Lana in Galway offers a mixed dining experience, with some dishes shining brightly while others fall short. The Massaman curry was flavorful and aromatic, and the fried calamari was a standout—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. Families will appreciate the massive kids’ portions, which are great value for money.
Unfortunately, the Massaman curry’s beef was disappointing. Despite being advertised as slow-cooked, it consisted of small, chewy pieces that detracted from an otherwise excellent dish.
Overall, Lana Galway gets a 3 out of 5 stars. While there are some definite highlights, the inconsistency in the quality of key ingredients holds it back from being a top-tier dining experience.
