Cool little spot I stopped in to grab some ice cream on a weeknight. The place was open late and worked out perfectly. I was drawn in by the banana Oreo flavor which was a first for me and I have to say it was super tasty. Ice cream was firm but creamy and definitely had a well pronounced banana flavor. Their cookies looked good as well but ice cream seems to be the star of the show despite having some other entree options as well. The interior was bright and clean and had nice art work around. Overall great place to stop if you’re in the area.

Google
Great tasty burgers and fries. Consistent quality and presentation. Friendly staff as well. One of the best smash burgers I’ve had in Oakland. Fries are always crisp and well seasoned. Desserts are good too. Cookies taste fresh and they have unique alternating flavors. Recently tried their black sesame ice cream. It was creamy, nutty and had a nice complex flavor.

My first time here. It was a last minute decision and I'm glad I came. My burger was so good. It was prepared well and tasted great. It wasn't done too fast, but it didn't take long either. The guts working were great; very friendly and efficient. If I'm in Oakland again I'll make sure to go again. I highly recommend this place.

I love Lana's! It's my favorite ice cream shop - so much so I went there for my birthday. The staff are super friendly and the flavors are superb. Banana Oreo and Lilikoi (passion fruit) are definitely my favorite. Shout out to the crew today for keeping my pint cold as I ate my waffle cone outside :)

Needed some dinner. This was near the escape room we we going to visit. I was not disappointed. Wow! Smash burger was amazing. Ambiance of this place was a nice change from the street environment. Great place for a burger and some tots fried in tallow.

Google
Really great ice cream place. I was surprised about the serving and flavor. I ordered banana Oreo, which is a flavor I have never seen before, and it was absolutely great. Serving wise, I have to say this is the largest serving I have ever had so far. I ordered a single with cone, which is at least equivalent to 2-3 scoops in a normal ice cream shop. It definitely worth your money to give it a try, and I will for sure come back again when I get opportunities and try new flavors.

Google
Cute, fun ice cream shop ducked off in downtown. I found it looking for something sweet on a hot day. I got cookies and cream cookies and a fried chicken sandwich, both were to die for. The staff was very nice and helpful overall, only complaint I have was the lack of paper products in the bathroom...had to grab a fistful of napkins to use the facilities.

The fries and burger were solid, but the real star was the Thai tea flavored milk shake. Top tier. I fried my dopamine receptors.

Yelp
Lana's is a rebranding of Cookiebar Creamery with added services: smashburgers, chicken sandwiches, coffee, loose leaf tea, fries...similar seating? Simple wall decor with food pics, topical posters Sips: double espresso black (3.50) -quick service by associates... -ready in 5ish minutes. Most patrons eating burgers. -uber strong, bold covfefe with a slight bite which i didn't mind. Adds some character and a wake up stimuli. Street parking challenging .

Yelp
holy canoli this place not only has great ice cream but their smash burger is insaneeely good. Makes perfect sense after learning they worked with Smish Smash burgers. I got the deluxe with hot fries (hot tots, but fries) and a small cup of black sesame ice cream. Solid menu all around and the staff are always so welcoming.

Yelp
It was between this and another joint when my partner and I decided to DoorDash a burger on a rainy day. Y'all Yelpers convinced me -- this was a damn good burger. Even takeout and a bit of sitting didn't make the burger taste any worse. The two smash patties were buttery and the sweet bun made it even better. I added grilled onions which didn't disappoint (will it ever?) Really bummed that we ordered their house made ranch and our order showed up without it, but we're coming back to try it. The fries lacked that oomph so I bet that ranch would make it alright. Will be returning to try the other burgers, and maybe some ice cream!

Yelp
I finally got to try them!!!!!! Let me just say this, get the Lemonade Blueberry ice cream with a sugar cone!!!!! It was a hit!!!! That was the best ice cream flavor I had in my life- not sure if they make this flavor their self or what. I did speak to some other customers who stated they come once a week for a pint of this flavor!!! Parking is not the greatest, they have parking in front of their business but there are other local businesses - so the parking spots can be taken up. The inside was very cutesy, the lighting was so perfect, I wondered what kind of lighting mounts they use. I would love to just take a million pics in there. Everyone was super nice, staff was accommodating- since it was my first time. Only thing was, I ordered a smash burger and ice cream.... I would have liked my burger first, and then enjoyed my ice cream. However, I got my ice cream first, and had to let it sit until I got my burger ... a little bothering but it was ok. I let it sit in a cup and it didn't even melt fast so it was totally fine. I destroyed the burger, it was so good I didn't even get a pic. lol Check them out!!! * they even had nice plants inside

Yelp
My favorite ice cream/ cookie fix! The BEST ice cream sandwiches! Natural ingredients. The real deal!

Yelp
This used to be another ice cream shop but I forget the name. Lana's not only has ice cream but food as well. The interior looks unchanged for the most part. I got the double size up to 3 flavors in a cup for $8.xx and a chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was aright, nothing special. The ice cream was good and creamy. Banana Oreo was most favorite then salted caramel and lastly fruity pebbles. I didn't taste too much fruity pebbles in it. The service was nice and fast. Will be back when in the area. Street parking only

Yelp
Heard this is one of the best smashburgers in town. It's definitely pretty good but a good house sauce would elevate it. They do have burgers with sauce options so there's that. We got our food pretty quickly. No bad interaction with the staff either. This is a popular spot.. a lot of different crowds came in and out while we ate. We like the energy. They could use a little more seating though. Anyway, we would definitely come back again.

Yelp
I recently tried Lana's with a group of friends (my own informal burger crew ). I love a good smash burger, so I was excited to give Lana's a try. I ended up going with the deluxe burger with a side of tater tots. The burger was flavorful, well seasoned, with a good soft bun. The tater tots were excellent with a good salt ratio. My pro tip would be to get a side of chipotle mayo to dip them in! Overall the food was really tasty. This spot also sells cookies and ice cream if that's something you're into. The staff were friendly. In terms of vibe, I would say Lana's gives off a sort of 50's diner vibe. I will say that there's limited seating inside, so this place isn't great for large groups. I'd definitely come back to try their chicken sandwich and hot tots if I'm in the area again!

Yelp
Been here a handful of times! Mainly for ice cream and it hits every single time. So do the cookies! I aways opt in for the cone (duh). Vietnam coffee is one of my favorite flavors and the Ube you cannot skip out on. Will def try the food next and update my review! Staff is always nice and counters look clean despite how messy ice cream can be!
google avatar

Quoc K.

Yelp
Smash burgers and tater tots! Pretty damn good if you ask me. Staff was friendly and more than helpful. They also have unique Asian inspired ice creams flavors too! Way too many flavors for just one trip so i have to go back.

Yelp
The secret is out--Lana's is a very popular spot. Waits can be longer but the quality is well worth it! Timing is everything but I just went in and it took a long time, i witnessed a customer complaining of the wait and when told his burgers were a few minutes away he decided to leave. I felt bad for him, and the nice folks working there scrambling to make it right. My order took way longer than usual today. That's what happens when you're popular! I was happy, despite the delay and the drama.
google avatar

Catalina L.

Yelp
Tasty ice cream with more Asian-inspired flavor variety. Staff was friendly to sample different flavors. Decided to get a cup with two scoops Jasmine Milk Tea - floral and amazing flavor here (favorite) Thai Tea - super flavorful and great Black Sesame - nutty and enjoyed Salted Caramel - very light and not much flavor The texture of the ice cream is soft and airy, and not on the creamy/thick side so I feel it melts a bit faster than other varieties I prefer. Location has some interior barstool or diner vibe seating, and two small sidewalk patio tables. Apparently serves burgers and food as well

Yelp
Came to Lana's for the smash burgers and ice cream. Left fully satisfied! Great crust on the burgers and high quality ingredients. Lots of ice cream flavors. Really enjoyed the Banana Oreo and Zaza. Servers were really helpful and patient as we tried a few flavors out. They were pretty fast getting through orders too. Would definitely come again for the smash burger fix!

Yelp
I stopped by on a Monday evening for dinner with some friends and Lana's was pretty empty when we arrived at 6:15 p.m. Despite being so empty, our orders too quite a while to prepare, about twenty minutes or so. I tried their fried chicken sandwich - not the deluxe version which includes tomatoes and shredded lettuce for close to $2 more. The chicken was juicy but not that crispy. I didn't like how the sandwich was drowning in mayo either. The balance was just off. My wife got the Oklahoma style smash burger which is supposed to have an over abundance of onions integrated into the patty but it felt like the same amount of onions you would be getting at In-N-Out, which is not that much. The redeeming quality about Lana is that the hot fries are fried really well - better than fresh McDonald's fries, and they have delicious ice cream flavors, even some Asian inspired ones like ube and black sesame. The Bay Area has plenty of spots offering smash burgers and fried chicken sandwiches but unfortunately, Lana doesn't do either particularly well. I unlikely will stop by again for either of those items.

Yelp
My Sunday routine is usually to get a burger from Smish Smash and a beer at Great Notion brewery in Berkeley. Today I decided to mix it up as I was craving ice cream. Lana's is located in downtown Oakland close to Rattos and Square Pie Guys. The girl working the counter was extremely friendly while taking our order and it didn't take long before the food to come out. If you've had Smish Smash you'll be very familiar with this style of burger as word on the street is that Vic from Smish Smash taught these people how to do their burgers. Everything was well seasoned and flavorful and the bacon on the western burger was of good quality. After my meal I opted for a lilikoi sorbet ice cream cone and it was smooth and refreshing with just the right amount of acidity and sweetness. Did I mention that they also have fresh baked cookies? I'm going to make sure to try them the next time I visit. Keep up the good work!

Yelp
I was in the mood for a Smashed Burger and found Lana's with the help of Yelp. I had the Deluxe with two patties, American cheese, lettuce tomato pickles onions and sub the sauce for ketchup and mustard. The patties were crispy and tasty. The customer service was great and the restaurant looked really clean. There's meter parking in the front. I'll definitely be back:)

Yelp
The few times I had heard about Lana's, it was because people were raving about their cookies or their ice cream. Little did I know that they were also secretly the home to one of the best smash burgers in Oakland. On a whim, I decided to give their Classic burger a try and ordered it via DoorDash, along with some fries. The order arrived still hot and the fries were still crispy, but pretty average for fries. The burger, on the other hand ... The Classic is quite simple - smashed patties, American cheese, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and onions - all the toppings I like on a basic burger. The patties had a nice crusty edge to them, a sign of a good smash burger in my book. My eyes were impressed, and soon so were my taste buds, as all the ingredients came together in a crispy but also juicy and meaty combination. It was so good, I just kept chowing down! Some reviewers on here have complained that the burgers are a little on the small side, but I guess that depends on your appetite. All I know is I can't wait to get my hands on another one of these really soon. I know I should probably give Lana's cookies and ice cream a shot, too, but I think I'll probably start off with one of their amazing smash burgers.

Yelp
3 words. COOKIE BUTTER SHAKE just so delicious. I had a random craving for something cold & sweet so i googled ice cream & this place was right up the street by the hotel I was staying at..chocolate chip cookies were so good too.

Yelp
Do you want ice cream that really coat your mouth full of flavor without being overly sweet? Here you go.Their flavors are rotational but everything we've tried is so so good. Thai tea, black sesame, rockier road, 1506(1606?) are a few of my favorite things.. The sizzling beef will hit your nostrils immediately and have your brain asking for some even though you're completely full. Something I definitely need to try at my next visit.

Yelp
First off this place is a serious hidden gem! Let's just say I've been sleeping on it since it's been changed to Lana's! Sadly I disappoint myself for this. So I've come twice now to get the smash burger and fries which is absolutely deliciousness in your mouth! The place gets pretty crowded which I was surprised to see so many others already know how yummy their food is. A lot of people even eat inside despite the small yet quaint dining area. The staff is super friends and helpful! I just love this places kick back chill vibe. I do however always get my food to go but I wouldn't mind staying next time and sitting at the window to watch the world go by! Stop by if you want a juicy delicious burger!

Yelp
Come for the ice cream, but consider the burger too. All of it is pretty thick and creamy. Great portioning. Surprisingly, the calamansi is my fave. It's for THE REAL calamansi lovers, a love for sour is required. But it's the most accurate calamansi ice cream I've ever had. Toasted sesame is awesome- like a sesame ball in an ice cream. Lemon blueberry swirl - all yum. more blueberry preferred. Strawberry poptart - fairly accurate. Pretty good Now about that burger - solid. It's got all the ingredients to make one of my fave burgers - mustard grilled pattie, extra pickles, lots of onions, and a super soft bun. but it was too strong on the mustard, and the bread doesn't taste like it was cooking with the burger on the grill. A little toasty would've gone a long way
google avatar

Jillian N.

Yelp
Ordered the okie onion smash and added tomatoes and lettuce. Along with fries and tater tots. The fries and tots are really good. The burger was okay in my opinion. Lacked a bit of flavor for me. I ordered to go and maybe it would be different eating there?
google avatar

Daniela J.

Yelp
Great smashburger. I came here on a Friday around 6 and there was a small but steady stream of people. There's only 2 or 3 high top tables and some stools to sit by the window so keep that in mind if planning to eat here. I was surprised with the low amount of people and small menu the burgers took quite a bit of time to be ready. They were very good though and I ordered the spicy fries and they had a really good spice to them. I ordered the deluxe and wish I had ordered the classic for my first time trying because I over indexed on spice but overall enjoyed it and will try it again.
google avatar

Evelyn V.

Yelp
The Okie onion smash!! Is delicious!!!! Definitely recommend coming here for a burger and ice cream! The banana Oreo is delicious! I always come in for a pint.
google avatar

Amy H.

Yelp
The ice cream selection here is fun and delicious. You unfortunately can only try two flavors so plan accordingly and plan to come back if you want to try more. The jasmine green tea is definitely up there in flavor. The ice cream has the rich tea notes and maintains the creamy flavor and texture. The fruity pebbles is more light on the fruity pebbles side and a great pick if you don't like the sweetness overload. Ice cream sandwiches can be a hit or miss. They are delicious but it feels like the ice cream to cookie ratio could be better. Or the ice cream melts too fast and into the cookie so it can be misleadingly disappearing.
google avatar

Rahul A.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream and burgers. I ordered a special limited time smash burger for myself and a banana split to share with friends. I enjoyed the smash burger and found it tasty, though I think the "speciality" Filipino-inspired burger I ordered was not worth a 50% higher price. I wish the patties had been a bit crispier as well, considering the style of the burger. Otherwise, the ingredients were quality and the preparation was done well. The banana split was fantastic with a fresh banana and not-too-sweet but very creamy ice cream with unique flavors. I particularly enjoyed the banana oreo and malted chocolate flavors. The employee behind the counter was extremely friendly and helped us determine what food and ice cream choices we'd enjoy. The interior of the restaurant was also clean and bright, though the seating was not the most comfortable.
google avatar

Justin M.

Yelp
My future hubby and I were craving a smash burger and stumbled across Lana's. Hands down the best burger I've had in Oakland. The patties are smashed thin so it's not an overload of beef, homemade buns, ranch, etc. I had the western burger and fries. I would give 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend Lana's. Great service too!
google avatar

Tiffany S.

Yelp
Such a great spot for ice cream and smash burgers. We had the Vietnamese iced coffee ice cream and it was great- not too sweet. I had their classic burger with tomato and lettuce- a pretty decent smash burger on a fluffy potato bun. Didn't like the fries- felt flat/ not seasoned- would skip those next time. Definitely the spot for ice cream- tons of people coming in to get a cone. Would come back to try other flavors next time!
google avatar

Anastacia S.

Yelp
Drove nearly an hour to try this place. Soooo glad I did! I got the classic burger, fries, and the Vietnamese coffee shake. All were epic and flawless. The crust on the burger is unlike any other. Buns are super soft (fresh) and they grill them perfectly. My family thoroughly enjoyed their burgers, fries, and shake! My kid was all about the double-chocolate chip cookie. I snuck a bite and it was truly delicious! We definitely will be coming back!
google avatar

Uday M.

Yelp
Ice cream is still great. Don't know if they rotate their flavors but there were some interesting ones to sample from that we haven't seen elsewhere.
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream flavors that tasted rich but not too heavy. We stumbled upon this shop and can't wait to come back We tried 3 different flavors and each one tasted amazing! Not dull flavors and it tastes like their description perfectly. Honestly cannot say enough good things about their product My only complaint is that their chairs aren't very comfortable
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
I visited Lana's on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised by their menu! I loved the inside theme and was looking forward to trying banana oreo, but they ran out by the time I arrived. I'll have to come back another time! I had the chance to sample other flavors like calamansi sorbet and decided to go with that. Strawberry was good too! They provide water for free in small cups. Seats are also provided in the shop. Parking is on the street and lightly competitive.
google avatar

Dontae R.

Yelp
Sometimes smash burgers lean heavily into the meat as a primary flavor driver. I was actually impressed by how tasty the house sauce was and the fact that the patties were actually seasoned. Fries were decent but I instantly regretted not getting the tots; next time. The cookies and cream cookie was also fantastic. Glad to see this place still kicking; hopefully it's thriving!

Yelp
We gave this ice cream place a try because we were already in the neighborhood. The zany flavors were what made us gave it a try - I did a taste test of the Thai iced tea which was unusual and tasted exactly as a Thai iced tea would. I guess my issue is that I ordered two flavors I hadn't previously tasted. The rocky road which had a malted chocolate flavor more so than actual chocolate; the mini marshmallows in it looked cute but were not super flavorful. Similarly the Vietnamese coffee only faintly tasted of coffee, maybe because Vietnamese coffee is made with condensed milk. My friend ordered the fruity pebbles ice cream (after having tasted it) but could only get through a few spoonfuls because it was so sugary. I also tried it and it was clear the ice cream had cereal ground up into it; if sugar overload is your thing then by all means go ahead. We were treated well by the staff and the place was very clean, although you could smell the cleaning supplies. Perhaps we just had an off day should have ordered different flavors. We ended up going to a different ice cream shop after eating here because it didn't satisfy our itch.

Yelp
Ever had a craving that sticks around? Let me tell you about the spot that has me hooked. This gem in Oakland makes some of the most incredible smash burgers and fried chicken sandwiches you'll ever taste. The funny thing is - this is the same recipe as Smish Smash that started their pop-up here, which I'm not mad about because their recipe is the best in the Bay Area! Here's the deal: their smash burger is super crispy, flat, and hella tasty. Choose the classic or deluxe based on your mood. Either way, you won't regret it. But the fried chicken sandwich? It's a crispy, well-seasoned chicken thigh. The batter is amazing and the flavor packs a punch. I always skip the fries and get both sandwiches. Then, I think, "Did I really need all that?" The answer is always, "ABSOLUTELY!" They also make great ice cream. It's a cool treat after the flavorful sandwich feast. The food here doesn't just fill your belly, it makes your day. Trust me, you're in for a treat. Edit: burger patties could be a bit more seasoned.

Yelp
Great burgers and tots. As an added bonus, great ice cream and cookies. Put them together for a fat ass meal. Too bad they're not open for lunch on Tuesdays, when our staff are working in the office.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem for sure ! Smash burger and the chocolate shake were excellent and the fries were amazing, I would say this place is a mimic of burger never say die in Los Angeles. I will be back for sure when I'm craving a smash style burger. Service was chill nothing crazy , laid back people. -food god

Yelp
Here's a rundown of what we thought of the flavors: Macupuno: I love coconut but this tasted like a generic syrup mix, it just wasn't good. Banana oreo: very weird cheap tasting banana, like tge artificial banana taffy that people eat as kids mixed in with real oreo Thai Tea: Decent but definitely no Mitchell's or Polly Ann's quality Vietnamese Coffee: The best one o tried so I bought this. Tasted like a creamy Vietnamese coffee. Cookie Dough: Also dissapointed in their cookie dough. For some reason it just tasted like sugar with small bits of chocolate. My coworker bought a cookie and it just wasn't good. I would skip this place next time.

Yelp
Once upon a time, this used to be cookiebar. It has since changed to Lana's, but they have the same flavor of ice creams and cookies that cookiebar had and I love them for keeping it. The only difference other than they name is they also serve burgers and fries now too. This location is in one of the one way streets downtown and street parking is a hit or miss. I don't like that they're only open between the hours of 5 - 9PM. Over the weekends they're open 2 - 9PM. There are a few bars nearby which is why parking is hard. There were quite a few people in line 30 minutes before closing which surprised me and most people, I saw, ordered a burger, so I'll have to come back and give it a try, especially their fried chicken sandwich. This is the only place I know of that sells a pint of black sesame ice cream which is why I came here. I also walked out with a scoop of my favorite flavor, fruity pebbles ice cream (fight me). My reason for giving this place 3 stars is the location, lack of parking and service. While the servers were really nice, they were all moving so slow. There was a line of people and the guy in front of me only ordered cookies. The pint that I ordered was already scooped and in the freezer. The only thing they had to do for me was a kids scoop in a cup. I can appreciate that it's the end of the night and everyone is tired and overworked, but the wait time for the amount of things people asked for is a little bit ridiculous. There was also only one person really working the register scooping ice cream while the others, Im assuming, is fulfilling orders in the backend. Not their fault for being overworked, just wish it wasn't the case for cookies and pints that were already pre-scooped.

Yelp
I would say the experience at Lana's is 3.5 at best. While the interior boasts a clean and minimalistic design, the way this place is built with very few tables to seats to sit around suggests that it's meant to be a grab and go kind of place. However it paces much like a slow sit down restaurant. We came on a weeknight looking to grab some standard smash burgers. Previously we had some ice cream there on a separate visit and had enjoyed their treats. There wasn't a line when we went in and we were able to place our orders quickly. The guy who took our orders worked efficiently and was courteous. Then came the long agonizing wait. We stood uncomfortably by the cute Coca Cola table for the next 30 min as we watched lines of people shuffle in and out. Other people that had ordered before us either found tables or bar tables to lean on, waiting patiently as well. One customer had rudely flagged the service staff several times complaining that his order wasn't right, that his fried chicken looked raw, etc. I felt embarrassed for his behaviors. Luckily the service staff remained friendly and unfazed. Once they took care of his needs, they continued to busily handle phone in or online orders. It was hard to tell what seemed to be the bottleneck. I saw at least 4 people working and 3 of them handled front tasks, and one of them seem like he was the owner. The kitchen was not visible, well positioned behind the bathroom. I wondered if they had a tiny plancha that could only handle 1-2 patties at once? My husband joking said that perhaps they only had one burger press; but even if that was the case, shouldn't they be trying to stamp out as many patties as they could? I don't know what but something is clearly not working. After a long wait we got our orders and took them home. The tater tots were excellent and well seasoned. So were the fries. We enjoyed the classic double and the deluxe. It's strange that the classic double did not come with lettuce. Overall the burgers were really delicious, crispy, and savory but it took us such a long time from beginning to end that I'm not sure I would go back there just to get burgers. If I were to do this all over again, I probably would order ahead and drive over once confirmed that the burgers were ready to pick up. Or I would just get ice cream. I think the competition for a decent burger is pretty high in this area. Hopefully they can figure out a way to fix their process so orders would not take so long to complete. Alternatively, they could invest in better seating, eg some booths, so that if we did have to wait, we wouldn't be so uncomfortable.

Yelp
*This review is for the burgers My friends and I went here to try out their burgers, and they were delicious! I had the old town western with fries. The burger was juicy and savory. The fries were ok, nothing special. I didn't try any ice cream, but my friends tried the old-fashioned sundae, and they said it was perfect! When I come back here, I definitely have to try it out for myself. The service was pretty good, but it was slow. We waited for a while for our food. The ambiance of the place was beautiful. It looked new and eye-catching--the place where it's located, though not so much. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars, I would come back here!

Yelp
I came back here on a Friday early evening to treat myself to ice cream; there were no other customers at the time so service was quick. You're limited to two samples currently. I got to try the cookie dough which tasted good but is less interesting/unique than most of their other flavors. I ended up getting a double of Thai tea and lilikoi sorbet (passionfruit); the Thai tea tastes super strongly like what it's supposed to emulate and is super creamy and sweet, so I really liked it, while the lilikoi was also good and is more tart and is one of the few dairy-free flavors, but due to not containing dairy it's a lot less rich-tasting than their other ice cream. They still have some seating both inside and outside of the shop. At $7.75 for a double (before tip) it's pretty standard for ice cream prices nowadays.

Yelp
A friend told me about this place having the best smashburger and he's not wrong. If you are a fan of this style of burger , give this ice cream shop a try .

Yelp
Full disclosure: I was so excited about the ice cream that I forgot to take a picture before I ate it. I was sad when I saw that Cookiebar Creamery went away. Lo and behold, it is now Lana's! Ice Cream: - Do yourself a "treat yoself" favor and get the banana Oreo ice cream - so good! I got a mixed single scoop with this and the oatmeal cookie (also delicious) - You can get up to two flavor samples (very difficult with so many flavors to choose from). I was between the banana Oreo, fruity pebbles, oatmeal cookie, and lemon blueberry Food: - Lana's has ice cream, cookies, ice cream sandwiches, burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, etc. Miscellaneous: - Bathroom available via code - Parking available via metered street parking - There are two counter tops available to sit at and some tables outside

Yelp
This review is just for the ice cream - for now. My friend and I wanted dessert and after some wandering around, finally found Lana's. Idk if there was a sign we both missed, but we had a hard tjme telling it was Lana's and not just a burger place (since we were looking for an ice cream place). But the inside is clean and neat, and cute. Like a modern Ice cream shop. The ice cream flavors. Wow. Wowowow. Such interesting and fun flavors, all without being over the top. The jasmine milk tea was and tasted like my normal milk tea order - not too sweet either. I got a double with three flavors cause the milk tea was so good it wrecked my genius plan for the banana oreo and Vietnamese coffee. The banana oreo wasn't the fake banana flavor I was worried about getting. Instead it was sweet and had a nice mild banana flavor. The staff was friendly and nice. Can't complain! The only downside is you're limited to two flavors to try, but that's just all the more reason to come back. Can't wait to come back here to try the savory foods! Almost walked out with poutine but I guess rhat it will be for next time.

Yelp
Came for ice cream and decided to order sandwiches too. Ordered banana split with ube, macapuno, and Thai tea ice cream. Those are Southern Asian flavors that hit their flavor point. And yes it went very well with bananas. 4.5/5 stars Stop and listen... the classic double smash burger and the fried chicken sandwich are AMAZING! Yes, I'm shouting. Classic double's meat was tastier than most burgers. The meat is seasoned well and does not need extra stuff in it to taste good. Both sando are simply dressed but full of flavor. The fried chicken sandwich has the most crunchy tasty coating, delicious dill pickles, and siracha mayo just perfection. 5/5 stars

Yelp
Love Lana's!! Friendly service always. The burgers are on point. This day, we stopped in for some desert. Yummy fresh cookies with ice cream on the side. Can't go wrong!

Yelp
Lana's is a shop that sells both burgers/sandwiches as well as ice cream, although I only came for the dessert. The inside isn't too large, although it does have a couple tables and some booths to sit at. It was pretty empty when I came, but getting the ice cream would be pretty quick regardless. They thankfully allow sample tasting here and the service here was quite good. I decided to try a few flavors like the cookies and cream and rocky road, but I ultimately settled on the lemon-blueberry swirl. This one was pretty interesting, since the frozen blueberries in the ice cream went well with the mellow lemon taste which wasn't too sour. Overall, this is a nice shop to visit if you want some quick dessert!
