The Best Mall Restaurants in the San Francisco-Bay Area | Eater SF

"Land Ocean, with its three locations across the region including at the Roseville Galleria, is proudly locally owned and serves up big Ruth’s Chris-Houston’s-Mastro’s energy, dishing out grilled artichokes, seared ahi tuna salads, and various burgers in an artful-in-a-restrained-kind-of-way space. The stars of the menu are the steaks, which can be ordered with an accompanying lobster tail if you want the full land-ocean experience. Wash it down with a glass of bubbles (Chandon, perhaps, if you want something local) or a martini, which come infused with pomegranate or jalapeno." - Lauren Saria

Google
Amazing food! The calamari is so tasty. I had the poke bowl and the flavor profile was incredible. My wife enjoyed the filet stir fry. We shared the lava cake for dessert 😋

Google
Food was a disappointment after hearing such good things. Lobster Benedict no flavor, oysters on the half shell tender but very salty, bloody Mary was blah.

Billy W.

Google
Service was good, but a little slow on following up with the table. The food was really good. I will be coming back during my next visit. The vibe in the atmosphere really pulls you out of the mall and into a higher end dining experience.

Google
Dropped in after a movie for a late lunch. We have eaten at this location previously. The staff was great, it was the food that was not great today. My Burger was overcooked and dry, fry's were not hot and seemed like they were sitting for awhile. We will try again perhaps an off day for the chef staff.

Google
Pretty good place to eat and grab a drink. Service was good server very friendly. I need to try some more items. But we had was alright.

Ron S.

Google
The food and service were average—nothing particularly memorable. Portions were small for the price, though the presentation of the dishes was nicely done.

Google
First Timer and will DEFINITELY RETURN! Shared the Surf and Turf with an added Prawn (2 each) at the recommendation of our waiter....sweet dipping sauce. Cup of Clam Chowder... Tasty but a bit spicy. Grilled Asparagus...bland...better with a squeeze of fresh lemon.

Google
So, birthday dinner for the wifey. We travel to Roseville CA from S. Dakota to visit family and intended to go to Ruth C. Checked out the Land and Ocean menu and prices. Wow, website states much cheaper prices. Sea bass, $36 at the restaurant $45. Filet mignon, $42 website and $49 at the restaurant. Just felt like a shell game

Yelp
Our server, Tony, was great and our food was amazing. We atmosphere was upbeat. We have already booked the same time and date for next year

Yelp
We celebrated my dad's birthday here over the weekend. We had a reservation for eight and arrived a few minutes early -- they were able to seat us right away even though our full party wasn't there yet, which we appreciated. They gave us a large booth in the back. It was spacious but not the most practical for a group of all adults (plus two kids), since anyone needing to get up made the whole row move. Still, the seating was comfortable overall. Our server, Josh, was excellent -- attentive, friendly, and checked on us often. A few of us ordered drinks; the old fashioneds were okay but came with ice cubes instead of a single large cube, and the lemon drop was very sweet. For appetizers we had French bread, calamari, and oysters, all solid items. Although I feel like we shouldn't be charged for "bread" For entrees, I had the surf & turf and my partner had the poke bowl. My steak was cooked medium as ordered, though a few bites were slightly dry. The prawns were great, and the coconut-style sauce they came with was honestly the standout of the night. My partner loved the poke bowl -- very fresh. For dessert, we shared the pumpkin cheesecake, which tasted more like pumpkin pie but was still really good. The only odd part of the night was the ending. While we were chatting after dessert, the host came over and placed a "reserved" sign on our table, saying it was reserved for another group. They told us to take our time, but it still felt like we were being nudged to leave, which made the end of the evening feel a bit rushed. Overall, good food, a great server, and a few small hiccups with the seating and pacing at the end.

Yelp
The ambiance was okay when we went around 4pm on a Saturday with no reservations. We were trying to beat the dinner rush. I'm not sure why reservations are needed for this establishment. I mean, it's inside the mall. The hostess was nice and told us the wait time to dine inside was about 20 min but the bar was open. We opted to wait. They take your number and send you a text when a table is ready. It took a hot minute for our server to come but at least he came with water. I was hungry so we ordered right away along with our choice of appetizers. Crab cakes, calamari and two ribeye dinners that totaled $167 with tip. The crab cakes were okay. Soggy and wet in the middle. We ate one and left the other. Calamari was the same, barely crispy but it was hot. Now, the ribeyes were just WEIRD and had an unexpected taste, maybe it was the chipotle butter that was on top of the taste. I don't know. It didn't taste like beef rib-eye. Probably some rare heritage breed that only ate grass from Switzerland or something? Haha. We didn't like it. Mine was medium rare but it was chewy. I don't like chewy ribeye at all. We both took a few bites and left the rest on the table. We took nothing home. Paid for our meal and left. I don't think the husband will ever dine there with me again but I might give it another chance but I am definitely staying away from the items we ordered. Maybe the "Turf" will taste like seafood. We shall see. Note: the mashed potatoes was the only thing that was decent to our standards but it is served in a cast iron pan which gives you about maybe a cup of it. Please don't put two limp pieces of asparagus and display them crisscrossed. It just looks weird and unappealing.

Yelp
Fantastic experience at Land Ocean. Our server was attentive and food was delicious!!!! The drinks were amazing!

Yelp
We were looking for a nice place to celebrate our son's recent college graduation. This was our first time here and we all were very impressed. We are beef lovers and each ordered a different steak entree. I had the surf and turf which came with shrimp. So succulent and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we loved the ambiance of the dining area. Our server was attentive and friendly while also letting us enjoy our dinner. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food here plus gluten free and dairy free choices! I had the tortilla soup and it was delicious, lightly spiced! We shared the Teriyaki Wagyu and the chef was nice and split it into two plates! Nice and cozy place to eat with a full bar. A definite must try.
google avatar

Diana L.

Yelp
Underwhelming food especially for the price. Service was nice but slow and only one time checking on us to fill our water. Portions are a little small.
google avatar

Yelp
We were at the mall and ate here out of convenience. Service was efficient and the food came out quickly. I had the ahi poke tacos and the mushroom burger with fries. The burger was cooked perfectly. I guess I was quite hungry as I ate my food with a quickness. Overall, the place was better than expected.

Yelp
I have always loved eating at Land Ocean and today we were celebrating a special birthday! We started off with a delicious bloody Mary... whoever made it, thank you for putting horse radish in it!! We ended up having 2 of those :) We ordered an appetizer- Tenderloin Wellingtons. Those come with a brandy peppercorn sauce and béarnaise. Those are melt in your mouth good! Trust me! Order them! For lunch - Macadamia Nut Crusted Chilean Sea Bass Comes with coconut jasmine rice, broccolini and soy-ginger glaze... I would order this over and over and over it was perfectly cooked, tender, moist... a dish of perfection! Spice Crusted Ahi Tuna. Served with sauteed spinach, garlic black rice, roasted corn salsa and avocado mango puree. Every bite was delicious and tasted so fresh. I loved how it was just barely seared so you could get a really good taste of the fish. For dessert- Banana Cream Dessert- Oreo cookie crust, banana liqueur custard, fresh banana slices & white chocolate whipped cream... My gawd... every single bite for lunch was PERFECTION! Service was good, we did have to flag down our server to get our 2nd drinks but other than that it went really well. It was a beautiful gorgeous day and after we finished, it was time to go shopping!!

Bonnie B.

Yelp
Food was just ok ;-; salads were over dressed and crab cake was cold Service was good
google avatar

Jude A.

Yelp
I had the sharp cheddar burger and the filet mignon. The burger was decent, and the filet mignon was also quite good. The server was very responsive and accommodative. The ambience was pretty chill as I arrived 30 minutes before closing. The bartender made some pretty good cocktails as well.

Yelp
It was my first time there, very good food, drinks & service. I'm definitely going back to try other menu options.

Yelp
I was in Sacramento for the weekend and was invited to this restaurant, unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I ordered the salmon and cilantro rice. The salmon was very dry and flavorless and the rise I couldn't even eat it. I love lemon martinis but this one was the worst I've ever had and I tried to compensate the taste with a coffee martini but it was a disappointment. At $15 each of course I had to drink them. Not to be rude or anything, but I did pay over $200 for two of my friends in my meal, including their drink drinks. I know it's not an excuse for the restaurant. We did arrive late and we were the last ones to leave but when you're going to offer top notch meals and drinks I expect 100% . One thing I am very satisfied with is my server he stayed even after he clocked out and we left .

Yelp
Came here after lunch at 1pm but Brunch menu runs until 3pm so we ordered some food from the brunch and the regular menu. Everything was so delicious! Daniel was our server and he was very attentive. A lot of seating all the way to the patio. Clean and great atmosphere inside.
google avatar

Miko D.

Yelp
Land ocean restaurant of Roseville is a great restaurant for a nice date or to take the family. The restaurant is located inside Roseville mall so it's not hard to get to at all and be careful of wait times on the weekends. Came here for Mother's Day dinner and was pleasantly surprised with the portions and how well the food is made. I ordered the surf and turf and definitely recommend as it was cooked very well!
google avatar

Wayne G.

Yelp
We enjoyed having a very good meal in a Mall. We had the very good generous portion of tender wood fired chicken. The asparagus and mashed potatoes are very good though in small portions. The service is good and there's a comfortable atmosphere.
google avatar

Lindsey W.

Yelp
Tony was our sever, excellent service! Attentive & very friendly. We got the filet mignon Benedict from the brunch menu. It was very underwhelming. It felt like it would be something from a buffet, not from a nice restaurant like LO. The potatoes looked and tasted like they were the frozen ones & were fried. The meat was tough. I should have just gotten the filet mignon entree.

Yelp
It had been awhile since BWE and I had eaten here. We decided to try it again, and we were happily impressed. The place has a quiet vibe to it. You would think that there would be lots of noise with it being in the mall but we didn't notice any of the mall noise in the restaurant. We started with the grilled artichoke with the lemon basil remoulade. This is a MUST try. It is grilled to perfection. The remoulade kicks it up a notch and the flavors pop in your mouth. For the main course, BWE got the filet mignon stir fry with a cilantro lime rice. She loved it! It had tons of veggies (which she loves) while not skimping on the beef. I got the surf and turf with mash potatoes. I must admit when the plate first came I thought "Is that going to be enough food?" It was the perfect portion. The sirloin steak was a perfect medium rare and the shrimp was nice and crunchy on the outside (breaded) and pillowy soft on the inside. Deliciousness! Service was quick and easy. We always have to be wary of food allergies. We let our waiter know and he was happy to be sure there was no contamination of BWE's dish. Great spot!

Yelp
Never again. We made reservations, however, our hostess stated "Our reservations are for any table so we can sit you on the patio; otherwise it's a 45 min wait". Absolutely at no point during the reservation making process did it offer me a choice or declination of seating. She then seated us at a high top on the patio. The couple behind us that did not have reservations was also seated on the patio at a standard seat. Make it make sense. Plenty of empty seats inside, the table next to us asked why they were keeping them empty. They were told, those tables are for people with reservations. Us, sweating on the patio, with reservations, dumbfounded, confused and feeling insulted. I've attached photos of the reservation process, hopefully hostess can see the customers point of view and change her approach to over booked tables. We're easy going and had places to be after dinner so, we sat at our 'reserved' patio high top table and started to enjoy the evening. Unfortunately, Land Ocean in Roseville is going to charge you 4 star prices for a subpar buffet eatery experience. Drinks are alright, low level bartenders mixing drinks. Food is absolutely horrible. These are premade plates Sat under a warmer. If you receive piping hot plates you know it's a reheat and that is absurd for the prices they charge. My husband's medium rare ribeye was well done. My pre poured gravy over the rotisserie chicken was gelatinously congealed. Both of our asparagus was under cooked and inedible. A $55 steak should be made to order, another insult. The only saving grace was our wonderful server, she was professional and understanding and asked her manager to work with our dissatisfaction. However, we won't be returning to this location and to be honest, this has made us feel pretty disloyal to the whole franchise.

Yelp
Always walk by this restaurant but never bothered to try it until today. We actually wanted tacos from downstairs but they were closed so we ate here. I had the bbq burger with fries. Burger was good but the fries were a tad too salty. Luckily it came with a side of ranch to drown out the salt. Daughter ordered the chicken sandwich and side salad. She enjoyed the salad and devoured the oysters. May possibly eat here again if we're shopping at the Galleria. Not sure yet. There wasn't really a "wow! We need to come back!" feel.
google avatar

Faith K.

Yelp
Used to be SO GOOD! First they took off the thai chili chicken wings, which was a family favorite. Sucks, but fine. Next, they took off the caprese salad, my all time favorite, with no explanation! I only found out a few weeks ago when i didn't see it on the menu and asked the waitress. she said they had all the ingredients and would ask, but then returned to say the kitchen refused to make it. Couldn't even find an entree half worthwhile to eat, so just watched my table eat and picked at the only good thing left: the calamari. Sad! Management, please consider bringing back those dishes!

Yelp
Land Ocean is that secret that should be shared. Located in the Roseville Galleria, but don't let that discourage you at all!. Parking is pretty easy and free, and it's easy to get to the restaurant. Diners tip: if you plan on dining for dinner, reservations do help. They do not take reservations for happy hour. We've been here a couple of times for happy hour, and I must say, this is one of my favorite happy hour spots. I absolutely enjoy the menu, and they have some really wonderful tasty treats. Onion rings. You need them. You want them. They are a must try. You don't get a lot in the order, mostly because it's a happy hour menu, but that doesn't mean you only need to order at once. They are lightly fried, flavorful, and just absolutely perfect ! If you enjoy adult libations, the seating for happy hour is in their small but quaint bar area, and the bartenders know what they're doing! You want the Wellington's! The puff pastry, is filled with perfectly seasoned beef, with the most delicious Bernaise sauce... For me, it's a meal, but it absolutely is shareable and you'll be disappointed if you don't try it! The chicken skewers are OK and quite frankly, I would take a pass on them and find some other tasty treats on the menu. You can order from the regular menu as well, which makes dining in the bar area feel a little bit more quaint. Their dinner menu is amazing, and in fact, it's actually a great place for date night, a fun night out with friends, and, they even offer brunch during the weekends! Fun night out with friends, date night, lunch, dinner, brunch, and yes, you can even take the kids if you'd like. They do offer a kids menu. Great food, great service, and a great experience overall!

Yelp
Restaurant is located on second floor of the mall. We parked over by crate and barrel. We had a reservation and were seated timely upon arrival. When making reservations, it was nice to be given the option our preference for seating (ie: booth, bar, regular table, etc.). Boyfriend thought sear was good on his filet and it was juicy, but he thought it was on the smaller side. He enjoyed his dragon margarita. I got the New York strip and enjoyed the onion rings that came with it! Asparagus was good as well. The fat wasn't really rendered on the New York strip since there were some chewy hard bits of it. It is a bit pricey here for what you get but service was good.

Yelp
AWESOME - FIVE STARS! First visit to this location - usually we go to the Folsom location. This one is inside the Galleria Mall upstairs by Nordstrom. Easy to find. The restaurant is beautiful. They also have a very nice bar area. We came in for Valentine's Day and were seated at exactly our reservation time. We got a nice booth in the rear section and it was comfy and classy. Our server (Courtney) was great! Friendly, efficient, helpful, cheerful. She made our night. The pomegranate margarita is a MUST! Delicious and refreshing. We ordered garlic bread (awesome), two entrees, a side of asparagus, and dessert. Overall a good value for the price and quality of the food. Everything came out from the kitchen hot and perfectly as ordered. I recommend the surf and turf which is a filet and three coconut shrimp. Instead of the mashed potatoes - get it with the coconut rice!! The asparagus was huge and cooked perfectly. The apple crisp was gooey and sweet. We enjoyed a great meal and can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Cozy up and experience ahhhhmaZing food, ambiance and of course fabulous customer service! This and more at the modern and trendy Land Ocean Restaurant in the Roseville Galleria. I LOVE this restaurant! So who does not want to be pampered and catered to? I certainly do. And when I make the drive from El Dorado Hills for a day of shopping...I look forward to my final destination...Land Ocea n...for cocktails and fine dining. A super incredibly festive and low lights atmosphere awaits you! The intimate and dazzling Bar is my go to! It always sets the perrrrfect tone. And of course Sarah and Tyler make it sooo much fun! They just rock it. It does not matter what you order. It is all good. I do love the chicken skewers and wedge salad. Guilty as charged!:) The premium wine list pleases me. That is a good thang.:) Simply the best of the best places to relax and chill when you are in the area. At night the outside patio is so romantic. The blazing fire element is well...on fiyah! Mesmerizing. Not to be missed. So show up and dive into fun, food and great vibes! I will definitely be seeing you there.

Yelp
I made a reservation here to try out this restaurant since I've never been here before. Upon arrival, we were asked if we wanted to dine inside or outside & chose to sit outside since the weather was wonderful! We were sat near the entrance of the mall where people were coming in & out, but we didn't mind it since it allowed us to people watch. When our server arrived, he guided us through the menu & offered up some recommendations. We decided to start with calamari while we decided on entrees. When our server came back around, he helped us finally choose the lobster tails & filet mignon. The calamari itself was okay, nothing too really impressive as it was a little bit too greasy for my taste but that's fine. When our entrees came, both dishes looked absolutely amazing. The lobster looked juicy & not overcooked, & the filet mignon had a perfect crust, whereas our sides looked just as good. After our first bites, we were ready to demolish these dishes. We managed to clear our plates, that's how good these dishes were! The lobster was so juicy & the buttery was perfect to top it off. The filet was cooked to a good medium, and that crust was wonderful. The energy of our server, the atmosphere, & the food were all amazing. I wish I remembered our servers name but I remember making an Eminem joke to him cos of his short blonde hair haha. Shoutout to him tho, he was great! I'll definitely be back

Yelp
Good food - my favorite is their salmon with a pineapple salsa on top. Their banana cream pie is one of the best around. Their Old Fashioned is popular as well due to the vanilla, and super classy with the ice ball. Service- is always friendly and efficient. Ambiance- This location is attached to the Roseville Galleria so you can enter from inside the mail or from outside. Nice modern vibe , great for dates or friends meet ups! I normally go to the Folsom Location. Consider opening one in Sacramento on Fair Oaks? One of my favorites when in the mall.
google avatar

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
The hostess could not find our reservation. The people we were dining with came and brought us to the table. The mussels and crab cake appetizer were over cooked. I was sad about that. The waiter did not give us a spoon for the mussel broth. Our entrees were good. We had margaritas and they were served to us with sticky glasses. I guess I just expected better service and better care for what they were serving. Disappointing.
google avatar

Daryl E.

Yelp
Zoie was great! Very helpful and patient. Restaurant has a nice calm atmosphere, despite being part of a mall. Still has a very upscale feel to it. Tried the pokè bowl and the blackened salmon. Both very flavorful dishes, the flavor of the wasabi rice and the mangos in the poke bowl blends so well with the other flavors, was a little skeptical at first but very pleasantly surprised after trying them. Delicious!
google avatar

Franny Z.

Yelp
I ordered lunch to go and ordered the Caesar Salad with chicken. It was so delicious. The chicken was moist and seasoned and I had just enough dressing! Thank you so much for the wonderful lunch!

Yelp
I was not expecting this. Land Ocean New American Grill is tucked away inside the Westfield Galleria, and honestly, I almost wrote it off just based on the location. But wow--this place completely surprised me in the best way possible. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is upscale and modern, with a sleek interior that feels more like a downtown date-night spot than a mall restaurant. You quickly forget you're steps away from retail stores. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, the lighting is just right, and everything--from the bar to the booths--feels polished and intentional. Service: The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our server gave great recommendations and checked in just enough without being overbearing. It's always nice when you feel like your server genuinely cares about your experience. Food: We tried a few dishes and were impressed across the board. Here's what we ordered: * Jumbo Prawn Cocktail: Fresh, chilled, and served with a tangy cocktail sauce. Classic and well-executed. * Bacon Jalapeño Mac & Cheese: Creamy, rich, and just the right amount of kick. Easily one of the stars of the meal. * Chicken Skewers: Perfectly grilled and seasoned--great for sharing. * Crispy Chicken Sandwich: Crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The kind of sandwich that satisfies without trying too hard. On previous visits, I've also tried the Spicy Garlic Mussels and the Thai Noodles--both of which are now staples for me. The mussels have a bold, garlicky broth that's perfect for dipping, and the noodles have a flavorful, slightly spicy punch that keeps you going back for more. Overall: Land Ocean is a great spot to grab a nice meal after a day of shopping. Whether you're looking for a casual lunch or a slightly elevated dinner, this place fits the bill. Don't let the mall location throw you off--this is a legit restaurant with great food, top-notch service, and an unexpectedly classy atmosphere.

Yelp
Another wonderful restaurant in the Roseville area. Inside looks inviting and has a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The smell of the food makes you so hungry. The food we ordered were all delicious and price was not that bad.

Vicki C.

Yelp
Food was tasty and the service good but there is a very limited offering of vegetables as side dishes. It's good if you want meat and potatoes otherwise I'd skip it
google avatar

Andrew V.

Yelp
I struggled with this rating but here it goes. Out of 4 dishes the only thing that was good was the filet. For the price range I expected more. My burger was over cooked, my son's NY steak was tough and my wife's dip was something I expect in a food court. The crab cakes were delicious but the calamari was not that good. To top it off they were out of diet soda. If you run a resultant you go to the store to make sure you're #2 selling soft drink is taken care of while your fountain is out. If they had diet soda this would have been 3 stars. Inside is nice. Didn't care for the noise that came in through the mall walkway.
google avatar

Yelp
Special Mothers Day dinner without a hitch, even though staff was short handed the team provided excellent service, food arrived promptly with no long delays. We sat inside however they do have nice outdoor seating w/heaters if you prefer. Had their special Filet mignon top with crab meat seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Chilean bass was also fantastic. Roseville lost a few good steakhouses over the past years, glad to know Land Ocean survived. Pleasantly surprised considering inside part of the galleria. We'll be visiting again!

Yelp
My son and I came here on a busy Sunday afternoon at the mall for a late lunch. My son ordered a burger and fries. I ordered the teriyaki skewers and a small Caesar salad. The food came out quickly which was good as we were both hungry. The skewers were chewy, dry and not much flavor. My salad was tasteless and the lettuce leaves were brown. It ended up being a pricey lunch, which for a single parent on a budget is challenging enough. But to have had a mediocre meal was incredibly disappointing. Service was good but not going to eat here again.
google avatar

Christopher M.

Yelp
Great food and decor. Awful service. Beer blows and instead of offering us the beer while they take 10min to change keg he lets my wife sit with out a beer. Pours out the beer.
google avatar

Toni B.

Yelp
Excellent service, fabulous food, and smoothly comfortable design in the decor. Had an amazing reunion lunch there with a dear friend and it was flawless.
google avatar

Catherine B.

Yelp
Very nice food and service, quick to get in and menu goes from appetizers, bar and entrees all in the Mall perimeter. The setting is pleasant and outdoor seating a plus.
google avatar

Tony B.

Yelp
Nice ambiance with good timely service.Easy to locate. The steak was cooked to perfection, but the mashed potatoes could have been softer and more than two spears of asparagus alongside that $50 steak would be appreciated.I would recommend to others for dinner.

Yelp
First time here. Went during HAPPY HOUR. We are happy with their service and food. We ordered two cocktails, one wine and 5 different happy hour food, Total cost $78...$90 including our tip...for 2 people. We will definitely come back. CHEERS!

Yelp
Food was excellent. Portions were generous. Service was good. Ambiance was satisfactory. (We had a booth) Exceeded my expectations. On my "A" list!

Yelp
Wife and I celebrated our 7th anniversary. Excellent service! Food was fantastic. Our server Abby was extremely polite and knowledgeable which made this experience worthwhile.

Debb L.

Yelp
The grilled artichoke w/Lemon Basil Remoulade was quite nice; Blackened Salmon over spinach and cilantro rice was the star of the show!!! The Ahi Bowl was decent enough - If you go for 'lunch it's worth checking your bill as our resv was for 2:30 and once we got the bill, the meal costs were a few $ higher as it appears the menu prices auto change on the bill to dinner rates. Our server got this changed when we asked - only a few dollars each item but interesting how that played out. Will return when in area for meals again !!

Yelp
Land ocean is a restaurant that can be an elegant evening or a casual experience. Located in the Gallaria mall (which has easy access to the restaurant s doors from the parking lot) the parking lot is crowded since it is on the mall even at a happy time frame. We were able to get a close spot so that was nice. We started in the bar with cocktails and a couple appetizers for happy hour and then into the steakhouse for dinner. You can eat dinner in the bar but we didn't have a table big enough for the 4 of us. In the main restaurant we had our steaks and they were good. Mine was a little overcooked but took it home and put some eggs with it another morning. The sea bass looked beautiful at another table and they said it was delicious. That was my serving choice but I opted for the steak. Overall I do love land ocean for a more upscale experience

Yelp
Service is very professional and friendly. Very tasty food and the ambience is somewhat relaxing, considering it's in the galleria mall.

Yelp
We went to dinner on Xmas eve, the food came up quickly however all of the food must have been pre-cooked the crab cakes were like rubber and the salmon smelled and was overcooked. The waiter did not check in with us at all until he presented the check and asked if we wanted anything else....... now I know they can do better it's a shame. Will not be going back anytime soon.

Yelp
Party of 5 dinner [Roseville CA] We got on the waitlist for a dinner reservation at 4:00p. Luckily, when we arrived the hostess was able to accommodate our party of 5 without waiting. For starters we chose Calamari and (2) orders of Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. Both were good. The rest of orders were the following: Spicy FIlet Mignon Stir Fry Macadamia Nut Crusted Chilean Sea Bass New York Strip Ribeye (2) I had one of those Ribeye steaks. Perfectly cooked to my liking. Mmm, mmm good! The 16-oz cut included mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms and grilled asparagus. Our server, Jake, did an amazing job taking care of our table! Never had to ask to refill our glasses of water... Desserts were equally delicious: Apple Crisp Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée Chocolate Lava Cake The ambiance was nice. Overall, our dinner experience was pleasant. Review #3461
