My first time here. I ordered the Turtle Dove coffee which I loved. It is a seasonal flavor. The Raw Bar sounded good. I thought it was going to be an item from the bakery. The photos show what it was. It was chalky and did not have much flavor. I would order coffee again but would forego the Raw Bar sounded

Nice coffee shopping. Parking is limited due to other near by shops. Plenty of inside and outside seating. Family games and self service water. Not baby or young child friendly as there are no high chairs. Does have a drive thru. Cinnamon roll was fresh. Best dish we had was an expresso bar

Top quality coffee, period. Blown away by the flavors in their beans. I’m into complexity (African) & earthy funk (se Asian) & this almost seems to embody both. I’m a huge nitro cold brew fan mainly bc I get the smoothness without the acidity & bitterness for a totally diff flavor profile in spite of no heat nor aroma. So we have Rwandan origin beans here which means complexity bc of the region’s soils with things like volcanic ash etc….idk if they alternate cold brews but currently they’re using the kivu lake (volcanic soil) with cherry, vanilla & floral lighter brighter notes; for sure got those, and the pure nitro (not N2O like some places) accentuates the heck out of that complexity and elevates it to a premium, world class bean, for sure top 3 of nitros I’ve ever tried. Almost got a hint of cinnamon & clove, for sure chocolate. I like to swash it around a bit in mouth to aerosolize & pull more notes, but I drink it fast to enjoy the nitro creaminess. Just insane good. And thankfully much closer to home than the other 2! Got the same complexity with the chemex and will hit the French press next time, tho it’s gonna be hard to top that ridiculous cold brew.

I only drink chai lattes. It’s DELICIOUS! I try chai everywhere and they are in my top 5 for Houston. The quiche, croissants and bakery are really good too. It’s a clean cozy indoor space with outside bistro tables. Clean bathroom

Good drinks with a fun seasonal drink selection. It had a cozy atmosphere but was very busy. Luckily, that didn’t seem to slow service down and they have outdoor seating too

Google
This coffee and bakery had a very calming and welcoming feel as soon as you step through. Service was very great and it complimented by the deliciousness of the food and exquisite taste of the coffee. I personally enjoyed the cinnamon roll and caramel late. This place is also perfect for studying and relaxing as they have soft chairs that you can sit on. Me and my friend had a great time being here.

Matthew took my order and he was very nice! Coffee is great. I ordered a caramel cappuccino and it was made to perfection. After my meeting outside I asked for a tray to bring our used mugs inside and the barista girl was getting me a tray when Matthew so graciously offered to do it. That extra kindness goes a long way and I really appreciated him. I had no idea this place baked cakes and cupcakes but all their pastries looked amazing. Definitely check this place out it’s always been one of my favorite little spots when I was working on my dissertation. I do recommend this place and I’ll be back.

Google
This coffee shop was really nice. The environment was peaceful and relaxing. I was surprised that the seating was ALL TAKEN on a Monday at 10am. But that’s what good coffee does. It brings people in! So if you’re in the area, and you’re a coffee lover like myself, give this place a try. I ordered the veggie quiche while my husband had the bacon quiche. We both ordered an Iced Latte with vanilla flavor. The taste was just right! 10/10 recommend

Yelp
Love this place. They have a huge selection so we can get anything to drink we'd like but also an amazing bakery. We found them at the cypress food and wine festival and absolutely loved their baked goods.

Yelp
I love a good coffee shop and this is a great one to meet a friend, study or read a book. It's quaint and welcoming. It is a popular shop so it can get crowded. I've noticed that evenings and mid day seem to be the busiest times, at least the times I've been. There is outdoor seating as well if you don't want to be stuck inside. The customer service is good more often than not. I can't say the service has ever been "bad," there just have been a few times I've gone and the employees were just dry and not welcoming. Coffee isn't bad but I have better other places. They have pretty good seasonal flavors so when I go, I usually choose a seasonal flavor over their regular menu choices. The only food I've ever had is a muffin so can't really speak on the food. Again, cute place for a meeting or study but it's not my top choice for coffee.

Yelp
A lovely way to start the morning. Although relatively busy, we didn't have to wait long for our drinks. I ordered the Fireside which had a comforting, wintry flavor. The toasted marshmallow effect was on point, it definitely makes you feel like you should be sitting beside a fire- such a fitting name. The brownie and chocolate chip cookie were a nice little treat and scored well with the kiddo. I wasn't entirely a fan of the ham & cheese croissant.. the croissant itself is good but unfortunately the ham was all pushed to one side. So, a lot of bites were just plain croissant. Didn't seem to have any cheese either? Otherwise, a cozy little place with a relaxing atmosphere. Would make for a cute coffee date.

Yelp
8.17.24 I met Yelper Pristine for coffee here. I have been here a hand full of times and I have yet to find my favorite drink. Don't get me wrong, they are not bad but for me not GREAT! They were extremely busy while we were there. I got the last table. I am not a fan of the parking lot. It is way too small for all the businesses that are at Towne Lake Boardwalk. I would stop here again and try another drink. Maybe a tea or something different.

Joyce T.

Yelp
Great location nearby to the lake, we enjoyed the walk after our morning coffee. We had the dark chocolate mocha. rose matcha, ham and cheese croissant, all were great. The service was awesome too. It's quite packed on Thursday morning and we had to wait a bit to get a table.

Yelp
Iced oat milk cinnamon latte was pretty good here! Someone grabbed it for me from pickup so I can't speak to the in store experience but overall a good iced coffee!

Lisa K ..

Yelp
This charming café is the perfect spot for anyone who loves to relax, work, or study. The atmosphere is cozy, and they offer a delightful selection of pastries and desserts. I tried the caramel vanilla latte, and it was excellent! The baristas were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for a productive or leisurely visit.

Eva C.

Yelp
I love coming here! The drinks are amazing and the vegan desserts are so good! The blueberry muffin is so moist, I keep attempting to make a copy cat but can't! The vegan and gluten free chocolate chip cookies are delicious too. The workers are always kind and friendly. I will definitely be back.

Jacob D.

Yelp
Plenty of fresh pastries but not plenty of seating. It's a busy spot so I won't knock it too hard for that. There's a drive through and the service is quick. I thought my drink was too sugary, wasn't aware that it was a blended frappe style drink, so my fault there. I might come back on a weekday when the weekend crowd isn't there.

Wendy Q.

Yelp
This coffee was not good. Little ice and it was warm. It had a burnt after taste. Sadly more expensive than Starbucks. This is literally a treat to myself as a busy mom and this was not it. I'm sad I spent my money here (insert sad face). This will be my last time in this establishment. No wait at the drive thru though!!

Santangelo G.

Yelp
Absolutely love this coffee shop. Very kind staff. Nice people :) A strong bold Dark Roast they brew here! Its delicious by itself! No cream or Sugar! They have been recently running out quickly to my understanding. But its worth the wait everytime! :) Nice layout of the cafe. They also have a nice Americano! Ill always come here when im in the area (Towne Lakes) Thank yall for the hot and fresh coffee ;) -Santangelo Balli Gonzales

Danny L.

Yelp
Good coffee, nice location, and fair amount of seating. So far I tried their hot latte and americano. Both were delightful. Though I'm not sure where they source their beans or if it's roasted locally, its good enough for me. They don't boast these qualities, so at the typical coffee shop price point, I don't care. The barista during our last trip here was friendly. I appreciated how she cared to show-off her five layer tulip latte art design. Sometimes it's a simple heart shape design, but I would assume that they are just busy with mass orders, not experienced, or not in the mood for a design. Overall, it's a decent coffee shop to visit if you are around the area. It can get a bit crowded, so seating may be limited.

Shannon V.

Yelp
This will forever be one of my favorites. Been going here for almost 10 years. Saturday mornings can be a little crowded, but not in a good kind of way. Coffee is always great. Especially love the cozy chairs by the fireplace. Their mission to support farmers and communities makes it all the better! They have several DO GOOD INITIATIVE PROJECTS from building a school to providing clean water.

Houda M.

Yelp
I like the cappuccino and the pastries are also delicious. It tends to get really busy due to the location.

Anokhy D.

Yelp
We went in for an afternoon pick-me-up over the weekend and it was packed with folks quietly enjoying their afternoon beverages. We got the French press with a medium roast (tasted like a dark roast, would not get again), a vanilla and cinnamon latte (very smooth, would get again), and a slice of the chocolate cake that was positioned like a trap at the entrance (and it was good! It didn't fall into the trap of looking good but tasting dry- the cake was moist even without help from the frosting).

Yelp
On a recent road trip to College Station, we needed some sustenance before hitting the road. I needed it in the form of caffeine mainly. My Yelp bestie Tiffany located this spot, and come to find out, I've had it bookmarked for awhile. It is located in the Boardwalk at Towne Lake. Parking is plentiful in this really nice shopping center. Walking in, I really liked the chill vibes this place had. There were a few families there as well as people on their laptops taking care of business. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I looked over the everyday menu and they had quite a few options to choose from. They have hot, cold and specialty coffee drinks along with tea and bottled drinks. I went with what looked like a seasonal drink called the Turtle Dove. I saw the word toffee and knew that was the drink for me. I requested mine with almond milk. This drink came out in a large coffee mug with a pretty design in the foam. The toffee flavor was very present but not overpowering. I could totally taste the great quality coffee as well. It wasn't too sweet which is how I like my coffee. I knew I needed some food in my system as well and noticed a plethora of baked goods. Come to find out, everything is freshly baked daily. They had cookies and pastries as well as made to order cakes. I'm a sucker for cinnamon rolls, so I had to get that when I saw it. They asked if I wanted it heated up which of course I did. The cinnamon roll was so soft and fluffy and the sweet cream cheese icing was the icing on the cake, no pun intended. I would come back for this alone. I've been finding myself in the Cypress area frequently recently, and if that trends continues, I will definitely be stopping in here more. I highly recommend this spot!

Yelp
My Yelp bff Justin and I were on our way to College Station and wanted to start the day off with a cup of joe and some breakfast. The place we were planning to go to didn't have many food options. After browsing Yelp, we came across this lovely café and decided to check it out. It is located at The Boardwalk at Towne Lake. The shopping center reminded me of The Woodlands Waterway. It's a very nice shopping complex. They have a decent amount of parking, but the lot near the entrance was almost full. We were greeted immediately by friendly staff. The display of bakery items looked so good and they're made from scratch. I ordered a Bacon Quiche and Turtle Dove Latte. Bacon Quiche - Very good and flavorful. It actually had quite a bit of spinach in it (which I love), but I thought they had given me the wrong quiche at first. There were a few pieces of bacon on top, but not any cooked inside the eggs. The eggs were light and fluffy and the crust was crispy. Turtle Dove - This is a toffee based latte; it was made with almond milk by request. This was really good and not overly sweet. It had just the right amount of foam and the leaf design in the foam was nice. I had a small bite of Justin's cinnamon roll and it was really good and incredibly sweet. The café is a nice size and they have plenty of tables outside. The store also has a drive thru and I noticed that it was constantly busy. The inside has a homey feel with a fire place and large chairs as well as tables and barstool seating. The décor really showcases their mission of Collaborative Trade with Rwandan farmers and emphasizes their Do Good Initiative Project. You can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and support a charitable cause!

Takenya C.

Yelp
A popular little spot in the Towne Lake Boardwalk that's not only great for their coffee but the breakfast and dessert menu is worth making your way thru, one treat at a time! I have been coming here for a few years now and as the area grows, so does their business. Is always full of dine in customers so if you're looking to stay a while, you have to come at the right time to snag a table, but they also have patio seating which for this time of year in Houston, works out ideal. Their staff members are sweet and quick service! All in all, this coffeehouse will continue to thrive in a community that continues to support them and well deserved. Menu suggestions: Lavender Honey Latte Also try their Quiche And ANY dessert they have- I have had their cookies, cake slices and dessert shooters.... you can't go wrong with any of their select choices.

Rod B.

Yelp
Sadie seems To be there most days. She has the most pleasant demeanor. Her personality is perfectly suited to he role as salesperson and barista. The coffee quality beats Starbucks and the neighborhood feel is inviting and less production feeling. Even better, Sadie remembers my name and my most common orders. Go, and I hope Sadie is there to greet you. It will feel like home ... with a few welcome guests.

Jeremy T.

Yelp
I've visited this very popular coffee shop, which is located in a prime spot, a few times now over the last few years since it opened, and really enjoy each visit. Their almond joy latte reminds me of one I used to order at a coffee shop in Montrose. They have a wide variety of bakery items here, more than your average coffee shop. They even have a few types of quiches. Service is always quick and friendly. Parking is sometimes a challenge, depending on when you arrive, that's the one drawback to coming here.

Ashley L.

Yelp
I've come here 2 separate times with my family and the staff along with the coffee/snacks were great! We sat inside and outside each time and enjoyed the vibe

Brandy P.

Yelp
This place was a great treat! The prices are reasonable and the coffee and dessert choices we good. It was a great place for my friend and I to catch up on old times.....

Earl A.

Yelp
I have been here a few times. It was suggested by a friend if mine that lives in this area. It is located in Towne lake center. It's a typical coffee shop type and they serve a variety of coffees and lattes and small bites to eat. I have had one of their lattes and they are huge as well as a cinnamon roll. They have free Wi-Fi and lots of people are there studying and working. I have worked there remotely for one of my visits and it pretty quiet almost reminds me of a library. There is also outside seating. It will be one of my go to places to work remote when I choose to do so.

Amna I.

Yelp
This is a cute coffee shop in Barker Cypress. The bakery section is delightful with a wonderful gingerbread man cookie I enjoyed during the winter season. However, I think the coffee is nothing special. Overall, it's a great place to study or hang out with some friends. I would only come back for the bakery.

Steve L.

Yelp
Land of Thousand Hills Coffee and Bakery Has been on my radar for a long time! Finally got to try it with four out of five of my kids after a F3 work out at The Crux. I immediately noticed that it was a warm and cozy inviting atmosphere with a Project Rwanda bike hanging on the wall, pictures of Rwandan farmers and kids, with coffee bean bags and other African themed decor. Some nice sitting chairs in the middle surrounded by plenty of tables and seats. Lots of people were studying, catching up on work, and enjoying a casual conversation but things were not overly loud. Usually the sight of me bringing in four kids is a sight, but no one hardly looked up. Ordered their famous cinnamon rolls that are made from scratch. Really good. while the cinnamon is not overpowering, the icing on top was infused nicely with the roll, and was satisfying and not overly sweet. The croissants and chocolate croissants were light, flaky, and airy with a satisfying soft crunchiness. The everything bagel was great, toasted a little too much in my opinion, but still something I would go to again. Their medium roast coffee was excellent. It tasted like a classic Rwandan coffee with some slight acidity and sourness at the end. Loved our visit!

Scott S.

Yelp
Nice coffee shop with good quality coffee and pastries. The help is courteous, friendly and efficient. The outside sitting has a very good ambiance for conversation or meeting someone.

Jade P.

Yelp
This place is perfect for a nice sweet snack or cup of coffee to brighten up your day. The employees are nice and are super patient with me as I look through their menu. I love getting an iced chai and reading my emails in there. It's peaceful and very refreshing to get away from home time to time. My husband works close by so I make a regular stop here when I have the urge for a tasty treat. Their Oat Meal raisin cookies are bangin'. They rotate their menu frequently so you never know what treats they have available! Love this place !!

Tiffany B.

Yelp
Coffee is not good! Tastes like gas station coffee that's been sitting out and I got a cortado. The chocolate croissant was hard and old. Come to use their wifi - but bring your own coffee/drink.

Shauna B.

Yelp
I meet with a group of ladies once a week. We enjoy lots of different drinks from coffee, tea, and seasonal items.

Krista K.

Yelp
Chai had a great flavor but was gritty at the end of it. Would visit again and try other options!

Shraddha B.

Yelp
Located at Boardwalk at Towne Lake Beautiful place to hangout over coffee and scones Definitely try lavender latte

Matthew P.

Yelp
I really enjoy going to local coffee shops and supporting them. The prices are fair and even better priced than big chain places. I was able to enjoy an iced honey bunny which is a cold honey and cinnamon latte. Really love the combo of flavors. The lattes can be hot or iced but only iced in the 16 oz size. I also decided to try the food here just because it helps the give a better review of the place. The bacon petite quiche was delicious. I use to get quiches at Panera but again why not support local business that offer more for the price. I know covid is still around but you would probably get your order quicker by going in. I went in a Sunday late morning and waited 30 min in drive thru, I get it it was a busy time and day. Worth the wait though!!

Cynthia V.

Yelp
Drove out here from the Heights area on a Sunday morning as part of my quest to try all the local coffee places in Houston. This shop is located in the Towne Lake area of Cypress within a sprawling shopping center with lots of great places to shop, eat, and drink. We got here around 9:30am so there was still easy parking and seating, but it definitely filled up by the time we left around 11am. I ordered their signature caramanilla iced latte; wish I had added an extra shot for more coffee taste, but it was still very tasty. I also enjoyed the peach muffin. I loved the variety in the drink and bakery menu and would certainly come back if I lived closer. The shop has a nice, spacious interior with lots of seating options. I also appreciated that they had long tables for solo-working with easily accessible plugs.

Sandy B.

Yelp
Melodie and Alicia were so helpful! Thank you so much! It was worth the hour drive to pick it up

Lauren P.

Yelp
Best cinnamon roll I've ever had! Their quiches are delicious too. Very beautiful pastries

Scott S.

Yelp
Top notch cold brew coffee. You'd be surpirised how many places get this wrong. Staff was super friendly, even in the early morning!

Robin p.

Yelp
Really nice atmosphere always busy plan extra time to park Great place to meet up for interviews or first contact

Yusra Q.

Yelp
Charging 50 cents for ice is wild. On top of the dollar charge for oat milk too. Good quiches tho.

Deborah N.

Yelp
Can't recall if I've reviewed LOATH already, but I was in the area for a holiday pop up market, and in limbo while waiting for my friend to arrive, I walked over to the coffee shop and ordered a Caramanilla + bacon quiche! Warm, friendly customer service too! Shop supports organizations that fight for human trafficking and child trafficking, so already I'm in line for what they stand for! Baked goods galore, festively decorated for the holidays, and yummy coffee. Cozy vibe, but while staff work masks and gloves, social distancing was not enforced at this coffee shop. They have a fireplace and you really feel like you're in someone's living room. This coffee shop really offers a variety of warm baked goods, desserts, coffee, and food...there's something for everyone! They have seasonal holiday drinks for those that are daring enough to try!

Tony H.

Yelp
Very nice espresso and cafe mocha. Pastries and dessert are great too (esp the Nutella parfait style dessert). Great staff too. Both indoor and outdoor seating as well. Parking can be a challenge at times. But well worth finding a spot. Plan B is their drive-thru if needed.

Shanna C.

Yelp
Bagels are yummy and I love their homemade cream cheese. I didn't enjoy the cold coffee, but still frequent for the bagels. It's a bit crowded inside during peak times so I try to go in between. Parking is also difficult. I wish they would use DoorDash or other delivery services as I would purchase more often if I could avoid the parking situation and crowds.

Bao Tram Q.

Yelp
Hands down my absolute favorite coffee shop of all time. My husband and I visited this morning and we both had bagels along with our coffee and he was blown away by how delicious (and beautiful!) everything was. Luckily it wasn't too busy this morning and we were able to get a table but usually it's pretty packed. Can't wait to be back!

Karen S.

Yelp
Loved the coffee and the service here. The Cortado was wonderful. Prices are fair and they were pretty busy for a week day with lots of people inside and on the patio. Parking was easy and there were a lot of tables to choose from with plenty of outlets if you need to plug in your devices.

Emily K.

Yelp
This is a coffee shop I will definitely come back to. Land Of A Thousand Hills (or as my friend calls it, LOTH) is a great place to come & chat, study, and/or have some delicious coffee. I ordered the raspberry mocha, and it was amazing! We also shared their Oreo cheesecake, which I would highly recommend. I already can't wait to try more of the coffees here!

Angelique G.

Yelp
Really cozy on the inside. Perfect place to sit down and read a book. Their bakery items are delicious and there's something for everyone. I tried an iced s'mores drink which I wasn't the biggest fan of, but still liked it. If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely return.

Grace L.

Yelp
It is a cute shop in a nice area which makes it busy. Sometimes it is hard to find seating. The coffee is pretty good. I haven't tried their bakery items.

David B.

Yelp
Service, Drinks and Atmosphere says 5 stars. They have a very diverse selection of coffee and are made with care. Pair that with the service and you have a winner.

Eryana S.

Yelp
I really enjoy the atmosphere here. I had their Honey Bunny Latte(honey cinnamon) and I really enjoyed the flavor. The bathroom was clean and they have a fireplace going which is really cool. It seems like a good place to study and sit for awhile. For their WiFi, you have to ask the cashier and they give you a receipt with a username and password and it lasts 2 hours. It's one device per receipt. Their staff was friendly and helpful. There were no complaints and they got our drinks out pretty quickly. There's also plenty of seating too. I would definitely come here on the regular.
