"Alain Ducasse’s divine Tuscan inn takes its name from the sweeping allée of umbrella pines and cypresses that lead to the entrance to this 1,200-acre estate. Twenty suites in the main villa, once the hunting lodge of Leopold II, the last grand duke of Tuscany, and 13 rooms in the connected fattoria (farmhouse) are designed with sponged apricot walls, Como silks, and voluptuous modern couches strewn with pillows; bathrooms are particularly luxurious. L’Andana also has an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool tub, a sensualist’s spa, a nine-hole golf course, and a Ducasse restaurant where the food is in the hands of his protégé Christophe Martin, whose sophisticated take on Tuscan cuisine makes the most of authentic ingredients and fresh seafood from the nearby Tyrrhenian coast."

This place offered an ideal Tuscan escape. It's surrounded by gorgeous countryside and is only a short drive to a sandy Mediterranean beach, where you can reserve chairs at the hotel's partner beach club. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. We spent a lot of time at their adults-only pool, which was quiet and had plenty of seats. I love to swim for exercise appreciated that the pool was long enough to do laps. The spa was very well-appointed with a sauna and a lot of different water experiences. We got couples massages, which were the best we ever had. Kudos to L'Andana for getting everything right!

I went with high expectations and they were met and surpassed. The location is glorious even if Google Sat Nav persists in taking you in the wrong entrance! We had a deluxe room in La Villa and it was glorious beautifully in keeping with the building. Elegant luxury. Bathroom was a dream. Lots to do, magnificent grounds, excellent spa and superb food. We didn’t get to eat in the Michelin Trattoria so definitely a reason to return. Car highly recommended to explore the area. A wine and olive oil estate. An aperitif and sunset in the Wine Shop terrace area highly recommended . This is 5 star luxury with a proportionate price tag but worth every penny

This Tuscan luxury hotel offers an unique scene of wineyard, livestock, golf, pools, and closeness to the sea (aprx 15 min by car). We stayed in a |Prestige Suite that was just incredible with two fire places, an extremely comfortable bed (very happy this the down duvet) and high quality mattress. Bathroom huge and very well equipped. The bathroom amenities was plentiful and of good quality. It was quiet and very peaceful, and staff were extremely polite and committed at all times. ||As I understand it; they have a new chef this year, and he did a marvelous job at supper. The beetroot carpaccio was the best I have ever had. And the main course and dessert was also lovely. Staff was impressive, recommending wine and paying attention to details. Likewise; the breakfast had a huge selections of everything sweet, cold cuts, high quality bread, mozzarella and even salmon. We had some issues with our car, when departing, and even then staff was very helpful. Many thanks!!

My wife and I had our honeymoon where with our nine-month old baby. I looked long and hard for a nice hotel that was kid-friendly in Tuscany, and this was the resort that kept popping up in searches, specifically the reviews.||The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Prior to our stay, the staff helped us book different experiences, including a day at their beach club, horseback riding, a couples massage (highly recommend this!), and a reservation at La Trattoria Enrico Bartolini, their Michelin star restaurant. We also booked babysitting for four of the days, which was an amazing break for my wife and I (€35/hour). ||We ate at their main restaurant La Villa for breakfast everyday, a lunch, and two room service meals. The breakfast was amazing. Staff were great and loved our baby. The breakfast spread had everything from freshly squeezed juices, fresh bread made onsite, a good mixture of hot and cold breakfast options, and great coffee. We looked forward to the breakfast everyday. The lunch and the room service meals were also great. They are a bit pricey, but the quality of ingredients and the portions are good. ||Lastly, this place is extremely baby/kid friendly. Upon request, they put a high chair and a baby bath in our room. They had high chairs at La Villa, and all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our baby. In the spa, they have heated pool that is open to babies and kids from 11:00-2:00 everyday. ||We highly recommend L'Andana and are looking forward to coming back again!

Not enough words to praise this amazing hotel. We were 3 nights, Definitely one of the best we stayed at. Amazing property that inspires you to relax at the highest level of luxury - from the perfect rooms and showers, to the surrounding vines and Olive trees. The service is top notch and friendly, also at the La Villa restaurant. We also took the Wine/Olive oil tasting which was great, with the Philosophy of the wine making process explained.

Hard to write this review as I really want to be positive about L’Andana as I was so excited to visit but our stay could have been improved in many aspects. ||To start with the positives, the hotel and its location is beautiful. The staff are all very friendly, accommodating and available when needed. The rooms are clean and well serviced. We had two adjoining suites in the new building which were very spacious for a family of four. The suites were linked by a dining room with a small kitchen area and fridge, which ended up being quite useful over the week. ||On the negative side, the hotel really didn’t offer what is expected of a five star hotel. The gym is extremely poorly equipped (lack of useable dumbbells, broken exercise bike, no bench, no chin up bar etc etc). ||The breakfast food was quite limited, the food to order was more or less the same as the buffet and fresh eggs to order was at extra cost.||There was very little food to order around the pool and no service offered by any of the pool staff. By way of example, we spent a whole day at the pool and watched staff sitting around doing absolutely nothing all day. If they had offered water and/or drinks we would have happily ordered some!!! I have never been to a hotel with no pool service and was astounded that the hotel management choose to miss this opportunity.||We used the driving range and the golf clubs available there but they were extremely old (think garage sale type golf clubs!) and the balls were so old they were almost unusually. The hotel website advertises there is a golf practice course to play but there simply is not. ||Sadly the whole place felt tired and unloved.
