First I will start with the food, I took the 5 courses menu, and I have to say it was boring, flavor was super plane, nothing special. They use some concepts of molecular kitchen which looks nice but when you taste it is just boring. All the sauces were super liquid (I am wondering if they now how to make one). The tartar was too strong the flavor I was thinking i would get sick, nothing really nice. The risotto had a lot of fish flavor but not a nice one, the ones that make you hate the fish. The only highlight was the Kaiserschmand, it was really good, but again the vanilla sauce was super liquid and it didn’t taste like real vanilla, more like artificial flavor.
Ahhh, and do not ask for wines, they don’t have any idea what to recommend.
And now the biggest issue, The service. What a horrible service, you can see they are annoyed of people. We made a reservation and it was ok they gave us a place. Some other people from our hotel, the Intercontinental Hotel, did reservation at the same hour but according to the restaurant it was one hour before, they try to show the proof of the reservation but they didn’t want it to see, the service people were very rude (all in front of us) and they gave them a place but the guests decided to go.
With us they were like: there is the meal and barely explained it. All the time with a bad face.
At the end was raining super heavy, and we asked if they could call us a taxi or something to go and their answer was they were to busy, when there was only 3 tables with people in the restaurant.
So nothing worth the 90€ per person in this restaurant.
