"The modern restaurant on the first floor of the Hotel Fährhaus is already a magnet for diners on account of its wonderful location. Take in the view of the Moselle as you tuck into French-Mediterranean cuisine with regional influences. There is also a vinotheque boasting very good wines." - Michelin Inspector

Great place to have refined food. Staff was friendly and welcoming, they had good knowledge about wine. Excellent non alcoholic options are available as well. The food was great and decently priced. We had a great evening here.

I ordered boring chicken, but the kitchen staff are wizards so it was marvellous. The gentleman behind the bar is absolutely fantastic (willing to try new cocktails). The whole team was a real pleasure to encounter.

In this five week trip we stayed in 21 hotels in 21 different places, and along with the Hotel Des Indes in Den Hague and Martin’s Klooster in Leuven, this was our favorite. A modern building right on the Moselle River on the opposite bank of Koblenz. We had the Augusta Suite on the top floor with a lovely view of the Moselle from our large balcony. The suite is large and beautiful with a spacious living room, dining room, bedroom and two bathrooms, all beautifully appointed . Lying on the king size bed I spotted a trapdoor in the ceiling in front of the bed and wondered if it was a TV, and sure enough found a button, the trapdoor slowly revolved down and a large TV slid down - ingenious these Germans! There are also two huge TV’s in the living and dining rooms. We had a delicious dinner on the patio by the river and at a very reasonable price given the quality of this place. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, not just in variety but quality and our fried eggs were the absolute best we have ever had anywhere. The staff everywhere are great and so well trained. Our only regret was that we stayed just two nights as we had a reservation in another town.

Great hotel in a nice quiet city. The rooms were incredibly quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great and the amenities were perfect. Breakfast was wonderful. Easy access to the Mosel and Rhine Valleys.Worth every Euro.

The hotel is modern and of very high standards. It is in a great location on the Mosel but within walking distance of the city centre and the "Deutsche Eck", the confluene of Rhein and Mosal. |The staff is very helpful and speaks English well. |The hotel facilities (e.g., gym) and the Landgang restaurant are excellent.

Wonderful boutique hotel right at the Mosel River and close to some lovely little river marinas. Super friendly check in, comfortable room (except for the “bathtub shower” :-)). Excellent restaurant and an amazing indoor pool and spa area with a “panorama sauna” overlooking the neighborhood, a great steam room. It’s a little outside of Koblenz proper, but with good weather, one can have a great hike down to the Deutsches Eck and downtown. Really enjoyable stay.

I would not rate this hotel as 5*. Following the request on the hotel website, I did not place a bad review but wrote to the hotel with my observations. The e mail has not even been acknowledged. Essentially there were issues with cleaning, room maintenance, service in the restaurant at both breakfast and dinner and the balcony, for which we had paid a considerable premium gave us a view of the 1960s road bridge over the river (which the hotel could not help) and straight into the textile free sauna - which it could.||This appeared to be a case of style over substance.||Be warned that the hotel restaurant is the only option to eat and for the one night we ate at the hotel was disappointing with a bill of €200. The old town of Koblenz is a taxi ride or a walk which takes almost an hour.

Not a review to the location, which we never got to see btw, but to the lack of humanity of the management in this hotel. I booked a relaxing time for my family for the first weekend of April , paid in advance - non refundable in case of cancellation . Little did I know at the time that life would take a bad turn and my husband would fell seriously ill . I called the hotel weeks before the planned trip, explained the situation and incapacity of traveling , and asked not for a refund but for a voucher at least that we could hopefully use in the future . Of course the only answer I received was that, though you feel sorry for us, rules are rules. When booking a hotel, I understand very well what not refundable rules are, but I also understand that on a human level we should try to be nicer with each other. Throwing away 700 euros is quite a big deal I guess for everyone .So dear hotel management, I’m not here to ask for anything, just to wish that in a similar situation you would find nice people that would treat you kindly. Thank you!

Produced five events on our current tour of our make-over-event Princess for one day there. Great location and amazing staff - highly recommended for any kind of function.
