We stayed here while cycling the Danube Bike Trail and were very pleased with our choice, the only downside being that we had to leave the bike path and cycle about 5 km back to get to the Gasthof; the upside to that being that we stayed in a quiet, rural setting in a cute little community that we would not otherwise have seen AND we ate an excellent meal in the hotel dining room that evening. ||Our room (room #3) was upstairs (no elevator) looking out to the railway station (though we never saw or heard a train) and was clean, very spacious - a bedroom, a sitting room with small private deck, and small ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower (see photos). Furnishings were traditional with beautiful woodworking detail in the beams and armoire; pine floor and bed. Breakfast was not included but we ate there anyway (12 euros each); table service - the usual Austrian breakfast of cold meat/cheese slices, sliced veggies, fresh bread, boiled egg and coffee (see photos). I will review the restaurant separately but suffice it to say that the dinner we had at this Gasthof was amazing both in the creative way it was served, and the excellence of the food and service!||Inside secure bicycle storage provided, lots of parking if you're driving, wifi, both indoor and outdoor dining areas, good staff.||Recommended! (but be aware that if you are cycling this Gasthof is not adjacent to the bike trail).
