A very nice place with a friendly and helpful family owning the place. We stayed in a very nice and clean room with a double bed, a bed for a 6 year old and a baby bed. The kids loved the room, the food, the breakfast (with hot coco for the kids) and the atmosphere. A very nice and quit place in beautiful surroundings. Our warmest recommondations.

Family owned business giving a feeling of long lazy afternoons in granny’s house. Interior fitting described vibe; friendly and well organize service team. Food is very traditional and may be perceived as a bit heavy, however, it is definitely worth a try, especially dishes coming from the region: Käsespätzle (cheese noodles), Hirschgulasche (deer stew) and Forelle (trout).

What a lovely location in the Black Forest region of Germany. I have visited this location for almost 30 years. Family has stayed in the family-run hotel and I have eaten at the restaurant too many times to count. The Pfefferlinge are always great and the homemade dressing for the salad is good too. A great location for family parties!

The hotel is located in Breitenfeld, a village about ten minutes outside of Waldshut-Tiengen, and has the charms of a Black Forrest place. My room was small, basic, dated but clean. Bathroom was new. Very friendly service. Good choice for one or two nights to visit the area, e.g. for hiking.
