"With its cosy yet elegant interior and charming terrace, the restaurant blends wonderfully into the picture-perfect scene of the estate, which stands against the romantic backdrop of the River Jagst. The light hues of the wood panelling, the tiled stove and pretty fabrics all contribute to the inviting atmosphere. The food draws on international influences, with subtle Asian touches here and there. Dine à la carte or opt for the set menu (omnivore or vegetarian). Alternatively, the pleasant Mühlenscheune serves regional cuisine. There are also lovely guestrooms." - Michelin Inspector

Booked on same day for a business trip. Room was very nice and clean. Restaurant with good and tasty food. Exactly what you expect from a 4 star hotel. Recommended.

Generous investment by nearby entrepreneur makes this great venue possible! Food is excellent, wine selection not wide but correct (try the southern French) and fairly priced. Breakfast sumptuous! Nice outside tables, both morning and evening. Great rooms. Service very friendly, maybe not at high professional level of kitchen but makes it |up with charm.

we had a two night stay with our 9 year old grandson whilst visiting the area. everything at the hotel was excellant. the staff very efficient and courteous from the moment we arrived, our room for three was luxuriously furnished and very large and also very clean. the breakfast was very substantial with a vast choice, the food at dinner was excellant and reasonably priced, as vegetarians we had no problems. the hotel is set in beautiful surroundings with a river at the edge of the grounds. we would recommend this hotel and if we are in the area again we would not hesitate to use it again.

Location for a very nice dinner. You can choose between 4, 5, 6 or 7 courses or select everything by your own out of starters, main courses and deserts. We tasted the menu with four courses and it was very delicious. The price level is a little bit higher but it is definitely worth it and you go there for special occasions. You better should place a reservation.

A very pleasant regional food specialising restaurant. Good seating indoors and outside. There's an adjacent large grassed area for children to play on. They offer high quality local beers from a brewery close by. They also have good regional wines and a wide range of schnapps too. The bedrooms are of a very high standard. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast is a wide variety of meats and cheeses with some prepared to order options like scrambles eggs as well. The breads are many, varied and very fresh. The selection of teas are excellent. The room I stayed in did not appear to have in-the-room tea or coffee making which I like to have as I need caffeine to get going when I'm working early.

I had the distinct pleasure to be invited for an 8 course New Year's Eve dinner just about a week ago and I am still savoring the individual plates. Not sure how many people were there, but the restaurant seemed to be full. The decoration and place settings were immaculate and the servers were beyond reproach, always friendly and helpful, quick but not hectic. With lovely intervals between courses they showed up with beautifully decorated plates, everybody got the same sequence of dishes, and every other course the wine changed. Additional silver ware was replenished quietly and elegantly - while a very dedicated piano player entertained both sections of the restaurant with well-played songs and hits from the 20th century. The food was very nicely presented and absolutely delicious. Champagne was poured 20 minutes before midnight, and distributed in a timely manner so everyone had a glass in hand when the hands of the clocks met for a handshake at 12:00 midnight. A small but effective fireworks was burnt off across the little river and thus 2018 began with a spectacular event.

This place is awesome. Staff: Really great and forthcoming. Location: Stunning, especially outside. Serene, rural surroundings, great for taking a walk or bike ride. Food: Nothing but delicious. Never been disappointed here. Go for starters and desserts (if you still can).

At first sight, Landgasthof Jagstmuhle seems far, far away from the real world, an enchanted place in a beautiful setting. But when you look closer, you find that many places - like Schwabisch-Hall or Rotenburg-ob-der-Tauber - are quite close. And, of course, there are numerous hiking and biking options - or you can just relax in the garden, which is almost a park on the banks of the Jagst.||||The hotel is beautiful, the staff more than friendly, the rooms are nice and well-appointed. We stayed in the Jagsthutte, which offers slightly larger apartments (about 80 m from the main building) and found this a very relaxing place.||||The highlight of this 'Gasthof' is its restaurant, which is not to be missed. The two chefs create great food at reasonable prices. The menu is not too long, but whatever we tried during our three-night stay was excellent, from simple regional dishes to fine cuisine. And make sure you leave some space for dessert. It's worth it. ||||The only 'weak' aspect we found was the (free) Wifi. It was poor to non-existent in the apartment, but quite good in the lobby.
