"Classic country elegance and a setting radiating natural charm await you at this stunning estate. Inside, the wooden beams, terracotta floor and crackling fire create a special atmosphere. Regional ingredients come into their own in indulgent dishes. The tasting menu is outstanding, but the à la carte options – such as the classic tournedos Rossini – are equally tempting. For example, chef Berry Thuss serves a terrine of succulent short rib and white leek, with crispy asparagus tempura, al dente vegetables and an onion dressing. Definitely worth the journey!" - Michelin Inspector

Dear Langoed De Holtweijde, Thank you for a wonderful stay. This was our first time staying with you, and we chose the Panorama Suite — we were absolutely delighted. The staff were extremely kind, especially the older lady in the restaurant during breakfast. Please pass on our warmest greetings to her from the Novak family. Everything was clean, peaceful, and beautifully designed. The pool and sauna — everything was simply perfect. On our last day, I enjoyed a massage, and I honestly don’t know if I have ever experienced such a beautiful setting, atmosphere, and such kindness from a massage therapist. Breakfast was abundant, with everything freshly prepared. We would gladly return in another season. This stay, surrounded by snow, pine trees, and lights, was truly magical. We wholeheartedly recommend you.

Wonderful experience with the family, and the dinners were excellent - luxury and great service with delicious menus and great wines. The pool is also good and everything is kid friendly. Rooms and service are okay and could be improved a little. We had a duplex house as well as a junior suite in the main building. They are all a bit dated, not terrible, but could be refreshed. Although the showers and bathrooms were modernized. We were not a fan of the duplex house as they are really two separate apartments that share one entranceway. I think that is good for two couples but as a family, it felt a little bit odd to be separated like that. I would’ve preferred to have been recommended two suites in the main building which is also a lot more convenient for the pool and spa. Although perhaps for a real Dutch family, the duplex houses are a good set up. Also, the people in reception were nice although I wouldn’t say they go over and beyond to help, I just think they’re a little bit too busy and rushed. No complaints, but perhaps for this pricing it could be elevated a little bit. I highly recommend staying there though very charming.

Beautiful location, comfortable rooms but very disappointing service Landgoed De Holtweijde is undeniably set in a beautiful and serene location. The grounds are stunning, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are also very well presented spacious, clean, and with a warm rustic charm that makes you feel like you’re in a private retreat. Comfort and atmosphere-wise, the hotel certainly lives up to its reputation. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the service. The staff were consistently unhelpful, inattentive, and at times outright rude. For a property of this level, one would expect professionalism, courtesy, and hospitality. Instead, interactions felt cold and dismissive, which left a lasting negative impression. Simple requests seemed like a burden to the employees, and there was a lack of the welcoming spirit you’d hope to find in such a beautiful countryside estate. In short: the location and rooms are excellent, but the poor service and rudeness of the staff overshadowed the experience. Unless the management takes serious steps to improve their hospitality standards, it’s hard to recommend this hotel despite its wonderful setting.

We stayed here in August to celebrate our engagement, but the experience was ruined by the restaurant staff. What should have been a special dinner turned into a very upsetting evening due to a waiter’s arrogant and dismissive attitude. His remarks made us feel belittled and so uncomfortable that we couldn’t relax, slept poorly, and just wanted to leave as soon as possible. Although the receptionist was kind, management later dismissed our concerns instead of taking responsibility. We left distressed and disappointed, with none of the joy we had hoped to celebrate.

Family vacation with wife (heavily pregnant) and 6-year-old daughter. Great place, great landscape, great vibe overall. Nice facilities (sauna and swimming pool we visited almost daily). Warm service

Beautiful location for a relax weekend. The room was really nice, the restaurant cozy but chic, and delicious food 😊 tip: always check the chef’s menu, there are some great options. And the sauna was perfect, about service, I find it ok, however more hospitality is always welcome 🤗

We’ve filed a complaint but heard nothing back. We have a whole list of complaints but these focus on two main points: staff and paid extras. Firstly, the staff working on the reception desk are neither friendly nor informative. Without giving a full explanation of our complaints I will highlight a few. Upon arrival we were asked if we would like to use the sauna, it was never explained that this costs extra for guests or how the experience would work. During our meal we were given the option of fries and vegetables with our main. Again without explanation that this costs additional on top of the set menu. Although it’s not much of a meal with potatoes or vegetables. When going to use the sauna we were stopped by staff from taking fresh robes as ours were wet from the previous day. No additional option was given just the option of walking 10 minutes back to the room to get our wet robes. These are small inconveniences and wouldn’t be a problem at a lower quality hotel, however for €375 per night I expect more attentive and informative staff. Instead walking through reception was like disturbing a group gossiping teenagers who had little concern for their work. I can only imagine that the hotel struggles for quality staff due to location, but I would aim to improve this.

We had a fantastic time celebrating our wedding anniversary at the Bosuil. Will definitely be making this our yearly tradition from now on.
