Landgoed De Wilmersberg

An excellent place to stay and recharge, even if over a short and hectic business trip. We arrived rather late for check-in (9:30 in the evening), after the hotel kitchen was closed, but the lady in reception found a place for us to have something for dinner in town. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, all that was needed for a short stay. Breakfast was excellent, both in terms of quality and quantity of all that was on offer. The hotel grounds are beautiful, conducive to relaxation - wished we could have stayed longer!

Very cozy. Quiet relaxing area for some walks in natural park /,forest. In the middle of … nowhere, but suitable location for my business destination. I felt really good and relaxed there. Located 1.5 km from main road in the forest / country side area. Nice place for relax and cool down after busy day. Good small swimming pool, sauna and some more relaxing spa facilities. Tasty breakfast and delicious dinner. Very friendly personnel. Menu in the restaurant changes every day with various meat and fish main course each day. I recommend it for the weekend or business trips or for the romantic evening. I took a small room as was travelling alone

A very nice and cosy hotel. Located in an amazing area with lots of hiking trails, nearby restaurants. We have been to this hotel 3 times, and each time was more pleasant than the visit before. The room/suite is very roomy and comfortable, with a dining area, a huge bath tub and a very comfortable bed. A nice french door facing a beautiful garden.

I know of few places in the Netherlands that are better for a weekend of relaxation, luxury and long walks.|The countryside is beautiful and the hotel itself is a perfect mix of luxury and a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Oh.. and don't skip the breakfast. It's great!

very friendly staff, fantastic kitchen with many vegan breakfast, lunch and dinner options, very nice wellness area with Finnish, Turkish and infrared saunas, clean rooms with nice beds and great surrounding area full of nature for nice walks.

We spend 3 nights in the hotel and had a lovely stay.|The hotel staff is very friendly and really supportive. From the reception to the staff at the bar, the restaurant, lounge and the housekeeping staff, they were always friendly and I really felt we could ask them anything. Quick example: we were missing 1 type of pillow in the room, asked reception and 30 mins later the housekeeping staff brought the pillow to the room. All with a big smile.|The food in the restaurant and the lounge is good and the prices are what is to be expected from a hotel restaurant/ lounge. (3-course dinner with drinks was €150 for 2).|We loved the fact that in the morning there was a small paper on the breakfast table highlighting an excursion you could do. We did 2 of those and they were really nice (visit of the Arbotreum and a bike tour).|Now, we were unlucky with the weather, but that is nothing the hotel can change, so we also enjoyed the pool (it is small, but nice to take a dip) and their sauna area (which we really liked).|All in all, we had a lovely time and we really appreciate how friendly the staff was and we felt taken care of.|Price / Quality, we recommend De wilmersberg.

We spent (unfortunately) only one night at De Wilmersberg. It was a perfect beautiful spot in the Dutch countryside. We loved riding bikes in the area and especially the walking paths around the property. In the evening we had an excellent dinner at the restaurant. We would love to come back some time for a longer period. The area is just beautiful for exploring.

Great hiking spots and cycling spots. You cal also just stay inside and make use of the sauna, pool and Spa. Food was also very good. Also close to Oldenzaal which is a fun little town with little shops and good restaurants. ||The staff is friendly and very helpful.
