"Manuela and Franz Feckl are truly exemplary hosts. They have been running their establishment since 1985 and their dedication is plain to see – not least in the kitchen. The dishes display a sure touch and stand out for their premium ingredients and first-rate technical skill. Choose from "Franz Feckl's classics" or from various set menus, including a low-carb and a vegetarian version. The reasonably priced lunchtime menu is also popular. Be sure to try the handmade spaetzle! Wine lovers will appreciate the good selection here, which features one or two rarities. The elegant country-house style makes for an appealing atmosphere on the restaurant floor, which has cosy seating niches – from the window seats you can look out over the fields. The friendly lady of the house also oversees the front-of-house team. There are pretty guestrooms for overnight stays." - Michelin Inspector

The Landhaus is a basic hotel well positioned for nearby business parks. The staff are friendly and restaurant looks good. Breakfast is decent. WiFi free and fast.||The hotel is not really ideal for business travellers. No safe, no ironing board/iron in room, no fitness center, and room service restricted or often not available. No receptionist or food available when arriving late. ||Lack of basic luxuries too. For example, if I’m in a double room, please give me a double duvet and not a small single. Similarly, give me two towels so I can shower using a dry towel both before and after work. Not a lot to ask.

We booked this as a handy stop travelling north. Although in a quiet rural area, it is handy for the autobahn. Comfortable family room, quiet. The shower was over the bath, a little awkward to access. ||||We hadn’t realised that the restaurant was Michelin rated, but we were wowed by dinner. A fantastic steak meal and Schwabian noodles for the children. Breakfast was in a smaller, more intimate room. ||||The waiting staff and reception staff could not do enough for us. They were friendly, helpful and very polite. ||||Overall this hotel is a golden nugget and is somewhere we would definitely stop at again next time. There is even a free mini bar in the room. ||||Definitely recommend this as a comfortable stop off.

Landhaus Feckl has a Michelin star restaurant that has an excellent lunch menu, which is great for entertaining/impressing business guests. The food is excellent, but not pretentious, and it is pretty clear why the Michelin guide recommends it. The restaurant also offers a good wine list to complement the dishes. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and speak good English. The food arrived on time, and the service was quick and unobtrusive. The environment is quiet, so it's easy to carry on a discussion over lunch. Guests currently need to provide proof of vaccination or convalescence, or a negative Covid test. The restaurant accepts the Luca app or the printed certificate of vaccination. Overall - an excellent place for a nice business lunch.

A friend recommended Landhaus Feckl to me a few years ago in the pre-COVID era. I had forgotten about it until my wife recently mentioned it as we were looking for a place to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. She could not have picked out a better place. It is easy to understand why it is Michelin rated. We started with a delicious Affaltrach Sauvignon Blanc. While sipping our wine, the waitress brought out the amuse-bouche, which consisted of a taste of spiced beef in aspic, an amazingly tasty sausage with potatoes, and a curry mousse. Both of us ordered the lobster bisque as an appetizer. I selected one of their mainstays, which was a large portion of onion roast in a brown gravy. My meal came with fried potatoes with pieces of bacon and an awesome salad. My wife ordered the special of the day, which was a steinbutt fillet. I looked this up as I was not familiar with this fish. It is a flat fish in the turbot family. Her fish came with a perfect paprika sauce. She also had beautiful Chanterelle mushrooms and vegetables. The table setting was decorated nicely, making for a very romantic belated anniversary dinner. The service was awesome in every regard. We were too full for dessert, but we did welcome the little tray of sweets as we finished up our wine. We will be back!

This review is only about the lunch dining experience. Great flavor, attentiveness, and generous portions. I would certainly go back!

Yelp
Warm welcome. Very friendly and caring staff. The lunch menu is only €40. That's pretty much everything you could ask for. In addition to that the interior is really nice, it's called "Landhaus", so if you expect a stylish, hipster place, you'll probably be disappointed. We had very good amuse bouches. Followed by a salad with a variety of fish, veggie, and meat tasters. After that we enjoyed the main courses. Venison with mushrooms and pretztel dumpling, and fish with vegetables and tagliatelle. Both dishes were amazing! Really amazing! The desert was nice. Cake, chocolate creme brulee, sorbet, and so on. We finished our meal with espresso and miniature cakes. This place has it all. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good prices, and VERY GOOD FOOD!!!

Yelp
If you're staying in the Boeblingen area then this is the very best place to stay and to eat. Its a beautiful little family run hotel and restaurant but the restaurant doesn't open on Sundays and there's not a lot of alternatives nearby. This hotel is all about the restaurant which has a Michelin star. Its not cheap but its always a fantastic gastronomic adventure. I just love eating here and taking lots of time to savour the amazing flavours and presentation. I like the service too - they give you plenty of time to enjoy each course and there's always a plentiful supply of their speciality breads. When the hotel is full, then you will be put in the appartments about a half mile away. The appartments are very nice, very comfortable but they don't have air conditioning and so I would recommend that you avoid them during the summer months. Always check you reservation to see which you are in. Definitely recommended for a special occasion or even just to make an ordinary occasion special.

Yelp
I cannot say enough amazing things about this restaurant. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly. There are price-fix options if you don't wish to spend 100€ on a full menu meal. They offer a full selection of wines from white to rose to red and everything in between. The waitresses are more than happy to recommend entrees and appetizers. They are incredibly attentive. Be sure to make reservations as the restaurant is attached to the hotel and can get very busy!

Yelp
Amazingly delish. y husband had the venison ravioli dish. (That is not the proper name, just what I can describe it as. I do not like venison and this stuff was delectable. Nice for a date night.
