Landhaus Severin*s Morsum Kliff (Sylt, Schleswig-Holstein) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Surrounded by the Morsum Kliff nature reserve, Landhaus Severin*s remote location means peaceful relaxation mixed with outstanding views. From the hotel’s terrace you can see clear out to the Wadden Sea. Needless to say, the location here is pretty tough to beat, but it’s more than matched by the interior design of this traditional thatched house, which is modern and tasteful with a touch of nautical Nordic." - Tablet Hotels

We went here for dinner on the recommendation of local friends. The staff were fantastic and the food was excellent.||The hotel is picturesque, set in it's own grounds a few minutes walk from the dunes and the sea.||If we ever come to Sylt again, this is where we'll be.

We enjoyed a fantastic lunch. Staff very friendly. Even dogs are very welcome- they even have a possibility to shower ur dog and/or shoes and on top towels for the dog. The place is quiet and the food just fantastic. Anytime again. Thank you!

I can’t find enough words to describe this place. Special? For sure. Relaxing? Absolutely. Cozy? No doubt. ||We decided to book a room in this small hotel in the countryside because we liked the feeling of “secludedness and green” , but you would love this place even if you are not a nature lover. The view is breathtaking, including the walk to Morsum Kliff! The island rabbits also seem to appreciate the fields in this part of Sylt! We even saw a few pheasants! The island main attractions can all be easily and quickly reached by car. We visited Sylt in March, when there is no traffic. However we heard that during the summer months the situation is different, so keep this in mind. You have plenty of parking possibilities directly at the hotel and at the nearby Morsum Kliff car park.||The staff is very polite and helpful. The rooms are delightful and very clean. You might think they are small, but in fact there is more than enough space and everything has been wonderfully organized and planned. The bathroom is absolutely a dream!||The only negative point for us was the bed, which would be quite comfortable if it wasn’t for the “valley-shaped” mattresses. This was compensated by the silence of the night, absolutely no noise!||For breakfast you have a fixed menu, a rich buffet and also the possibility to order some dishes à la carte (like eggs, etc.). A good start into the new day!||We also had dinner once. The choice is not huge, which is sometimes positives, and the food was good, although I wouldn’t say exceptional.

Landhaus Severin's i nicely located on a peaceful spot on the island. The food was very delicious and you can start your trekking tours from there. Loved the "Reet" straw roof which is typical for the island.

The style of the building is what you expect when you go to Sylt for vacation. The place where it is and the view is pure Sylt. The team, the restaurant and the menu is meeting all your expections even if you have eaten in the best restaurants of Sylt already. The hotel has a SPA and you can expect that this would be the perfect place for a wedding even in case the weather would not be that perfect on this special day.

The cliff at Morsum is a must see and do when on the island of Sylt. The path along the bottom of the cliff is beautiful and not strenuous. You can reward yourself with a nice meal or coffee and cake at the restaurant Severin’s Landhaus. We found it all a terrific experience.

Right in the middle of a nature reserve surrounded by fascinating burial mounds, rabbits. Dog friendly. Pristine facilities. Can’t wait to be back.

Sort of luxury in the country side. Good food, friendly service, fair pricing.
