We booked to come to the restaurant as the reviews were excellent and the menu sounded wholesome with local, seasonal produce. I was cautious as I don't eat meat and the speciality is sausage.... we were not disappointed though.
The food was excellent, asparagus was delicious and plentiful for starters and my husband had sausages with sauerkraut and potatoes which were apparently delicious, whilst I had salmon trout with rosemary potatoes and salad- cooked and seasoned to perfection. All finished with a honey creme brule and local ice cream and home made liquor. The wine was from their vineyard and we also bought some of their honey to take with us.... we will be back. Fantastic food, wonderful service and good value,
