Landhotel Hirschen

The Hirschen is a well-known secret among locals. It's the best place in the area for fine dining in a relaxed, rural atmosphere. The quality of the food is outstanding, and even surpassed by the extensive wine cellar. All rooms in the hotel are wine-themed and there is even a self-service wine bar. The owners and all employees were very friendly, accommodating, and professional. There is a separate building for seminars.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here . Specially Nadine and Noah took care of us very well. They are still young however they provided us such a professional way and amazing service. We really feel impressed and absolutely we will come here again.

I just spent 10 days working near Erlinsbach on an implementation. The folks at the Hirschen were wonderful. I'm not mentioning names because they were all great, including the owners who, on a busy night, were working hard in the restaurant. The grounds are beautiful, and the ambiance is charming and unrushed. Our colleagues who were staying at other hotels had heard from our local team members and insisted we eat at the Hirschen for many breakfasts and dinners. The food quality and service were never a disappointment. Though the scales will groan when I get back, but I would do it again. As a frequent business traveler, I see a plethora of hotels. The Hirschen is one of my favorites that would do equally well for pleasure trips. I recommend it without hesitation.

After 3 year living in Erlinsbach we finally got to visit this resturant. Thank you Vanessa and the other staff who made our visit on our 3rd Hochzeitstag a evening to remember. We had a family event for 24 with the majority staying in the hotel. The hotel is split into two sections, the renovated part (2016) being over a small road, but it is entirely self sufficient except for the breakfast room which is in the original building ( also very well appointed, light and airy but also cozy).|My parents are both mobility challenged , one with crutches, the other a rollator. As soon as they checked in the owner and his wife came to offer a wheelchair for the duration of our stay. Their room was also changed to a larger one with walk in shower.|Dinner was superb - the Chef is also the owner, and it was obvious his staff enjoy their work as nothing was too much trouble for them. |The rooms were modern, seminar type as the renovated side is used for this purpose too.. Spotlessly clean, good internet, super comfy beds, safe, tv, no phones but a bottle of water by the bed. There is no minibar but a very comfortable seating area downstairs with snacks and wine. Each room is decorated on a wine theme, and if you feel like it, you can also sign the walls! Very cool.|I would suggest kettles in the rooms though. However I did ask for one.|All in all a lovely stay and if you need a place for seminars or private events I would definitely recommend it.

We had an excellent, if somewhat expensive meal. The food is beautifully presented and the service is first class.

Great Restaurant/Hotel! It is clean, spacious, tastefully decorated. Wonderful for wine enthusiasts. The main purpose of this hotel are events. They have several meeting rooms for big company events or small family gatherings. The restaurant offers great local and seasonal food, with spectacular presentation. The staff and management are very friendly, come around, shake your hand and make sure you are comfortable. In the "lobby" they have several tables and chairs for guests, where they also offer several self service wines by the glass with purchase of a wine card. The price of the overnight stays are reasonable and parking is free. If you are not Swiss, you might find it a little difficult to find, but just follow your GPS, because it is well worth your stay.

Had dinner in the restaurant. Simply magnificent with excellent service and perfect timing. This restaurant has a TOP reputation which is well deserved.
