Landhotel Weißes Roß

Here is my honest review of my 2 night stay at the White Horse: The entire staff was so accommodating and pleasant. I found all common areas and my room to be clean and well managed. My room was spacious and the bed/bedding was comfortable. I arrived early and lunched outside with a glass of Elisa Cuvée and the most delicious asparagus soup. I was able to sunbathe on the grassy lawn for a quiet afternoon. The afternoon snack was buffet style including salad with many toppings and accoutrements and a variety of desserts. Both of the four course meals for dinner were absolutely divine (the best meals I’ve had in a long time) and the wine selection was great! The large pool is warm and leads outside. There are ample areas to lounge outside and in. I received the lifting facial and it left me feeling rejuvenated. I enjoyed the variety of saunas. I wish the weekend weather was better because I definitely would have utilized the free bike rental and go about the town. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would go back! Some things to consider: -I would have loved having a coffee machine inside the room as breakfast doesn’t start until 8 on the weekends and I’m an early riser. -I’m unsure why you have to pay for water at afternoon snack and dinner, but it is free in the spa area. -I wish the sauna area had the same opening hours as the pool. Also, adding a cold plunge and hot tub (that’s free) to the wellness area would be nice.

They have set a new bar for every hotel I visit from now on. The cook here is off-the-chain! They're doing everything right. Well decorated, excellent kitchen and a well stocked bar. This is the kind of place I would come spend the weekend with my wife just for fun.

Our daughter's wedding was held at this hotel in early September 2015. It was outstanding in all respects. The food they served at the reception was extremely high quality and the presentation was impeccable. If you are a foodie and get the chance, ask to take a tour of the kitchen. It will blow you away. ||||The service was unmatched. The family who owns the hotel made the hotel feel like our home during the entire weekend. They made all of our guests feel welcomed and comfortable. ||||The rooms are sizable, modern and very comfortable. ||||The prices for accommodations, food, etc. are amazingly reasonable. ||||The wedding service in the garden was beautiful, with a high level of attention to ALL of the details. ||||I can't say enough good things about this facility, the family who owns it, and the experience they create. It couldn't have been better. ||||When you stay, make sure you experience the breakfast!||||WOW. WE'LL DEFINITELY BE BACK.

This hotel is really exceptional. Although the hotel consists of several old buildings and a very modern new one, inside it looks consistent and very modern without missing the Bavarian home feeling. The rooms are very nice and clean, the stuff extremely friendly and the best is the wellness area, simply exceptional. The only drawback, the restaurant is a bit costly compared to the normal Bavarian standard prices, but the quality of the food is also exceptional, like the whole hotel.

This hotel was a wonderful find. We found it by accident and ended up staying two nights. The location is beautiful, on the side of a hill in a charming small village with a beautiful view of the valley from our balcony. Beds and linens were very nice. Breakfast was fresh and very good with eggs made to order. The restaurant serves excellent dinners, although somewhat expensive. We didn't try any of the spa services but went hiking into the nearby wooded hills instead. Staff was exceptionally pleasant and most spoke English well.

The food and service at this hotel are extraordinary. We hosted our daughter's wedding here and it was perfect. The food presentation was beautiful and the drinks were fabulous. The family took such good care of all of our guests.
