Google
Pizza by the slice is very good here. There were a lot of choices. We tried the Hawaiian, the tomato basil, a mushroom and a slice of pepperoni & sausage. The crust was thin and perfectly crispy on the edges and still chewy inside. Staff were friendly. There's indoor seating, but we ordered to go. We've eaten here before and will come back again.

Google
To be honest, walking into Landini's on a Sunday afternoon, the pizzas looked a bit old. Lots of options to chose from but at the end I got the Meatball Ricotta slice. Much better than I thought it was going to be. Really nice crust and Ricotta but not as good as Slice House. Also the price point was quite high at $6 per slice.

February 2025 We truly enjoyed some fantastic Italian cuisine here. I wished we have time and stomach to try their pizza. The pizza smells and looks very enticing. Our selection of lamb chop and calamari were delicious. My veal was served piping hot. I haven’t tasted any good with such great temp for a long time. This dish set a great example of great and fast cooking on a dining experience. My rating as 5 is highly satisfied Taste 5/5 Temperature 5/5 Attentiveness 4/5 Cleanliness 4/5 Speed of service 5/5 Highly recommend and will love to return.

Google
Came here in my constant quest for good pizza. Got a slice of cheese. Fire. Waited inside the place. Walls busy with art and stuff. Seems like there was some music playing. Place seemed a little tight but I ate in the out front seating area. I had drinks from elsewhere. They didn't bother me about it. The slice was priced lower than other slices in the area. Go by here for a slice if you are in the area.

Google
The pizza slices here are a classic NY style and really good. I enjoyed the burrata slice and the chicken with jalapeños. The flavor was really good. The slices aren’t very filling if you have a big appetite, perhaps order some sides as I went out for second dinner after my meal here. The outdoor seating is good. It’s shared with the restaurant next door which was a little confusing initially. The price is good, high value!

Google
Landini’s in San Diego is a gem! The Chicken (Pollo Alla Fiorentina) is an absolute standout—thick, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The Ravioli Ricotta e Spinaci, smothered in the BEST bolognese sauce, is pure comfort in every bite. Don’t miss the Fettuccine Gamberi e Pancetta—scrumptious and perfectly balanced and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. We started with a side of meatballs, which were deliciously tender, and capped the meal with a flawless tiramisu paired with a Café Americano. Five stars, hands down! PS: My wife reminded me about the FRESH BREAD to dip in the olive oil with balsamic vinaigrette. Don’t for get to double dip in fresh Parmesan cheese. Perfect can you put a picture of the tiramisu?

Google
Landini's Pizzeria is a true gem in the heart of Little Italy. The pizza is delicious, with that perfect balance of flavor and texture that keeps you coming back for more. One of the best parts? They stay open late, making it a great go-to spot for a late-night bite. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a great vibe that matches the energy of the neighborhood. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. If there’s one small downside, it’s the limited outdoor seating, on a beautiful starry night, it would be great to enjoy your pizza al fresco. Still, that’s a minor detail compared to everything else this place gets right. Highly recommended!

Google
Super tasty thin pizza with great toppings. Good value for money and decent house vino. I had 3 slices, wine and a soda all for under $25! White pizza sauce was great and the margarita was perfect.

Yelp
Reminded me of home chewy crust, thin, still holds its shape though! Quick service! Would order again! Only downside is I didn't realize it was cash only so had to use the ATM :/

Yelp
Solid pizza joint! The place is more of a grab and go joint rather than sit down for a leisurely meal atmosphere. I was hoping to sit outside with the nice cold weather and gas lamps but we were told that wasn't for their pizzeria. What was strange was that we saw a couple sitting outside eating their pizza. I did not love the atmosphere but I guess it truly is for a quick bite or to pick up some pizza. Now for the pizza... We got 2 slices of pepperoni, 1 slice of grandma's pizza, and 1 slice of buffalo chicken pizza. My favorite is definitely grandma's pizza. The tomato sauce and herbs were fresh. So simple but delicious. The crust was thin and crispy! I would pass on the buffalo chicken. My bf loved his pepperoni pizzas. I would come here again and order a whole pizza rather than by the slice. Our 4 slices and 1 beer came out to be $35 with tip.

Yelp
I was walking the puppy around Little Italy at 9 pm on a Saturday night and saw all the pizza shops. The menu is large and they sell slices. 2 slices and soda for $12. The slices were hot and crispy. The service was nice and quick. Pick your slice and they heat them up.
google avatar

Charnie D.

Yelp
Late night munchie stop and there was no wait time. I heard the wait time could be insane during regular business hours. So I'm glad to be able to stop in at night and enjoy a nice hot/crispy slice. Customer service was amazing and they serve my food quickly. The ambiance feels cozy with the many boxes of pizzas stacked on the wall and decorations adorned. I would recommend coming here and giving this a try!!

Yelp
This is our first time ordering from Landini's. We ordered the mozzarella Parmesan pesto pizza. It was tasty but I have two concerns. It was a bit salty and it had way too much oil in the center of the pie. I can't say anything about the service as we ordered it to be delivered. The delivery was pretty quick after the pie was ready.

Yelp
Wanted good pizza. Saw this on several platforms. Had to stop by. Located in little Italy. I went on a Saturday when they were having a market in that area, so parking was bad. We ended up paying $25 to park at a lot nearby. You order at the counter and then they call out when your order is ready. I had a slice of mushroom pizza. It was large, crispy and delicious. I also had a garlic knot that came with marinara sauce for dipping. Definitely worth the parking hassle. My mom ordered the zucchini Alfredo. The pasta was al dente and the zucchini were still hard. Maybe only order pizza here. I got a glass of their house wine. It was a good pour They have inside and outside seating. All the staff members were friendly

Yelp
This place is a must whenever I visit San Diego! The pizzeria is very fast paced so I recommend figuring out what you want before it is your turn to order! They do have a more formal restaurant right next to the pizzeria if you want to dine in. Pesto Chicken Pasta (4/5): super creamy but there was a lot of sun-dried tomatoes which I'm not a big fan of. Pollo e Broccolini (5/5): good Chiantigiana (4/5): I love this pasta! However, they changed the sausage and I liked the sausage they had a while ago better. Pizza slices (3-4/5): some pizza slices were still cold and could've had more toppings. Overall, everything is good. Pasta portion and price are good. For the price of each pizza slice, however, I'd expect the slice to be slightly bigger.

Yelp
Stopped in for a couple slices and a beer before walking the marina and watching the sunset. The slices were quickly reheated. Thin, crispy crusts loaded with cheese and fresh toppings. Sitting outside and watching the tourists is always fun. Cute inside but I'll pick outside with gorgeous weather
google avatar

Enrique V.

Yelp
Probably the best spaghetti bolognese you can get in San Diego. Surprisingly really good and the flavor is top notch! It can get pretty busy at night since it's in the heart of little Italy. Their pizzas are also good compared to other local places. Must try their pasta!

Yelp
I ordered takeout from Landini's after a long work day at a conference and honestly didn't know what to expect. I love a good New York pizza, so I was excited but also apprehensive about it. I was not disappointed! So we ordered a whole cheese pie. The undercarriage of the crust wasn't quite as crisp as I like, but the cheese and tomatoes were good. Flavor wise it was delicious! Probably one of the better pizzas we had on this side of the coast. We also ordered a couple pastas as well. My husband loved the chiantigiana. It was our first time trying this type of sauce. Normally a whole bottle of chianti goes into the sauce! Here, they used italian sausage and a vodka sauce. The pasta texture was still al dente even after I walked back to the hotel with our food. I loved my spaghetti with clams. It was buttery garlicky goodness and I slurped up all that buttery sauce from each clam. In an area full of different Italian restaurants, I'd definitely come back here!
google avatar

Lovina A.

Yelp
We came here for a quick bite and it definitely did not disappoint! The pizza slice was actually pretty big, but it was super tasty! We got the Hot Honey and dang, it was so good! My friend got the supreme pizza, but it wasn't really our favorite. Definitely go for the unique and different flavors, because that's what they're known for. Servers were also really friendly and helped us pick our flavors! Definitely worth the hype!

Yelp
This was a short walk from our Marriott hotel and we made a stop here as our first meal of the trip. We got here around 9pm and it was very busy in Little Italy for a Wednesday night. Most likely due to the July 4th holiday. We waited in a line that was briefly out the door for about 5ish minutes. The inside is small but it looked like there was some seating outside and a few tables outside. Initially, my husband and I were going to order 2 slices each but the pies in the showcase window did not look that fresh plus they had limited types already. So we ended up ordering a pie and did half pepperoni and half meatball ricotta. It was more cost efficient that way too. The employee told us it would take about 35 minutes so we walked around and came back 20 minutes later. It was divine timing because a worker literally called our name as soon as we returned. We brought the pizza to our hotel and devoured it. The meatball ricotta pizza was sooo good. There was plentiful of meatball and large dollops of marinara and ricotta. I usually don't like lots of marina but their sauce was amazingly flavorful. The crust was thin as advertised and made it possible to eat more slices. My husband who is from New York City really enjoyed his slices too. I recommend doing a whole pie if possible, it was delicious!

Yelp
First time here and I love pizza . Wide selection of pizzas . Small place to dine in . Small wait line at midnight. It reminded me of New York pizza back home in Brooklyn area . Update : Hi Leonardo ! 5 pts it is, typo on my stars , it was midnight lol! My family is from NY , but my summers were spent in NY (Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island) miss our NY pizza .... This was extremely close to having that yummy NY pizza feeling . Ciao

Yelp
Great little grab and go spot, there are a few tables outside if you want to eat there. They got a great deal of 2 slices of pizza and a canned soda for $12-13 bucks... Great variety, thin sliced pizza. I got a ricotta pineapple, pepperoni and jalapeno slice and bf got a combination slice. Definitely check in on Yelp when you get there and you get 10% off your bill. Parking can be a little tricky but fortunately we went in the middle of the day on a Monday and found a street /meter spot just a couple blocks away.
google avatar

Ruby A.

Yelp
Quick and delicious. We also had the bolognese and it was delicious! Great price, great location. Definitely will go again when in San Diego.

Yelp
I've been coming to Landini's since I was a kid, stopping by after games at Qualcomm and taking the trolley home for a bite to eat. It's still one of my favorite places to grab a slice to this day. Recently, I've noticed that the slice prices have increased significantly, while their size has decreased by half. Fortunately, whole pie prices have risen at a more typical rate. I'm unsure if this was a one-off day with uneven slice cuts or an adjustment catering to the late-night Gaslamp crowd.

rebecca m.

Yelp
I went there tonight for pizza and was really disappointed. The slices are REALLY small and $6 a piece! I bought 3 slices for $19. Wish I had gone next door to Mona Lisa and ordered an entire pie for $16. What a rip off. And the pizza wasn't great either
google avatar

Yelp
On my last day in San Diego with my friends, we stopped by Little Italy hoping to find some good Italian food. We were kind of on the late side so getting a table at one of the nearby restaurants was a bit difficult. Plus we were on our way out so we didn't have much time. Landini's totally saved the day, we were able to order and eat inside quickly in the small quaint eating area they had in the back. It was quick and easy and solved our cravings. Selection: I got a Pesto Pasta with Chicken and the price was super good for a size-able portion. The pesto was totally fresh, the basil leaves were in smaller chunks but they were soft and flavorful and blended nicely with the chicken and sun dried tomatoes. My friend got the calzone and holy cow it was huge! It literally fed both of us and we still had some left over to take home! Definitely check out Landinis for a quick but authentic experience in Little Italy.
google avatar

Roy F.

Yelp
The vegetarian pizza had almost no cheese. The sauce no taste. It tasted like plain tomatoes without salt or any spice! We also ordered Alfredo & Zucchini and Pesto Chicken. The Alfredo is okay. It is fragrant except sauce tastes like 2% milk. The pesto has lamb!! This is very American, not Italian nor New York style.

Yelp
I wish I could give this embarrassment a negative review because I'm a pizza freak, and a local. This is my last straw after giving this place SO MANY CHANCES. My Lord, what a crock of garbage this place is. It only sells bc of the location and I need it to go away. Completely. Staff too.
google avatar

JD H.

Yelp
Excellent pizza. I had two slices warmed up and they were fantastic. Had I got an entire pie I know it would've been amazing and fresh I cannot wait to come back order an entire pizza just for myself
google avatar

Cindy M.

Yelp
Quick food option in Little Italy. Good pizza with individual slice options. Staff was very friendly also.
google avatar

Frank Y.

Yelp
Very solid but not spectacular option in the heart of Little Italy. Got the two slices and a beer special while waiting for takeout next door. Buffalo chicken is a bit light on the Buffalo and a bit heavy on the blue cheese, lacks kick or slice. Highlight was the hot honey with pepperoni and ricotta. Have had this a few places and this one stands out for its balance of flavors and freshness. Also a fan of the Harland Hazy IPA on tap and overall friendly service.
google avatar

Katie E.

Yelp
Love any pizza place that I can pick up a slice rather than an entire pie. Landini's had a large variety of slices and were quick with their service. Nestled in the heart of little Italy it is no surprise that we loved their slices. Loved their crispy, thin slices. Nothing says 10/10 pizza to me quite like a crunch on the fold, without any flop at the end... really NY slice lovers know what I'm talking about. They have minimal outdoor seating so during peak hours I suspect group dining would be difficult.
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
Grabbed a slice of cheese on my way home. The servers were very kind and the patio was still open to eat it. The slice was pretty good!
google avatar

Shailey S.

Yelp
Amazing customer service! My family and I went with some friends to the public market in the evening and it was so busy. The employee working was still so attentive and nice (despite the overflow of customers). I ordered a whole pie and every time I came back to check on the order, he gave me an update plus asked if I needed anything in the meantime. The pizza itself was great! The public market is a great place to find fast casual food with a wide variety of options, decent seating inside and outside and very kid-friendly.
google avatar

Rick D.

Yelp
I ordered delivery. The food arrived hot and delicious. Landini's is one of the solid New York style pizzeria/Italian restaurants in San Diego. Open late, often busy. I ordered the Ponte Vecchio pizza, this is a delicious quintessential pizza that for me is everyday eating. Crispy and light hand tossed crust with a perfect chew and taste. The toppings seemed sparse, however every ingredient was balanced with the perfect amount and distribution to season a perfect slice without being showy and overdone. There was sweet and flavorful freshness in the veggies and sauce and meats weren't overly salty, just perfect. I loved the construction of my pizza, crisp, flavorful, light, delicious! Next, I tried my pasta, Chiantigiana penne and it was wonderful! Loaded with Italian sausage chunks, and their Italian sausage is legit! The pasta must be high quality because it stayed al dente even reheating next day. The Vodka sauce is genuinely a mouth-watering authentic sauce, I love it! I ordered tiramisu because I heard it was good. The tiramisu is perfection ... soaked cake layers, delectable cream, lightly powdered. It isn't overtly sweet, it's light, airy, and ... it's the tiramisu that you will always get because it is delightful!

Yelp
Damn good pizza. True NYC pizza in SD. Got a couple pepperoni slices. Hot and crisp crusted, perfect ratio of sauce to cures and pepperoni. Only criticism would be grease on top. 5 stars, recommended if you are down in SD little Italy.
google avatar

Lauren K.

Yelp
Came by Landini's for a quick lunch. The pizza and drink deal was priced fairly and the pizza was nice and fresh. They were even willing to throw some ricotta on top for me, which isn't a normal topping for their cheese slice. It went well with their cheese blend and sauce. We also had a pesto slice and the pesto was mild and not overpowering. It wasn't a slice packed with flavor but it was good anyway. Solid place that I'd definitely go to again.
google avatar

Debbie B.

Yelp
Best pizza! We had it delivered and still amazing. I've eaten on the patio and it's a great place for lunch or a casual dinner
google avatar

Maria I.

Yelp
We were looking for some good late night pizza before heading back to the hotel in Little Italy and found this spot. I got a slice of pepperoni pizza and my BF got a jalepeno, mushroom pizza pie. The pizza was soo good. New York thin crust style, just the way I like it. The staff was super friendly which made it a plus. I would definitely recommend and for sure coming back!
google avatar

Stephanie W.

Yelp
Omg, finally tried that place! I always see this place had a long line everyday! It was one of the best pizza ever! Thin yet delicious sauce! Not too greasy or messy pizza! Soo many pizza flavors and toppings! The waiters were amazing and very welcoming! Small place yet very popular pizza!
google avatar

Troy T.

Yelp
Needed a quick slice walking by. Walked in and the order counter was right there with pies on display. Got a combo and enjoyed it. Prompt friendly service, the slice was ready in moments. I liked the crust having some substance with the toppings not overtaking the medley, the dough was properly baked and not undercooked in the center. Cheese wasn't very stringy but the flavor of the combo was really nice.
google avatar

Rob M.

Yelp
While walking in the Little Italy area we wanted a quick bite to eat to soak up some of our brewery intake, so we decided to try this place. Above average pizza at a decent price.
google avatar

Belen L.

Yelp
The pizza was good . I felt like it should've been a bit more fresh but hey 13$ for 2 slices and a Dr.Pepper doesn't seem too bad. They had a good variety. I don't really have anything else to say . The cheesecake was good, too.
google avatar

James B.

Yelp
Great place to grab a few slices of some really delicious pizza If you are just hanging out in Little Italy and dont want to eat at one of the fancier restaurants. They have plenty of options to choose from and all of them are great! We had the margarita slice, spinach and ricotta , and classic cheese slices before hitting the town and having some drinks! The shop is not very big and can fill up with people quickly. There are 3 or 4 sidewalk tables and some extra eating room inside the shop. They share a building with another restaurant so it would appear that they have more seating than they do but, its a shared space so the work with what they got. If you know San Diego then you will know that parking absolutely sucks in this area so good luck with that. But all in all definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area and want some good pizza!
google avatar

Andy C.

Yelp
Honestly this place has been there for me when close friends weren't. You need comfort in the form of dough and cheese? They got chu. Landini's is an older sibling willing to set you straight. Piping hot delicious pizza (and the slices change daily!) and solid beer in red Solo cups. I wish I still lived down the street. Go here. You won't regret it.

jonathan ..

Yelp
Pretty good pizza and super friendly staff. I tried the pepperoni and mozzarella with hot honey and it really hit the spot.
google avatar

Madison C.

Yelp
Best pizza, best service. My go to pizza spot! The meatball ricotta pizza is the best. Fresh ingredients and doesn't make you feel gross after. 100% recommend.
google avatar

Jade Y.

Yelp
The pizza and buffalo wings are really good here. My husband and I ordered here on our last night since it was the only thing open really and we are so glad we came here. the workers were really nice and the area was not dirty.
google avatar

Chad H.

Yelp
While here in San Diego for work after a long travel day I decided to order pizza and chill out in the room. Something about this spot caught my attention and I decided this is where I'd order from. I ordered an extra cheese and double pepperoni pizza. It was awesome and met my expectations. The only negative is the grub hub delivery driver took forever and the pizza was pretty much cold but not the restaurants fault. Still was a great pizza and I'd highly recommend this spot. Even the hotel employees said you chose a good spot when I walked back through as they saw the box.
google avatar

Kelvin C.

Yelp
OMG awesome pie! Thanks to other Yelpers, I found this spot. I got Grandma's pizza with pepperoni and sausage. The cheese was so flavorful, the meats were salty and juicy. It had a great thin NY style crust, great mild chunky tomatoes, and chewy soft crust. REALLY GOOD! I almost forgot...I ordered a side of meatballs, it's was delicious.
google avatar

Daniel B.

Yelp
Pizza and service were decent but a slice is only 1/8 of the whole pie and it's $6.45 with tax, $5.99 without. At least cut your pies into 6 slices. They raised their prices 33% just in the past year, from $4.50 to $6. So disappointed that Little Italy has become a ripoff and a tourist trap; plenty of other pizza places with reasonable prices around.
google avatar

Anna B.

Yelp
Love this New York style pizzeria in the heart of Little Italy! I love being in the area and being able to pick up a single slice of pizza. They have so many options and seating area inside and outside. I got the Meatball Ricotta Marinara Pizza & margarita pizza which were both delicious. Service is quick, look for street parking, would come here again!
google avatar

Jack S.

Yelp
What a great pizza. Every topping was enjoyed. Not much of a thin crust fan, this is an exception.
google avatar

Laurie H.

Yelp
$-$$ To say that this was one of the best piece of pizzas, I've eaten ever, is an understatement. My sister and I were out walking about the beautiful Little Italy area of San Diego and found this place for lunch. There is minimal seating inside, and there is outside seating on the sidewalk. The food was absolutely amazing! You choose the pizza that is on display in their case, and they put it in there ovens to reheat and finish cooking so that it is hot and ready to eat. So, if you are ever in San Diego on your travels, and you're looking for a great place to have pizza for lunch, I am making this wonderful recommendation. The servers behind the counter were also very friendly, which is always very nice to see and experience.
google avatar

Nicole A.

Yelp
The service was good! The ricotta cheese and meatballs was yummy. My bf really enjoyed it and the vibes of the place.
google avatar

Ken D.

Yelp
Went for the classic margarita pizza since that's how I kind of judge a pizza place. For the price, service and value you honestly can't go wrong. It's one of those pizza spots to grab a slice if you're still hungry after eating at a fancy restaurant or you're just drunk around little Italy.
google avatar

Maricel J.

Yelp
So glad this was open on Christmas Day! Always a good service here, all the staffs are friendly and very welcoming. You get a glimpse of their pizza tossing in the back. Amazing pizza, always so good!
