This is a moderate sized green space area on the campus of Florida State Univerisity, located between Landis Hall and Strozier Library. It is a very simple space consisting of a large plot of green space with a bunch of intersecting walkways. There is also a bunch of shade trees along the space's perimeter that provides visitors relief from the beaming sun. When school is in, this is a popular spot for students to just hang out. You will find some sitting on one of the low walls in the space playing a guitar or some other instrument. You may also see some on the ground, under a tree, just laying down relaxing/taking a nap or tossing a frisbee.
This is also the site of many official and unofficial school gatherings. It was the site of a Pro-Palestinian student protest, Student Entrepreneurship Expo, movie screenings, ice cream socials, and football pep rallies.
The park is home to the historic Legacy Fountain and is definitely worth taking a look at. There are a few benches around the fountain to sit, but there are not any protection from the sun though. This is a nice spot, but it will probably only have utility for FSU students. If you are a student this is a nice place to hang out.
