Landi's Pork Store

I have been going to Landi's since I was young, the quality is consistent, delicious sausage, fresh mozz, amazing meats and deli. The sandwiches are well made and reasonable, the precooked specialties is a great selection and always fresh. The guys behind the counter can't be beat, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating. Love this place!

After shopping here, you can really see the difference between shopping for meats and cheeses and salads and cold cuts in a supermarket and a specialty store. Because you leave feeling special. And smart for shopping here. Place has been around seemingly forever; and old store, like a large grocery, with counters for everything I just mentioned, plus delicious sandwiches. Very large, patient, helpful and knowledgeable staff. I imagine it is what it was like shopping in the old days. Plus it’s accessible ♿️. Very clean and organized. Terrific place.

I have been going to this store since 2004 to get all sorts of meat products and Italian food, but the place existed long before that - the store was founded in 1928 by Frank Landi, an Italian immigrant. Since then it grew into a popular tourist spot as well as a place where locals shop for ready to eat food along with stuff you can finish cooking home - I buy Chicken Cordon Blue there, it comes raw but ready for cooking, they give you some white wine you put in it and bake like that till ready. It has been featured in several publications like The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Steaks are good, Italian spicy sausages and pin wheels are great for grilling. Sandwiches are awesome. If you're looking for high-quality meats and friendly service, be sure to check out Landi's Pork Store. You won't be disappointed.

They have choice beef at the price prime should be. I give their meat 2 stars, however they do have awesome Italian products and hot food that will keep me coming back, unfortunately if you want good meat for a good price you need to leave the neighborhood

A new find. Prepared foods as well as a variety of fresh meats. I especially love that they carry organic and grass fed brands. Nice cheese and oil selection as well. I’ve been back twice already.

A Classic Brooklyn Pork Store. Here you find a good meat market with great sausage that is homemade. There is an amazing deli with huge sandwiches and old fashion prices. The owner John, is a great guy who has been serving his community for years. Stop here once and it will become a regular stop on your shopping adventures. Simply the best.

Top notch service , go multiple times a week for lunch. No complaints , excellent portions, up there with the city's greats in sandwich shops . Make sure you pick up some spinach balls and fried ravioli.

The store is super clean. The food is premium and fresh. You have to speak up at the counter and present yourself to be served or certain people will jump ahead of you to get served first. This happened to me and then a lady said you go ahead - she was courteous. Anyway, the ravioli was phenomenal. I purchased some tomato puree, fresh mozzarella --so fresh, a pork loin, and 2 types of sausage, and chicken cutlets. All fresh and all nice flavors. Even though there are quite a few counter people, numbers would be helpful.

This is where Brooklyn shines. Italian butcher shops, and not just that, Italian markets with premade meals, sandwiches you can order by the armful, and a time capsule dating back to 1972. Okay, the last one is a lie. The rest is true. I can see myself coming here in the cooler months for some great food when I do not feel like cooking.

Let's just start with this place has been in business since 1928 and somehow I only found it last week! Landi's Pork store is an amazing place for cold cuts, deli meats, prepared foods, and all other fine Italian goods! When you walk in you know everything will be delicious by the amount of customers, staff, and quality of items. If you love local this is a must try and try again and again. The middle of the store is filled with quality Italian pre packaged food, drinks, and goods. The old school nostalgia is alive and well inside this store! I have tried 2 sandwiches and 1 prepared lunch for the deli, and let me tell you they were all delicious! Today I had a chicken cutlet, fresh mozarella, roasted peppers, with balsamic on a hero! The chicken was warm and cooked to perfect! Sorry but even if you are not that hungry you will eat the whole hero since it tastes so good! I will definitely be back the next time I am in the area!

A few years ago I was reminiscing with a friend and she said how she always went to Arthur Ave in the BX when she visited from CT and was surprised why I didn't. Don't get me wrong I enjoy Arthur Ave. However, I am a born and raised Brooklynite, local butchers was common growing up. This is a true old school butcher which sadly is not as prevalent in NYC any longer. I was in the area and stopped in and left with fennel sausage and pork chops. Great service and the sausage was amazing

A lot is based upon the "mood" of counter service. The regulars, don't hesitate to jump ahead. The quality of butcher product, top shelf. Great choices, the service can make you crazy. Walked out many times. Have a guy over 6'2" do the shopping. They never play the stupid act with them.

I ordered online for the first time from the Brooklyn store to,be shipped to Pennsylvania I have to be honest I was very very disappointed everything came frozen in vacuum sealed bags when you order green stuffed peppers and they come so flat as if a steamroller ran over it I placed a $80.82 order I was so happy when the order arrived I place my order on December 8th delivered December 12th here is what the food look like I learned my lesson I will never ever order from landis pork store again !!!! so so disappointed!!!!

Place has been around for almost 100 years (not the same location). It's a small supermarket in the middle, surrounded by fresh meat and cheese and sandwich counters. And I mean FRESH! Like what comes to mind when someone talks about 'the old days.' They cut exactly how much you want. Exactly the way you want it. Dozens of fresh salads as well. Gets very crowded on the weekends, and understandably so. Excellent service.

A real Butcher store! Everything is prepared fresh and custom to your needs. Staff is amazing , store is beautiful to your senses and immaculate. Whether you stop in or order for a party .. you chose the best and will never be disappointed!

Great everything. The sandwiches are piled high. Freshly made pasta. The homemade soppressata is to die for. You don't stay in business for 95 years if you're not top notch.

I just ordered online several products sausage, ravioli, rice, balls, etc. I live in California. They were shipped two days overnight. They came today and everything was perfect. The dry ice was just about gone, but all the products were still frozen. I am very happy with their mail order service.mail order service.I will not hesitate would not hesitate to order from . Hey Yelpers! I'm back in the old neighborhood today and was in the mood for a Sammie. A bagel store that just opened on L makes pretty decent coffee. I said lemme see what they're asking for a Sammie. Nine bucks! Hmm. No thanks. If I'm gonna get a Sammie and pay NINE BUCKS May as well go to the Sammie gods: LANDY's. Soooo glad I did cuz they did not disappoint! Nice fat n juicy! Definitely worth every penny! Thank you fellas at LANDY's for keeping it consistent when so many other things just aren't these days.

The absolute best italian food I have ever had. I recommend this place to everyone. Old school italian.. and the fresh mozzarella is out of this world

Landi's pork store is a top notch neighborhood institution. Whether it's the butcher shop, the Italian delicacies all amongst the store, or that deli counter that just has every item you would ever want to eat in life. Of course I can't turn down a great Italian deli sandwich and I created my own, although I love the classics but having the ability to put whatever I want that tickles my fancy that day is always a plus. I decided to start my sandwich with of course a semolina hero bread adding chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, balsamic glaze, and the kicker hot soppressata. The sandwich was filled to capacity and hearty lunch and with that could've been my dinner for the day. The sandwich I got ended up being my five other coworkers sandwiches for the next two days we were there. The staff are great people, very nice and knowledgeable of the items in the store. The one thing you can't get in many places is that old school Italian deli vibe with the pics of celebrities who have come and gone and enjoyed the joy that is Landi's pork Store.

They have the best Caesar salad. I love their ready to eat meals, just need to pop it in the oven

Their meats are Premium quality, top notch ALWAYS! I have never purchased any type of meat that was not excellent! They also sell their homemade sauces and delicious coldcuts, pastas, and a few GF. The service is 100% super welcoming, kind, and surely extra efficient. The store is emmaculate every time I'm there. I have been going there for almost 40 years. A wonderful family business. I'm proud to say they serve my community!

Every Sunday, firetrucks park all around the the two intersections of Ralph Ave, Ave N and East 59th Street , Brooklyn for the best Italian food! They have the sauces, the pasta, sausage, cold cuts, deli, produce. You name it, you can get it or the ingredients to make it! My favorites are the antepasta salad, the goat cheese stuffed hot peppers, and the yellow finger peppers stuffed with some delicious cured meat and cheese. Firemen are never wrong when it comes to food.

Love this place . Perfect place for cold cuts and sausage ring must have. Sandwiches a great day and time when you want to make it.

Fresh meats and tasty prepared meals. Employees get you in and out quickly and are helpful. Store is clean and has lots of variety.

Ordered some sausage on line for over $100. The idiots at this pork store forgot to ice the package, so that when the sausage arrived it was actually hot in the box. And it smelled rancid. Don't order anything online from these guys.

Landi's might be know for their product but definitely not for the managements treatment of their customers. I was never more insulted by the manager or maybe he was the owner because I asked for service. The store was relatively empty and I was the only customer waiting at the butcher counter. I had been waiting for a couple of minutes when I noticed a worker who was sitting behind the counter. I asked for help and was ignored. Waited a little while longer when another worker came out, asked for help, was ignored. Waited again, "Mr. Personality" came out, I looked to him for help and he said "You will be next ma'am." I jokingly said and exaggerated, "I've been waiting 10 minutes" to which he nastily responded. "No you haven't been here 10 minutes. I saw you come in" I again, jokingly said " OK, only 7." He then intentionally walked behind me and uttered, nastily, "she should order on Amazon." Then he made a comment to another customer about me which I made him know I heard. Now, because he had such good manners, he came around the counter, bent down in my face and told me "the problem is these workers aren't given respect for all their hard work throughout the pandemic. They worked the whole time" Where this statement came from is beyond me! He's their employer, he should be compensating them for their hard work. Aside from that, I never disrespected any worker in that store including him and let's be clear, he not only deserved to be put in his place for the way he spoke to a customer but definitely a few classes in anger management and customer relations. I will never do business with an establishment that cannot show respect to their fellow man. Btw, I'm an essential worker!!!!

How the hell does this institution only have 76 reviews?!?!?!?!?! The worst thing you'll ever buy from Landi's will be excellent. Everything here is high quality. From the fresh meats and custom cuts/orders to the prepared food counter where you can lose your mind deciding what to get. The countermen, by and large, have worked there awhile and know what they're selling and talking about. Deli meat? They slice and wrap it like you bought gold. Their soups, sold cold but easy to reheat, are amazing. I lived in Marine Park for a few years and was here every few weeks. A dying breed...may they be around another hundred years.

Stopped by Landi's to pick up some prosciutto, but I ended up buying way more things than I expected. The prices are extremely reasonable-- $24/lb for prosciutto, $8-10/lb for marinated salads, $9 for some fresh mozz. Would love to return for some of their famous sausages!

How is it that everything from this store is so damn delicious? The spicy sausages are outstanding. The pre-made food? To die for! Even their mini pizzas are sooo tasty. You really can't go wrong with Landi's. May they never ever close!

Probably one of the best italian deli's around. My nonna and nonno have been going there for years and I grew up eating their food. They have the classic butchering section and cold cut selection which they slice and cut to perfection every time. They have a huge selection of fresh cheese, and have a great choice of burrata and buffala mozzarella (my favorites, that not every market has! ) The staff is always friendly and never messes up an order.

alot of their ready made food is not fresh...i stopped buying that from them and i dont like their meat...i knew immediately when my sister bought their meat...its not a good quality thats it

I haven't been to Brooklyn since 1975. But I grew up there and loved the pork stores. I live outside of Washington, DC and the closest drive to an Italian grocery or pork store is over an hour away with good traffic. I decided to try Landi's and sent them a big order. I got my order last week, exquisitely packed and so far everything has been delicious. I Called them to thank them in taking such care in wrapping and packing. Best Italian sausage I have had in years. Doesn't matter which one. I bought some of everything. Delicious. Thank you, Landi's.

Great service and delivery of my 3 foot Italian hero. The fried food platter was very good. The additional utensils and plates were provided which was a plus. Would use landis again for my catering needs

The most amazing meatball parm I've ever met. Fantastic Italian classic sandwich as well. Impressive assortment of meats and other Italian specialty items. Look forward to trying more of their sandwich selection.

First of all, I don't eat pork, so this is not an endorsement of pork or their pork products. That being said, everything else here is amazing, and this place is basically like a crack house to me. Everything about this place is awesome. On most recent visit: Me: What's this? (pointing to thing behind the magical case in the back) Employee #1: Stuffed chicken Employee #2 (to Employee #1): Ay ! Not everyone is a genius like you - you gotta tell him what its stuffed with ! I don't even remember what it was stuffed with, but it was something very good. Oftentimes, when driving, even if I am going somewhere else, I somehow end up here. Yes, I have a problem. If they make it in house, it is great.

The food if amazing, but the prices are getting out of control. A sandwich that cost $12 is now $16. Wow!!

I went to the this store last Friday. I purchased five boxes of raviolis. I have to say they are the best raviolis money can buy. All of my company really enjoyed them . I live in Long Island I would definitely go back to Brooklyn To buy them again. even with all the traffic on the belt parkway it is worth the ride. I used to go to this store 35 years ago when I used to live in Brooklyn, and it hasn't changed one bit still has the best sausage and now I have a place to buy my Pasta. Absurdly expensive. For dry sausage, 4 times the price I pay for absolutely superb dry sweets from San Francisco. And I can pick them up at 2 local Fort Lauderdale stores. I grew up and later lived and worked in Italy. Sort of know what I'm buying.

I lived in Bklyn for 23 years, Now living in South Carolina. Saw Landi's on TV and placed an order hoping for the best. The Best is exactly what I got, I ordered cheese and parsley sausage, Rice Balls, Soppresata and Ravioli and everything arrived in perfect condition, ice cold and cooked up as if I had walked to Avenue N and picked it up myself. Because Landis was on the food network they were overwhelmed with orders so it took a long time to get my order but it was well worth the wait. I anticipate another order near the Christmas holidays so I can have a Brooklyn Christmas here in sunny South Carolina! Thanks Landis for a slice of home - You are THE BEST!!

My grandma used to live down the block from Landi's. This meant that growing up, I was always in Landi's getting food of some sort. Then my cousin scored a job at Landi's and this meant (sometimes) free food. Everything here is fresh and tasty. Everything. Their eggplant parm is my favorite parm of any kind from any place I have ever been to. The back, where they prepare everything, is VERY clean and the staff is friendly. It's always packed on holidays and weekends but well-worth the wait. They also deliver, which is amazing! I, myself, don't require delivery but I do like to send their goodies sometimes to friends out of state. They pack everything with dry-ice so no worries there. Visit Landi's today!

Learned of this store through Groupon and was happy I did. The store itself was very clean and pretty large. I purchased some baby back ribs, stuffed pork chops, chicken and pork italian sausage. I must say everything i tried was absolutey wonderful and fresh. The meat itself was some of the best tasting I have had because it cooked up so tender and moist with little effort unlike any meat i have ever purchased in a supermarket. I definitely will be returning in the future!

Oh baby, this is my favorite Italian food store in the city! Plenty of different raw meats, prepared dishes, and other Italian good, when you walk in you're pretty much swimming in them. Its much cleaner than other stores like it, the service is more friendly and helpful than anywhere else I've been, and they also have great rice balls which is also a big plus. Best thing I've had from there is a Chicken and Spinach meatloaf that was freaking amazing...its not in a not-so-accessible location, but if you have a car or are determined its definitely worth a trip. Just make sure you bring something to keep the meat cool.
