L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Great location and parking. The food is very good but no pineapples at an Hawaiian Restaurant is difficult to understand. :) the food was good and we wanted to try this place for quite sometime so finally we did. Prices are good for the amount of food you get. They have combo meals that do not include the beverage. They. offer dine in or pick up. Good parking and the place is very clean and handicap accessible. Another place that ask for tip at ring up so I told her we tip after we eat and she was fine with that. We had never been here before so we did not know if it was excellent or poor. Service was good as was the meal so we tipped after we ate Friendly service and I recommend.

At this price point, this L & L needs to do better. "Mahi mahi," I think not. To serve an Asian or let alone anyone that regularly eats fish this so called "mahi-mahi" is a no-no. More like Swai fillet. Cheap, cheap. No lemon wedge and a packet of tartar sauce (tartar is super easy to whip up) 😑 The mac salad was very bland like salt was forgotten in the process. Even the spam musubi wasn't good. The rice was hard and it tasted like a different generic luncheon meat. Not very spammy. The loco moco is made from frozen patties, not even fresh. Better to go to Albertsons next door and get some waygu groud beef and make it yourself. Too many other Hawaiian food places popping up in the neighborhood to waste money here. Thoroughly disappointed. Eek 😖

9-23-19 Amazing! Fresh quality food at a fair price! Nice clean new building! Very friendly helpful staff! The spam musubi is excellent! FYI: The poster in the window shows 3 spam musubi rolls although you only get 1 for $2.25 It is well worth the price. We will definitely be back for more!

The price of the restaurant is reasonable, cost-effective, and the hygienic condition is good. People can enjoy delicious food with confidence. It is a very recommended restaurant.

Terrible place!!!! **** Beware of this place **** Was one of the first customers to come here and after Covid they became very Stingy with their food*** small plates and higher prices Bad and terrible customer service. We ordered a whole lot of food and we ALL got sick from it…. Hamburger steak not the same they are real stingey with the gravy!!! Their fried noodles drenched in OIL!!! Save your money and go to Ohana BBQ on rainbow instead… below you will find the info on how much we paid for Terrible terrible terrible food!! They’ve lost our Business and will speed the word to all our Family and friends … do not go here to eat!!!!

Terrible place to come! I came ordered cheeseburger no Mayo and brought it home and had full mayo on it. I called and said they would make me a new one, drive all the way back and this was the nastiest soggy cheeseburger I’ve ever seen! Looks like the last piece of the lettuce was placed on my cheeseburger just so I can get it and go. And on top of that they didn’t give me new fries I had to tell her I wanted new fries since my old ones are cold now….she rolled her eyes at me. Please don’t come here because if they make a mistake with your food they won’t care how your second plate is and they don’t care….oh and btw I tipped their jar when I originally came in. Never again!

They are known for serving authentic Hawaiian cuisine and the service in the restaurant is excellent. The waiters are warm and friendly, always greeting every guest with a smile. Whether ordering or serving food, they are very professional and timely.

I've always been crazy for hawaiian teriyaki, and L&L makes a great T. Beef plate that feeds plenty and comes with macaroni salad to add a creamy balance to all that lovely umami drenched beef. I've also had the chicken katsu which is also very nice but I try to stay away from fried food. Thanks, L&L for the yummy teriyaki

Typical L&L and exactly what I needed! Being from Hawaii, I thought this L&L would have different tasting food considering it's in Vegas and there's different resources here. BUT I was wrong and it definitely brings back the local flavor to the Mountains Edge community. It's great to see a diverse group of people come in also enjoying the food that L&L provides. I got the mini chicken katsu and it looked like a regular. Love that L&L still gives big servings here too just like my local Ewa Beach L&L. Overall, the lady was nice and I enjoyed my lunch here. The Mac salad side was good too but it did have tuna in it which was different but the flavor was still the same. I do wish that this L&L would have their breakfast options here like their island counterparts. Hopefully one day - would love to get the local breakfast with lup cheong!

One of the three meats from the Hawaiian barbecue plate was a bit too fatty, but other than that relatively mandane issue everything else tasted great, especially their macaroni salad. The customer service was a bit dry. The restaurant was clean and the wait time was very brief.

Whoever was the cook tonight , sister, brother, thank you. Before it was meh. BEFORE, Lau was too dry and mochiko was salty. I ubered your food cause I just needed home again. This time it was bomb! Laulau had all the right fatty - ness ! If that's a word. The mochiko was slightly sweet like it should be and not tough and over cooked either! Thank you ! Honestly super happy !

Had a #3. BBQ mix . Chicken and beef were pretty tasty. However the ribs were so tough you couldn't cut or eat them . Very large portions, ordered a regular and shared it and still had some left over.

I've been there twice and had the reg size roast pork for $12.95 cones with rice ,sauce and macaroni salad both times it's a big potion and was excellent. I'll be back

Came here not knowing they were closing HOURS before stated online. Lady taking orders was SO rude when I came in to order, she's a bitch. Used to love coming here but they will not be getting anymore of my money.

Gotta say this is going to be a weird one for me.... As we always do ("we" meaning, the wife and I), ordered food from time to time when we have days off together. Well, today we ordered from L&L Hawaiian BBQ and it was just an odd experience. Sooo we ordered the Loco Moco and the Garlic Shrimp. Let's get this out of the way really quick... the garlic shrimp was amazing!!!!! Ok, now to the Loco Moco.... I have ordered from here but I believe it was a LONG time ago and I did order the Loco Moco last time, its my go too for Hawaiian food. We ordered online and ordered for "pick up". I walked into the restaurant and there was one person eating with one employee sitting behind the counter (in a chair). NO ONE ELSE AROUND. When you walk up to the counter you can see into the back to where I believe the cook should be cooking food??? Lol. The light was off and there was no cook, cooking food. I found that to be a bit odd.... besides that weirdness, I grabbed my food and drove my happy a** back home to devour my food =). I opened the container and saw that the meat looked a little weird.. Almost like a microwave dinner burger. Super flat, floppy... not a lot texture to the burger. The wife and I split the meals and when my wife took her half of the Loco Moco. She took her bite into the burger and the first thing that came out of her mouth was that it taste like a TV dinner. This is what I remembered from the last time I ordered from L&L and it brought back memories. This all being said, I don't know if the burger is just precooked and they microwave the burger... but... the egg on there was perfect, so maybe that was cooked? ::shrugs:: I gotta say, I will be trying something else that is close to the house next time. I suggest if you order a Loco Moco, pick another Hawaiian food place. If you order anything else, I think you will enjoy your meal here. In the end, this probable should just be a Loco Moco review from L&L but its all I really order from Hawaiian places. Going to get three stars..... 4 if the burger was better... 5 would be if I saw other employees working there and a cook lol. *** I guess this is an updated review*** I believe I picked 4 stars last time, I am going with 3 now because of the described above.... Just really odd the place had one employee sitting in a chair when I went in there... maybe they are going out of business or an extremely slow day... just led me to believe the food wasn't cooked but just microwaved... sucks and I hope I am wrong...

I ordered a mini Mochiko Chicken. It was terrible. The mochiko batter was soggy...not crispy. I'll never order this again.

The food is always good. They have lots of small bites that are not on the website so I took a picture. Lumpia (pork and chicken) , crab Rangoon and spam masubi are a few of my favorites.

This is the second location I've visited, no complaints so far! For this location.... I was greeted immediately upon entering and given a menu. I'm a sucker for Chicken Katsu, so I couldn't resist! Note to self.... Next time order the smaller portion! Clean restaurant and bathrooms are very important to me. So they met and exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, cooked to order, and very fresh! I was only able to eat half of my food. The service was above and beyond! Very friendly and efficient staff. I can't wait to go back!

This location near Blue Diamond and Buffalo is conveniently located near me in Mountain's Edge. It's usually just the cashier and 1-2 chefs in the back but they work so quickly to get food out to everyone and plating/food quality is consistent. Anytime I need a quick meal for the family when I don't want to cook at home, I give L&L a call to help me out. And yes food cost continues to rise but at least here, their portions are well worth it.

Our sons absolutely favorite spot for hamburger steak and fries. He says "it reminds him of home"! Great for simple pool party, kids birthday catering.

All the L&L's have the same menu and same taste in food. This place is the newest in Vegas and is very convenient in the mount edge area. They do also offer other side dishes and finger food, which is great for picky eaters. Lady up front pretty rude and inpatient. No customer service what so ever. For a busy place like that, they should have two people up front.

Yummy food! Will order here again. Reminds me of Hawaii. Big fan here. Spam musubi was awesome. The barbecue was tasty.

I lived on Maui for about 15 years and used to go to L&L often. I was excited to find this location today and decided to give it a try. Spam Musubi was ok, rice too dry and hard. Chicken BBQ healthy plate was very good. Chicken Katsu curry was good but needed more sauce. I could have given 4 stars but the girl working there had a terrible attitude. Not a bit of Hawaiian friendly spirit in her. I was going to complain but I didn't want her to spit into our food so I didn't

lady in front desk is rude and not friendly.i asked if all the bags are mine, she said yes. as i was trying to pick ul the 3rd bag, she hugged it and she said no. and looked at me like im piece of sht. lmfao then why say yes jeezuz!

Food is always great The lady taking orders is very rude and always has attitude. If you don't like people, you shouldn't work customer service as I was waiting for my receipt to print to grab the receipt folded it then slammed it on the counter and then she slammed the pen on the counter as well. I found that very rude and that was a very poor customer service. I've never had anybody be that rude to me that worked in customer service and I never ever leave reviews but this has been going on for a long time. It's also happened to one of my coworkers as well.

Got a mini plate and there was long black hair in the food. when we took the food back the out it back in the kitchen to reserve

Great food as usual. The service here is probably the fastest that I've had at any L&L location. Even though there were other people ahead of me, start to finish I received my 2 regular sized portion meals within 5 minutes after ordering. I will definitely go back here again.

Order ahead & pick up! Love that the menu here is bigger than the L&L menu we had in California. Staff is so friendly and patient. Definitely coming back.

So happy we stopped into this location! Have had Hawaiian bbq plenty of times & ate at almost every single one in Vegas. L&L is mediocre. We go just to go. Hunger. I ordered the #1 seafood/kalbi combo plate. My son ordered the #17 saimin. Wow.. We were shocked!! It was actually very flavorful!! Usually the sauces are water downed at most L&Ls but this store was superb! The saimin, flavorful broth with fried egg on top was tasty!

Disappointed that this franchisee does not use the L&L app, therefore no online ordering and no award points. Deal breaker for my returning. Franchisee also has a lot of non-Hawaiian items on paper posters. No musubi, etc present.

Service here is questionable from the cashier. Lack of organization and no acknowledgement of the customers in line. Waited 10 minutes with one person in front of me just to place an order. No gesture of thank you, sorry for the wait. Come on customer service goes a long way!

I always craving for some good Hawaiian food. This place is my go to spot. BBQ mix is my favorite dish. The meat cook very well,it's a big portion too. Chicken kastu is crispy,it taste sooo good with their Katsu sauce. Believe me,you must try this place.

We ordered the BBQ chicken and katsu combo. Both were good but katsu stole the show. Perfect crunch and the sauce they serve with it is amazing. Don't go off the menu online or on yelp, there's a bunch of food to choose from that's only displayed in the restaurant. I'm trying their garlic shrimp next!!

This L & L puts all the others to shame!!! Will definitely be coming back for more! Seriously the best I've had, and had more variety than all the others I've been to! Should be 10/10 ‍

I like the woman in charge here it looks like she runs a tight ship. I love that her receipt says her name is BOSS. I ordered the chicken katsu curry and just as I was about to say "curry gravy on the side" she asked me first! I instantly knew she was very skilled in customer service. I am beyond thrilled that I have this L&L just around the corner from my house in Mountain's Edge. I'll be back! Oh, and the chicken katsu curry was delicious, the chicken perfectly crispy and copious and the gravy tangy. Rice and macaroni salad was mucho bueno.

11/17 Came to this location because they had the Healthy Plate options. We had ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi with Garlic. For the price, the portions are pretty huge!!!! It came with 3 Fillets, topped with fried garlic, 2 scoops of brown rice and a side salad. The only thing I should had asked for is extra tartar sauce but other than that, I don't mind driving all the way to this location to order again.

A must try Hawaiian bbq at Mountains edge shopping center. Bbq mix, chicken katsu,seafood mix combo,ahi tuna poke,healthier plates option,Hibachi style fried rice or fried noodle,and they also offer free malasadas( fried donuts) with every certain amount of your purchase.

The food itself was ok. My problem was their customer service. I ordered 2 chicken katsu meals. About a minute later I looked up and noticed the regular katsu and curry katsu was the same price so I asked to change one of the meals. The person at the counter said she would have to upcharge me because the size of the curry sauce container they use was larger than the katsu sauce container. Even though the meals are the same price. Why try to nickel and dime me? No thank you I won't be returning.

The best L&L ever!! We walked in they were super nice and ended up giving us free Malasadas They were super yummy and the food was great as well. They had the pates full of rice and chicken and put the macaroni salad on the side so there was more room for the main course! The costumer service was also beyond amazing, definitely will be coming back here!!

I've eaten here many times. It is delightful. Very good healthy plates I highly recommend. The healthy fish plate is delectable. I love the macaroni salads, they complement every meal well.

Ordered for a family gathering. They did not disappoint. Delicious food, HUGE servings! The tempura shrimp was fantastic, so was the Chicken Katsu & macaroni salad! Make sure you order the malasadas.

The food was plentiful and very good. Great price. We ate at the restaurant but most people got food to go after work. The poke salad was great.

I placed an order in at 9:15 and this store claimed it closed at 10 pulled up at 9:25 and they where closed and couldn't get my food that I paid for! Horrible service and couldn't believe they closed almost an hour earlier before what the website says they do.

This place is pretty good, it's straight forward and simple with the menus it's always made fresh and not too bad on price.

Curry Katsu here is awesome! Lean meat and big portions. Did a Yelp order for pickup and order was ready on time. This will be my new go-to L&L!

My wife and I have seen the sign of LNL Hawaiian BBQ coming soon and we've always talked about going when it opened. I never knew it was already open so we decided to go after a long day of watching football. We both got the bbq chicken and katsu chicken combo, which wasn't on the menu but they were able to make it. I suggest going in and looking at the menu because there are items not on the menu or yelp. My only complaint was if I recall the bbq chicken was skinless and this one has skin. I definitely want to try some of the other items on their inside menu. My wife and I got back from a vacation in Hawaii and I'm hoping their garlic shrimp and malasadas can bring back that Giovanni's shrimp truck and Leonard's bakery memories.

This L&L opened up close by my house and I found my new place to get Hawaiian food on the go. The service is excellent, food comes out fast and tasting great even when they were busy cooking up a brunch time order. You can tell even under pressure, they definitely are on top of their game. You should try their chicken katsu curry. Wonderful!

I normally love this L and L they must have new staff because the last time I came here the rude woman at the front told me I couldn't order a katsu plate with fried rice. Normally my favorite katsu spot but I won't come back here for a while. Hopefully they figure it out.

Finally they opened one L&L by mountain edge! If you're stuffing Hawaiian food, this is the right place! It's nice and clean. We'll be back

New location in SW Las Vegas near mountains edge. Great food, great service and has a soothing islander vibe as soon as you walk in . Definitely reminds me of home!
