We were at Landline yesterday and started at the bar with an excellent Negroni and nr333. The bartender was experienced and friendly. The food in the restaurant was very good. Unfortunately, the sommelier was absent, which diminished the wine experience and led to some hilarious misunderstandings when we asked for Burgundy glasses with the Puligny-Montrachet. The service was lacking. The dishes were not adequately explained, and in some cases, completely misinterpreted. The food was refined with deep flavors! A lovely evening, but unfortunately with subpar service.
