I attended the Landmark Forum this past weekend after a close friend invited me to what seemed to be an emotional intelligence training. The first day was ok- lot’s of new concepts and mind frameworks which were new to me. But day two involved all sorts of sales pitches, petty hour long nagging because 26 people did not sign up to more training, the facilitator blatantly and unapologetically calling the audience “rats” even though we expressed that it was landing the wrong way, and many instances of mental abuse to vulnerable participants. However, the drop that tipped the glass for me was when one of the volunteers called me a “criminal” several times after I expressed that I would be running a bit late after dinner. When I tried to leave they blocked the exit door and after I pushed through to leave they had people chasing me down the hall and all the way into the bathroom. I’ve never felt more harassed in my life and would hate for anyone else to feel that way. It is completely unacceptable. After doing some research I discovered that other people have had similar experiences and looking back I wish I did more research before signing up.

Life-altering if you actually apply the distinctions you learn from the courses, to your life. People make excuses for not being responsible for the consequences of their words and actions, so you'll see negative reviews. But Landmark doesn't make the choices for them. This weekend I realized I have pain when I do, and when I don't, I don't. I've been suffering for 8 years by hiding away in my dark bedroom when I'm in pain, not realizing I was laying in bed for so long it caused more pain. Now I'm standing up when it hurts until the pain goes away, taking walks, and I even changed my bedroom so it's no longer a cocoon. It's a room to be slept in. The rest of the time I'm hanging out in the living room, kitchen, dining room, with my family. Being free from suffering, enjoying my relationships, being available and happy... Thats how I applied the distinctions I learned in the Forum. Worth every penny and every second!

I prepaid for a landmark service a couple of years ago and decided not to take the course due to an unexpected expense. They did not refund me the money for the course. I finally realized i can take them to court for it, and they finally refunded me 5 years later after they realized it was going into public records. They have not apologised for the unneeded stress they put on me and my family. This is incredibly dishonest and greedy behavior. I had a hunch what they teach is useless since the person that recommended it has gained an additional 30 pounds since shes done the courses.

Transformative for me. 18 years later, I've forgotten much of the "lingo", but still find myself deeply impacted by the teaching. Very empowering.

The Landmark Forum and Advanced Course are easily the best investments I have ever made in myself over a decade ago. Complete Gamechanger! The education taught me to take 100 percent responsibility for my life and there is freedom and fulfillment in being able to access that anytime I want. Landmark created a safe immersive experience for me to realize who I am at my core as someone who can make a difference in the world as a bold leader... and to be honest I have been unstoppable as that since I took the Forum in 2003. You will not regret it. Millions of people around the world have done the Forum and have gone on to share how it beats everything else. Just do it!

I have taken a few different personal development seminars and have received value from pretty much all of them. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about Landmark Forum. Prior to attending, I had heard mixed reviews about Landmark, but there are mixed views about just about everything on the web so I figured I would give it a try. Critical thinking was prohibited. No one was given the opportunity to voice any other opinions and when they did, they were ridiculed, cut off and berated. Many cried. We were told we were broken, trapped and there was nothing we could do and nothing would ever get better for us. That the only way was through "transformation" that only landmark could provide. Half the course was literally sales training on how to recruit others for the program and whoever didn't do this, was not living for others and would never achieve "transformation". When we were not being told and trained to sign others up, we were told that the only way for lasting transformation was to sign up for the advanced course and the rest of the curriculum. So, if you want to spend $900 to recruit and grow their organization, then sign up. If not, you may want to pass. Oh and unlike almost all other personal development programs, there is a no refund policy. That should have been a red flag.

This is a personal development program like no other. When I first was told about this place I thought it was a lot of hype smoke and mirrors but after experiencing the Forum and having such a remarkable breakthrough in my life that nothing else has been able to do I am so happy I came. This is not a cult. Anyone who says that lacks the understanding of what a cult is. Cults take you away from your family and isolate you so that you can be conditioned with some ideal. Landmark brings you closer to your family as you are with a clearer view of who YOU are not any ideal or agenda. There is no religion no agenda just plain old looking at your life and learning tools to help you recognize what you do to stop yourself so you can transform it. When you are ready to succeed in your life by exposing your blindspots so you can make them vanish and be an unstoppable force you come here. You will experience a freedom you never had before and life will be seen with the blinders off for the first time. You will be closer to your family and learn to recognize yourself from both the inside and outside perspective so that you are clear on how to be the best of you there can be. If you participate in the various programs you will just strengthen your own personal development and although it seems hard to believe they can do this in a weekend it really does happen. I have seen complete introverts come out the weekends as a confidant smiling and unstoppable leader. I have seen so many powerful transformations. Personally in my forum I was able to overcome a phobia I had all my life. I built a biy

A friend paid for me to attend. Reminded me of a mixture of tactics from my time as a Jehovah’s Witness where they create group coercive peer pressure and pulpit bullying for those who don’t comply or challenge what’s on stage. For individuals with trauma pasts, their curriculum will actively seek out retraumatization as evidence of the powerfulness of their lesson plan. It's morally irresponsible. You may get an emotional high from participating, but I imagine that has more to do with the effective emotional manipulation tactics they employ through isolating you from outside connection for hours at a time, abusive withdrawal for lack of compliance, and intense group acknowledgement and rewards during compliance. It may add value for some people but I look back at how I felt and things I felt pushed into while there and actively cringe. They actively cheapen it by continuously making overtures for sales of additional products at the end of the seminar while actively requiring you to bring a friend to graduation on the fourth day where they’ll get a special discount for joining. They actively ask people to hide uncomfortable things during that last session to show others how great their time was. Everything about this place is a red flag.
