⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4-Star Review — Landry’s Seafood Kitchen, Corpus Christi, TX My visit to Landry’s Seafood Kitchen in Corpus Christi was a warm and welcoming experience from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere felt inviting, and the service truly stood out — our waiter, Josh, was phenomenal. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of without ever feeling rushed. We started off with the spinach artichoke dip, and it was a great choice. The chips that come with it are lightly seasoned, which adds an extra touch of flavor that really elevates the dish. For the main courses, I ordered the three-piece catfish, the blackened fish tacos, and a kids cheeseburger with fresh steamed vegetables. Everything came out tasting fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen puts care into what they serve. Overall, it was a great dining experience that genuinely blew me out of the water. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

We were glad we visited Landry’s Kitchen on the evening of the 25th, especially since very few restaurants were open at the time. We ordered the blackened redfish, shrimp tacos, and the broiled seafood platter. Because the restaurant was extremely crowded and closing early, we did have a long wait for our food. However, once it arrived, it was absolutely worth it — everything was extremely flavorful and well prepared. Despite the wait, the quality of the food really stood out. We would definitely come back again.

The service was great, the food was good. Had the red beans and rice and while it was definitely filling, i feel it was lacking a little more seasoning. I've had the same fish at Babins and I swear it tasted better there. It was still good though and so we're the shrimp kisses. Waitress was awesome and made sure I had everything i needed when I needed it.

First time here. I only travel to the area once a year. So it was a different establishment last time. The interior and decoration and design were nice. Our server was super on point. He was very attentive. He was personable and did a great job. Not that I would think he would have done bad. He service was above and beyond. I believe the name on the receipt was Skyler. The food was good I had the seafood broil. All of it was great the seasoned vegetables were fantastic. I also had some fried oysters. Not bad but could have been a little bigger and or less batter. Again not that they were bad. The gumbo was a little salty for me. I am not a salt guy. I recommend this place. The menu is small and not cluttered. To me that tells me that they are good at their menu and all their food will be great regardless of what you get. I will come back again. Great job!

Came here for my birthday lunch with my sister. Our server Lee was the best! He went out of his way to accomadate us and ensure that our experience was to complete to our expectations from beginning to end. He anticipated our every need and carried out our requests to the best of his ability. Highly recommend Landry's Kitchen. Especially with Lee as your server. We enjoyed the Fried Seafood platter and the Calamari. Please note that some items on the seafood platter were a little salty for our taste but we highly recommend the calamari.

We came in a few days ago and this was some of the best food and service I have had in such a long time. Alexa was wonderful and very entertaining. Thank you for being amazing! I have a lot of food allergies and could eat happy and safe here. We got the boiled peel and eat shrimp, which was sooooooo yummy!!!

Food was delicious and our server Josh was super friendly, welcoming, and attentive! It was our first time at Landrys and we couldn’t have had a better time!

I love the atmosphere of this place. There are several seating options: table, booth, and bar. The bar seating is not just a seat AT the bar, but it’s tall tables and chairs that’s good for 2 people. This is great coz, you don’t have to wait long for a table. The service is great. Our servers were nice and friendly, and prompt. The food my husband and I were served at a reasonable time. The food however is a different story. I’m not saying it’s bad, it’s “okay”. We loved the calamari. It was tender and seasoned perfectly and the batter was just right. The Peel and Eat shrimp is seasoned, and the shrimp was not plump. It was good, but I prefer the regular peel and est shrimp. I also ordered the clam chowder, and I was not impressed. My husband ordered something akin to a fried fish fillet, now that one was good; but fried food always tastes good. The one things that hubby and I both loved was the Key Lime pie! I won’t be back, but I still encourage you to try it for yourself.

We decided to try this restaurant tonight since we had heard good things about it. Located in the old Joe's Crab Shack space on SPID, it wasn't busy at all when we walked in on a Wednesday night. The restaurant is not large, but decorated beautifully but casually like NOLA in New Orleans with dark woods and barrels for lights. We gave our drink orders and studied the menu. First thing we noticed was the prices....very reasonable for a seafood restaurant! They have lots of choices, including steaks and chicken. We ordered a fried seafood platter and shrimp pontchartrain. The fried platters all come with fries and coleslaw, the shrimp came with veggies and rice. Both entrees were excellent, very tasty and large portions for the money. The fish on the seafood platter had a thin crunchy coating and melted in your mouth. Shrimp were ok and the oysters were tiny. Coleslaw on the seafood platter was unremarkable. The French fries were hot and crisp and the veggies were sautéed well. The hush puppies were oddly sweet. Tartar sauce tasted homemade. Our server was friendly and efficient without hovering. We will go back! Total for two entrees and two beers was $53.18

This restaurant is literally a boat--and the views are just as impressive as the setting. Surrounded by water, it's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.The service was friendly and smooth. I ordered the pasta, which was flavorful and satisfying. Great for a laid-back meal with a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!

Sat at the bar, Saturday afternoon. Not too busy so made quick timing to order. Got the Tilapia Bianca and it was amazing. Restaurant was clean and everyone was friendly.

Went there for lunch the atmosphere was calm, relaxing. The food was amazing and our waitress. Alexa was awesome!

Waiter: Jeremy was amazing! Super attentive and made awesome recommendations for our first time here. Thank you for the amazing service. Ambiance: very calm and quiet we went around noon so not many people but I see it get packed almost every night. Food: was excellent. The spinach was not your basic spinach artichoke dip it was better how exactly I have no clue but it had flare that we will definitely be coming back for. The Caesar salad was good a lot of dressing but still good. The shrimp and fish was a light fish taste not overpowering and the shrimp was buttery and had a hint of lemon.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible Happy hour is only at the bar. Not in the dining room. Bought nachos as an appetizer. All chips no nachos. Very disappointed. In this place. Won't be back for sure.

Always a great experience at Landry's Kitchen. Great food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and at a great price point. We had Alexa as our server on our last visit, and she was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Can't wait for our next visit.

I was nervous to come because of the reviews but I'm glad I came. The service was pleasant and friendly and the food was delicious. Our server was Monaire, she was so sweet and full of personality. We ordered fried zucchini, blackened redfish and shrimp and a house salad. It was really delicious. We also had beer on draft, which was cold and crisp. The complementary bread was so good, it was like a baguette. We will definitely be back.

Food was fresh and delicious! Sat in the outside patio which was such a nice atmosphere. LEE was our server and was so kind, attentive and such s pleasure to have as our server. He was definitely top notch!

Service was excellent. Our waiter - Cameron was great but I was really impressed with the manager. She checked the table, asked for genuine feedback and seemed to really care about the restaurant. Ambiance is great. Menu is well rounded with several non-seafood options.

The food is way overpriced and just averages. We ordered blackened redfish red crawfish etouffe, coconut shrimp, and shrimp kisses. We order these at the Landey's downtown and they are not similar at all. The redfish was over cooked and dry. Crawfish was not fresh. Definitely frozen and tasted really bad. This food here is not fresh. We wont be back

The seafood was fresh, service was excellent, and everything went essentially flawlessly.

We had a great experience! We started with the stuffed jalapeños, which had a delicious seafood stuffing and were served with ranch--so good. We also tried the shrimp kisses, which were bacon-wrapped, pepper jack cheese and jalapeño stuffed, with a tasty barbecue chipotle glaze. For the main course, we shared the mixed grill--salmon, grilled shrimp, chicken, mushrooms, rice, and a veggie medley. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The customer service was also excellent--friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

In town for work and stopped in. Broiled mahi mahi was really good not overcooked and dry. Must be recently opened cause waitstaff still seems a bit off. But I'd go back next time in town.

This restaurant was good. Wanted to try something new in the area and our food was great. I had a salmon caesar salad and my fiancé had the broiled seafood platter. The service was good as well as we went on a Sunday at lunch. The drinks were okay. We had a bloody mary and mimosa and the mimosa was not my favorite but the bloody mary was good. Ambiance was nice as well. Had a nice table outside and lots of room for kids and families.

Mangers were making sure everything was good. Trying new things and wanted input on there meals, service was good . Appetizer was great calamari Seafood platter was good, my date loved her salmon seated. Was on point Thanks Kevin Jacob

The food, the service from Lee, our waiter, and the ambience were all amazing. Lee deserves special recognition for making sure our experience (with 6 people in our party), was unforgettable.

For a seafood place on the coast, its not very good. Should have known by the lack of people dining inside. The IPA battered fish was ALL batter and bad taste.

K, so I worked at M&S for twelve years & I saw the pasta & so me & my partner made the executive decision to to come here for the first time. Hushpuppies:9/10 not my best I ever had but still good af Shrimp kisses: 4/10 too much sauce on them. Luke warmish Pasta: FIRE 10/10 paid 2$ extra for extra sauce but ... idk Coconut shrimp: 7/10 a little small & too much coconut Drinks: 10/10 Madison:13/10 Country: 15/10 All in all. Really good time. Probably be back.

The food was tasty and portion size was fair, and that's all the good. The wait time was over 45 minutes but to be fair it was opening week and the staff was still in need of training. The manager she was kind and did her best to make things right but they were not quite ready for prime time. The cooks didn't have enough food on hand and they ran out of certain foods, but that's on management. Wait till the crowd dies down before you go!!!

Went to eat after the hype of a new restaurant simmered down. Place was packed. We got seated right away and got our food right away. Calamari for appetizer I had shrimp n fish platter. Hubs had seafood platter. The fish is nicely seasoned n meaty. Very good fish. The shrimp was also good but on the small side. You get lots of fries,too many. Sure wish they had white gravy for dipping fries. Our server was great and stayed on top of things. Hostess ladies are friendly. Prices are ok. Place is clean, definitely will go back .

Food is good and hot, fresh tasting. Coleslaw is a no the taste if it was off. Stuffed shrimp needs more flavor on the bland side and was missing an herb. Upper management was present some friendlier than the others I think when you see a customer dinning especially alone could speak and make your guest feel welcome I sat over 15 minutes until I was acknowledged I had to engage the conversation to break the ice

Great service, great food! Amazing price. Lived in Corpus Christi for 4 years. Came back 4 years later and Landry's in the new spot to go to!

I had lunch at the bar, it was really good the house salad was a meal alone. Pasta with cream sauce was really good too. There was more than enough food and excellent service.

The pricey shrimp kisses and onion rings were cold had to send back. Then onion strings were still cold. The over priced margarita was ok. The stuffing was so mushy and had no flavor. The shrimp were small. Seems like everything came from frozen. Will probably not return.

The reception lady was utterly rude. She yelled at us for coming through a back door. Well. We arw not come back through any door.

Casper was a great server, attentive and friendly. food was delish as usual. One of our favorite spots.

Every year we head out to Mustang Island for my sons birthday. On the way home we stop off at Joe's Crab Shack, we were surprised to see Landrys Kitchen had taken over the spot. We decided to give it a try since my sons only wish was for the beach and seafood and it had a pretty cool vibe. Unfortunately, it left us VERY disappointed. My son had the fried seafood platter, the fries were limp and soggy, no seasoning on the shrimp, fish or clams. The coleslaw was also very bland. My sons girlfriend had the boiled seafood platter, she also said the food had no seasoning. I had the coconut shrimp and fried cod. The shrimp was tiny and the cod was like rubber with no seasoning. The dip for the coconut shrimp was the highlight of the plate. My husband had the fish and chips, same complaint about the fish and same complaint about the fries from both of us. My son said the Dr. Pepper had a very strange taste, and our sweet teas were warm. Thr waiter was nice and attentive, we did not complain about our food. I did not want to ruin our meal anymore than it already was. I was really hoping for a good experience for my sons 20th birthday. We will not be back.

Service was extremely slow with nothing done to make up for over 1/2 hour with no server at table and no water.

Calamari was very good. Then Ceasar Salad had a funky taste. We both had the IPA Fish & Chips, it was horrible, the Cole Slaw was bad. They accept Landry's Card and do Military discount. Yet not together. The food is VERY OVER PRICED!! For lunch our cost was $60!!! Needless to say we won't be going back there again.

Place has a really cool vibe. Service was good. It's a nice restaurant it's just the fried fish batter and beer batter was not good at all, really weird taste. I am not a picky eater, I could not finish it.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I understand that the landrys downtown is different then landrys kitchen but what I experienced was insane. I notice that there are the same workers from joes and like always they are still rude and slow. Tiffany is the worst server. I as a costumer did not apreciate the tone she had and needless to say i wqas in the booth right behind the server station they had and overheard her being completely rude and talking about the costumers and her employees. the management especially were so disrespectful to a little girl that i guessed works or worked there and would let her leave from the front it was the worst experience ever especially how they treated her and her empoylees, as im using the bathroom I over hear a costumer being so disrespectful to an employee as well!! this is such a unprofetional place and needs new managment and hires!!!

I love trying new places and this was one of the best that I've tried as you walk in the atmosphere is fantastic, the restaurant is nice and clean. People are friendly, we were greeted right away with a genuine smile. We didn't have to wait long for a table. Our waitress was outstandingly super friendly ready to serve, something I look for when in a restaurant. We ordered nachos with grilled chicken, OMG their unique way of serving nachos was amazing. We could've eaten that as a meal instead of an appetizer I won't spoil the surprise but if you ever go, I highly recommend trying the nachos. My husband had grilled tilapia the presentation on the plate was spectacular. I had a grilled plate which came with grilled shrimp, grilled salmon and grilled chicken. I honestly thought it would be too much food for me to eat, but the portions were perfect. I didn't finish at all, but it was delicious. I think we found a new favorite place to eat.
