Loved the atmosphere, good food, amazing views, great service. We got the fish tacos and fish burger and fries. Some high chairs were not stable so that could be improved. Server was very attentive and friendly. The drink mixed with strawberry daiquiri and Pina colada was very sweet although we couldn't taste the alcohol, but still nice. We spent about $60 incl. tax and tip

This area needs an air-conditioned area when the temperature rises. No one wants to be in the heat after being in the heat all day. The kitchen took over an hour to get our food out. Tiffany was an amazing server and very helpful. The food was good but the time made it much less enjoyable.

This was a great spot for a couple drinks and appetizer. We are camping here and could be at Margaritaville and not stop at a bar!!! We had the taco nachos and they did not disappoint!

Google
Great restaurant right on the edge of Lake Lanier. We went for a quick lunch in the sun and wasn't disappointed. Service was top notch and the food was fresh and plentiful. The nachos was probably some of the best we've had in the US (who knew!). We will definitely be back.

This is a fun restaurant and bar. Our bartender is great, a wonderful woman working hard. It is hard to figure out how to get here, we parked in a large parking lot, walked down over 50 steps, across a bridge, through a sandy area, and it was worth it. Quite pricey at $16 per margarita, but they are large and tasty. We did not eat here.

I recently visited LandShark Bar & Grill with my family to enjoy Labor Day,and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. We are a family of people of color, and my parents, who don't speak English fluently, joined us for what we hoped would be a relaxing meal. However, we were left waiting for over an hour without anyone taking our order. When we finally requested service, the waiter dismissed us for another 30 minutes. Meanwhile, we noticed other customers, who were seated after us, had their orders taken promptly. This left us feeling that we were being treated unfairly, and it seemed like a case of racial bias. Thankfully, when we asked a different waiter to take our order, she was incredibly sweet and apologetic. She checked on us several times during the meal to see if we are doing well. After the bill came, the total came out to $93 but the empathetic waiter gave us a 25% discount. But as I said before, my family took this as a racist treatment towards us. The waiter that was nice to us was black and I think she understand our circumstances. In summary, while the atmosphere and entertainment were wonderful, the initial experience with the service left us feeling disappointed and uncomfortable. I hope the management addresses these issues so that no one else has to feel the way we did.

The Thanksgiving buffet was delicious. Our server was so nice and even though it was a buffet she still came by and asked if we needed anything, refill our drinks, etc. We got the food delivered to our campsite a few times and it was always delicious and came quickly.

We ordered three fish sandwiches, but the fish in two of them wasn't cooked properly. The lemon cake also tasted stale. While the service was excellent, the food was disappointing.

Yelp
This is a restaurant offered by Magaritaville, a resort inside Lake Lanier. To access this restaurant, you have to pay , to get into Magaritaville. We visited during off season, and everything (rides, rentals, services, amusement park stuff) is close. Hence, no charge to get into Magaritavilla, and to get to this restaurant. This is a themed restaurant. Its a beach house, with burgers, fish, and chip. The menu is pretty basic. We had the fish n chip , the philly cheesesteak, and the chicken tender. The food is 3 stars. Definitely frozen stuff to fryer, to over, etc etc. The food is meh. But you are here, for the vibe. Its late October, its 75F , the leaves are turning, and the lake is calm, its quiet. That's what you are paying for. The view, the vibe, the feel of being on a beach, without 5h of driving.

Yelp
The server was a nice guy, friendly and seemed pretty authentic. The food was just ok. The problem I had with the place is that it was basically all the bad aspects of being outdoors while being indoors(ish). I was camping, so in my one dinner out, I would have liked not to be sweating and swatting while trying to eat. I'm not sure what the solution is, but the flies were swarming. And it was so hot, and we didn't get what little A/C they had back in the kitchen, and we didn't get the outdoor breeze either. Worst of both.

Yelp
We visited LandShark Bar and Grill during our stay at Camp Margaritaville. Overall we were a little disappointed with the overall LandShark Landing as the hype in the advertisements/social media promoted it to be an energetic nightlife scene with music, vibes, etc., which was not even close to real life. LandShark Bar and Grill had decent food, but it is nothing more than a B level "chain" restaurant in desperate need of deep and regular cleaning. We visited for dinner and were surprised in the condition of the restaurant. Nothing memorable, but has the potential to be a great/fun destination.

Yelp
This place must be managed by brain dead. There is a beach, there are chairs, but there are no umbrellas. You could literally pack this beach with 1000 people if you had proper setup.

Yelp
season member, mostly all the lake tables were open but they decided to put us on a 30 min wait list Saturday because the "kitchen was backed up." Manager should be instructing the hosts to say, "you are free to sit, enjoy the lake view tables and order drinks but food might take a minute." So much better than turning us away, clean up your act! We went to the bar, ordered food and it came before the text message saying my table is ready. Terribly run, half the place empty and you aren't sitting people. CLUELESS!

Yelp
Was out on the boat with family and we decided to stop for lunch at Landshark/ Margaritaville. Love the FRIED PICKLES! If you like seafood, go for the CRISPY SHRIMP BASKET. I quite liked the CHICKEN TENDERS. (The inner child in me was screaming for excitement.) ENJOY! PS: If you can sit outside and people watch!
google avatar

Michael K.

Yelp
The food was sub par. The service was extremely slow! Not really worth the time a prices for a lake view. This is bar food and we were at the water park and did not want to sit at lunch all day.

Yelp
The people at landshark were amazing we have a huge 4th of July event with 38 family members that come in each year and we spent the day at margaritaville. When we asked about seating and accommodation due to the large party and let them know we didn't have to sit together they pulled it off and Misty the manager on was spectacular by far! She worked so well to get everyone in so we could at least eat at the same time! Kudos to the team and working so hard and being so hot out! Cheers we will be back for sure and way to go misty!

Yelp
stunning lake view! best appetizers and desert dinner! great date spot....plus!!! gabbi makes the best drinks on the lake!

Yelp
It was dead on a Monday afternoon, not much atmosphere. Drinks are expensive, average of $16. Food is expensive for what you get. $17 for 8 tiny wings, $17 for 3 mahi tacos that were just ok. $17 for frozen breaded shrimp that were yuck and comes with frozen fries. I realize it's a resort place, costs of food are higher but at least make it worthwhile.

Yelp
I live in. Florida and have been to several Landshark locations. We were visiting Lake Lanier on a hot summer day and decided to give this location a try. (It's also really the only casual dining option available once you enter the Margaritaville area.). It is similar to other Landshark locations; open air dining with a patio that overlooks the lake, Jimmy Buffet/tropical decor, and jimmy Buffet videos and tunes playing throughout the establishment. When we went the restaurant was only about 1/3 full. We were seated on the patio and given menus and water within a reasonable amount of time. The menu is what you"d expect: burgers, seafood, tacos, nachos, and salads. Plus they have a full bar and lots of specialty tropical drinks available. My sister ordered a beer, and my daughter and I just ordered water. Someone messed up; and the food runner brought over 2 beers. We said we didn't order it; and they said to just keep it.....so I broke my diet and forced myself to have a beer. It was cold and refreshing! I ordered the Caribbean Chicken Salad which came with blackened chicken, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, tortilla chips, candied pecans, and a mango ranch dressing. It was a large portion, and really quite good although I did have to ask for an extra cup of dressing to add to it. It was reasonably priced at $13.99. My sister ordered the Landshark burger and she opted for a side salad instead of fries. She said hers was good; although she wanted to cut it up, (salad style without the bun,) and it took a really long time to get someone's attention to come over and bring her silverware. My daughter had the chicken breast with a small Caesar salad and mixed veggies. She liked it and took half of her chicken home because it was a big portion. The restaurant was clean however when I asked to use the restroom we were told that it is not actually inside the restaurant; but in the building out the front door and around the side. It seems to be the same bathroom facilities that people using the waterslides and beach are using and the bathroom area was pretty disgusting inside. I am not going to go into details but I was very glad that I had some tissues in my purse because there was no toilet paper in the stall. This definitely took my review down a bit because the women's bathroom actually looked like it had not been cleaned or serviced for days! I realize that the restaurant and bathrooms are separate things.....but I would imagine many restaurant patrons would like to use these facilities to at least wash their hands before dining. Someone is not doing their job!

Yelp
Thank you for a nice evening. We enjoyed the cool drinks & good food. Best of all...thank you to our great server!

Yelp
After reading the other reviews we weren't sure if we wanted to come here.... Glad we decided to give it a try! We had a great time! Madison, our server was super friendly, polite and attentive. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect! We will be back!

Yelp
Can I just start out with a Birthday shout-out to MYSELF I'm definitely feeling my age between the sun n the water... but I'm going to keep this review for the Resturant & not park There's definitely been a stay flow of people in n out for the past 2 hours & there's other options be it that they r fast food. I had the Korean Buffalo Shrimp which is really beer battered shrimp tossed in buffalo sauce. I was so hungry that I didn't care that they were mediocre only that there were like 12 of them. I followed that up with the blacken salmon which main seasoning was salt. Please understand that this is not me complaining... it just happens to b my birthday & Y'all know how much I enjoy really GOOD FOOD. My friend had the Hawaiian burger & took all the toppings off. That's never a good sign. But if you bring your appetite like I did. Nothing else will matter

Yelp
I went to LandShark because I was staying at the Legacy Lodge for the weekend for a conference. The beach by LandShark is the free beach access area for when you stay at any of the Lanier Island properties. I really like that the area does offer chairs on a first come first served basis. I brought an umbrella with me that could easily attach to the chair for additional shade. They do not provide towels in this area so plan accordingly. I brought my own as I did not expect them to provide towels for use at the beach. I am currently on crutches and my trip was planned months before that was the case. It was a little difficult for me to get to the beach area because of the steep incline BUT I was happy there was at least a ramp most of the way down to the beach. I did have to traverse a shorter staircase to get on the beach. I sent my partner to get me a frozen drink from the Tiki Bar to enjoy while I relaxed in my chair. He pulled up the menu online for me and I picked the drink. He came back with one for each of us but said they were over $30. I asked him how if they were listed on their website as $10.50. He had asked the cashier and she said the price was actually $15 each and she'd let her manager know the prices were wrong on the website. She mentioned the prices recently increased and the website must not be accurately reflecting the new prices. We were fine with that but do know if you're looking at their prices online they they may not be 100% accurate. Our drinks were very good though and I would definitely come back to enjoy drinks and the beach. We wanted to eat lunch at LandShark's indoor restaurant but the wait was nearly an hour around 2:30pm on a Sunday. So do plan accordingly if you have little ones or someone who needs to eat on a schedule. We could not wait an hour to eat and left the property to try to find food elsewhere. I would like to say thank you to the staff that works in the LandShark area from the restaurant, tiki bar to the rentals and marina. I had several staff members ask if they could assist me or carry my bag up the long ramp back to the parking lot as I struggled on my crutches. This was the only location on the entire Lanier Island property that staff offered to help me at all. I watched where the young man who offered to help me was actually stationed to work and it was in the marina area. This young man didn't have to offer to help me since I wasn't even using the actual marina area but he took it upon himself to go above and beyond. THANK YOU! It's the little things that go such a long way to make a good impression. I appreciate the staff in this area of the property being more attentive to those with additional needs.

Yelp
Food was not cooked on-site, side vegetables were actually served in plastic containers, fried fish and snrimpmwere reheated from frozen, lukewarm and tadted poor

Cade F.

Yelp
Service was extremely weak. This is the last place on the lake I had yet to try. It's absolutely dead last in my ranking. Right below ordering dominos to the closest ramp. The staff is extremely unprofessional, never refilled drinks, rarely checked back with us even though the place was practically empty. 1 member of our party got their food 10 minutes behind us and it was shrimp and fries. Never got refills, had to wait around for a check for 15+ minutes (still haven't seen our server as I write this). To top it off the food is subpar but certainly nowhere near what you'd expect for the price.

Brody D.

Yelp
Service was wonderful!! Everyone was so kind and helpful, especially Caitlin in the gift shop. I would recommend everyone to come here.10/10

Cristin H.

Yelp
Every time we go to this restaurant it will be dead empty and a waitress will come up arguing with another waitress about whose table it is this has happened three times seriously then they added brunch to the menu let me tell you about their brunch buyer beware disgusting . After 30 minutes and no one in the restaurant my burrito was brought out frozen they offered to even add bacon for me and after another 30 minutes my husband's food was done and my new burrito came and let me tell you it was nothing to write home about. This place needs serious new management and new staff and new training and according to my husband they have got to get some new breakfast taters so if you like cardboard the wrong eggs and frozen burritos this is your place

tod h.

Yelp
While I know it's still technically "the off season" but you are open for business and that business includes waiting on customers timely and attentively. While the hostess was great and seated us right away the service level went down hill from there. After about 15 minutes at the table we had to ask for a waitress to take our orders. When the waitress did come to the table it was like we were interrupting her day and she could not believe we wanted food and drinks! All in all one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. Will not be back!

Yelp
I didn't expect much coming to this restaurant, however, they still did not meet expectations. They were not busy at all, and they found a way to take 40 minutes to get our drink orders. The ambience was pleasant, and I personally enjoyed being outside. But, if it is cold, do not come to this restaurant. Lastly, the food was mediocre. Still a little less than what I was expecting. I got the fish sandwich and the sandwiches itself was cold. The phrase that I ordered with the sandwich were crunchy due to there may be being sand in my fries. My fries, in addition to having sending them were cold as well. I'm giving this restaurant a two star rating not only because they did not meet my already low expectations, but they also seem to not care and took forever to give us our food. I personally do not recommend coming here unless if you are staying at the park.

Yelp
It's an average lakeside bar with typical bar food and drinks. Nothing special. Nothing horrible. It's your only option so you'll have it, especially after drinking on the water. Be warned even if you dock and pay the fee you will still need to pay to get to bathrooms here and have access to restaurant so be prepared. Small $10 fee but you'll have to pee in the water otherwise. TVs inside with games on. Service is efficient and we had no problems with a table of 8 people splitting tabs etc.

Sharon S.

Yelp
Food was good but over priced. Service was slow as they were short servers. Will probably not return.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Restaurant wasn't busy so we a party of 3, we're seated immediately. Was greeted by Trent and placed our drink orders. He was a superb waiter and very attentive. Food looked great and arrived quickly. My friend's Jerk chicken plate was a little dry he said. My Salmon but was a bit dry as well but the extra jalapeño tartar sauce helped. Also, felt like the portion of the salmon was a bit small for $17.99. The other friend's Fish tacos were above average. Overall the service was good. We were seated outside, socially distance from others and had an amazing view of the docks. (None of the employees were wearing mask if you're conscious about that detail)

Lance R.

Yelp
Terrible experience. Server Rebecca needs to be fired. Completely rude and disrespectful and eager to get us to spend every dollar we have while she's rushing us and doesn't provide good service at all. Dirty dishes left on the table throughout the whole night. She forgot our drinks as well as our appetizers. She told us we needed to "hurry up and order" because she needs to "make her money." The manager is no better because he encourages all the insane activities that go on.

Yelp
The food was amazing I got the king of somewhere burger and it was perfection also the service and people were really nice although it took long it was the best restaurant in Margaritaville island
google avatar

Maddie G.

Yelp
$15 mixed drinks that are not stiff or tasty - only 20oz. Honestly a rip off. They will not give you tap water or a cup of ice to pour your bottle drink over that you just purchased while dining in. All food served in styrofoam and also overpriced. The french fries were good though, I will give them that. A passive aggressive waiter...should I go on?? The only winning factor to Landshark is the prime location on the lake. There's plenty of places to park your boat and the beach is a pretty awesome hangout spot.
google avatar

Kevin Y.

Yelp
I'm all for Landshark. Having not lived on the lake in a while, nor spending a lot of time at the islands vs my friends, came here to see what's up, pricing, food quality. Great service first. Did get a Landshark which I liked- draft was only $4 so that's cool. Just really came to try it out, got some fried pickles and peel and eat shrimp, all good. Waiter was spot on, mostly boaters in as I'm looking for new places to eat by water and just moved back tot he Hall County side of lake. Will update when I spend a bit more money but prices were not outrageous and plenty of severs on a Sunday made it a great snack.
google avatar

Ticia Y.

Yelp
Service was super slow, despite the crowd thinning out considerably for a late 3:30 p.m. lunchtime on a weekday. Landshark wouldn't have been my first choice to eat, but several of the boardwalk (walk-up casual, basket-grab) food places never opened their windows for service, and the other options didn't sound agreeable to our appetite, so that's how we ended up there. Pros: cute and fun atmosphere, not lacking in pretty views. Relatively varied menu to appeal to different tastes. Server was very friendly and anticipated refilling drinks without our having to ask. Cons: (above, long wait for our food), having to leave the restaurant to use nearby port-a-potties, and cost (Myself and two children $40+ lunch is a chunk of cash, after having spent the admissions and parking for Lake Lanier.) If I was on a boat and was brought to Landshark for a sunset drink, yes I would totally be down for that, but I wouldn't opt to eat there again.

William H.

Yelp
Whhh peel and eat shrimp were not deveined. Blah hard to find and a million stairs for mediocre food at best.. disappointing
google avatar

Gabriel P.

Yelp
Okay, so we went here for some good food and views. All in all, it is not a horrible experience. However, they charge an exorbitant amount of money to enter the grounds. They even charged extra since they said it was memorial day. Imagine that, making money off the memory of soldiers who have died for our freedom. But anyway, the restaurant did not have any items really for somebody who is a pescatarian because they said they were sold out of fish and really didn't have any salads left. So it didn't give me a lot of options for me to be able to actually eat. If you are ok with bar food and ok service you'll be ok here. The views were nice and for that, they get 3 stars.
google avatar

Brittney C.

Yelp
I've eaten at the Landshark in Pensacola and it was great but this One was a different story Location: It's located near the water park in lake Lanier so it's easy to get to. Staff: I will say the wait time was very lonnnggg so I went to the actual bar outside of the restaurant and what do you know? Long wait time again! I figured at this point save yourself the hassle and just wait. Service: I wait about 4 minutes and the woman finally came over to me. She took my order and decided to take 6 other beer or liquor orders before completing mine! I mean I couldn't believe it. I finally got my drink and it was good but that's all I was able to get because the food in the restaurant wait was that much longer. If I were to go back it would probably be early in the day before the crowd. the cup was the coolest part about the experience - it's literally a mini blender
google avatar

Travis C.

Yelp
Nothing like "Cheeseburgers in Paradise" at the Landshark Bar & Grill Lake Lanier. The food was excellent, and our waitress, Jessica, was fantastic. She was always checking on us and super fast and friendly. This place has a cool beach atmosphere on the marina. I highly recommend it. Remember, It's 5 o'clock Somewhere, and this is the place to be.

Yelp
Our second year coming. We love the service, the view and the drinks! Last year we came everyday of the week we stayed at Margaritaville RV resort. My favorite drink is the Lava Flow.

Yo S.

Yelp
The wings are my favorite item to order. Since the pandemic happened, it feelsthey are still trying to "get back on track". The service is sometimes good and sometimes lacking. The sunsets are great and help to make you forget the hassles the day and the hassles of being there.
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
Great location, food was okay. Sandwich would have been better if bread were not toasted. Drinks were great and staff friendly.
google avatar

Colette G.

Yelp
View is stunning 5 stars Menu is wannabe tropical trendy 3 stars Food itself was good. Portions bigger than I expected 4 stars Service was ehhh 2 stars Place was empty with plenty of staff, waited long time for waitress. Listen you're stuck in a waterpark, it's a better option than a snack shack. The crazy drunk people though..you need someone to screen them. Like someone to bounce at door. It was 5pm on a Monday. Young 20 somethings tried to come in. Already wasted. Girl barely wearing bikini top with group of other girls caught an attitude and was arguing with the hostess. Hostess barely 20 herself. You need some muscle and hustle at all times at this place since you can drink anywhere. It's more about the view and the vibe than the food. I would come back, but for drinks Great place to have drinks. Could look at the view all day.

Eric B.

Yelp
Service was less than desirable. Was seated and waited 15 minutes before I had to go get someone to get us drinks on a 95 def day. Entry fee to eat was insane at 10 per person!!! Very disappointed food was meh at best
google avatar

Cindi J.

Yelp
Good food, but way overpriced. Service was ok. Not worth the money though. Had better experience at Coastal Breeze down the road for half the price of Land Shark
google avatar

Sheryl E.

Yelp
I am really surprised at all the good reviews for the food. The water was good and refreshing but that's about it. We had the fish tacos, shrimp, chicken tenders and beer battered fish. All were way overpriced and just tasted like pre frozen cheap crap. O Charleys is better and that's not saying much.
google avatar

Jun R.

Yelp
Can't beat $5 margaritas. We had the fish tacos and philly steak sandwich both were very tasty and delicious especially with mango frozen margaritas. The service was excellent and the porch seating had a fantastic view of the lake.

Jennifer B.

Yelp
I would like to start my review by mentioning that my father was the host of a party of 6. When he arrived he was told he had to wait 2 hours for a table. Obviously we understood that on the busiest day of the year there's a long wait so we grabbed some drinks and there wasn't any issues until we got our table and got seated. At this point it was about 6:30pm. We got a patio table and a server named Rebecca. Her first disservice was rarely coming back to check on us and when she did, it was to have an attitude about how long we were planning to be at the table, and never pre-bussed unless we asked her to. She took our first round of drinks and appetizers and everything was fine until she came back to ask us about entrees. She became visibly angered by us not wanting to order yet. My uncle made the comment of "we're gonna be here all night" meaning we have lots of time to order food and we'd rather do another round of drinks. To which she replied that she needed her table once we were done eating. At this point she had already mentioned to my husband that she works 3 jobs and gets confused by which places serve what soft drinks. No problem right everyone respects the hustle. But clearly we see that you're trying to rush us from the table. At this point the attitude is fully showing when she comes back to ask about entrees again but we chose to order another set appetizers. Apparently when i stepped away to use the restroom my dad was approached by her stating " if we didn't order entrees or another round of drinks we need to leave" my dad responded back by asking to speak to a manger since we were still waiting on the second round of appetizers. The manager never showed up to speak with us directly he appeared an hour later wiping tables and quickly walking by asking how the food was. By this point its 8:30pm and we're being told that there was a 5 hour wait and thats why the appetizers were taking longer than usual. (A 5 hour wait for a restaurant that closes in 2.5 hours...ok). Each time we asked for another round of drinks someone's drink was forgotten or the order wasn't placed and we had to ask again. And her response every single time was "you'll have to give me a minute/second." By the end of the fireworks show when it was time for the tip to be written on the bill that is when the "thank you sir" was used and the smile was present. The food tasted great, but it sucks that we cant add the fried fish from the appetizers on to a taco and that they ran out of the shrimp tacos. As for ambiance love the seating and patio view. All in all, Rebecca clearly doesn't care about the $350+ tab our table had or providing an experience on 4th of July... she just wants her tip. I highly recommend an hourly/salary job. That attitude is perfect for the DMV :)

Yelp
Was told 10 minutes to be seated. Took 30 min. Sat us and didn't ask what drinks we wanted. No service so we left

Yelp
What a fantastic environment! Beautiful view and amazing service. Raven is a great server so make sure to ask for her. She actually lit the tiki torches for us and is the life of the party. The wings are great and the skinny margarita with patron is recommended.

Yelp
We were staying on property for my daughter's wedding a few days later and tried this place. Mistake. The only thing good about it was that we were all together enjoying our company. They have used Covid as an excuse to make a buck. Every other restaurant now serves on regular plates, etc. for dining in. Not here. You get served in to-go styrafoam and when you ask for water, they will only sell it to you. So we spent $18 on 6 bottles of water. What a scam. Avoid this place and go into town. Did I mention the food was just so-so?

Yelp
Loved it! Impressive Lanier Island. Wow- life is good. Ever since the famous Margarita Ville chain bought this place this year it's apparent they have put a lot of money, time and effort to make improvements. You'll wish you brought a swimsuit to jump into the water. There is plenty of seating throughout Margaritaville Beaches and near the fire pits as well. We came for the monthly full moon party with fireworks. The nachos were large. The fish and chips were cooked just right and the shrimp tacos were delicious. I brought a big group of friends & family to celebrate my daughters birthday. We relaxed as we listened to live music under the stars, under the covered patio and watched the fireworks. They charge a $10 cover charge for the Full moon parties and a $15 parking/front gate fee, if you're not there for the waterpark. So we carpooled. It's a large restaurant so pack your patience. I recommend you ask for your check after you order of you're in a hurry. Otherwise come prepared to chill and hang loose.
