"On the 7th floor of La Samaritaine, in the heart of the swanky Cheval Blanc Hotel, this smart brasserie, part of the Langosteria group, marries Italian cucina with a chic urbane vibe. Its spacious elegant dining room welcomes hotel residents and a well-heeled clientele who come to sample its seafaring menu. Examples include refined crudos (tartare of yellowtail, gambero rosso) and pasta to die for: spaghetti with Galician sea urchins, paccheri with line-caught seabass, capers, olives and Amalfi lemons. Among the decadent desserts, the orange, grapefruit and limoncello meringue soufflée is a highlight. Swish service and a knockout wine list: a place to eat and be seen!" - Michelin Inspector

Our Favourite Rooftop Spots in Paris to Eat, Drink, and Enjoy

"It's not quite a rooftop, but this restaurant perched at the top of La Samaritaine and part of the magnificent Cheval Blanc hotel, has a vast panoramic terrace affording breathtaking views over the River Seine and the centre of Paris. The menu takes its cues from Italian cuisine putting fish and seafood in the limelight — always a hit in the heat of summer!" - The MICHELIN Guide

We celebrated my mom's and aunt's birthdays at Langosteria, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The service was outstanding, and the food exceeded expectations. The restaurant also offers one of the most beautiful city views, complemented by elegant holiday décor that adds to the overall ambiance. Langosteria has an impressive selection of oysters, making it an excellent choice for oyster enthusiasts. The menu focuses primarily on seatood, and every dish we ordered (as shown in the photos) was not only delicious but also served promptly. Additionally, they offer a strong and well-curated wine selection. Highly recommended for a special occasion or an elevated dining experience.

Our favorite meal in Paris out of all the great restaurants we tried. Everything was excellent. The caviar made for Langosteria was exceptional. It did not need all the accouterments often sidelining caviar, the crème fraiche was perfect to really enjoy the caviar's flavors. We also enjoyed the Gaja Barbaresco, tartare with foiegras, pappa al pomodoro (meatballs with poleta sticks), grilled otoro, blue lobster, turbot fish, tiramisu, hazelnut lemon meringue souffle. After all that, I can't remember the sides we ordered. The view is spectacular and you can see the Eifel Tower to Sacre Coeur when you walk outside on the patio. Service was very good and attentive from each member. We loved it so much and will return in a few months to savor the phenomenal food, ambience and service

We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and had an amazing experience. The restaurant is beautiful and does have a great view of the Eiffel, but sadly we couldn’t see it from our table. We did get an amazing sunset view when we walked in so I snagged a quick photo! The dinner experience was lovely and felt very upscale — we had great cocktails, a tuna appetizer, oysters and pasta dishes (ice cream for dessert as well!). We ended the night sitting at the bar talking to the friendly staff and got to head outside on the roof deck for a perfect view of the tower sparkling! Overall a really nice experience and a great meal!

Located on the top floor of Cheval Blanc Hotel Paris, this is a fancy Italian restaurant with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The food was good and worth a visit if you’re visiting the city. Extensive wine list at premium prices. We managed to discover a rare Bourgogne blanc at €200.

Langosteria is not a restaurant...it's an experience. The views are incredible. I loved every moment. I arrived at 7pm and stayed just past 10pm. The 7pm light in late August was strong, but it provided incredible photos. We stayed through the sunset and evening light. The atmosphere was fun and lively as the crowd picked up past sunset. The early 7pm was chill but very bright from the sun. I went for my wedding anniversary and would go back again for another special occasion.

Unforgettable experience at Langosteria for my mother’s birthday. The langoustine carpaccio with foie gras is an absolute must — delicate and melt-in-the-mouth. The blue lobster is truly one of a kind, and the red tuna with aubergine is equally delicious. Highly recommend this place for an exceptional dining experience.

The Langosteria is an exceptional venue offering a breathtaking panoramic view over Paris. Located inside the luxurious Cheval Blanc, it combines elegance with a truly refined atmosphere. The service is of the highest standard, with staff who are not only professional and attentive but also genuinely welcoming and knowledgeable. Every detail is carefully curated, and the cuisine is simply outstanding — a true highlight of the experience. An absolute must-visit in Paris.

We did not stay at the hotel but decided to visit the rooftop, expecting the level of elegance and exclusivity usually associated with Cheval Blanc. Unfortunately, the experience was far from that. There was a queue at the entrance, people with baby strollers, and the overall scene felt more like the rooftop of Galeries Lafayette or even Disneyland Paris rather than a five star luxury property. We were redirected to the bar at Langosteria where the atmosphere was much calmer. The cocktails were very good and the barman was friendly and professional, which helped to improve the experience. While the location and concept have potential, the rooftop experience did not reflect the sophistication and exclusivity that define the Cheval Blanc brand.
