Stylish Setup, But Pastries Miss the Mark
I really wanted to love Lannan Bakery, as I’ve heard many good things about it and had high expectations going in, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype.
First off, the wait (45 mins) was a bit longer than expected, which, in hindsight, only added to my anticipation. The decor and setup of the place were lovely - clean, modern, and inviting, but when it came to the pastries, I was left feeling a little let down.
We ordered a selection to share, and I was particularly excited to try the almond croissant. Sadly, it was bland and almost tasteless, which was disappointing given the price. I’m happy to pay a premium for quality, but when the food doesn’t deliver, it’s hard to justify.
Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed, especially given how much potential this bakery has. The decor is stylish, the display is very 'instragramable' but the pastries just didn’t do it for me this time. Maybe it was an off day, but I’m not sure I’ll be rushing back.
