New Boston Restaurant Openings, December 2025 | Eater Boston

"Noodle lovers can now slurp handcrafted noodle soup from this shop in the Seaport as well as at the original in Central Square; the Seaport version is a bit more casual, with a smaller menu and no bar, but you can still order all eight different noodle soups, from braised beef or lamb shank to tomato and egg." - Celina Colby

We stopped in for lunch by chance while heading to Popup Bagel, and we’re so glad we did. Our 5-year-old loved the chicken nuggets and couldn’t stop eating them. My spouse ordered the braised beef noodle soup—perfectly balanced, full of flavor, and not too spicy. She chose the classic noodles, and the texture was spot on. I went with the wide noodles and rib, and both the flavor and texture were excellent. I also tried the Longjong dessert. As someone who loves Dragonwell, it was absolutely perfect. The original milk tea was a pleasant surprise as well—tasty without being overly sweet. Overall, we’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend giving this place a try.

super fast and friendly service! i’ve been wanting to try this place and it did not disappoint. broths are light but still have a lot of flavor. we got the lanzhou beef noodle soup, braised beef noodle soup, the soup dumplings, and the fermented rice drink. everything was super good but the rice drink was a personal fav. definitely will come back and try more things :)

Authentic Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Noodles — Beautifully Crafted and Full of Flavor What a hidden gem! The atmosphere is calm and modern, with an open counter where you can watch the chef hand-pull noodles right in front of you — I even captured a short video because it was mesmerizing to watch! The Beef Rib Chili Oil Noodles were incredible — chewy, flavorful, and perfectly coated with chili oil and fresh beef bone. The Soup Dumpling were juicy and tender, served in adorable individual bamboo baskets. Don’t miss their drinks and desserts either — the Longjing Tea Douhua Pudding green was smooth and lightly floral, and the iced Roasted Milk Tea was beautifully presented and refreshing. Service was friendly, the details were thoughtful, and everything felt freshly made with care. Highly recommend if you love authentic Lanzhou noodles and a cozy, elegant dining experience.

Super authentic northwestern Chinese noodle in seaport!! I highly recommend black sesame roasted milk tea and Lanzhou herbal tea. Food wise, we ordered beef rib chili oil noodles (油泼面)and lamb shank noodle soup, both are super great. If only choose one, chili oil noodles is definitely the tier one choice All the noodles are fresh thread. You can even watch chief threading in the kitchen after order! Super fun.

I’ve had the Lanzhou beef noodle soup at multiple places different states. This is decent but there is barely any beef. Like 5 very thin slices. Pork dumpling is a big miss. It’s supposed to be hot and juicy inside instead it’s warm and dry, looks like leftovers from lunch. The presentation was nice but the dumplings is a big miss.

The ramen place we go every week in Cambridge just opened a new spot, and they got some new dishes. Super authentic Lanzhou beef hand pulled noodles. You can see the kitchen, everything’s fresh and clean. Staff are super nice and friendly, prices are good. Me and my husband always love this place!

Authentic Lanzhou noodles. Noodles were freshly pulled. Broth was clear and beefy. You can taste the sichuan peppers. Vinegar and chili oil is available on the table. Parts of my family is from shaanxi, not too far away from Lanzhou, and this is pretty good for the US. Flat noodles were great as well. The lamb skewers were ok, needed a bit more salt, cumin, and chili flakes.
