We just stopped in because they were next door to a concert venue we were attending that night. I gotta say, the food was soon good. I would recommend the corned beef egg rolls. I would go back to Boston for those, don't ever take them off the menu.

The location is perfect for dinner before a show at the MGM at Fenway. The inside seemed dark and cavernous but the outdoor seating was nicely done. There is a good beer selection. We both had the corned beef Reuben, which was also good. Service was the only disappointment. The menu offered grilled chicken sandwiches, as well as buffalo chicken appetizer. I asked if I could get a buffalo chicken sandwich and was told No, they can't do that, which made no sense. The waitress also asked if we wanted homemade chips or fries with the sandwiches and we got one of each. I was surprised when the bill came that I was charged $5 additional for choosing the fries. That should have been mentioned when she offered it. Does it really cost $5 more to make fries than it does homemade potato chips?

Music was great and the bartenders were spectacular. Bouncers threatened violence bc my buddy asked to speak to the band he knew personally for one minute. They'd be better off as ice agents than bouncers. If politely asking for a conversation warrants violence who knows what else they tolerate...

Imagine thinking you can find a better bar in Fenway? Fat chance - best bar for live music, great drinks, and good times. Staff couldn’t be better too - 10/10!

Bought a ticket for the New Year’s Eve party here. This pub was organized perfectly; it wasn’t overly crowded, they had an awesome band, and two bars with no super long lines! However, I wasn’t happy with the service. My friends and I paid for the coat check; the employee working there lost my coat by the end of the night. To summarize, the employee gave away my (rather pricey) winter puffer to the wrong person without checking their coat check number, and after talking with other customers, I wasn’t the only one with this issue. The pub did nothing about it and I was pressured out of the pub by bouncers and staff into 20 below weather, in the snow, at 1:30 am, without proper attire. Since this incident, I’ve tried to get in touch with someone and it’s been radio silence, which is super frustrating considering this whole incident was entirely the pub’s fault.

Came in here while visiting Boston and immediately the bouncers were so rude at the door!!!!! Very rude, unfriendly and inhuman! Came in anyway and sat at the bar. While drinking Pappy Van Winkle at $120/pour and waiting to order food the bouncer comes up again and says he needs to take our chairs. I asked if they are doing it to clean and put them back since we aren’t from here and have never been here. He told me to “use my adult eyes and look, we are changing to a night club.” Such a condescending answer and attitude, I have never been here and how would we know or eat our food without a chair???? So I paid our tab and left and didn’t continue drinking my bourbon or order more food. We went somewhere else! Sad because it’s a neat place and Paris was nice, we wanted to continue with her but can’t deal with such rude people and no chairs to eat. Ridiculous!

Went here on a Wednesday night after watching the Red Sox away playoff game at a bar nearby. Bouncer was friendly no issues there! Bartender not very inviting or friendly. Ordered some drinks and sat down and enjoyed and engaged in the live music. Hours are advertised as 2am every night, however the live music wrapped up and by 10pm they were shutting down. Busy street even for a Wednesday and yet they shut right down. Not impressed. Otherwise the atmosphere seemed great and we would have stayed much longer.

Visted here with my wife last night Bouncers were nice very approachable When we walked in there was no one at the welcome desk and the atmosphere seemed quite casual so I just guessed we could sit where we'd like - it was busy enough due to a lot of gigs on around the area so we just walked to an empty table to sit however we were quite rudely told by a member of staff that we would need a host to seat us so I apologised and walked back to the welcome desk which was still unattended. When we did get seated we got a really nice server and the food we ordered was good as was the cocktail my wife I had. I had a pretty disappointing Guinness which I couldn't really drink so ordered a Sam Adam's which was the Ocktoberfest and was very nice. The bill was reasonable and aside from the weird interaction when we entered everything else was good

Cool pub right near Fenway park. During the day there are lots of tables, outside seating and bar seating. Around 6 or 7 when a game lets out it turns into a night club inside with loud DJ music. Def a cool vibe if you like to dance. We got food and it was decent bar food. My favorite were the cheeseburgers egg rolls. The outside tables are fun to sit and watch the people walking by. I would suggest a stop if you are in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of dining here back in early September while in town for a few days, and I must say it was an absolute delight, we wanted to eat at an irish pub and what else is better than next to the legendary Fenway Park. Dark when you walk in, and takes a minute for your eyes to adjust. The drink selection was good, I like to focus all of my attention on local beers. However on draft were more domestic v/s local craft beers. The only craft I could get was a Pale Ale from Whalers in Rhode Island, which was good. The food was good, no complaints, The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who were genuinely passionate about the menu. They were more than happy to offer recommendations and ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was enjoyable.

They are great here!!! They let me back in after I left cuz my friends and I were still I. Ther but they are good propel! Overall, come to this bar cuz it is the best and a lot of fun!!! Please listen to me about this I've been here a bunch of times and I am being truthful!!!!!!!!

Great meal, Great service, very sociable... had the sampler platter and a lamb kabob with a paneer nan... silky homemade tomato sauce, very aromatic... 5 stars!

Food was delicious and cheap! The waitress was kind and on point for a busy day. The fries were a little salty but it's ok! I would definitely go again for sure!

Absolutely dreadful. Miserable staff. Dark, dirty and unsafe feeling venue. I didn't get one happy Irish vibe from this place. Walked right by the hostess and her eyes did not leave her cell phone. Ordered a couple of drinks from a sullen female bartender who looked like she was playing the role of miserable witch at a Halloween haunted house (unfriendly would be a compliment). Sat down at the bar, another gloomy waitress cleared the plates from another party then didn't wipe the bar. I asked her to and she did the most unthorough single swipe across the bar with a dirty rag. Food came, burger was ok, stale chips. Never again. If you're going to MGM walk the 2 extra minutes up the street to the Cask.

What a disappointment. This was truly one of the worst "dining" experiences I've ever had. While the location to Fenwick park is excellent, the service and food were extremely disappointing. It took 40 minutes to get our drink order and another 20 to get the food. One meal was so poor, we couldn't eat it.

Food was great manager was not. I sprained my ankle outside so I came in to put my foot up, and have a beer. Repeatedly asked for something to elevate my foot, and was told multiple times that they get something for me. Still waiting while I am writing this review.

Bar staff were nice . However they don't have many beers on tap as 2 beers I ordered were out at this time. Do not advertise what you do not have. We tried the cheeseburger egg rolls they were pretty gross. The only way to make these more edible would have been numerous shots of alcohol. I guess they also take the chairs at the bar away at a certain hour. Did not know this upon entering. The guy that came over to take the chairs said we need to move these chairs. I said move them where. He was so stoned out of his mind and reeked of weed that he could not understand I was joking with him. The bartender whom I do not remember her name said he rude with a lot of customers and she does not like working with him.

If you're ever in Boston you definitely want to make Lansdowne Pub (even if it's just for a pint)a stop on your itinerary. I have never had bad food or service.

Bartenders are great, I have been a regular there everytime I come into town. I am normally on my own and tend to just mind my own business while getting some food and some drinks. But last night, I was grabbed off of my barstool by two bouncer goons and immidiately thrown out. I have no idea what they thought I did but they didn't even try to speak to me or anything. This is not acceptable behavior for any establishment. Bartenders great, Bouncers Shite! Management, I guess non existant to allow that behavior.

Terrible Customer service. Very rude. Would not give us a straight answer on if we could get a table or not. Very disappointing

I can only speak to the bar experience. Popped in after a Red Sox game with a few others. One of the guys was stopped for having a "fake id" despite it very much being real (though he was able to get past it with his passport card). It was pretty packed in the bar area after the game. The dance floor was about 50-70% full - there were definitely more people at the bar. So much that it was very difficult to get the bartender's attention for a drink. We were able to get one round of tequila shots before not being able to get his attention to order again. But the tequila shots were very fat! They came in plastic shot glasses. Left shortly after because they were too busy.

Why is it so hard to get a pint of Guinness here????? Sunday night after a long 2 bags of popcorn microwaved time wise wait for drinks.... Upon being graciously attended to "uhh we are outta Guinness" ... Ok busy weekend maybe or YOU JUST DO NOT WANT TO POUR A PINT come on man.... I came here for a pint b4 a show , yet once again to be disappointed with this BS only 50 plus people in there,,,, Just love how an 80s artist playing across st brings out a crowd that is older 40-60yr olds yet they still feel the need to serve all beers in plastic cups ...PATHETIC then fkn charge me $5 bucks for the beer or serve it in a glass sorry but NO Red Sox GAME ......so what's excuse No dishwasher or laziness Just close already this location ... Update so after finding someone was hurt or killed by a glass ok I get it lawsuit but close and rebrand then if your selling all drinks in plastic only ...but you an empire group to begin with so ...

their brunch service is so great! it's usually not crowded in there during that time which makes it even better! highly recommend the eggs benedict!

I had a disappointing experience at this bar. The cleanliness was subpar, and it really affected my overall enjoyment. The tables and floors were dirty, which made me question the hygiene standards. I expected a cleaner environment, and this was a major letdown.

SO I was there TONIGHT (3/21/2024) and some larger guy (it was a Harvard Party) threw his entire drink on my innocent friend who was visiting Boston just because it was a push atmosphere which it was everywhere and I'm never going back so thanks a lot for the service and we live in BOSTON I have a bunch of friends who often go to Fenway and will NOT be recommending this place so great job Lansdowne and letting this guy stay and party with his friends after ruining our night. TERRIBLE?

My brother-in-law and I generally go to Landsdowne Pub every time we are in the Fenway Park area but it is a must for Saint Patrick's weekend. We have been going there for more years than we can remember and this year was another great experience. We go there multiple times over the course of the weekend and every time the experience is top-notch. The hosts/hostesses have always treated us like family visiting from out of town. Despite the chaos of the weekend, the servers managed to be extremely attentive to our needs, ensuring that we're never holding an empty glass, they know how to do a proper pour of Guinness and do so even when it's insanely busy. The bands and other entertainment are phenomenal. We had another great Saint Patrick's weekend and have already started talking about next year.

I was meeting 3 friends to attend a concert at MGM Music Hall. We don't go to Lansdowne St often. I looked at Google and randomly picked this place to meet because of it's proximity to MGM. I arrived at 6 PM. It was a Tuesday, no events at Fenway, but the general area was still crowded because of the concert. I walked inside to look for my friends but they weren't there yet, so I stepped outside again to look for them. When I went to go back inside, a rude bouncer suddenly appeared and stopped me, and asked for my ID (I am 45!). I said "Oh, sorry. You weren't here when I went in before so I didn't know you were checking IDs". He said "Yes I was". Obviously he wasn't because I was already inside. I should have known something was off about the place because there were only about 20 customers in there, all sitting at the bar. The place was extremely dark while the sun was still out. It was decorated for Halloween the day after Labor Day (early September). Someone else sitting at the bar pointed out that they still had Christmas wreaths hanging on the front walls. It was 90 degrees outside and even hotter inside. No air conditioning. There were two bartenders that I saw, and it took a long time and me waving frantically to finally get a drink. When my friends arrived, I paid for my drink and asked the bartender if it was OK to carry my drink outside to our patio table (where we were going to eat before the concert). He said yes, but then the rude bouncer stopped me again as if I was doing something wrong. He said I wasn't allowed to carry my drink around. I told him I asked the bartender and he said I could. The bouncer took my drink away and put it on a barrel that was in the foyer area and said my server would bring it to me after I was seated. So now I can't see my unattended drink in the doorway and that made me nervous. When a waitress came to our patio table I had to tell her that my drink was left in the doorway area. I didn't want it anymore, even though I had paid for it. We are not large people, but the high top chairs out front were tiny, metal, and had sloped backs so all of us were slipping off. We basically had to stand. Food was not great. The ladies room floors were sticky. I'm sure this place makes money on the college crowd, but as an adult with better options, I would not go back.

Awful awful slow, awful service everything took forever, and the meal was very tiny for a Smashburger.. The drink orders were wrong. We waited forever for drinks. We waited forever for the check. The poor waitress had like eight or nine tables. She couldn't keep up with anything. It was awful for us awful. I would never come here again.

Absolutely avoid this bar. I (a 115 pound girl) was thrown out with unnecessary force. The situation was extremely unprofessional. The host was extremely rude and I was trying to joke with her and she was abusing her power to have me thrown out. I had no problem leaving but the security guard who decided to throw me out was calling names such as transgender and creating a way worse situation. Once I left, I hear my sister was throw out using force as well and he throw the drink she just bought at her. She was minding her own business with the rest of our friends inside but he thought she was me so he starting to do the same things to her, being overly physical and calling her names. I could go on but just avoid if possible. I would never support a business who has people who think it's okay to physically assault women and call them horrible slurs.

Came here before a Red Sox game to get a few drinks and a quick bite. Good beer and decent food. Everything pretzel is just ok for an appetizer, nothing crazy good. Burger was really juicy and tasty. Enjoyed that. Service was slow tho.

The bar tender shoved me with two hands I wasn't even doing anything wrong or troublesome. I wanted to say "use your words".... Thought about calling the cops on her. I didn't get her name but have her picture (in case the managers see this post)

We were down at Mohegan, and stopped by The Lansdowne Pub to enjoy a featured drink, "The Perfect Manhattan," that you had on a board outside. It was in the men too. The server informed us that you were not serving the drink because you were out of Bitters. My husband and I laughed. Why didn't you go borrow from another establishment, send an employee to purchase some, or take down the signs? It is amazing the lack of professionalism in the industry nowadays.

I went to this bar and was kicked out for stepping onto the DJ stage which I 100% agree I should not have done. However, the way in which the bouncers/security of this bar reacted is EXTREMELY violent, dangerous and unnecessary. I was with my girlfriend and we were pushed through 2 rooms and into the kitchen and out the back door by 4 security guards even though we agreed to leave on our own and were walking to the front door. Then, as we were pushed into the kitchen, one of the security guards threw my tiny 5'4" girlfriend to the floor. The chefs and kitchen crew did nothing to react to this so I was facing 4 massive security guards and could do nothing about the situation as we were forcefully pushed into the alleyway behind the pub. We were able to leave from there, but not before one of the security guards said to my girlfriend that if we didn't hurry up "it would be our last night alive". This type of behavior is HORRIBLE and I thought maybe we were just an unusual circumstance, but reading these other reviews on Yelp has shown that this is repetitive behavior from the security team there and has happened to many people before us. The Lansdowne Pub should be put out of business or a forced management change!

went here before a concert. greeted by a host that told us to go to the bar and he would look for us when a table was ready. nothing! had to ask 2 times. he was clueless wondering around and still directing people to the bar. food and service was good. but ladies refused Om was out of toilet paper and no soap. will never go back.

Great experience, great service. Chicken sandwich was wonderful. Had high hopes for the mac and cheese, but it was very soupy for some reason!

There's so much to say about this place I don't even know where to begin! Well for starters, the bouncers are extremely nice and will manhandle you even if you're a girl but don't worry, it's just because they want to be friends! Also the male bartender in this picture is the best. He will ask what you want to drink and then go to another person, help them out and give them their drink, and never give you the drink that you asked for. He'll continue to look at you knowing that he didn't get the drink for you but it's probably just because you're so pretty, he can't stop starring at you! Omg I almost forget the best part about this bar. If you swing the chandelier you get a free drink!!!! If you want an experience you won't forget, definitely come to this bar!!!!!!!!

Bouncers were utterly useless, incompetent, unprofessional and cowardly. My friend gave the first bouncer his LEGIT ID and the bouncer took a really long time examining it with his eyes. He then handed it to another bouncer at the back and the second guy confiscated it claiming that it was a fake (again, no machine check, just eyes). Said the only way to get it back was to call the police. We asked for the non-emergency number so we wouldn't waste resource on something as insignificant as a confiscated ID, but he said just call 911 and refused to assist. SO WE DID, and told the police that the bouncer confiscated a legitimate ID and insisted we call 911 instead of the non-emergency number, while the bouncer was yelling how my friend would never be able to enter any bar on the block because "his boss owns them all" and he's notified every bouncer already, even though we were literally right next door 2 minutes ago. When we told him the cops were coming, he immediately humbled and dropped the attitude, stuttering "you guys are so sure about his ID so maybe I should believe you guys" and proceeded to BEG US to "cancel" the call as if 911 was an Uber ride. Like, what were you even trying to do? Intimidate us? Brag about your boss? Dude, your inability to recognize an ID from another state and your ineptitude to perform well at your job is your problem. Take a lesson, travel a little, read more, I don't know, DO BETTER. Don't involve the cops as an intimidation tactic when we have all the ground to stand on and have your tail between your legs when we follow your suggestion.

Headed over to "The Deck at Lansdowne" for Opening Day. When we walked up the line was very long but that is to be expected at a bigger event and all the COVID restrictions in place. We waited for about an hour until we were able to get a seat. You could see that they sanitized between every party and after arriving at the table they have touchless menus through a QR code on your phone and you ordered/ paid via the website. The waitstaff was so so quick. Our orders were filled within 1-2 minutes of ordering and every seat in the place was occupied. This was top notch service on their part. The food was typical baseball classics and I ended up ordering a pretzel and a truly. Both tasty, but not anything I've never had before. The prices were elevated for the game - My truly was $7 dollars for a 16 oz can. The downside to this venue was that it was on top of a parking garage. The restroom wasn't really a restroom it was a bunch of porta potties that were questionable but they did have regular soap and used a big cooler filled with water to allow for washing of hands. Also, they didn't have a TV set up so we couldn't actually watch the game even though we were steps away from FENWAY.

If you have an out of state ID, do not go here. Their ID machine does not recognize out of state ID's and it will come back as fake. They will then take your ID and not give it back until the police arrive to confirm that it is real. I spoke with an officer who stated this has happens almost nightly with them. Unfortunately the police have actual crimes to deal with and it took close to 45 minutes for them to arrive and confirm it was real. Stay away

Bouncer is an absolute clown. Went for my buddy's TWENTY SIXTH birthday and he denied one of our friends (25yo), proceeded to go to every bar on the Landsdowne to blacklist. You have college kids walking in with Delaware IDs... FRAUDS! Come here after every Sox game and nothing, but if they aren't in town these guys start feeling some type of way.

The bar was alright but the manager was very rude. I won't be coming back to this place. No self respecting man would talk to a woman the way that manager spoke to me or snatch my water out of my hand the way he did. I've never ever had an issue in all my adult years in any bar but judging by the other reviews, this doesn't seem to be a one off situation. Even the bouncer was confused and apologized. Ladies beware.

Went to this pub prior to Red Sox game. it was very busy but we were seated in a reasonable time. French fries and chicken sandwich were average. However, Bianca our server was very upbeat and efficient despite the relative chaos before a game.

Service 4 star however nothing else apart from the fact it's on a premier location. Have visited this place multiple times and had food on all occasions and cannot remember anything being great. All being regular bar bites although you might be able to get black and white pudding depending on when you visit. Check their website or call them as they have many different events every now and then. I would expect this place to get full on summery nights.

New to Boston and my first time to lansdowne. Had been recommended by friends so I was excited to try. After waiting in line for about 40, I bought a Lineleap cause I realized that's what some people were doing. No problem. Once I finally get to the bouncer they tell me my ID is fake. It's not. So after waiting an hour and paying $25 I don't get in. The bouncers / management weren't helpful when I tried talking to them to explain this is my legitimate ID. Super unhelpful and honestly just totally killed the vibe of my night as me and my group then left after having been waiting for so long. Do better

Really good vibe unless you have any remotely dissenting opinions with bartenders or staff --otherwise they immediately remove you from the premises.

Oh it feels great to be back in Fenway! Came to the "Deck at Landsdowne" for the season opener and it was great! The pub doesn't take your name and text you when your reservation is ready, instead, the line out front is the line you wait in to get seated. However, once you get seated, there isn't a time limit on when you have to leave. Yes, the restaurant is literally on top of a parking garage, but they did a great job converting it into a nice spot! I saw the staff first hand wipe down and sanitize our table properly before we sat. You ordered and paid for food on your phone and it was brought out within instantly! The waiters and staff were in masks and gloves! I was very impressed with how quickly and smoothly everything was going. I ordered a Frose, and it was great! It wasn't too sweet either. I wish they were playing the game on a TV somewhere, but not a dealbreaker. They offer a wide variety of food and drinks, something for everyone. We waited about an hour in the line to get... but worth the wait! Worth stopping by if you get the chance!

Irish pub in the shadow of Fenway Park. This place is really dank. The waiter was not friendly and after the food was set down, we didn't see him until we were almost done. I had chowder and beef sliders. The chowder was okay, not the best I've had. The bread to meat ratio on the sliders was way off. The meat was over done and dry. I left 2 of them. Hubs had scallops over whiskey mashed sweet potatoes. He said the scallops were okay, the mashed sweet potatoes were good at first, the whiskey was very strong and would have been excellent if the booze was cooked off. With so many choices in the area, think twice about this one.

I don't usually expect awesome food at the bar, I figure it'll be just something to fill me up. But this place has really good food. Like real good. I got the sliders and they were cooked perfectly with a beautiful presentation and the cheese curds were super tasty. My server Katie was very pleasant, checking in on me often making sure my drinks stayed full and the food was good. I also extra appreciate when my food comes out hot, it was the perfect temperature. I'll be back for sure! Thank you guys again for being you! Awesome place.

Unreal!!! Legal IDs get denied by bouncers on a power trip. Went for a 26th birthday and everyone 22 and above got DENIED! Get smarter bouncers? That's why this place is fucking empty.

Pre covid review: Came here for a whisky event, so we did not order, but had food brought to us buffet style. The only vegetarian option (not mad about that) was grilled cheese, which was cold when it got to us. Both times.

went last night after the Morgan wallen concert, my friends were inside so I was alone and unfortunately my phone had died a few minutes prior. I'm the only person in line, i give the bouncer my id and he examines it. He then starts talking about how it doesn't look like me and it's not mine (even though it is since I had my 21st birthday 2 weeks ago and the picture is from when I was 16) and if I can pull up my social media accounts. I said no my phone is dead but I have my credit and debit card with my name. He said those aren't valid... didn't realize social media was a form of id but my bank accounts aren't. I said if I could please charge my phone I can show him, he then said he had no where for me to charge my phone. After 5 minutes of begging and pleading and saying how my smile has changed since 5 years ago, he lets me in. Immediately on my left there's about 40 portable chargers available to be rented. I was so angry, I couldn't believe this bouncer was not only exceptionally rude, but thought I was underaged at first and proceeded to reject me and let me walk the streets of fenway with a dead phone when there were chargers I could have rented literally two feet from him. The bouncers here have no idea what they're doing and in addition, don't care if you live or die, I was so disgusted, seems like they have no lives and just want to abuse power over young girls for fun, wouldn't be surprised if they get charged for harassment soon after reading other reviews too. As a bartender myself, I understand being strict of age restrictions and under age serving, but this wasn't a case of that. It was a few bouncers picking on a young girl just because they could. Made me so Incredibly uncomfortable.
