We really enjoyed our time at Lansdowne Resort. We had drinks & appetizers at the pub area. We went to dinner at the restaurant. It was delicious! And the service was excellent! I wish I had more time to spend in the spa; I didn't realize it was all included with my massage service. So, just know that you can enjoy many of the benefits of the spa if you book a service! Holiday time was a lovely time to be there.

I had a very enjoyable stay. I love the fireplace tables at night and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff was attentive and accommodating. The infused water was delicious and the spa is a little pricey but the massage was amazing. I'm definitely coming back.

I gave it 4 stars only because of the service. The concierge and front staff are superb. Matt is at the front desk and is very personable and helpful. He's a great problemsolver. As for the rooms, they are very dated. Our bathroom tub looked dirty and the air in the room was stale. I looked forward to leaving. The cost of spa services is really high.

After a few fancy conferences at places like a Gaylord, I would rather come to this cozy, relaxing resort and conference center to enjoy the amenities and the outdoors. Breakfast buffet with a short order omelet cook will run $25. Evening dining at the Coton & Rye is worth every penny and comes with a selection of drinks. Pool closes at 8. Would love to see the hot tub stay open a bit later. No need to miss a workout with the exceptionally equipped gym and workout rooms. Nothing but exceptional service.

So my only gripe is still there. The bathroom sink set in the middle of the bathroom has a table leg that sits in the middle. My foot hits that every time I stay there. Otherwise the location, bars, ambience, food, golf and setting are excellent..I love the pool and spa. I want more time here. Also a great setting for weddings, just a beautiful well curated set for an important moment.

I was in town for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel was very clean, and the customer service was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and I did sleep well. I Ioved the view of the grounds from our balcony. I do think the rooms could be updated, but overall, the room was good and served it's purpose.

Room charge was $500 plus a $32 resort fee. Room had no amenities in it, mini bar empty, no room service, tiny bathroom, bathroom door had an inch clearance to close without hitting the toilet. Room had 2 double beds so we could not comfortably sleep in the same bed together. The room was what I would expect at a Best Western at about 1/5 the cost.

Seems like it might be a staffing issue, but our stay was riddled with issues. We came for a weekend away. The adults only pool was closed, the chair service was not running at the only open pool, and it took 30 minutes minimum to get a drink. We changed rooms right after we checked in due to a very strong odor in the hallway. Dinner at the piedmont took 45 minutes to get our drink order and food came as we were about to call it quits and walk out. The staff was very kind and this review is not a reflection on them, but on the experience as a whole.
