Friday June 6, 2025- Wanted to sample Hawaiian inspired ice cream flavors after eating the Prime Rib dinner. The young man working tonight had good customer service 🤙🏽 I got to sample Cookie Monster- which tastes like cookies and cream but small kine different. I ended up choosing Kauai Pie- which is coffee ice cream with fudge, macadamia nuts and subtle coconut pieces inside. I forgot to take a pic of it cause I was excited to eat it haha. Really shocked they also sold poke, breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Maybe I’ll sample it next time I visit.

If you're staying at The California or Main Street Station hotel you have to stop by Lappert's to satisfy your sweet tooth. This is mostly an ice cream shop but they do have assorted donuts and pastries. They have fun flavors such as cookie monster and macadamia nut. I got a banana split but they ran out of toppings unfortunately. It was still pretty good though.

On our last day in Hawaii 🥹 We headed over to Lappert’s! It was the perfect way to end a day by having a nice ice cream shake, a little watery for my taste but still good! Rating for shake 4/5 needs to be thicker I think the lady was rushing because it was so many people, but don’t worry! Take your time! We can wait :) but overall the workers were nice, friendly, and always had a smile on their face, see you in 2 years! 😊💝

Google
If you're looking for the creamiest, tastiest good old fashioned ice cream with good assorted Hawaiian flavors, look no further!!, Lappert's Ice Cream by any comparison, beat the competition hands down, unfortunately this is the only location that I'm aware of in Las Vegas, NV.

Lapperts is My Favorite Downtown LV Ice Cream Shop. I ordered their Hana Road and it was Super Delicious. I highly recommend for all Families. Thank you and God Bless Lappert!

Google
This little ice cream shop has the best ice cream flavors. My favorite is the Coconut/Pineapple. Always try to visit when I'm in Las Vegas. The servers are always so helpful!

Google
This is a great place to grab some quick ice cream, coffee or donuts inside the California Hotel in Las Vegas. Located across from Aloha Specialties Hawaiian food on the top floor on the bridge to Main Street Staion.

Yelp
Excellent icecream! Creamy, sweet, unique Hawaii flavors, cheap and great service! The coffee icecream here is very lovely! Rich and strong coffee flavor how I like it! If you go to the Cal, you have to get icecream. I came here twice during our stay because it's so good and you're on vacay so why not? Great employees and they were making waffle cones when we walked in and smelled so good!
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
Cheap ice cream place upstairs next to a chocolate spot. I was greeted immediately which was nice. You get to sample up to 3 kinds of ice cream. I sampled two and chose a coco madamoa something . The scoops were plenty richly in the cup for under $5. Seating was scarce so I had to walk around with it. Very tasty.

Yelp
Lappert's was a favorite of ours when we lived in Hawai'i. So glad they have a location here in Vegas. Homemade ice creams are rich and creamy tasting. Portions are generous and prices are very affordable. Employees are always nice & helpful. Hope you decide to check them out :)

Yelp
There don't seem to be a lot of great dessert spots in downtown Vegas, so I went with the nostalgic pick of Lappert's since we had it a lot growing up in Honolulu. Had two scoops in a cup-chocolate macadamia and vanilla bean--the scoops were huge, easily more than a pint in one serving. The ice cream itself was as I remembered; it's not the best ice cream I've ever had but it is tasty and creamy...what more could you ask of ice cream, right? Far better spend of $6 than at the tables.
google avatar

Tracy E.

Yelp
This place is inside the California hotel and the prices are very reasonable. You get one scoop for 4.75 and 2 for 5.75, and they are big giant scoops. The ladies working there are very nice and sweet. They have a pretty nice menu selection and can make a nice bananasplit.
google avatar

Lance H.

Yelp
This place is awesome since I am always staying at the Cal or Main Street. I was not sure what I wanted for breakfast, so I chose the Kauai Pie, I was not disappointed. This was much better than pancakes! The employees are always friendly and the service is great if you are used to Hawaii style!

Yelp
Whenever we're at the Downtown Las Vegas area we always make a stop in at Lappert's. The ambiance is pleasant it's a nice little spot for coffee, donuts, pastries and delicious ice cream with seating inside and outside. The service is great no problems what so ever. You get a good price under $5.00 for one scoop of ice cream and the scoops are generous scoops! My favorite is the Macadamia Nut Ice Cream because it's creamy and there's wholesome macadamia nuts in every bite and surely it's wholesome not half some or tidbits they are wholesome macadamia nuts and I Love it! When you're at The Cal check out Lappert's on the second floor for something sweet and good. On the order: Single scoop Kona Coffee Ice Cream Single scoop Macadamia Nut Ice Cream topped off with a regular cone for an extra charge under $1.00.

Yelp
Just finished a bowl of Oxtail Soup and was feel'n like a local. I was stuffed, but I couldn't pass Lappert's! Mauna Kea's Secrets. So Ono! White chocolate ice cream, raspberry sorbet, fudge brownies, with chocolate chunks. Oh 1 scoop = 2 scoops! Broke da mout!
google avatar

Yelp
Took a break from Day 2 of the Holo Holo Music Festival to cool off & ordered double scoops of ice cream ~ should have gotten the single scoop instead as they were huge! Their ice cream were rich, sweet, creamy and very delicious! Flavors were: Left cup: Hawaiian Salted Caramel & Coconut Macadamia Nut Right Cup: Green Tea & Macadamia Nut Service was also friendly and efficient!
google avatar

Jessie A.

Yelp
The single scoops are big! They are the equivalent of basking robins 2 scoops. It was delicious and in a cute corner of the casino
google avatar

Yelp
Ugh, a taste of Hawaii! I am so grateful for this Lappert's inside the Cal. Whether you need an early morning coffee, quick snack to-go, or dessert after Aloha Specialties, this is your spot (I stopped by for all these reasons throughout my stay haha). The drip coffee was pretty good! They have syrups you can add as well. My husband got an iced hazelnut latte and they just used one of those automatic espresso machines but it hit the spot. For ice creams we tried the Hana Road, Kauai Pie, and caramel coconut macadamia. You really can't go wrong! All were so good! The scoops are generous and definitely shareable. They have a case where you can get spam musubis, donuts, and even pies. We got a mini chocolate cream pie to celebrate a birthday and it reminded me of Ted's Bakery in Hawaii. Service is quick and friendly which I always appreciate, and their hours are great - 5am to 10pm!
google avatar

Yelp
Finally got to check out this ice cream shop since I was roaming around Fremont street. I got the two single scoop in a cup: Hawaiian sea salt caramel and Kona coffee. Both were creamy and tasty. The sea salt caramel ice cream was more buttery with a hint of salt. Yummm. The coffee has more of a dark coffee taste, which I also enjoyed. Also, the scoops are pretty huge, so you definitely get a bang for your buck. This ice cream shop is located on the second floor of the California Hotel, directly above the Market Street Cafe where you get the famous amazing oxtail soup. So definitely don't miss out on this.
google avatar

Kristin C.

Yelp
Had to get my ice cream fix while here at The Cal! Scoops are huge, enough for 2 people to split. Lots of dark chocolate included in the mint cc ice cream. I noticed the lemon meringue and couldn't past that up, glad I got it because it was delicious! The meringue held up quite nicely, the lemon curd baked up perfectly wasnt runny and the pastry wasn't soggy. They are located on the 2nd floor at The Cal, show your support for this Hawaii based ice cream shop while you are here.

Yelp
Went in on Sunday 6/2/24 at 3:30 to get a cone. The He / She behind the counter was intentionally rude to my sister & the girls before me. One asked what was in a flavor & he replied "I ALREADY TOLD YOU!" Another girl being friendly said " it's my 1st time here" and he replied " YEA I CAN TELL". Then she says it's the way that I am, a lot of people don't get it. Then don't do at work, save it for your 1 friend at home!!! He was so nasty my sister decided not to order anything. And we were just say how nice everyone at Aloha Specialties, the Bell service workers, housekeeping. All Aloha spirited. This person was a nasty little Haole that is at the wrong casino. Should work at Circus Circus more positive note, ice cream the best!
google avatar

Dave S.

Yelp
Friendly, clean and well worth the price! Ice Cream from Hawaii. All the regular flavors. Coconut Mac Nut, Coconut Caramel, Sea Salt Caramel, Haupia, etc. huge scoops!!! The best ice cream all in all downtown. Bring your kids here. Its upstairs away from casino games.
google avatar

Cameron K.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream. Used to have it in Hawaii and was very happy to discover they have one here in the California. Highly recommend it!
google avatar

Davynne K.

Yelp
We come to vegas often enough to where the girls at the counter recognize me! My favorite is the little Filipino girl, who calls everyone aunty and uncle..... she is very fast, always polite and smiling. Each time we come, I ask when she's working! Coffee is always nice hot and fresh. Ty!
google avatar

Brandon M.

Yelp
My favorite place to go to in Las Vegas for ice cream. Been going here for years. The pic doesn't do this 2 scoops justice. Had the Hana Road and Haiua Pie. Both delicious. If ever at the California Hotel in downtown Las Vegas you should stop by. Service is always good and quick plus the huge servings.
google avatar

Kelmin J.

Yelp
If you're looking for a late night, snack look no further than Lappert's Ice Cream. They have a decent assortment of flavors to try. The prices are really good, but the taste is fantastic. I tried the macadamia nut ice cream and it is fantastic. The cookies and cream is especially delicious. I highly recommend this to anybody inside the California casino. The service was very nice and the lighting inside made you feel welcomed.
google avatar

Rebecca O.

Yelp
One of the best places to get ice cream on Fremont street! We got scoops of "Road to Hana" and it was delicious, like an upgraded "rocky road". The employee was nice. They have Pepsi products.
google avatar

Chelsea M.

Yelp
Very good ice cream , prices aren't as high as strip and huge servings! Their version of rocky road is great!
google avatar

Riana M.

Yelp
Awesome prices for the amount of ice cream they give. Love the Hawaiian style flavors! Staff was very friendly and quick with helping us even though we came in right before closing. Overall a wonderful place to go for ice cream!
google avatar

Yelp
Lappert's Ice Cream Shop is located inside The California Hotel & Casino on the second floor, downtown Las Vegas. Parking costs $25.00 if you park inside the parking garage offered. There are a wide variety of unique flavored ice creams that you won't typically get at other Ice Cream shops such as the coconut macadamia, Kona Coffee, Coconut ice cream with pineapple, and much more! There are also other sweet treats like hot fudge sundaes, donuts, cream pies, musubi, and Hawaiian shaved ice. I opted for one scoop of their cookies and cream ice cream. The flavor was smooth and creamy, but not as rich as other ice cream flavors I would typically have. The portion sized was large for one scoop! The price was relatively inexpensive, under $5.00 for a scoop of ice cream in a cup. There is bar table seating available at the entrance to Lappert's Ice Cream Shop.
google avatar

Marcia R.

Yelp
We always like coming back to have coffee or Ice cream and now they have serve donuts! We had a maple bar it was good soft and definitely maple flavor won't and the today we had their Fritter the was good and crispy and soft at the same time. Hey now they sell spam musubi!! Glad got here early in the morning a big lane now. We glad Vegas is starting to open up. If your vaccinated you don't need to wear a mask. We love the Ice Cream in Hawaii too but this is the best thing when we home sick..
google avatar

JD Q.

Yelp
The ice cream taste if the islands! You might disagree and come back with Farrels but they're no longer around. Had to have a snack of an ice cream, coffee, and a maple bar. Sat at the stools and enjoyed a respite. The ice cream was delicious. A Caramel Coco Mac nut In a cup. And coffee. Black and the maple bar all complemented textures and flavors. Highly recommend for your visit to the Californian hotel.
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
Always great ice cream! The coconut macadamia ice is the best. You have to try it anytime your in Las Vegas or Kauai Hawaii.

Divina D.

Yelp
Love love the ice cream here. Best ice cream in town. My favorite is the Kauai pie ice cream. All the delicious flavors of Hawaii all in one. The service is fast and friendly. The ambience is small but cheerful. They also have donuts, coffee, to go lunch like salads. It's in the California hotel. Tip: if you dine at the restaurants in the hotel, you can get your parking ticket validated at the cashiers cage. Just show your receipt. I ordered a pint to Kauai pie to take home.
google avatar

Claire H.

Yelp
I love Lappert's ice cream! Creamy rich flavor.. so yummy!! Its 46 degrees outside and I still want a single scoop cone! It actually looks more like a triple scoop! :p
google avatar

Lynn C.

Yelp
This ice cream shop is the closest I can get to good green tea ice cream just like back home In Hawaii. Great place to get your different ice cream flavors, different donuts and musubi!
google avatar

Catherine V.

Yelp
We loved Lappert's macadamia ice cream when we had it at home in Huntington Beach. But the store has closed down. So when we discovered there was a Lappert's in Vegas we were excited to stop by. It's located upstairs of the CA Hotel and Casino. Unfortunately there was no macadamia available that night and most of the flavors were flavors you could get at typical ice cream stores. We opted for green tea but found it lacking the oomph of good Japanese green tea flavor. Cookies and Cream was standard. And the Coffee macadamia ice cream was rather overly bitter, with coffee being one of my all-time favorite flavors. But I couldn't even finish my scoop. There was only one attendant on shift and although she was very efficient I felt bad for her having to scoop and ring up customers all by herself, especially as a little line was forming as we left. Will have to pass next time though...
google avatar

Roxanne E.

Yelp
My sister and I came here for dessert! We were bummed that we couldn't try the different flavors they had. The staff said they weren't doing that because of Covid. So I decided to keep it plain and got the vanilla macadamia but ice cream on a sugar cone. Definitely my go to! It was filled with so many macadamia nuts! Every bite there was a few nuts, which was great! The ice cream itself was very creamy! I was surprised with how large regular scoop was! It was a very generous serving for the price. It was almost $5. My sister got the coconut macadamia nut ice cream on a sugar cone. It was very sweet and yummy! She hardly had any macadamia nuts, but every bite there was shredded coconut. We both couldn't finish the whole thing. I definitely will be back here again!
google avatar

Mary Jane C.

Yelp
I came here to grab coffee for my sister and a hot chocolate for myself, what should be at most a 5 minute wait took about 20 (at least!!). Apparently they do not brew any of the espresso-like coffees or hot chocolate themselves, they have some giant machine that does it for you. I can't remember what my sister wanted, but the machine happened to run out so she had to settle for something else. Then they ended up taking the machine apart before they could get anything brewed. It took so long that they ended up bringing it out to us while we waited for our food at the restaurant across from them, as I kept going in and out waiting for the coffee and hot chocolate that never came. They seemed nice enough, but maybe they should reconsider actually just having an espresso machine and baristas so 1) the machine would not be the only form for coffee or hot drinks and 2) the wait wouldn't be so horrendous and 3) you charged how much for a push-button made drink?

Stan C.

Yelp
Stopped in based on the reviews. It was hot in LV and something cold was on my mind. Got the two-scoop cup which was more like four...very generous serving. Had the Hana Road and something else (can't remember) and the taste was excellent. If you are near by, I would recommend. Subtracted one star because of the cigarette smoke we had to endure to get to the store inside the California casino.

gabriel g.

Yelp
The kids seem to like it, can't go wrong with that. And the cashier despite being the only worker an having a large crowd was very polite & welcoming.
google avatar

Jay ..

Yelp
$4.50 for a scoop of ice cream here in a cup. This was pretty good very generous portion for the price. I got the strawberry, wasn't bad it wasn't the sweetest strawberry ice cream I ever had. It said it was made from Washington strawberries. Maybe I should have gotten one of their island flavors. Next time.
google avatar

Jeanelle B.

Yelp
It's never too cold for Ice cream!... Especially Lapperts!! Another spot that brought back memories. Friendly girl with great service and a lovely smile. I remember telling my uncle "she was so nice!" I'm glad I got me my scoop!

Jordan B.

Yelp
I Love Lappert's ice cream. It reminds me of Kauai a lot. Great flavor in every ice cream. Just wish there was more location.

Delbaybliss A.

Yelp
Best coffee! The price is the going rate of coffee in a casino but it is worth it! Their pastries are good and reasonably priced. And the staff was so sweet.
google avatar

Anne C.

Yelp
Located in the California Hotel (2nd floor), this is a small ice cream shop that also sells some pastries, drinks, and shaved ice. Ice cream is the perfect treat on a hot day... and their ice cream is creamy and delicious. The servings are very generous, for real, HUGE scoops... and the prices are more than reasonable, which I was pleasantly surprised by given that it's located in a hotel. They also offer traditional and unique island themed flavors like macadamia and coconut. My kid got the shaved ice.. which ended up being cool and tasty, but also a huge pile of melting mess. LoL. Not necessarily a dessert spot i would go out of my way to try, but PERFECT if you're already in the hotel.
google avatar

Cortney A.

Yelp
"I scream, you scream..." Lappert's Ice Cream is one of my favorite shops in town to indulge in a scoop or three of soft, fresh, unique flavors like coconuts macadamia and caramel! If you in the area with a sweet tooth stop by for a delicious serving of greatness! Useful Tip: Valet at Main Street Station and use the indoor walkway to The California for easy access to Lappert's!
google avatar

Evelyn J.

Yelp
We thought we had no room for ice cream after eating at Aloha Specialties which is right across from Lappert's. We walked in and saw all of these unique flavors that you can't really get everywhere. The ladies at the counter were nice enough to let us have a sample of a few flavors. We ended up getting the two scoop cup that we shared as a family since we really do not have that much room to eat more. We picked one scoop Coconut Caramel Macadamia and one scoop of Coconut Pineapple. Both were so delicious and different from the standard ice cream flavors that are normally offered at other ice cream shops. I wish we can have a scoop of all the other flavors and I'm sure that it will be all very delectable.
google avatar

Kristine F.

Yelp
Delicious indulgent Hawaiian style ice cream with a patient lady running the whole shop! Just arrived in Vegas for my friend's birthday and her family took us out for lunch across the way at Aloha Specialties (HUGE portions over there FYI for decent prices). What next? Ice cream! I sampled both Kauai Pie and traditional Japanese Green Tea. Ah, I can get green tea anywhere so Kauai won me over with its smooth coffee ice cream, chocolate fudge ripple, and buttery macadamia nuts. It also has dried coconut laced throughout which I didn't care for but made me feel like I was in the tropics. Gigantic single? scoop serving in a freshly made waffle cone! OMG so good! The waffle itself was nice and crisp with a distinct flavor. Definitely felt like a kid licking my ice cream cone walking though the casino downstairs. Friends ordered Kona coffee cones and chocolate shakes. Traditional Hawaiian shaved ice is available. They serve more than frozen treats. I saw hot dogs, sushi, and spam musubi on the menu, as well as doughnuts and bread/pastries. Stop by for a scoop or two!
google avatar

Steven H.

Yelp
When we come to the California Hotel and Casino in the summer time there's no better place than to cool off at this ice cream parlor. My favorite flavor is Hana Road and pistachio nut.And you can also grab some other goodies as well.MAHALO!!!

Laura D.

Yelp
Kinda bummed that they only let you sample one flavor. Ended up not liking at all what I chose and threw it away. $5 down the drain.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
I come here when I'm hungry for some ice cream. Which is not that often. But if it's a hit summer day yes please! I always get my favorite just vanilla please. Im just a plain girl. Staff are friendly. Coffee is always hot and doughnuts are always nice to have.
google avatar

Kris P.

Yelp
If I had one last meal on death row, this place would be part of my dessert. Its so simple but yet so good. It might also be because I'm usually in a happy place when I'm in Vegas. My favorites are the pistachio and the coconut Mac nut, on a waffle cone. Shhhhhiiizzz. I don't even share with the wife. And she knows better not to ask. I've also tasted the strawberry and butter pecan that the rest of the fam usually gets. Same thing. Just straight goodness. What I love is sitting at the tables across the way (where we just polished off a huge meal) and seeing all my local bruddahs and sistahs that I missed from HI after moving to SF. Ice cream and people watching in Vegas. Ahhh the life.
google avatar

Regina I.

Yelp
Macadamia nut ice cream in all forms. That is all you need to know. If I had one more stomach or less of a tendency to be lactose-intolerant (thanks, Asian genes), I would have ordered all of the macadamia nut-based flavors. For this visit, (coincidentally, visits here are few and far between because it's a true trek to get there with it located a) downtown, b) inside a hotel, and c) on a breezeway between two hotels), I went with Macadamia Nut and Caramel Coconut Macadamia. Both were rich, creamy, and flavorful. If I had any complaints, they would be based on location and unenthusiastic service. I mean... I know the process of purchasing ice cream is rather straight forward, but a smile or a general overall pleasantness would be nice.
google avatar

Tim S.

Yelp
Been awhile since I had been here (7 years or so!), so we decided to grab some ice cream after our meal at Pizza Rock. Went with a 2 scoop waffle cone. One scoop macadamia nut, and one scoop chocolate macadamia nut. Just under $7.00 for the BIGGEST freaking ice cream cone I have ever seen. This thing was really like 4 scoops. Ice cream was bomb as usual. Creamy and stuffed with macadamia nuts. Lady was friendly working the register. Must come here if/when in Vegas. Soooo good!
google avatar

Taylor S.

Yelp
The ice cream was delicious. The Kauai Pie was divine. Chocolate ice cream, chunks of coconut... YUM. Swung in about thirty minutes before closing time so the ice cream supply was somewhat limited. I wanted two scoops, the other people chocolate mint but they were out. I had them toss it in a waffle cone. What threw me off about the place was one of their policies. For some reason, even if they had both flavors, I wasn't able to have two different flavored scoops in one cup. I would have had to pay for them separately. But if I go then in a cone, it would have been fine. The lady was super nice and gave me a little extra Kauai pie but it's just an odd policy if you ask me!
google avatar

Beverly M.

Yelp
Giving them 5 stars because I know their ice cream is one of the best! Don't really order it here because I always have it back home. Always come for the coffee and donuts! I think the coffee is a bit steep at $4.50 for a small cup but it's the only place that has coffee that I can take to go in the hotel.... I think.
