Lara's Restaurant and Banquet Hall

Owner was very gracious and the food was generous and very good. Would definitely come again! Update: My initial review was based on my experience of the restaurant when we first spoke to the owner about hosting our wedding at Lara's Restaurant and Banquet Hall. Now that we've had our wedding there, I can only continue to praise the team at Lara's for all of their hard work in making our wedding the most perfect day! Firstly, Dikran (the owner) was incredibly flexible with us, navigating the stressful stretches of our wedding planning with grace and consideration. He truly took care of us in ways I doubt we would have received from other venue owners. The amount of service received was amazing for the price! He stepped up and even added more than we initially asked for, even in ways that we didn't know about until after the wedding - all to make sure that the day went as smooth as possible. The servers and bartenders were so sweet and made the guests feel welcome. Probably some of the nicest restaurant service workers I have had the pleasure of experiencing. Our guests could not stop complimenting how good the food was! The service flow was impeccable, guests were continuously served dish after dish, making the experience at our wedding both different and enjoyable. Appetizers were available at the table when guests arrived for cocktail hour, and more dishes were brought out for the dinner service. Even the fruit platter served as part of the dessert table was well presented. The venue truly exceeded our expectations. It is a humble venue, but with the help of the team at Lara's and our wedding planner (Every Milestone Design Co.), it was easily converted into a cozy and elegant wedding space. Guests commented on how much they loved the intimate vibe inside. Thank you again Lara's Restaurant and Banquet Hall!

Recently attended a wedding here and the food was great. there was a feast of appetizers that came out first, which had a wide assortment of tasty foods. There was pita, hummus, baba ghanoush, a type of beef tartar, stuffed grape leaves, and a few other items. My table sat 10 people and everyone ate like it would be their last meal. So good! Then we had grilled beef and chicken come out as the main. That was quite good too. The chicken and beef were tender and tasty. I wasn't a big fan of the rice, but to me that didn't take away from the rest of the culinary experience. Everyone else happily ate everything on their plate. The bar did not disappoint either. They were quick, friendly, and were able to keep everyone happy. We thoroughly enjoyed this place.

We recently attended a wedding at this venue and were truly impressed. The space was absolutely beautiful, and the food was outstanding. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to host a special event. Well done to the team—great job! 👏🏼

We went to a wedding here recently and it was a wonderful venue! Amazing food and appetizers, great open bar, incredible staff and service. The meats served were delicious - perfectly seasoned and cooked. The place was transformed beautifully for a wedding.

Went to Lara’s restaurant and Banquet Hall recently for my friend’s wedding! Was impressed by the wonderful food, atmosphere and service! They did an incredible job accommodating all the guests! Would definitely highly recommend them for any events!

We ordered Chicken Shish Tawouk and beef tenderloin with rice and house salad. Frankly we didn’t like the taste, chicken was too dry and too salty, beef was better than chicken. Rice was quite plain and thick, just dressed with few almonds. The place was big and cozy, but food was disappointing.

I'm going to try to be as nice as I can for this review. But I did not have a good experience here. We held our work X-mas party here and had the whole restaurant to ourselves. That means that we were the only focus of the owner and staff. That being said, the service could have been a lot better. They left dirty plates on our table and refused to change them. There was a lot of clutter on every table as they didn't clear plates until the end. The food was below average and disappointing for what we paid. They served Costco French fries! See picture for proof. No restaurant should serve food from Costco. The beef was overcooked, tough and dry. Chicken and rice was good. The decor was very nice, restaurant was decorated beautifully, that's the only reason I'm not giving 1 star. I expected a lot more from this venue. Please do better.

I attended a family wedding here and their food and service were amazing! They completely transformed their space to make the wedding look and feel great! Would recommend.
