"LaRayia's Bodega in Ponce City Market offers tasty vegan bites and drinks in a cool stall decorated with plants and rapper-inspired art. It’s an easy stop for an on-the-go light lunch when you’re in Old Fourth Ward—because the smoothies and matchas are incredibly delicious. Plus, they make well-balanced creations you don't see everyday like the thick and sweet Outkast with cinnamon apples, nutmeg, and filling oatmeal. And when you need an energy kick, try their matchas, like the silky sweet Yoko Ono with lavender, maple, and oat milk." - nina reeder, jacinta howard
"LaRayia’s Bodega has one of our favorite smoothies in the city. It’s an ideal stop when you’re zipping through Ponce City Market looking for a quick drinkable lunch or an on-the-go light snack." - jacinta howard, juli horsford
"LaRayia’s Bodega is a great stop when you’re zipping through Ponce City Market looking for a quick drinkable lunch or an on-the-go light snack. This vegan juice bar is one of the coolest stalls in PCM, decorated with plants and colorful art featuring legendary rappers like Tupac Shakur, Biggie, and Nipsey Hussle. And while we like perusing their collection of beanies, bucket hats, and T-shirts with phrases like “black girl magic” and “ashe,” we’re mainly here for the smoothies because they’re bar-setting. Our favorite is the thick and sweet Outkast with sweet cinnamon apples, nutmeg, and filling oatmeal. Their matchas (like the silky sweet Yoko Ono with lavender, maple, and oat milk) are fantastic too. photo credit: Courtesy of Jamestown" - Jacinta Howard
"If anything OutKast related is on the menu anywhere, I’m getting it off GP. So I was geeked to find that LaRayia’s in Ponce City Market has an OutKast smoothie with cinnamon, apples, and nutmeg that lives up to the high expectations set by its namesake. It's thick and filling thanks to the addition of oatmeal, and it’s sweet, fresh tasting, and possibly the best smoothie I’ve had this year."—Jacinta Howard, senior staff writer We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
"Owned by LaRayia Gaston, founder of nonprofit organizations Love Without Reason and Lunch on Me, expect a takeout menu focused on vegan versions of overnight oats and parfaits in the morning, with dishes like Jamaican jerk jackfruit tacos and vegan ceviche and chili at lunch and dinner. According to the press release, some dishes will also contain edible glitter. In addition to food, expect organic teas, such as Moon Tea (a vegan take on chai), a selection of fresh juices, and lemonades, like Black Girl Magic with activated charcoal. Continuing her philanthropic work here in Atlanta, Gaston plans to provide free vegan food at Woodruff Park downtown every Friday through her nonprofit Lunch on Me." - Beth McKibben
