Larch Handcrafted Pasta & cocktails

Definitely recommend making a reservation. Inside is small overall with dim lighting. We ordered the focaccia bread (which was baked to perfection), clams and the pork belly (tasteful and tender) for appetizers. For our main course we ordered the casarecce pasta and mezzaluna pasta. Both with creamy sauces and filled us up quick. Finished our meal by splitting a chocolate torte that was AMAZING and has me still thinking about it to this day! Will return soon to try out their steaks and other appetizers. Our waiter was friendly and checked on us frequently with our drinks. :) Bill came out to under $200 for all of this plus 3 beers and 1 cocktail, not including tip.

Dinner was phenomenal, very flavorful 😋 with a nice twist of mixed flavors. Bartender Derik, as I sat at the bar, makes great cocktails & personable. The Octopus was so tender, loved the dressing also & Mezza luna pasta, stuffed with crab and shrimp, OMG 👌delicious. The fact that the pastas made there makes it worth the price. Also Flourless Torte. The appetizer & entrée would have been nicer to be served a little longer gap between meals, for me. Yes, the cocktails were rather pricey, but the wine was average price. Would love to try a few other entrées.

I honestly think this was the best food I've ever had. Came here for my birthday and ordered a lot so I could try it all: roasted mushrooms, pork belly, agnolotti del plin, pumpkin cheesecake, and tiramisu. It was all incredible and I'm still thinking about it (I went about 3 weeks ago). The pork belly was so crispy and delicious paired with the coconut rice, I wish I could have it shipped to me back home. Very fresh, original dishes, and the service was great too. I made a reservation online beforehand as they are very popular and only open for a few hours each night. I would come back to Leavenworth just to eat here again.

The food and service at Larch is phenomenal. I have wanted to eat here for a long time and surely did not disappoint. The restaurant is intimate, perfect for date night or special occasion. We started with Arancini Schiacciti and were the best risotto cakes we've ever had. Entrees were the Mezzaluna Pasta and Mushroom Ravioli and both were delicious. Larch is the best restaurant in Leavenworth and hope to score a reservation again.

Great little spot! We were in town for the German vibe and schnitzels, but happened to have some extra time and stumbled upon this cute place. The drinks weren’t the highlight for me, but the food totally made up for it — so tasty! Staff were super friendly and the vibe was just right. It ended up being one of my favorite meals in Leavenworth

My partner and I had such an amazing experience here at Larch. From the amazing service and atmosphere, all the way through the delicious menu. The food was all very well prepared and seasoned. The cocktails were all very well done and fun. This is a must visit. We will return on our future leavenworth adventures.

I think we just had one of the best pasta we have ever tried! It was sweet and spicy (I forgot what it's called, so sorry!). For our appetizer we had the pork belly, which was pretty good too! We'll be back again once we return in Leavenworth! 🫶

Great food and service. Very unique and unexpected flavors.. not standard Italian pasta but somewhat experimental in a good way. We got the carbonara, the pappardelle, and the casarecce. All were excellent in their own way. The casarecce was my favorite, a great combination of sweetness and spice. Maybe a touch too sweet. Extremely filling.

We visited Leavenworth over the weekend for my birthday, and we chose Larch as our first dinner. There were many other cool restaurants, but we went with the local's favorite so we had no expectation. Larch was located behind the main street, not so hidden. The place was small, really cozy and warm, perfect for winter. Staff was friendly and quick. He recommended us a few dishes, and we absolutely loved. We had quite a feast, but what stood out were Arancini, Octopus, and Casarecce. Arancini was crispy on the outside, oozy with cheese inside, Octopus was tender. We loved Casarecce so much we couldn't stop thinking about it. Pasta was perfectly cooked, tender brisket, and the sauce was spicy and flavorful. It was such a surprise having to taste a pasta dish with an Asian twist using gochujang. Still thinking about that pasta dish until today. One of the rarest restaurants that does really well in the small town of Leavenworth, and it was worth it. Please do keep the Casarecce pasta in the menu, forever. I'm coming back just for it!

Considering that there wasnt much to do or eat around Leavenworth, I stumbled upon this place while walking around. Came on a Friday night around 6pm and the restaurant was already popping. Granted it is a smaller place but there seemed to be a line out the door by 6:30pm. The service was really nice. The waiter was super attentive and always rushed to fill our waters when it was empty. He also gave recommendations that I appreciated since there are quite a few pastas that were popular. Heres what I got: Brussels Sprouts (4/5): they were delicious and pairs well with the balsamic vinaigrette glaze Mushrooms (5/5): ordered without thinking that the mushrooms were going to be the exact same as the brussels sprouts but still very delicious non the less.. Linguine (4/5): I would say its a bit saltier once you start digging in, it could use a little more lemon and less butter as it tends to be pretty heavy after eating it for a while, but the scallops were cooked were nicely Pappardelle (3/5): would skip on this next time as it wasn't anything special

Food: I had a small appetite. So I could only accommodate 1 entree and I chose the mushroom ravioli! It was delicious! Service: It was fast and they seated me at the bar since the place was full! The server was mindful of me needing to leave early, and was very hospitable. Ambiance: Average - the space is huge! They have many seating spots. Clean. Not decorative but didn't matter for the one entree I tried hit a seer spot!

Amazing pastas. Was slightly disappointed in the focaccia and the Caesar salad (the Caesar had a sharp taste to it that none of us liked - maybe it was the cheese). But the pastas were fantastic. My favorite was the Campanelle, but the pappardelle was also good. The maple bourbon creme brûlée was disappointing - the crust was too thick but my husband enjoyed the cream portion. Definitely worth a stop for the pasta if you're able to get a reservation!

Saw Larch recommended all over social media and it did not disappoint! We had the octopus, maccherroni, and mezzaluna. The octopus was a bit dry, but both pastas were great! The portions were huge too and reasonably priced! A great spot for a more elevated dinner in town.

Very cute restaurant! Be aware when making reservations that main area was playing jazz music and bar area was playing more pop music. We enjoyed our wine, the Brussels sprouts app, and the papperadelle! The short rib ravioli was tasty but sauce toppings were a bit off putting. Overall enjoyed and would come back!

Delicious pasta! I got the parpadelle with pasture raised bison, sausage, pancetta, parmesan reggiano, lemon herb ricotta. It was delicious! My friend got the lasagne with fresh pasta layered with wild boar ragu, bechamel sauce, mixed Italian cheeses. You can tell the noodles are fresh. We started with the Caesar salad and some how it had a very earth taste, the dressing was tasty though. Service was pretty quick and friendly. Inside of the restaurant looks small but connects to another section with a bar. Cute, cozy Italian restaurant.

This might be a bold claim, but I'd venture to say this is the best restaurant in Leavenworth. The pasta is phenomenal, and it's hard to believe that the service was better. The restaurant is small, but it gives it a warm vibe that we loved. Everything we ate was incredible. The surprise of the night? The mushroom appetizer. Incredible. You must make a reservation, but it's well worth it. A must visit.

After conquering the trails, Larch Italian restaurant is my post hike victory parade. It's where all that mountain climbing pays off in pasta. Word to the wise: make a reservation unless you're into loitering by the sidewalk, pretending you're not hungry. This place gets packed like a Friday night bar crawl. The host stand is just a hop, skip, and a cozy indoor space away, with outdoor seating for the fresh air fans. Visiting on a Friday, it gets loud inside with the busyness and music buzzing. Reservation confirmed, and we're seated, victory number two. Enter Luis, our hydration savior, who brought out the water we desperately needed after pretending to be a pro hiker all day. I kicked off the night with a Dragons of Eden cocktail: gin-based, semi-sweet, and an instant favorite. Round two? Not so much. The Emerald Peak had potential, but tasted like St. Germain elderflower decided to hog the spotlight. I called it quits after two sips. I retreated to my usual, not on the menu but boy can they craft an espresso martini. Perfection in a glass, worthy of a standing ovation. Appetizer time: crab & shrimp cakes, two patties served with arugula and lemon caper aioli. The sauce had some kick, but overall, solid choice. The focaccia bread with spiced tomato oil was good and kept us company until the main event arrived. Ah, the cacio e pepe. Apparently, it had just been yanked from the menu due to mixed reviews, but thankfully Luis checked and I managed to snag one before it vanished. It showed up looking a little... soupy? I've had it before here but, turned out it was swimming in extra pasta water. Weird, but honestly, didn't mind it. Just maybe tone down the hydration next time. Luis crushed it with service, the carbs were exactly what we needed, and most of the drinks were worthy of a toast for surviving the hike. Now, if only I could convince Larch to open in Houston. But until that dream comes true, I'll be counting the days until my next Leavenworth visit.

One of the best parts of our stay in Leavenworth. We are still raving about Larch days later. Nikki our server was fantastic. She helped us by recommending a few dishes and a great bottle of wine for us to enjoy. We had the crostini, the clams, the steak, and the risotto. Absolutely amazing meal. Every dish was excellent. We ended with crème brûlée. It was the best one I have ever had. Flavored with lemony goodness, it was fresh and rewarding. Do not hesitate to book Larch for your dinner during your Leavenworth stay.

First things first--make a reservation! This place is small, fills up quickly, and calling ahead is definitely the way to go. We started with the focaccia bread and appetizers, which were absolutely delicious--everything just melted in your mouth. If you're a pasta lover, the Cannelloni Primavera is a must-try, with tender chicken and cheese rolled into thick, flavorful sheets of pasta. The $60 tenderloin? Worth every penny--it's one of the best cuts you'll ever have. And the gnocchi? Simply divine. The sauce was incredible--I couldn't get enough of it!

This place was recommended by a local on our visit to the house of champagne. It was busy but we were able to get a table pretty quickly. The food was amazing! We ordered the roasted mushroom appetizer (you must try), focaccia bread, mezzaluna, and their chocolate tart. Everything was to die for! Food was incredible! Service was great too, everyone was very attentive.

Was really looking forward to try this place. It's an ok I think nothing special. The place is very crowded, they really maximize the seating. One thing after eating here, me and my mom was feel very thirsty the whole night. And usually this is happen after we eat food that is salty ot a lot of smg.

This place is perfect. My girlfriend and I came here during Christmas and we absolutely loved it. The appetizer rocks my socks off. The pasta was a 10/10. Service is amazing! Make a reservation well in advance. Ambiance felt like eating in someone's home, kind of! (Maybe there's a better way to say this). All in all, incredible, you have to eat here.

Listen.. I'm a foodie and I'm big on excellent experiences. When I tell you that this place knocks it out of the park- they knock it clear out! Our waitress was lovely with the perfect amount of attentiveness. The ambiance (we sat on the patio) was divine, the NA drink menu was super creative and the food was to die for. Seriously, the best pasta dish I have consumed.. maybe ever. Everything about this place is a 10/10. I'm disappointed they don't have Larch in AZ :-( Must try!

Came right at 4 with no reservations set as soon as the doors opened. The place filled up quickly, seemed pretty busy for a Wednesday evening. My friend and I shared the octopus, and at the recommendation from our server, the mezzaluna pasta. Both dishes were delicious and well prepared. Service was prompt and friendly. Just wish they offered a complimentary type of bread service, so we settled with sharing the focaccia bread for $9.00, a little steep in my opinion, but the portion size was fairly big, and we didn't end up finishing. Probably better for sharing with 4 people if you're trying to save your appetite for dinner. Also wished they served the bread with an olive oil selection, rather than the marinara like sauce it was served with. Other than that I'd definitely come back and try the other dishes, as we had a hard time trying to decide what to try.

Had a reservation here for 9:30 on a saturday night but decided to swing by at 8:00 to see if they could get us in any earlier, after popping across to Stein and having a quick drink they called us and had us seated by 8:30. It is a tiny space and I could see it getting pretty loud on a busier night but noise level was tolerable. There's nothing particularly special about the interior of the restaurant, but it is a nice departure from the heavy bavarian themes of the rest of the restaurants in town. Our server was kind and attentive and food came out quick! We started with the focaccia which was light and crisp on the outside, my fiancé found the tomato oil too sweet but I thought it was well balanced. He got the cod and saffron risotto, I got the pappardelle. The pasta was tasty, if a little over sauced, but his fish was SO YUMMY. The risotto was perfectly cooked and so creamy with great texture, fish was moist and flavorful. We couldn't get enough! We will be back to try the cocktails and more next time we are in Leavenworth for sure.

Hands down best pasta I have ever had in my entire life. We had the casarece with gochujang and brisket! The place was super busy but our food didn't take too long. We went in on a holiday weekend and the customers in front of us were atrocious, so entitled and rude to all members of the staff! The staff handled it very well, I would have kicked them to the curb! I was too busy eating to take any pictures, we will be back!!

Wonderful dinner here. My husband had the linguine with scallops and I had the parpadelle. Both dishes were great but truly my husband's dish was the winner! We also had the Cesear salad - very good! Our waiter was very helpful. Nice service and nice ambiance.

The pastas were incredible, so much flavor and interesting choices all over the menu, i would highly recommend the short rib pasta and the bolognese. Let me share another perspective because these reviews are wild to us. I think this is honestly a 1.5 star spot. Maybe it's the happy vibe of Leavenworth that has everyone in a 4/5 star mood. Or like us, staying at the Post Hotel and feeling extra relaxed and generous. I get all that. But Larch felt like a 1 star unless we just hit an off night? Unfortunately, we'll never know because the food was so fast and bad - we won't be coming back. Walk in and it does have a decent vibe in the tiny spot, we're feeling good. Service was eh, fine. We noted 'anniversary' on our reservation but zero recognition of that. All good but weird. Drinks were fine, not great but not terrible. But, then the food...solid menu, pasta choices looked good. Ordered the pumpkin ravioli and the casarece. We ordered, and no joke (and no exaggeration)...food was out in about 3ish minutes. NEVER a good sign. Like, that's just disrespectful when dropping over $100. Hurt the vibe. But what actually murdered the vibe, was the food itself. The casarece looked like slop in a bowl - was it soup? Nope. It was super runny and just real bad. Presentation was "I give zero F's" in a plate. Ate a few bites and was done. Pumpkin ravioli has to be solid right? Nope, not a 3 minute version. Very dry, no sauce and just blah. Also, couldn't finish. We were so rushed, food came out so fast and here goes your check - only had a drink for our anniversary. Ugh. Fortunately, we walked across the street over to 76 - got a bottle, a 6 pack and some chips - went back to the Post and had a better time in the lobby with some Doritos than being in Larch. Never feels good or comfortable calling out a spot but they got plenty of the other perspectives so they'll be fine. It just felt disrespectful to us when you spend your time and money with that result so felt like it was important to provide another perspective. Sorry, in the minority here, but we'd highly recommend skipping Larch.

We had dinner here one night on our last trip to Leavenworth and found the food to be really good. We had reservations and were able to get seated in the adult only room with the bar, which was nice and quiet compared to the family side. Our server was friendly and helpful navigating the unlabeled menu for allergins. Unfortunately, they didn't have gluten-free pasta or many other gf dishes that night, but our server spoke to the kitchen, and they were able to modify one of the dishes for me. The crabcakes were surprisingly gluten-free and were ok but not my favorite. The steak and polenta was really delicious though, and the husband of mine enjoyed his pasta. Dishes were presented artfully. Portions were large, and we were too full for dessert. Overall, we liked the atmosphere, and the service was great. While there weren't many menu options for me with my allergy, what I was able to have was very enjoyable.

They are always changing up a few options on their menu so every time I've been back, there's always something new. Everything we had was so delicious and if I had to choose a favorite of the night, it would have to be the mushroom ravioli. Take a break from eating all the bratwurst and make a reservation here for your next Italian dinner!

We had an absolute amazing time at the Larch. The service, atmosphere, and food were exceptional. We are a group group of five, and everybody thoroughly enjoyed their food. The lasagna is a must try.

Best food I had in Leavenworth. They can handle small or large groups. The weekend was busy but they were very good with their service.

We had such an amazing dinner here at Larch, the service was really great and made us feel really welcome. They were able to get us in on a waitlist, since they were packed! While we waited we grabbed a drink at their sister restaurant around the block, also amazing. We got to sit in the cute little bar area and really everything was very unique and so delicious. I had the gojuchang pasta and wow, so different but amazing. The pasta was very fresh and perfectly al dente. Their focaccia bread was warm and salty and great. All of the drinks were very good, and they had lots of recommendations, but you could order off the menu as well. We will definitely be back on our next Leavenworth trip!

I believe this to be one of the finest places to eat in all of Leavenworth. Our service was outstanding, and it's just got a really cool setting... Super intimate, but not stale. And the food is exactly what you would expect from a five star review. Hand crafted, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. Portions were fantastic, and everybody was smiling at the table.

Location was in a bit of an unusual spot with it being somewhat off an ally, we made reservations as was recommended for 6pm and were seated immediately. Our spot was in the bar area which we rather enjoyed as it was quieter and less crowded. The lovely bartender was also our waitress and recommended the best gin drink ! We weren't as hungry as we thought we would be, so we decided to share the entree. We started off with the generous serving of Caesar salad which was delicious, we especially liked the 2 anchovy that it was topped with. Nice chilled, fresh & crisp romaine. We decided on the pappardelle dish- it was so delicious. Fresh pasta- Yum! Ended with the wonderful tiramisu. We highly recommend and will look forward to returning soon.

Everything was SO flavorful!! Our table had the Linguine, Papperdelle, mushroom ravioli, and Pachetti. All were so delicious but best were probably the mushroom ravioli and the linguine. The scallops alone were worth it! Service was also friendly and fast! Wonderful experience in Leavenworth!! Also recommend making a reservation.

Came here for dinner on a Monday night with some friends while staying in Leavenworth. The menu is good size with many choices of appetizers & entrees. All being first timers we got some recommendations from our server which was super helpful are all tasty choices. We started/shared the mushrooms, cab/shrimp cakes and the ARANCINI risotto croquettes-- It was also recommended to get the focaccia bread as there were going to be some soakable sauces with our starter choices (good call). For our meals, we got the lasagna, MUSHROOM RAVIOLI and the LINGUINI (my favorite dish). Everything was fresh and flavorful-- huge solute to the chef.. Hands down recommend and will be back the next time in Leavenworth.

This restaurant has lovely, vibrant, innovative Italian cuisine. The pastas we both ordered made you sit and savor and think about the multi-flavor universe we were sitting in. Cheers to the chef! Be warned though, we were there on a Friday early, like 6:30, and it was LOUD! My hearing is not the best and it was pretty hard to hear my date. Also there was a fly buzzing our table (and us) for awhile, didn't love that. Service was good. So on the whole... great food, loud spot, 4 stars. My guess is to-go would be 5 stars. Cheers.

Oh wow this meal was delicious! This was probably my favorite fish dish I've ever had. The Alaskan cod was amazing with the miso glaze and polenta. The crab cakes were also awesome I would just say I had thought we would get more than two cakes with the entire appetizer but that's ok.

Read some reviews about this place that were definitely 50/50 BUT thankfully my husband and I decided to try it out anyways. We are so glad we did! We started out with the grilled octopus - It's BIG and so worth the price! The flavor was so great! Next we ordered two specialty cocktails and a side Caesar salad with prawns...10/10 on the drinks and 8/10 on the salad- could've used some salt but other than that, it was really fresh! For our mains we got the Pappardelle which was really rich and hearty(could've also used some salt) and then Mezzaluna which was AMAZING. All of the ingredients in the dish were paired really well together and the filling was so creamy and savory! Finished off the night with the chocolate torte. The raspberry coulis was my favorite with the chocolate and vanilla bean ice cream - there's little hazelnut bits throughout the torte that made it extra decadent. Our server was super attentive, very kind and made sure we were happy customers! Really grateful for this experience in Leavenworth! Also recommend getting there when they open so you don't have to wait in line or risk not dining due to reservation spots.

Excellent pasta! 4/5 of us ordered a new item on the menu, which was a crab ravioli in a sun dried tomato cream sauce topped with saffron shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. The linguine with scallops was also delicious. For dessert we tried the tiramisu and the crème brûlée cheesecake, which was too sweet for my liking. But I really enjoyed the tiramisu!! This is definitely a reservation required spot. We walked in, and instantly the hostess let us know they had no walk in room, so thankfully we had a reservation. The lighting is moody and romantic, I'd imagine it's a great date night spot.

One of my favourite restaurants in Leavenworth and the among the best italian restaurant. The service is really good and they encourage you with the different options. We ordered focaccia, roasted cauliflower and ravioli pasta. The best italian I have had. Their cocktails were amazing too. I tried visiting it again during christmas time and they were closed. The ambiance is good.

Our server was a gem! He was funny and kind. Thanks Dan! I had the Tenderloin with gnocchi and my husband had the duck. They were both full of flavor and hit the spot. We enjoyed sitting outside under the shade. The drinks were refreshing and we really enjoyed our meal there.

Best restaurant we ate at in Leavenworth. We got: Crostini - really good flavor and textures, was a bit too salty for me, 4/5 Arancini - it was too big with no texture variety and the flavor was plain too, 1/5 Campanelle - overall a good dish, the crispy shallots had a weird texture once it got soggy, 3.75/5 Service was a bit slow but they were packed so it's understandable. Intimate ambiance.

OVERALL This was a great recommendation from our bartender at the fab Bavarian Lodge. This would be a regular spot for us if we lived in the area for sure. .

Came here out of luck as it's tucked in a little alley way, but boy did it come out swinging for best food I had this weekend. The place was packed when we got there, but we were lucky enough to get seats at the bar. Highly recommend booking reservations beforehand to make sure you get a table. We got there around 5:30pm and the next available table, if we didn't want the bar, was 9pm! It was our last night so we decided to splurge a little, as the menu was a bit pricey. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Got a glass of Chardonnay and a Schrute Farm cocktail. Named after the sitcom, The Office, that I watched religiously, I knew I had to get it. It was good and not too sweet and had a bit of a bite to it, which I pleasantly enjoyed. Our inside joke was getting clams at every restaurant we went to while in Leavenworth, but the clams here were probably our favorite. Although smaller in size compared to other places, the sauce and herb brodo complimented each other so well, tasting so fresh without being too overpowering or taking away from the clams. I got the prochetta and my partner got the mushroom ravioli. The mushroom ravioli was delicious and had so much flavor to each bite. The balsamic sauce to the cheese, it all worked together so well. Honestly, the only complaint was that it was so much flavor that it got to be a little too much throughout the meal. Needed some veggies or something on the side to help with it. Overall, a great dish and would recommend. I ended up choosing the porchetta after seeing a table next to us get it. The pork shoulder was cooked perfectly, where each bite just melted in my mouth and still was super tender and moist! The sausage and fennel filling was a good contrast in texture to the pork shoulder. The polenta was probably one of the best polentas I had in my lifetime and paired with the veggies, this dish was the star of the show. So many different flavors that complimented each other, I finished the entire plate leaving nothing behind. My stomach and soul were happy from the meal, absolutely no complaints. Highly recommend this place if looking for a little classier scene while in Leavenworth. The food was amazing, service was friendly, and ambiance was classy but not overdoing it.

We visited Leavenworth and decided to grab a reservation at Larch. OMG the food was fantastic! A bit pricey but do delicious! There were three of us so we ordered drinks ( very well made) and a plate of the roasted cauliflower with blue cheese ailioli- just enough for the three of us and soooo good. We ordered the lasagna, the spinach fettuccini with seared scallops and the Pappardelle. Everything this was fresh and delicious and good sized. We tried each others and could not decide which was best! Definitely coming back here!

This is real deal good, no, great pasta and Italian fare! I didn't see chicken Alfredo or chicken parmigiana on the menu, so I already knew this place was worthy of a possible authentic experience. Everything we tried was delicious. I make handmade pasta from scratch and the pasta itself was great quality and texture. The sauces are flavorful and pure. Each dish was executed well. The arancini side is great compared to what I found in Italy. Larch respects the ingredients and quality in each dish. Our service was great as well. They do have a simple kids menu with quality pasta plates as well, so it's a great option for the family. Ambiance is nice. It's a smaller space so got a little noisy but it wasn't anything unexpected or unpleasant...lively conversations.

VERY GOOD! The make their own pasta in house which is soooo yummy! They offer a a good variety of options- all fresh and local! Larch is definitely upscale and classy. There was a different bar side that seemed a bit more casual. We made a reservation which I would highly recommend. The service was great and when they found out we were there to celebrate an engagement they brought out champagne! The cocktails were also inspiring and gorgeous. I would recommend coming to Larch if you want a nicer dinner in Leavenworth. It is well worth it! Our cousins actually drive over from Wenatchee when the want to do go out to a nice dinner :)
