NASHVILLE HOT CHICKEN SANDWICH $$
On any given day I'm a SUCKER for a sandwich, fried chicken, and of course a fried chicken sandwich, so you best BELIEVE I was gonna be trying this one.
The hot honey is a nice and unique edition with the bread. When you got a lot of honey with the bread it was a really good bite. The bun nothing too crazy & if I had a critique, it might be here. People, get your bread to be top notch and you won't have a single critique with a sandwich ever!!
The chicken was VERY crispy, even tho it had hot honey and dukes Mayo. I was very surprised and appreciated this. Also, thicccc piece of meat, I mean look at it! It was def spicy. Again, not too overwhelming with it, but very present haha. Best thing to do is wash it down with the lardo fries.
*LARDO FRIES
Fried herbs + Parmesan + large serving + crispy & cooked to perfection. SO good.
*PHO'RENCH DIP
Consists of tender shaved beef, hoisin (star), sambal mayo (um, yum!) Thai basil, pho broth, sprouts, cilantro & mint.
Okay, so this is one of my husbands favorite sandwiches ever now. It's sweet and spicy. Has good bread that holds up to the sandwich.
Note to self: Extra hoisen sauce next time cause it's sooo good with the steak.
The Pho broth has a bit of a spice which is nice and not too overpowering. I had the jalepeno on my bites and the pho broth and it was totally okay BUT notably spicy. The sandwich is literally delicious on its own too if spice is something you steer clear from.
〰Personal note: I'm one of those unfortunate souls that cannot tolerate cilantro **tragic** and so to my dismay, this was a little tooooo cilantro-y for me, which is why it is not ranked as my favorite sandwich ever too. HOWEVER, I will say, even with that weird enzyme I have where cilantro tastes like soap, this sandwich was good. So that's saying a lot about it.〰
