"Laredo Taco may have the fastest service around. The restaurant stuffs fresh flour tortillas made by workers in the kitchen with fillings from holding pans behind glass on the customer line. This spot proudly keeps its prices low, which resonates with its Bacon Q tacos, named after a popular border town radio station. Generously filled with potatoes, refried beans, bacon, and shredded cheese, this taco can cure hangovers or inspire a morning nap immediately after finishing the meal." - Henry James Ferry

Place looks closed at 8pm. All chairs where up. No salas out. I did get my food but there was no beef. Nothing in the bag. Had to go back To get a spoon and napkins. She didn't even offer a drink. Are you sure she want to work here..... Pork and chicken both dry like jerky. Not the best I had from here

Laredo Taco Company at 1805 Sylvan Ave, | Hwy 30, Dallas, TX 75208 I came to this place with very low expectations, since it was connected to a gas 🏪 station but there's some of the biggest surprises 🤯 A lot of little selections in the food bar up front. So I basically ordered a chicken🐔 taco 🌮, beef 🐂taco, beef🐂 quesadilla and chicken🐔 quesadilla. I was sad 💙🥲because they didn't have burritos but trust me. Order the quesadilla and you'll get your burrito fixed in that away. In my opinion the food is restaurant quality food and the portion sizes were good for the price that you're paying. Service was quick and friendly and I was impressed. Trust me I had low expectations but I did feel like I was getting my money's worth 💸

Honestly, I have mixed reviews. The first things the food always looks delicious on display but lacking flavor in some areas like the enchiladas. There’s very like meat inside as well like a double wrapped tortilla with not even a scoop of meat. The service is always bad one experience the person quit mid shift. This time the person stayed on their phone for like 5 min before checking me out. The atmosphere however is beautiful and welcoming. The margaritas are really good though and prices are reasonable. The queso was super thick! I’d love to try breakfast.

I want to love this destination, I truly do. 7-Eleven is a Dallas grown success story, and they keep trying to keep up with the trends. But this Laredo Taco Company just doesn't work, no matter how many times they try to re-design it and take up all of the parking spaces. I love how they are on my route when I am taking my eBay sales to the post office, but every time there is an issue. Seriously? You are going to charge me the same for a 4 oz (yes, I checked) serving of cold, dry potatoes as you do for a bacon breakfast taco? The person who took my order must have been new, because she had no idea of what I ordered or what the heck that was. From now on, I will just order the fresh tortillas that are delicious, and take them home and make something much more edible.

Jennifer Clark

Google
This was such a neat place. Inside the 7Eleven. The tortillas are handmade and hearty. 1 taco and I was full. Coming back. There was only one person working, so it got slow, the line was long at lunchtime but worth the wait.

I dine in and take out frequently from this location with varying results of happiness. The first time I ever ate at Laredo Taco everything was fresh, fantastic and delicious, and my most recent visit was a tragedy with all of the meats being overcooked dried out or just outright burnt but yet served anyways. With highs and lows in between my first and most recent visit leading up to this review I have to say I have strong mixed feelings about recommending Laredo taco so I will leave you with this, if you're on a budget, or need something quick and don't care about consistency of quality Laredo Taco is the place for you. however if you have the budget and time there are about 30 other places with standards within a short drive that will sort you out for your taco needs. As for me I will continue dining at Laredo Taco as they are a quick and cheap fix. Why three stars and not four: highly inconsistent with everything

Walks in hungry and walked out disgusted. This lady literally made the guy's food in front of me with gloves on and went to the register to ring him up with the gloves on. She finished and walked over to make my food sliding her hands on the side of the counter as she walked to me. Thinking she was going to change her gloves, she went straight to pick up a foil paper and asked what would I like. Very unsanitary! The other lady came from the back with gloves on touching everything and went over to the food to help prep food.

Service was not bad but could be better. Today the food looked fresh, but the fryer was not working so not all menu items were available. Food was ok and margaritas are decent.

Yelp
My family's from Laredo so we grew up eating the original Laredo Taco Company tacos. The breakfast tacos at this location are pretty good (not great compared to the ones I remember eating in my childhood) I ordered 1 bacon & egg taco and it was fried to perfection. Thankfully it wasn't greasy! The tortilla was cooked well too. The green salsa was okay but the red was my favorite as it was pretty spicy. Of course you have to keep in mind-this I'd a gas station primarily. I'm giving this place 3 stars because we were some of the first customers in the store that morning but it was super dirty. There was also vomit in the parking lot that my dad almost stepped in.

Joey R.

Yelp
Laredo Taco Company has won me over with their bean and cheese taco. Simple yet incredibly satisfying, it's a testament to the beauty of well-executed simplicity. The beans are perfectly cooked, and the cheese is just the right amount of gooey goodness. The tortilla, the unsung hero of any taco, is fresh and holds everything together flawlessly. Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Laredo Taco Company is welcoming and authentic. It's a place where you feel like you're getting a taste of real, homemade Tex-Mex. The service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable, making it a go-to spot for a quick and delicious meal. Whether you're a die-hard taco enthusiast or just looking for a tasty bite to eat, Laredo Taco Company's bean and cheese taco is a definite win. ---

Yelp
A bit aggravated as I drove into order food after work. It was exactly 9:27 on 8/13/24 when I pulled in and the door was closed, locked, all chairs put up, so walked through the gas station and into the restaurant. There was just a little of beef, cheese, and some refried beans. I asked the guy if they were still open and he said, "yup". The entire kitchen was pretty much almost done, so I just walked out. If you guys are going to advertise 10 PM, then be open until 10 PM. I worked in the restaurant, industry, both fast food and dining, and I understand how stressful it is when people come in just a few minutes before, especially in the restaurant industry. Both seemed irritated to serve.

Michael G.

Yelp
I guess I should not have expected anything good since it is a place inside 7-eleven, but for the price this was definitely not worth it. I should have taken a picture of the food. But it looked like it had been out for a while or maybe the new food mixed with the old. I had the taco plate with Beef fajita and chicken fajita. The beef fajita was at least tolerable but the chicken... I have no idea what it was it looked super dull... almost like play food. The best thing of my plate was the flower tortilla... the only things you can add without it being an extra cost was lettuce(that was browning ) salsas, and onion. It's been about 15 minutes since I ate and my stomach is already feeling upset.

Ogden M.

Yelp
Food is great not service is horrible, came Nov 6 and the guy serving ask them manager and she said barbacoa was been cooked and they'll have it out in 15/20 mins... I'm there waiting and she comes back and ask me if I need anything I said I'm Waiting for the barbacoa you said 15/20 mins, she said on no we are out of it... I said why you told him 15/20 min and I'm here waiting and now there won't be any?

Chico B.

Yelp
The food is standard for what you'll get for a breakfast taco so nothing is amazing there. However, what makes this review rating a 2 star versus 5 is that the wait is outrageous. To begin its a 7-11 store do you know it's gonna be short staffed and that's exactly what happens. Short staff and then at the wrong times they decide to have 2 people working the tacos. Today I went and times my wait time from waking in to paying and it was 19 minutes total. Be aware of the waiting you'll have when you come here

Great I realize I'm a food snob, I eat out regularly some weeks 3 to 4 times which in my opinion makes me a bit of an expert on food, service, quality etc. I say it how I see it and I usually will give restaurants at least three chances before I give up on them and in some cases after some time has past I revisit the restaurants to see if anything is changed and my reviews reflect that change.

Yelp
Steer clear! The food was only "ok". Customer service was trash! The line worker and cashier were both super rude! And they were out of most products at only 6:45pm! Also the drink machine was out and they kept having me run back and forth to the 711 side for a drink and then a lid which she refused to stock on the restaurant side. Also the prices charged was not what was listed on the menu. She couldn't explain to me why. Overall horrible experience for mediocre food.

Juan C.

Yelp
Had 2 beef fajita and 1 picadillo tacos. Lacks flavor and the red salsa was horrible. The rest of the meats that they had looked like they were from the day before . Will not be coming back.

Dorothy R.

Yelp
The food is very good. But the manager at this location needs to be replaced. Was waiting in line for an order and the manager was cursing at a lady in line. Threatening to beat her up if she spoke another word. Very unprofessional and should not be allowed to keep her job. It was a very hostile situation. I felt bad for the lady and for the other employees that had to witness her behavior.

Karl S.

Yelp
Not open during stated business hours. The food is pretty good and at a good price. Update your hours!

Makayla E.

Yelp
Ordered pickup and they didn't tell me until I got there that they didn't have what I wanted they're terrible. Rude. It's dirty and the food j did get was WHACK. 0/10 would not recommend

Lenny B.

Yelp
Customer service is horrible, very slow working staff( I know it's early in the morning but it's a business). I waited over an hour for 10 breakfast tacos. And they got my order wrong. The tacos are big and loaded with egg etc. The tacos are good but not worth the wait.

Jayci G.

Yelp
Overall, 5 stars, easy. Here's why. The food is delicious - most tacos are out of this world (brisket, chicken, barbacoa, maybe others). Shrimp isn't bad either, but not out of this world. They are not the cheapest individual tacos in Dallas, but you'll find 4 street tacos + 2 sides for $4.99. THATS pretty good! Breakfast - be prepared to add more bacon to your bacon and egg taco. They pre-mix the bacon (or brisket, or whatever combo) in with the eggs and the flavor gets lost. That adds .49 to your taco, but we threw our tacos away because of it. It was just like eating eggs in a tortilla. Tortillas are AWESOME. I like corn, but they're hand making the flour ones right in front of you. Did I mention that this is inside the 7 Eleven? A very nice 7 Eleven? Go! Try the brisket!

Jeremy G.

Yelp
Food was 4 star worthy but the customer service was awful. Go to another location for the food ‍ The guy behind the counter treated us like we were dumb when we asked questions. Customer is king. Not here though ‍

Peyton L.

Yelp
Authentic, reasonably priced, tasty tacos! This place is perfect for grabbing a quick bite before the day starts or a delicious casual lunch. The staff were friendly and quick, definitely recommend this place!

Nadia L.

Yelp
Tacos are good and employees are nice. Now the asst manager named Liz, I don't know if she's not a morning person but she needs to smile and greet when being talked to. I checked out to make sure I was reading into it correctly and on both occasions she seems bothered. She kept tapping her nails impatiently.

Reagan B.

Yelp
I don't know why this place only had 3 stars. Their tacos are bomb as hell. I ordered 4 different flavors and loved every one. Don't let the other reviews deter you!

Benjamin W.

Yelp
The worst taco ever. The meet sucked, but the gas station looked cool from the outside. Other than the poop we ate, if you ventured into the women's restroom you'd also see poop.Shat everywhere... It hit the floor, my plate and even this post.

Jorge M.

Yelp
I went yesterday at 7pm. All of the meats looked dried up. Waited about 5 minutes foor the lady to come out of the back room to take our order. I ordered 3 orders of the street tacos with rice and beans. I wanted 4 different tacos for each of my orders the lady told me even though there is 4 tacos on each plate I can only choose 2 meats. That sucked. I ordered steak and chicken. When it was time to pay the lady told me I had to go to 711 and pay. I waited 5 minutes at 711 cashiers. This is very inconvenient hoping from taco cashier to 711 cashier. Taco meats were dry. Tortillas were dissolved and breaking apart. I dont see this company lasting that long in this side of town. They really need to look at their competions and train staff. Go to Ceasars tacos. DO NOT COME HERE FOR TACOS.

Muffin W.

Yelp
Nastiest food ever. Tortillas are dry. None of the fillings have any flavor. Barbacoa had fat, no one sells barbacoa with fat anymore. Heck even the pico de gallo was tasteless. Just throw the whole damn place away. Hot mess central!

Zee T.

Yelp
One of the most unprofessional and worst food places. They typically have old dried food and their employees are are slow and unresponsive. Avoid this place.

Jeremy M.

Yelp
The food is good when fresh. This is a new place for Dallas and for 7-11's investment. Still new and it shows all the time. The service is very very slow and the food is hot or miss. Was told today 20min wait for rice after waiting 10mins in line (with 1 person in front, 1 employee working the service and 4 others just waking around). The food on the hot bar looked old and dry (the whole chicken and enchiladas). The shrimp was very seafood smelling and tasting, I would recommend not getting close to that at all. On a good day they are good but more often than not, the service is very poor and food is not fresh or worth the wait of the slowness. I wish them the best as they have a good product but in this town with multiple good taco options, they can't be anything less than spectacular.

Patrick N.

Yelp
This was my first time here and the tacos and all the food was great! I recommend the brisket and carnitas, OMG soooo good! Also a great cheap price for a lot of food. All the staff was very nice and friendly especially Edgar, he really made my experience wonderful! Thank you! I recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Latoria S.

Yelp
Want some greasy tacos, this is the place for you. After come in and order tacos to go and I was sadly disappointed. Only great thing here is the nice staff and queso. I bite into the barbacoa and tasted nothing but grease. Open my picadillo taco and the filling was falling out ( not in a good way). I ordered all tacos on corn. Normally other taco places give you two corn tacos per taco since their thin but not this place. What a waste of time and money.

R L.

Yelp
This was about the worst taco no wrong it was the worst taco I've ever had. When they put the tortilla on the grill and soaked with Pam spray I knew I was in trouble. There was no redeeming quality about these tacos. I think this is the first negative review I have ever given but want to spare you the same misery that I just experienced.

Franco V.

Yelp
You get what you pay for. Cust serv- terrible Food quality- $6 taco plate(4 tacos) is better than the other 10 taco places nearby charging $6 PER TACO. Overall, if you have patience to wait for your food and just need something quick to eat, than your fine here.

Aumber E.

Yelp
This place has the WORST customer service. The lady taking the Order informed us that she wanted to say NO to making the order and that we need to tell her in the beginning what we want to order. However she NEVER asked if there was anything that we wanted to add to the order. Then proceeded to say " I'm not your slave". Didn't want to give A bag for The to go order Or anything. WTF. If you don't want to work that's one thing but to be that rude and make something out of nothing over a customer putting in an order is another.

Megan G.

Yelp
My mom had bought one of this restaurant's tacos earlier and gave it to me. I actually liked it, but I think it needed some salsa to go with it. Other than that, it was fine.

Therral L.

Yelp
Laredo has really good tacos buuuuuutttt yes there's a but they are painfully slow and mismanaged. I hate waiting in line here because it takes them forever to make your food. It's not like they don't have the staff either. At any time you walk in there they are staffed with about 5 to 6 employees but only one person is getting the food and one is cooking and two ppl are standing by the register for some reason. A register that you can't even pay at. Once you get you food that you waited 100 years for the person at the register prints you a ticket where you then have to pay for it at a 7/11 register WTF!! Fix my plate let me pay so I can eat. There's an actual register next to the fake register but no one is ever there to ring you up so you have to go stand in line at the 7/11 side pay for you food then come back to the Laredo side to enjoy your meal. To top it off the 7/11 is really slow as well I mean no one here is in a hurry to do anything here aaggghhh.

Paul M.

Yelp
Ok, so I've been here numerous times now and tried several of the tacos. The size of the tacos for the price are to me a good deal. Considering there are other places around that claim their tacos are more 'gourmet' or 'hand made', this place is more like homemade but as fast food fare. The egg tacos aren't bad. Various types like chorizo and egg, etc. To me, the best ones are the meat tacos. The chicken or beef fajita tacos are well flavored and a good portion for like 2.50 (in a large flour tortilla). The Barbacoa, good but a little greasy. The picadillo - now that's a good taco. Like San Antonio taco good. Just make sure you ask for a plastic bag cause the standard paper bags they use sometimes break from the juice of any given taco. And ask for freshly made tortillas instead of premade.

Jilly H.

Yelp
I was excited to show my husband the new concept 7-11 store. We weren't smiled at, helped, anything. We decided to get tacos at Laredos. The staff was frazzled, arguing with each other, and then when we waited to pay for 5 minutes in another line, a young kid with earbuds in said.."I can't take cash only cards." I looked to see if we gave him a large bill. Our large bill that he couldn't break....was a $20.00 bill. Not even a sorry...nothing. Needless to say, we left without food and will not be returning ever again. This is a corporate owned 7-11 high profile store. I hope they get it together. How embarrassing for me to hype it up in the first place.

Dallas L.

Yelp
Southland Corp I visited Loredo Taco for the first time to pick up tacos for my office and it was like a circus...your staff members Ashley and Destiny are a poor example of what good customer service is all about....Ashley complained out loud on how many tacos people where ordering kept rolling her eyes anytime a customer order led more than two tacos...Destiny kept complaining that she wanted to go home when I ordered fresh squeezed orange juice she made me go get a staff member to help her pick up the orange box to refill the orange juice machine and I don't work there :) why are they working there if they do not enjoy there job...this is not a good team that you have in place to be running this great taco concept they need to get it together. Poor Customer Service!!!!!!!!

Carroll B.

Yelp
I almost gave them two stars because the food is so good, but the service was so bad that I couldn't bring myself to extend that grace. Half of the menu they were out of because they hadn't cooked enough. The staff was rude. The service was slow. I had to wait 10 to 15 minutes to get my food and instead of taking my payment they made me walk next-door to 7-Eleven and wait another five minutes on the register to open. Several people left because they didn't have time to wait any longer. I highly recommend Laredo Taco Company, but not this location.

Tim G.

Yelp
I cant get enough of this place the tacos are so big my coworker calls them burritos every thing is made fresh and there condiment bar is on point.

Daisha M.

Yelp
The food at Laredo Taco Company is utterly disgusting. It lacks flavor and is over cooked. The staff is very rude also.

E R.

Yelp
The food is as good as ever but the lines and wait times are pretty long and bad. Also, why stop serving breakfast tacos? It's your best and it's what everyone wants.

Filo V.

Yelp
Needs work. The laredo tacos in south texas are 100 times better. The beans don't even taste the same. Also whats up with all the 711 marketing /supervisors everytime i walk in that store about 50 of them every time.

Michael D.

Yelp
Second and probably last visit to this new location and new concept for 7-11. The first visit when I ordered a breakfast taco, I was asked what was in a breakfast taco??? It took 20 minutes with no line. The cashier had no change for a $20 bill and had to go to the 7-11 for change. You receive your food before paying, and in the absence of a cashier many people are just leaving with their food. There were at least 10 people working this morning and I was #5 in line. 30 minutes to get my taco. Once again the cashier had gone into the 7-11 for change. No one to take my money. I waited for her to return and paid. She was without question the rudest person I have ever encountered in any retail establishment. I have never seen such a disorganized business.

Chris M.

Yelp
DRY meat. Really disappointing. The 7-Eleven part is nice, but the taco joint is to be avoided. Carnitas were bad, black beans were gross, rice was unbearable. Sad.

William H.

Yelp
I live in walking distance and was sad to see not even one vegetarian option on the menu. I walked out and went to taco deli.

Michelle R.

Yelp
I recommend the chorizo and egg tacos to anyone coming here for breakfast, it's very delicious, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite and want something delicious

Sandra K.

Yelp
Purchased a Chorizo & egg taco. The tortilla was much thicker than they used to make and a lot smaller. The tortillas in the past were thin and very large, not anywhere near what I got today. The chorizo/egg was good but will go elsewhere where the tortillas are thin and big.

Sandra S.

Yelp
The review I am writing is not for this store, but seeing as there is no option to review the store I actually went to, I think it is important to let the area stores know what kind of rep the other area locations give out. This occurred at the Abrams and Park location, inside the 7-11. There is no area or district number to call, so here it is, and maybe they will contact ME. Don't waste your time and money. Ordered a plate with chips and salsa, and a chicken quesodilla through the drive thru. Got home with my order, only to find that my quesodilla wasn't in the bag. Drove back down there, went inside to give them the opportunity to make it right. The man behind the counter was nice enough, but the lady in the drive thru attempted to tell me that I hadn't paid for a quesodilla. She went, got a copy of my receipt, and read it off, low and behold there was the quesodilla. I asked her if there was a reason I should be paying for it again. The man behind the counter must have sensed my displeasure, because he hurriedly grabbed the quesodilla he had been preparing for me, and said, Here you go! Without so much as an apology for her rude behavior, or for trying to charge me again for items that I had already paid, I drove home to the dissatisfaction of a quesodilla with completely unmelted cheese. I probably wouldn't have written this review if I hadn't already been agitated before arriving, and they had seemed somewhat apologetic, but... Here we are. Learn some customer service skills, and some basic common decency. I know people make mistakes, but if you want your customers to come back, treat them like you want them to. Picture included.

Rosie Q.

Yelp
Hand made flour tortillas all the good stuffings. Fast clean good staff. This is one of my favorite place for breakfast!

De'Andre H.

Yelp
You guys have to try out this secret Taco place located with the new and approved 7-11 location off of Sylvan Ave... Tacos, Bowls, Chicken and more is very great in taste and people are nice and friendly if you're in the area don't forget to stop by you won't regret it !!

Cody F.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious the queso and picadillo are amazing

Sergio D.

Yelp
I wouldn't recommend these "tacos" to my worst enemy. I would rather go blind and hot glue Cheetos to my eyebrows then to go here again. Yes, it was that bad! :(
