Lares De Chacras

We stayed for 3 nights to visit the wineries of Mendoza. The hotel was perfect. The staff were helpful and engaging. The breakfast was fab and free wine tasting at 6.30! The hotel is small, just 10 rooms, and beautifully decorated with a lovely log fire in the lounge area. Very cosy and comfortable with a lovely atmosphere. There is a small pool and a hot tub, though it was a little too cold for us to take a dip. The hotel in a a small town called Luyan de Cuyo which was quiet but very pretty. There is a great winery called Pulmery about 0.5km away which I would highly recommend for a tour and a fabulous restaurant called La Gloria which ever recommended and it did not disappoint.

Lares de Chacras is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. It’s in a great location, with beautiful views of the Andes mountains. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, both before and during our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was fantastic, with delicious food and outstanding service. If you are looking for a calm, relaxing stay in a beautiful location, Lares de Chacras is perfect! Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable, and we hope to return one day!

Beautiful boutique hotel - the staff went out of their way to help you with all your sightseeing and eating requirements. Excellent food and a complimentary tasting of their own wines also offered. Nearby town withing essy walking distance offered many good dining and shopping opportunites

We had an incredible stay here! The hotel/rooms are beautiful and the hotel is in such a great location, walkable to the city square with many restaurants, bars, and markets nearby. Wonderful restaurant with great breakfast and evening wine happy hours. The service from the hotel staff is outstanding - Lares de Chacras exceeded all of our expectations! Highly recommend, we can’t wait to come back!

We were welcomed from the moment we arrived by very kind and helpful staff. Lovely rooms some with balconies overlooking a pretty garden, small pool and heated jacuzzi. Great breakfast selection with fruit, cakes, healthy nuts etc and 5 cooked options etc. Dinner also good, free wine tasting every night at 6.30 ! Chacras village also very safe and 200m walk to village with places to eat / drink amongst attractive squares. Would definitely go back to this hotel !

The staff were really friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent. Well decorated. Only very minor issues such as a loose wire in the bedside lamp and difficulty controlling the temperature on night one. An excellent base from which to explore Mendoza .

Great experience, very friendly and helpful staff, proving great advice. Highy quality breakfast and, more generally, a great chef. Great room, super clean, complimentary wine tasting every night, nice relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth recommending.

Beautiful stay!! Staff are so friendly and helpful and the room / surroundings are excellent. We had dinner one night and it was fab. Free wine tasting for guests is a lovely touch.

What a comfortable and welcoming boutique hotel in Mendoza. Just a short 35 minute drive for Mendoza Airport, you're greeted by the staff like they are welcoming you home. This is a gated hotel with 24 hour monitoring. A good feeling of security. With a very easy checkin, the staff member carried our bags to room 5. Spacious and comfortable. Very well appointed, comfortable bed and an amazing rain shower, shower. A/C and heat are individually controlled. In room safe was also provided. We had a wonderful view of the back area overlooking the pool and jacuzzi. Guests are very respectful of the quiet surroundings. Breakfast is includes with both a choice of continental style as well as some hot selections of egg dishes. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but if breakfast is any indication, it won't disappoint. It's located an easy walk to the town center of Chacras de Coria which has an abundance of shops as tasty restaurants. The staff is eager to help with restaurant recommendations/reservations, taxi calls, wine tours, bicycle rentals with an abundance of bike paths. Lastly but importantly, the staff here is just fantastic. Always helpful and kind. We would like to specifically thank Laura for her helpfulness, kindness, professionalism and hospitality. She was our point person from start to finish. She was great! All in all, if we were to return to Mendoza, this would be our go to home away from home. Many thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Yes this is generous review as it is one of the first. But, my wife and I had an incredible experience. We ate at the restaurant one night and had a great meal. Another night we came home lit up from our prior adventures and we were able to open up bottles of wine in their living room like lobby. The feeling of this place is like staying at your rich friends finca, not a hotel. Fabulous. Will stay again.

This is a very nice property located well outside of downtown Mendoza. There are several restaurants and bars within a 10 minute walk, which is nice. And the property has a wine cellar that you can select your wines from and have it charged to your room. The rooms are nice, but one of the rooms we stayed in had a broken AC unit, which wasn't great.
