Lares De Chacras was a very friendly small hotel with only about 11 rooms. I did find the location a bit isolating as the small town nearby didn't seem to have a lot going on. We stayed in room 10 and I found it a bit isolating as well. It was a spacious room with a nice shower but was very dark as the window was small with no view. I really wanted a balcony or patio room but they were fully booked. I think this could have made a big difference. The patio rooms looked onto the swimming pool area which gave you a nice option to be outside and allowed for more light in the rooms. However there were chairs around the pool and we did take advantage of those and sat out there. The service was excellent and the nicest part of our stay was every evening at 6:30 they had a wine tasting. They provided a bottle of wine, provided some insight to the wine and then the guests sampled it. This was such a nice opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow guests, share travel stories and unwind. Oh and breakfast was very nice with a small buffet and a small option of eggs and pancakes.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Lares de Chacras. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs - one of the highlights of our stay, as we needed to coordinate multiple things like tours and luggage storage. We utilized the laundry services, restaurant, and complimentary wine tasting and everything was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was also superb. The hotel has a very relaxing and cozy atmosphere and we would love to return someday.

We stayed here as a base in Mendoza to take a wine tour of some nearby vineyards and also to visit Mendoza itself. The hotel is in an ideal location, around half an hour from the airport and an easy taxi ride in to Mendoza city. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and suggested places to visit in Mendoza and alternative places to eat in the surrounding area. Nothing was too much trouble. They have a wine tasting every evening, where you can try some of their own wine and breakfast and dinner - we ate in every night - was excellent and so was the service. Finally the room was large, and had everything we needed in it for our stay, we were overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. This small boutique hotel is superb and when we visit Mendoza again we will definitely stay here.

My wife and I stayed here during our tour of Argentina. Located in a quiet side street, the hotel is a small, boutique oasis of calm. Rooms are stylishly appointed with all amenities you would need. Breakfast consists of a nice buffet with cooked items available to order. We decided to eat in the hotel on our first night and the only issue we had was a very long wait for the starters to appear (close to 50 minutes). All the staff were super friendly and helpful...special mention to Jose for restaurants recommendations. There are some cosy communal areas along with a very nice pool area with sunbeds etc. Overall recommended as a high class and stylish place to stay.

Everything was fantastic. The rooms were private and very comfortable and included a private outdoor table with access to the pool/hot tub.||Breakfast was lovely including a buffet with pastries, fresh fruit and juice, breads etc. as well as made to order eggs and espresso and tea blends. ||Most impressive was the hotel staff- always responsive and welcoming and happy to plan activities during the entire stay. We had an amazing Valley wine tour completely arranged, and great recommendations for other activities we took advantage of.

It is easy to recommend Lares De Chacras. ||The hotel and its staff are charming. Its interior nods to the rustic design of a farmhouse but with great polish. The rooms are well appointed and extremely comfortable, the restaurant and public spaces more like the dining or guest rooms of a home than the impersonal halls of a large hotel.||Its location in Lujan de Cuyo places it closer to the wineries of the region. The town center of Lujan de Cuyo itself is a charming place, with wine shops, good restaurants, and a local theater with tango lessons. ||During our stay we utilized the concierge of the hotel to help arrange tours and visits. Their recommendations and connections helped cut through the mess of larger tour sites, where options abound but the quality is hard to really judge. The tour and lunch that was arranged at Alta Vista rank among our favorite meals ever, and a later excursion of horse riding (with full galloping through vineyards) is equally memorable.||Again, it is easy to recommend a stay at Lares De Chacras.

A great place to stay in Mendoza province. You are so close to some great vineyards and the hotel is a perfect oasis to rest and relax in-between tastings. The staff are excellent, attentive and very helpful, the rooms are beautiful and everything just links together so well. The food and wine are great and breakfasts are a real highlight compared to other places.

Cannot recommend this hotel more! Staff are so gorgeous and welcoming. They even called an airline to get my booking reference as my phone broke. |Beautiful breakfast - can order hot dishes too. Some really lovely restaurants within walking distance.

Yelp
What a comfortable and welcoming boutique hotel in Mendoza. Just a short 35 minute drive for Mendoza Airport, you're greeted by the staff like they are welcoming you home. This is a gated hotel with 24 hour monitoring. A good feeling of security. With a very easy checkin, the staff member carried our bags to room 5. Spacious and comfortable. Very well appointed, comfortable bed and an amazing rain shower, shower. A/C and heat are individually controlled. In room safe was also provided. We had a wonderful view of the back area overlooking the pool and jacuzzi. Guests are very respectful of the quiet surroundings. Breakfast is includes with both a choice of continental style as well as some hot selections of egg dishes. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but if breakfast is any indication, it won't disappoint. It's located an easy walk to the town center of Chacras de Coria which has an abundance of shops as tasty restaurants. The staff is eager to help with restaurant recommendations/reservations, taxi calls, wine tours, bicycle rentals with an abundance of bike paths. Lastly but importantly, the staff here is just fantastic. Always helpful and kind. We would like to specifically thank Laura for her helpfulness, kindness, professionalism and hospitality. She was our point person from start to finish. She was great! All in all, if we were to return to Mendoza, this would be our go to home away from home. Many thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Yelp
Yes this is generous review as it is one of the first. But, my wife and I had an incredible experience. We ate at the restaurant one night and had a great meal. Another night we came home lit up from our prior adventures and we were able to open up bottles of wine in their living room like lobby. The feeling of this place is like staying at your rich friends finca, not a hotel. Fabulous. Will stay again.

Yelp
This is a very nice property located well outside of downtown Mendoza. There are several restaurants and bars within a 10 minute walk, which is nice. And the property has a wine cellar that you can select your wines from and have it charged to your room. The rooms are nice, but one of the rooms we stayed in had a broken AC unit, which wasn't great.
