"For cocktail nerds who don’t take themselves too seriously, how about chugging some crafties in a WWE-themed dive? Decked out with floor-to-ceiling wrestling art and memorabilia, White Center’s Lariat Bar is so dedicated to the bit it even has a miniature wrestling ring that doubles as a stage on karaoke nights. Cocktail menu mainstays include the Shayna Basil-er (a tribute to legendary wrestler Shayna Baszler) with Grey Goose, Giffard Peach, watermelon, basil, grapefruit, and bubbles, or the Hillbilly Gin, with Hendrick’s, Giffard Framboise, cardamom bitters, and lemon. Don’t miss their list of nonalcoholic drinks either, labeled “Kayfabe” — our favorite culinary wrestling analogy in a while, possibly ever." - Mark DeJoy

"Conceived as a wrestling-themed drinks den in White Center, the project will feature vintage posters, a small ring, and a life-sized Andre the Giant decal, and despite pandemic delays a Kickstarter helped keep it afloat. The bar plans to pour Future Primitive beer, mezcal cocktails, and serve concession-style food such as nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, and chili, while looking to support independent wrestling organizations and local groups." - Gabe Guarente
Most Anticipated Seattle Restaurant Openings, Fall 2020 | Eater Seattle
"I'm intrigued by the upcoming wrestling-themed drinks den in White Center, which will feature vintage posters, a small ring, and a life-sized Andre the Giant decal; after a Kickstarter campaign it aims to open in November serving Future Primitive beer, mezcal cocktails, concession-style food like nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, and chili, and to support independent wrestling organizations and local groups." - Gabe Guarente
Wrestling-Themed Lariat Bar Coming to Seattle’s White Center | Eater Seattle
"I'm excited about a wrestling-themed drinks destination called Lariat Bar planned to open in White Center later this spring; the 2,200-square-foot space at 9827 16th Ave SW will be decked out with vintage posters, a marquee, and a life-sized Andre the Giant decal, and a small ring will double as a stage for live music and as a reservable platform for pay-per-view commentary. A bar with “Smackdown”-like stage lighting will sit at the center of the action, serving Future Primitive beer, a cocktail menu heavy on mezcal, and plenty of non-alcoholic options; there won't be a full kitchen, but concession-style food such as nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, and chili will be available, and patrons can also play skeeball, darts, and pinball. The concept was dreamed up by three bartender friends—Stephanie Burggraf, Nate Little, and Jorge Perez—who launched a Kickstarter that has nearly doubled its initial $8,000 goal, aiming to open before White Center's Jubilee Days festival." - Gabe Guarente
Loved the service and ambience, fun place to catch up on major WWE events! It was a random find to catch up with a vibrant crowd and enthusiasm accompanied by cocktails, on tap drinks and nachos! 🍻 They have a minimal Food menu: nachos with cheese and jalapenos, Hot dogs (2 options). But you can get your own food from other restaurants inside Lariat.
Booth seating, high stool bar seats or just lounge on the old charm seats.
Requesting Lariat to add fries to their menu!

I've never had a bad experience here. The events are great, and they make sure to cultivate a no prejudice atmosphere. Bar staff are chill and friendly and make great drinks. I hope this bar lasts 100 years and 100 more.

Great bar! Nice staff and lots to do. The bar has a wrestling/Luchador theme that we really dug.
The staff was friendly and the bar is actually really large, this is a great gathering place for larger groups. They serve variety of hot dog creations in addition to some really great drinks.
Take your photo in the mini wrestling ring or play tons of vintage/old school video game consoles

Yelp
Every time I come for a drink, I'm always greeted well. The drinks are good. They have a pretty cool selection of bourbon that I like. They're accommodating and friendly. Really like some signature mixed drinks they make too.

Yelp
Great vibe, fun crowd and fantastic karaoke host!
Where else in Seattle (or anywhere) can you sing on a wrestling stage?

Yelp
Loved the staff and the overall vibe. They have great wrestling decor throughout the bar. Cocktails were okay and the hot dogs were good! I loved playing the dart machine towards the back of the room. Loved how inclusive this bar was and how friendly and approachable the owner was. I believe this bar is fairly new to the area and I plan on coming back with my friends very soon!

Yelp
If you like wrestling, even just a little bit, you should go here. The People's Elbow Macaroni Salad is good. Pinball and arcade games, decor, karaoke stage... All amazing. If you don't like that then we got two words for ya!
