The 2024 Eater Twin Cities Holiday Gift Guide | Eater Twin Cities

"The jewelry designer, locally famous for her sparklingly irreverent pieces, has an entire collection of food-themed jewelry. The cream of the crop may be these butter studs, with their ineffable Midwest vibe, but other earring options include pickles, corn dogs, strawberries, bananas, olives (for the martini lovers in your life), lemons, corn, tomatoes, garlic, eggs, lobsters, cheese, pop, mini meat cleavers, and milk and cookies." - Justine Jones

I am an huge fan of Larissa Loden's jewelry and own many pieces . Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the items that came in the grab bag I purchased for $50. Most of them felt more suited for children than adults, and as a 50-year-old professional, I really don’t see myself using any of it. I was also surprised by the overall value—I would be surprised if it was worth the $50 I paid, much less the potential $250 value that was advertised. A little more variety and a better mix of sizes and age-appropriate items could make a big difference. I would never buy another grab bag again from this company.

Cara was very kind and patient in the process of helping me customize some necklaces. This store has a lot of different options and ways to customize jewelry. I recommend checking this place out!

My friends and I got permanent jewelry here, and had a great experience! There were lots of beautiful chains to choose from, and the staff was really helpful and friendly. It was a quick process- we made appointments, but could have walked in with no issue. Can’t wait for my next Larissa Loden purchase!

Great jewelry great staff, and recently great events. I’ve long been a customer of the cute earrings and edgy vibes and then she started having Brunch crafting events! You go to the store and there’s a spread of local eats (usually Vikings and Goddesses), and then you spend the rest of the time crafting and hanging out. I’ve made earrings, clay dishes, and letterpress cards. Then of course the shopping. The customer service is responsive and easily make any little issue right. Parking is plentiful on the street.

This is such a incredible place to come and find unique and beautiful treasures. I have never made it here before today, initially it was the "permanent jewelry" sign that piqued my interest however it truly was an experience from opening the door and chatting with the friendly and knowledgeable members of the sales team. The energy in the place is so healing and inspiring creativity wherever you look. Such a breathtaking air of style and musically charged shopping and self expression. I feel invigorated after this and I am grateful. This place is amazing for fun gifts for others but is also a great self care day destination spot! Highly recommend.

I was visiting Minneapolis and drove to the St. Paul store. I'm glad I didn't buy online and went to the store. There are cute, unique items, but the quality is iffy for the price. I was ignored the whole time I was there, it's a small store. I just left disappointed.

This cheap necklace broke after 3 wears ...I tried to get it repaired but they wanted me to pay to securely package and then send back....it's basically new, that is crazy to ask. Again everything is very cheap, the necklace on arrival was tangled, knotted up, worst packaging ever!!! And the worst elitist customer service ever. I will never spend another $ on this superficial junk.

Saw this on our waitress in Savannah and I had to have it. How bad you ask? Went to the local store - they were out. Googled Amazon for replicas and said NO WAY. Went back to look at the merchant website and found the artists name and ordered direct. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS! I've already shared it on my Facebook and shared her link with coworkers. Beautifully made, great packaging. I'll be back!

Yelp
I first stumbled upon Larissa Loden last spring in MOA. I had no idea they even moved out of the mall. I was happy to be driving down Marshall and seeing LL near other cute shops. I love everything about this store. Such cute items, super women empowering and they do permanent jewelry!! I have been wanting to get anklets and add another bracelet to the one I already have but due to needing to have surgeries this year I have to wait a bit longer before committing to more permanent jewelry. The staff were super friendly! Store was clean. Street parking (no issues finding a spot out front but I could see it being a busier area in the warmer months).

Yelp
I decided to go here with my friend after seeing this gorgeous bracelet she was wearing. I was able to find a piece I loved immediately. And I had the pleasure of meeting the owner. She was absolutely wonderful & we all could have chatted for hours. She made sure my bracelet fitted exactly how I wanted it too. I'll definitely be back for more jewelry.

Yelp
My friends and I stopped in so the ladies in our group could check out some of the unique hair pins and whatnot. The store is really cool. They have a lot of cool hair pins shaped like avocado's, corn cobs, etc. they also have some other stuff geared towards women. I didn't purchase anything but the ladies did and they were pretty dang excited about their purchases.

Yelp
I went here specifically for the permanent jewelry. You can do bracelets, necklaces but I opted to get 2 anklets. You can choose silver or gold and they have so many options. Once you choose the jewelry you want, they size you, zap it and you're done! It's super quick and definitely worth it, now I'm ready for summer! Thank you for a great experience and quality jewelry! Make sure you shop around in the there too, quality jewelry and other fun wellness products.

Yelp
I love Larissa Loden! I've gotten a few of her pieces before the store opened, and now live just a few blocks away. The store itself is gorgeous (check out the stunning mural out front!), and they carry some fun items outside of her jewelry line. It's a great spot to find a personal and unique gift. Shout out to the jewelry bar: I got a necklace with my son's and future baby's birthstones and treasure it! I did get the birthstone hoop earrings first but they broke immediately - seem pretty fragile and wouldn't recommend them. However, in necklace form they're perfect, and the staff was super accomodating in my exchange!

Yelp
Ok. Larissa Loden is a fabulously adorable local business. Her pieces are unique and generally well made and reasonably priced. Here's my only complaint -- don't buy the necklaces with free standing letter (I had one that said BOSS, my moms friend has one that says FUCK). They don't lay flat and get constantly tangled while wearing them. While attempting to detangle mine, the chain broke. My friend said not to worry -- there is free repairs. She offered to bring it in for me since she's a huge Larissa Loden fan. Well. The chain repair was not free. The $12.50 wouldn't have even bothered me but the chain was entirely different color that did not match the letters. I was so sad and disappointed
