Lark by the Park

As someone who’s visited a lot of food places and does Food Reviews for a living I can 100% say I had such a great experience at Lark by the Park! The smoothies are absolutely delicious—(especially) the Mango Peach Blossom. It’s refreshing, perfectly balanced, and full of fresh fruit flavor. Definitely worth every penny! I also tried the Kale Salad with Grilled Chicken and wow—It’s flavorful, and cooked just right with that juicy texture edge. It’s the kind of salad that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate how good it is. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for quality food and drinks that are worth the price

Mark, the cashier is so friendly, welcoming and surprisingly attentive. He treated me like such a valued customer and made me feel really welcome and want to return. The cook that speaks Spanish, Israel was also very nice and caring and made sure I was really satisfied with my order. Their customer service was really top notch.

lucky for this neighborhood to have this spot in the middle of the park in case you need a bite to eat on this side of this neighborhood/prospect park side.got a cold brew with oatmilk. I needed something quick after a long train ride getting to prospect with my kid. French fries were so good and they gave me a lot. Hotdog was decent! I like the neighborhood/park having this place and being available for the community

The food looked pretty good but I went for a milkshake. It was the worst I've ever had. It wasn’t even ice cream, it was basically a vanilla ice and a lot of water. Stick with the food.

Really love the new version of the snack bar! Their cold brew is buzzing and the smash burger is a wonderful set of flavors. Excited to try more of the menu. It’s great to see a neighborhood staple like Lark in the Parade Grounds.

Nice place and good price. The best place to have the Arnold Palmer and Smash burger. Highly recommend. Friendly guys work here and they make perfect service. Thank you! 😊

Food is pretty good but they struggle with service. Four people were working and it took 10 minutes to get a drip coffee and a croissant. Wasn’t very busy either.

tl,dr: great, small cafe with a satisfying menu - the perfect addition to Parade Ground. Lark by the Park offers a great selection for a having such a small footprint. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is awesomely delicious. The brioche bun is soft and flakey and the tomato jam elevates the sandwich. The sweet potato fries are a must have as well. It's cute and honestly perfect for Parade Ground as there's usually a large number of parents and kids taking part in recreational sports on the weekends and evenings. It's beyond the traditional concession stand because the menu is more diverse and caters to adults and kids with quality food and beverages. There's no fancy lattes but you can get drip coffee, protein smoothies and teas. The prices are solid as well. 10/10. Would definitely recommend.
