My wife and I came here on a Sunday night to celebrate our late valentine day dinner. It worked out for us because my wife wanted to visit a store next door before coming here so I made reservations over OpenTable. We found parking easily in the front because this plaza usually doesn't get busy and has tons of parking spots. We checked in like 5 minutes after our reservation but I confirm on the text message that we were on the way. The inside of this restaurant is very dark, when we went to the Woodland Hills location the inside is much more brighter. It took like 5 minutes for us to get seated and we were seated toward the back. Our waitress was Danielle and she was wonderful with us. They give us complimentary bread and then we placed our food order. I went with their Chilean Sea bass (I usually get steak here) and I was able to sub out the asparagus with fries. My wife went with the Chardonnay Soaked Cedar Plank Salmon and got a side of the five cheese macaroni. Our food didn't take long to come out and we were excited to eat our meal. My wife like her Salmon and I tried it which I thought it was tasty. My Chilean Sea Bass was amazing but the rice had some hard pieces and munchy. My fries were crunchy and I don't think they have regular ketchup here unless my taste buds was off. When our waitress Danielle came back to check on us, I told her about my rice and she asked if I wanted a another side dish of rice but I told her it was fine. The highlight of the night was when I went to the bathroom and saw they have mouthwash there. I never saw that before at any steak or high end restaurant. Overall we had a good dinner and now I can say we tried the 3 Larsen location, the other one we tried was the Encino location.

Google
Superb, unexpectedly lavish steak restaurant in Simi Valley, better than Chili’s even though they’re wonderful, but importantly, far superior to that awful slum hole Sutter’s Mill and highly welcoming to clientele that is high-end and eclectic. Service is Beverly Hills level, attentive, polite. Great steaks from this authentic carvery, and Great burgers and sides too. We’ve at one time or another had each of these appetizers: Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Spinach Artichoke Dip Maryland Crab Cakes (yum) Filet Mignon Chili (so yum, see pic) and the only restaurant I’ve ever found that sells Filet Mignon Sliders! Highly recommend Larsen’s!

My nephew treated my brother and me to an amazing dinner at Larsen’s Steakhouse in Simi Valley. My brother had the sliced tri-tip and ribs 🥩🍖, I had the Chardonnay-soaked cedar plank salmon 🐟🍷, and my nephew enjoyed the prime ribeye 🥩🔥. We started with the Maryland crab cakes 🦀, jumbo bacon-wrapped shrimp 🦐🥓, and dinner rolls—everything was absolutely delicious! Chris, our waiter, was fantastic—friendly, professional, and spot-on with his recommendations 👏. As someone visiting from Dallas, Texas 🤠🌵, where steaks and BBQ are king, I have to say Larsen’s hit it out of the park. I’ll definitely be back! 🌟

Google
A great American steakhouse with some of the best staff and atmosphere of any restaurant. The staff is always attentive checking up to make sure everything is okay, while the atmosphere matches that of a steakhouse. The food for the most part was good. I got an Oscar style steak to celebrate--the steak was one of my favorites steaks I've ever tried. The butter cake is amazing, the prime rib dip sandwich...eh. Still, I definitely recommend to come to this restaurant for celebrations.

Google
Dry aged ribeye medium rare was more on the rare side. Cold water lobster tail was fantastic!! Sautéed broccolini was good. The loaded baked potato was huge!! The garlic cheese toast was really good. Really good glass of Malbec paired perfectly with the steak. Great anniversary dinner!! Super friendly staff, and very nice atmosphere. Easy parking. I highly enjoy this restaurant.

Google
Larson's Grill is an exceptional dining destination known for its high-quality steak and fresh seafood offerings. The tuna tartare is a standout dish and I highly recommend it. It has a Happy Hour menu full of variety. I consistently experience exemplary customer service at this Larsens.

Google
The positives.....food is stunning, the stuffed chicken breast, lobster bisque, and jalapeno cheese dip appetizer were the stars of the show, with a special appearance from the maple glazed carrots. That being said, the restaurant was a bit dark, our group is in our mid-forties and we struggled to read the menu. Our server seemed to struggle with the timing of service. Our appetizer arrived before our drinks, and we finished our meal before we could get refills (even water). The food runner seemed like he'd rather be anywhere than at work and it was a mood changer every time he approached. I'm hoping it was an off night, as I'd love to try more of the menu each time I'm in town.

Yelp
The ambiance is great always friendly staff. The food has improved so much from two years ago. But the main reason our family continues to come not just monthly but at this point weekly is because of Scott. He has been the best server we have ever had we do now consider him part of our family as we always return to Larson requesting to sit in his section for any family celebration or just a regular Sunday family dinner. Truly the place would not be the same without Scott there.

Yelp
Originally I did a reservation for 4, through an online service. Then my daughter wanted to know if her BFF could come too. I tried online to change the reservation but it wouldn't let me. I figured I'd call and see if they could squeeze in one more person. The person on the phone was courteous and helped us add a 5th person. Located in a mall, I wasn't expecting much. We arrived and were seated quickly. They sat us in a back room, it looked like they could have seated a larger or private party in this room. There was the 5 of us and another couple back there, so it was quiet and really nice. Wine bottles lined the back wall. Water and garlic rolls were brought out promptly. Those damn pillowy soft rolls slathered in butter and garlic. They are so good but beware, you'll fill up on them. A Negroni for me, my wife had a gin and cucumber drink and my son did a whiskey sour. The drinks were strong but not overpowering. We started with the tuna tartare and a couple of Cesar salads. The tuna dish was pretty, a tower of avocado and diced tuna served with wonton chips and a sauce. The dish tasted as good as it looked. The salads were good. I added anchovies to one of the Cesar's. Entree time, I ordered the age dried filet, with blue cheese as the topping, with broccolini. The filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The broccolini was sautéed with butter and had great flavor. My son liked his Hawian style tri tip. He raved about the mac and cheese. My daughter had the tri tip and ribs with mashed potatoes. She was happy with her choice. Her friend had the burger. The burger was massive and impressive looking. My wife ordered a filet too. She requested hers medium, and she was happy with the cook on her steak. She opted for French fries and they were good too. For dessert we decided to order a few items to share. The creme brûlée was creamy with the wonderful burnt sugar top. I thought it wasn't sweet enough but the rest of the table thought it was perfect. The butter cake was good. The table's favorite was the chocolate lava cake. Warm gooey chocolate, what's not to love. Service was top notch all night long. The price was on the higher side but for the quality of the food and the great service I thought It was worth it. I was wrong about being apprehensive about this restaurant. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
Larsen's is still one of our favorite places to come for our family celebrations. We've been here for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, mother's day, and to celebrate those we have lost. At every visit, the Larsen's staff has taken great care of us. The food and service have both been amazing. Everything I've tried on the menu has been great. A few of our favorites are the garlic cheese bread, the spinach artichoke dip, the beef dip, and the new york steak. And don't forget to finish your meal with a butter cake. The servers and staff are friendly and treat you like family. The restaurant is beautifully kept. We love Larsen's and will keep coming back.

Yelp
Came here last night for my sisters birthday dinner. Party of 6 it was great! Food was delicious! Starters were great I think best part of everyone's meal were the Brussels sprouts! A MUST!!! Spinach dip was great when hot and the tuna tartare was also good! My dads filet mignon was cooked perfectly and my New York steak was phenomenal! Nice and albeit garlicky just the way I like it! They do offer kids menu so my kids enjoyed their Mac and cheese and all in all a very epic meal. For a weekday, this restaurant was busy. Great food! Good service,Dark ambiance and delicious pound cake celebration desert! No pics this time around.

Yelp
We were greeted at the door & welcomed with friendly greeting & smile. We were quickly shown to our booth & provided a menu & water. Our server allowed for us to review the menu & explained specials of the day. Our meal began with house wine & our selection of salad. Salad was very fresh & tasty. House wine was very good as well. Our main course arrived shortly after having a little time to digest the salad. Both of our main courses were delicious as well with the steaks cooked to order. Steak was tender & delicious. We celebrated our 43rd anniversary with this delicious meal & were pleasantly surprised when server arrived to serve us a special dessert for our anniversary. Server was pleasant & made our anniversary celebration extra nice. I would recommend this Steak house here in Simi Valley.

Yelp
I had a delicious dinner for my company's holiday party last night. The restaurant was bustling with many families celebrating the holiday. The restaurant was cheerful and lit up perfectly with holiday decorations. We had three different appetizers, our choices of a main entree, and dessert. Shout out to my main entree and dessert. The Miso Chilean Sea Bass was crispy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside seasoned perfectly with asparagus, rice, and creamy sauce. The Creme Brûlée was torched perfectly creating a crunchy and caramel top- breaking through to a soft, smooth, vanilla creamy filling. It's my ultimate favorite dessert and a great way to end my tasty experience. The portions are very plentiful. Our servers Scott G and Shannon were so nice and attentive. They provided us with excellent service and fulfilled our every need. The night was magical, filled with fun, laughter, and great connections. Thank you Larsen's for my first experience at this location!

Craig G.

Yelp
Took my son for a belated birthday dinner, he had the one pound dry aged ribeye and I had the beef ribs! Both were delicious and filling! We also had the filet mignon sashimi appetizer, really good but do be aware that it comes on a bed of wasabi mashed potatoes! The wasabi will definitely clear your sinuses ! Service was impeccable and attentive! The table next to us was just giving the staff a hell of a time and they handled it like pros "think they wanted a free meal"

Azucena P.

Yelp
We came in on a Tuesday night. The service was great. The staff kept coming by to check on us and make sure everything was good. I had the chicken with Mac and cheese and asparagus. The sides were delicious, unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction to the chicken. Unfortunately other than the sides I was allergic to most of the menu. Everyone else at the table loved their food!

Yelp
We go every anniversary and are never disappointed. Great food and service. Prices are high but are worth it based on what you get.

Yelp
I dined at Larsen's Grill Simi Valley a few weeks ago for a business meeting. This is a great restaurant with great food and service. We ate in the dining room that was full of happy customers. The bar seemed very live and happy hour menu looked great which we did not try. I will definitely be back here when I am in the area. I definitely recommend this restaurant. I had the shrimp cocktail and a Caesar salad. The fillet was so flavorful with peppercorn sauce. It was cooked perfectly, and the butter cake was insanely amazing.

Linda R.

Yelp
Excellent food - from the appetizers to the main course and dessert. Kudos to our server, Scott, for keeping tabs on us without being intrusive. A great time was had by all!

Jed C.

Yelp
Celebrating our anniversary with my lovely bride, we got babysitting and decided to venture out to catch a movie and a nice dinner. We found Larsen's grill on Yelp with the reviews that were posted. We set up a reservation (which I highly recommend), and once we were there, we were greeted by yasmin at the front desk. She was very friendly and warm and got us to our table quickly, which was appreciated as we were pretty hungry. Our server Scott G. was nothing but awesome. He was very friendly and nothing but a joy to have as our server. He recommended pairings of what wine to have with our selection of meals, and they matched up perfectly. His recommendation of the Cajun sauce to go with my steak was fantastic. It totally brought a new wonderful taste to an already delicious cut of beef. Food wise, we started with a tomato and mozzarella salad, (i forget the name) but it was delicious. I chose the porterhouse with a side of greenbeans. The porterhouse was seared perfectly, and I got it medium rare which made it nice and juicy. The wifey got the sliced tri tip and Brussel sprouts. She mentioned that the sauce was just the right amount as we have experienced in the past from other restaurants where they slather it on and it just over whelms it. Dessert was the creme brule and Scott had the plate with a nice anniversary message, which was very much appreciated. Overall, our experience here was great. We definitely plan to come back again and experience the other choices on the menu.

Yelp
Food is always amazing. Had the steak with shrimp wrapped bacon and it was amazing. Service was spot on. They were attentive and constantly making sure we had everything we needed and the food was prepared properly. The restaurant is a little on the dark side but it gives it a nice ambiance. Can be very romantic. Also not very load inside which is nice. Don't have to talk load to hear each other.

Lexi M.

Yelp
Cool place with a great happy hour! We like to come here after work for some drinks and a solid steak & sides.

Bryn J.

Yelp
The last few times I've been the food has really gone down in quality and taste. I used to really enjoy coming here but everything is so one tone it's disappointing for the price you pay.

Mara R.

Yelp
Very nice host staff and management. Entrees, appetizers (tuna tartare), and dessert were delicious. They make a mean mule too! Some of the side dishes like the wild rice and broccolini I wouldn't recommend. The server (Nicole C) didn't time out the orders so our entrees arrived very shortly after our appetizers. We weren't even half way through eating our apps when the main course arrived. Also, she didn't bring us steak knives (we had to ask for them), she only took drink orders for half our table of 4 before leaving the table, she never came back to ask if we needed to refill our drinks except one visit near bill time for water. My hubby and I agree that the service was okay but below the service level you would expect at a restaurant with those price tags. We didn't feel well taken care of. Also, the waitress wasn't knowledgeable about the menu. My mother was trying to decide between entrees and was looking for a small portion. The waitress said the beef ribs are small. I knew that was BS but c'est la vie. We gave the minimum recommended tip of 18% but we received 10% tip service.

Yelp
Great food and my server was fantastic! He recommended dinner options and sides and was very attentive. Great atmosphere.

Yelp
I visited this steak house last week , because everyone said it's unbelievable ! Really ? Unbelievable ? Here is what I had ! I love a good Lobster bisque soup ! So I ordered it ! Well , when it was in front of me , it was too orange / red ? Tasted really nasty , almost old , & super salty and I had someone else who ordered it , say the same thing ! It was really gross ! I had a couple of spoons and couldn't eat anymore ! It was awful ! Sent it back ,of coarse it's not waiters fault even though there was a lot of apologizing , which honestly is nice but doesn't take away a crappy soup taste , the soup almost makes me not like lobster bisque soup anymore ! Just kidding ! Still love it ! Just not theirs ! Steak was not as good as our home made , prepared by my boyfriend ! Very dry now tasty ! Nothing special yet ! Grilled asparagus was the best I had that night ! And of coarse my soda ! Folks this is a steak house ? ! I didn't love or like it ! Ok atmosphere , but would not go back , because of the lobster bisque ! If u don't know how to make it , it shouldn't be on ur menu ! Sorry ! Best lobster bisque soup was Arthur's Landing Restaurant NJ by the Hudson River ! Larsons ! Who made the Lobster bisque soup , and more importantly Did they try it ? Waiters were very nice, friendly , but we all know that , when u go out to a place that's suppose to have amazing food , like the reviews say , we really don't care about waiters , as long as they are not rude ! We care about the food !

Arbi Z.

Yelp
After several visit over the course of a few years, I've noticed a downward slide in the quality of food and service one receives here at Larsen's. That being said, I think a two star review is rather generous considering my recent experiences. Here's a small sampling of what one can expect... Q: What's the soup of the day? A: Clam Chowder (It was chicken Tortilla) Q: Can I have a happy hour menu? A: We don't have happy hour on Fridays (What!?) I know no place is perfect but this place doesn't even seem to try anymore. The service is slow and food being sent back is a regular occurrence. Lastly, this place is waaaaayy to overpriced for what you get in the quality of their food and drinks and lukewarm service and their Signature cocktails rival that of your local TGIFriday's. $59 for seabass paired with unimaginative sides? $17 for a California roll? Where am I?

Rhonda G.

Yelp
My Tri tip was not very good.I have never had tri tip like this before. BBQ sauce was put on after it was cooked then put on the grill for char marks. The sauce was pretty overwhelming. The ribs were cooked the same way sauce added after it was cooked. But ribs were better then the tri tip. I ate 1 piece out of 3 pieces of tri tip. Broccolini was so big and I could not cut it because it was hard. Wont be going back! Service I will say was excellent! The bread and crab cake was the best part of the meal.

Steven D.

Yelp
First off Anthony the host is amazing second off Ethan the bartender is equally amazing They both made my experience here at Larsen super fun They deserve a raise. That is all. Enjoy.

Willard D.

Yelp
Excellent food and service everytime we come. Yesterday was no exception, Mike M provided excellent service and went above and beyond!

Sam G.

Yelp
There's limited options for steakhouses in Simi so decided to give this another try with the crew. The food was awful quality for the price. I decided to branch out and get the miso sea bass. It was the worst fish I've ever had. It tasted like it was freezer burned and stuck in a 450 degree oven for an hour. It was very obvious that it was previously frozen and not fresh for $60. I never send anything back but I sent this back and the waitress seemed a bit irritated about it. I ordered the filet instead medium and it was rare in the center. None of our steaks were cooked correctly so go up a notch when ordering your usual meat preference wellness. The garlic mashed potatoes were good but everything else definitely needs some work. Don't serve frozen overdone food at a steakhouse when charging those prices c'mon.

Dawn P.

Yelp
Great service, food, and atmosphere. Filet mignonette and sides were out of this world .

Kate M.

Yelp
Went here for dinner Friday night (10/27) and it was perfect. Start to finish. From the two helpful hostess, to the manager who ran to open our door to the best service by Scott G. And the food runners... like, it was really really great service. The mall was busy because of a Halloween event, but they were able to seat us outside (which I prefer because I have small children) My food and drinks came out in order and super fast. Which again, I have small children so I really appreciated that. My meal came out perfect cooked and exactly how I ordered it. Huge thank you to the entire staff for making our dinner so great.

Marly A.

Yelp
1/23 4:52PM- This review is for Aubrey, or I think her name was Audrey. She usually picks up the phone. My husband and I came from Agoura Hills to go to the Simi Valley location to pick up a butter cake for my birthday and she was sooo sweet on the phone and so beyond nice. Service with a smile and so polite. They just dont make em like that anymore. *claps* please give her a raise Mr. Manageerrrr!! Lol. -Love, A very happy pregnant lady who only wanted butter cake. :-)

Al C.

Yelp
Maggie our Server was outstanding . The food was fantastic.... best fillets we have had. Cooked to perfection and so was the service. Great overall dining experience... will be back.

William C.

Yelp
Wow first time eating here and it was delicious! Our server by the name of Chris was super nice and helpful with some recommendation's.. The food is great but be prepared to drop some coin as this is fine dinning. We got to have a great dinner and even some tasty cocktails made by the bartender Andy who was also very very nice. We will be back again!!!

Dorene D.

Yelp
Gave them another chance and no more. Previous to todays visit, we were last there on Christmas Eve and that was not a smooth visit, but we chalked it up to a very busy night but we did speak to the Manager about the incident and at the end she says, "hope you will give us another try". Well, we did, and here you go... we had a reservation @615pm inside, with a note on the reservation for a table not a booth. We showed up at our reserved time and the host preceding to take us to our BOOTH. Mentioned, we requested a table. We walked back up to the host stand and she looked at our reservation and I asked, "do you see my note?" She replied, "yes I do". What good is a note if no one reads it? Anyways, the other female at the host stand kept looking around for a table, and then proceeding to ask, if we were ok sitting outside. Sure, not our first choice but ok. Don't really understand why as there were tables visibly available, but again, whatever. Again we walked to the back-again-to be seated outside. Once seated, it was literally 12 min before anyone came over and it wasn't our waiter. It was the guy bringing our water. No waiter/waitress to speak of. Another table were seated at the only other table outside (one table of about 8 people, us-party of two, and then the other table with three. They were seated after us. Their waitress came out, greeted them asked them for their drinks looked back at our table and that was it. Again no greeting, no waitress. Another 15min go by and the same guy with water brings out bread to which we said, is a waiter going to come out. It was nearly 30 min and no waiter. That is completely unacceptable. I mentioned to him this is strike two and he can go up front with my husband to speak to the hostess, we are leaving. He was nice and apologized, not his fault, but... Husband walks up front not very happy gives a piece of his mind to the hostesses who were trying to tell him to not curse, really, we were sitting there nearly half an hour and no waiter, yeah, we were not happy. And yes, we walked out and happily went to another establishment with MUCH better service with respect of their patrons. Too bad, Larsen's used to be good, but the last two, and FINAL time, the service SUCKS. Larsen's, learn how to service your patrons before these bad reviews become the demise of your restaurant. For us, we are done with them. There are SO many steakhouses around; Holdren's, Mastro's, Ocean's Mastro, etc. Need I say more? Good riddance.

Andrea J.

Yelp
Food was just ok, service was overwhelmed. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable, but just short staffed so she was running around so much. Definitely overpriced for the quality of the food. I ordered the soup of the day (tri-tip veggie) and a salad. The "veggies" in the soup was only mushrooms. It lacked flavor and was a little too thick. The salad was underwhelming as well. I will say they do have amazing brussel sprouts as a side! LOVED those! The desserts were just ok too. We split butter cake (it was too dry), key lime pie (needed to be more tart), and chocolate lava cake (surprisingly, this was the hit!).

Ryan H.

Yelp
Food was cold and raw. Didn't have a good experience with my waiter either. They gave me the wrong sides. They then took my sides to get it replaced for the right ones I wanted but I never got my sides back. I wasn't even able to finish my steak for it being cold and raw. They wouldn't even take off the price for me or help out in any way. Very and service and experience.

Loan P.

Yelp
We just love the food and service here. Since moving to Simi, we keep hearing that restaurants don't last here. Well, if you offer good quality food and good service, you will last. Another wonderful night out with my husband. We of course chose Larsens. I had the stuffed lobster tail with crab meat and blackened shrimp. Delicious! This place is a gem. Until next time.

Angel B.

Yelp
Came here with the Fam Bam for Christmas dinner. Located in the Simi Valley town center with plenty of parking. This place has a very dark amptosphere. When we pulled up it looked like it was closed. It was just the lack of lighting. Service was amazing from start to finish. We started out with doughy garlic rolls. I took on a rib eye well done. Yea I know, I ruined a beautiful cut. It arrived closer to a medium finish with plenty of pink inside still. The meats come with a side and struggled between the Mac and Cheese and the Roasted Brussels. In the end the Brussels won. The steak came with a head of garlic that perfectly squeezed right out. Along with onions and mushrooms on the side. Everything was amazing. My parents had a Filet Minon and Prime Rib paired with garlic mashed potatoes and something else. The best thing about ordering different sides is sharing. Everything was amazing. Such a perfect Christmas meal. Prices are reasonable compared to other steak houses.

Stan F.

Yelp
Here's the thing, the food is good, the service is good, ambiance is good, but if I can die on any hill.. it's that the snowball is the greatest dessert ever made. Oreo soft crust over vanilla ice cream with a ring of fudge surrounding it. I may show up and just order a snowball and deal with whatever looks I get. Order dessert. Order the snowball. You're welcome.

Bonnie G.

Yelp
Have met Justin our host most evenings . If you sit in the patio or in the bar area justin might be your most awesome bar tender amd your most awesome server . He really goes the extra mile to make you happy. sensitive to my no garlic issues we always have a terrific meal here . I recommend a late evening seating post 8:00 pm if you want a more quiet evening it was lovely on Christmas eve Thank you Justin for a beautiful night and delicious Filet , NY Strip, Sushi , lobster bisque and the no garlic rolls ! The lovely blonde host always stops to chat she's very personable . entire staff here is good hard working decent people with great restaurant vibe . I think that's the Simi Vibe :)

Yelp
We went last night for an early dinner & it was wonderful! We had the pleasure of having Paula serve us. Food was delicious & drinks were even better. All around it was a win for our group! We will be back

Oscar J.

Yelp
Not coming back. This place is Good but not worth the exorbitant price of their menu. $200 for a bone in ribeye steak 2 sides and barely any crab leg??? Nope not worth it. $91 ribeye steak with 2 sides? Nope not worth it. Don't get me wrong, the steaks weren't bad but they weren't amazing either given the price. I've had similar to better steaks at much nicer restaurants for less money. You would think for the price of their menu you would at least have an ocean view, city lights or entertainment of some sort but this This restaurant is in a mall with view of the parking lot. We're not coming back, too many other options with similar food at more affordable prices.

Ashley C.

Yelp
Food was okay . Service was subpar. I was chalk these types of experiences up that my husband and I look young so they automatically give us bad service. We tip extremely well. They didn't bring us bread even though they said they would. We had dirty plates sitting in front of us for over 10 minutes. For 300.00 I would not be back.

Kim L.

Yelp
I took my mom here last night 04/21/23. We walked in the door and two smiling faces welcomed us and one of them immediately lead us to a table. Shortly after being seated, our lovely, attentive and smiling server, Alexis arrived at our table. We ordered drinks and they arrived in a timely manner. Alexis took our order, she was Amazing, by the way!! Shortly, after ordering, our shrimp cocktail came out and our salad. Delicious Next our melt in your mouth, perfectly cooked filet mignon arrived along with perfectly grilled asparagus. During our meal the manager stopped by to ask how everything was...What??? That never happens?? That was such a nice touch and throughout our meal, several smiling faces stopped by to pick up empty plates. A perfect ending to my moms birthday dinner was a creamed brûlée. What an Amazing Dinner Experience!!!! Thank You Larsen's Team!!!

Yelp
Great steakhouse with wonderful service. My family has been dining there for years. Mostly on special occasions and they never disappoint. That's why we keep coming back. Recently did Thanksgiving dinner, meal tasted just like home. They even have seconds of requested. Ambiance is very nice, a little too dark for the older crowd. Pricing was fair for today's times.

Yelp
I did an array of the happy hour items including the shrimp cocktail, crab cake, filet sliders and wedge salad. Food was fantastic and full of flavor. The service was also good and well as a nice relaxing atmosphere.

One of the best steakhouses I've ever been to. Little pricey, but definitely worth it no matter what you get. drinks are great also

Yelp
The food was superb, and the service was excellent. It was a perfect place for a wedding rehearsal dinner.

Yelp
I visited my mother in Simi and took her out for dinner. I would recommend to make a reservation ahead of time. I order ribeye with mashed potatoes and grill asparagus. Well, the menu listed "grilled asparagus" and I got sautéed asparagus. I was a little disappointed by that since I expected the grill markings on the asparagus. My mother ordered the roasted chicken and my sister ordered the pesto pasta. All dishes were really really good! The mushroom gravy was a bit too salty to my liking. As I mentioned before, I recommend making a reservation because our waiter was a bartender. It did take a good effort to get her attention for service. I had to wait at least two minutes to ask for a steak knife. I figure if you get a reservation your waiter will be able to attend to you frequently. The young server who brought out our food should get re-train on how to hand over the plates. For instance, when he called out the ribeye plate I said it was mine. He continues to reach over and hand me my plate and spilled my steak sauce. Overall, it was better than expected. I will definitely return since we all enjoyed our meals.

Yelp
Need more fancy restaurants in Simi Valley. This is literally the only fancy restaurant in this town. So much potential to have many more of restaurants like this in this city

Yelp
We save Larsen's for special occasions because it's pricey, so we bring major expectations. Our dinner, from service to food (bacon-wrapped shrimp app, wedge salads, tomato/buratta salad, a roast chicken and rice entree, tri-tip entree, and a roast beef dip sandwich) was terrific. The portions were generous and the proteins were beautifully cooked and the sides were great. Service was attentive, although a water refill would've been appreciated. We were there at 5:30 on a Saturday and it was too noisy, almost sports bar noisy, but at least it was jolly noisy. Overall, a very good experience. It's nice to know that Larsen's can still bring it after all these years.

Yelp
Over rated - food good servers tried but not trained well. We sat at a half booth and half table where the seats we so low, my mother in law was embarrassed to ask for help to get up.

Yelp
Hit or miss on the steaks. Most of the time cooked incorrectly. Wish they were more cosistent especially when bring out of town guests. Sometime a litlle embarassing that I do not know what a good steak is.
