We got a cake from L’Arte for our wedding. It was so delicious (the unanimous favorite at our tasting) and several guests told us it was the best cake they had ever eaten. Could not recommend more! The tasting was also fun and easy to set up.

For my daughter’s fresh off the market Italian themed bridal shower, we catered some breakfast foods from L’Arte (pizzette, cornetti, bigne salati and fancy personalized cookies). They blew us away with the food, the service and the quality. We were transported right back to a cafe in Italy, sipping on espresso and enjoying a cornetti al cioccolato. The food was so beautiful and came packaged in strong decorative boxes, I cannot thank you enough for the care and great job that you guys did. The personalized cookies were exactly what we were looking for, everyone was impressed with them! We appreciate quality ingredients and delicious food and you now have a family of customers for life here! Mille Grazie from Sabrina, John and Alisa Zaita 🇮🇹❤️

My son and I visited this amazing cafe in the fall of 2023, and I've wanted to come back ever since. Usually everything is closed in Ramsey on Sundays, but what an incredible stroke of luck for us that this cafe was open on Easter Sunday! I ordered their "Egg in the Basket" while my husband ordered fried egg on a brioche, with coffee and Earl Grey tea for accompaniment. The Egg in the Basket was so skilfully cooked that at first my husband had trouble believing there was an egg inside what looked like a nicely toasted piece of bread :-). When I bit into it, the yoke ran out - what perfection! I love soft cooked eggs! While our breakfast was being prepared in the kitchen, I scanned their massive selection of desserts and decided on two items: Treccina Crema e Noci and Tartufo el Cioccolato. They were both delightful but the chocolate cream puff was definitely the champion! Even though there was a sign "No Table Service Today" - everything was handed out in take-out boxes - the waiting staff still brought our coffee and tea to the table, and later on gave us metal utensils. Although it was quite busy, the customers always received immediate attention from the little battalion of staff behind the counter. We will definitely come back to try more items, and pack home some of their bread too!

I ordered a cake for my daughter's wedding shower - site unseen. The ordering process was easy, the baker(s) helpful with the design process, and the cake was incredible! Beautiful beyond my expectations and so delicious! Thank you for making our experience wonderful!

Google
We had L’Arte come to our wedding and do a traditional Italian Millefoglie cake performance! It was such a hit! Such a unique part of our wedding and the cake was absolutely delicious. We can’t thank them enough!

Google
We were passing through from Boston back home to Tennessee, and I picked out a bakery to try on the way. This just happened to be the one I chose, and it was well worth it!! Next time we come back through we will definitely stop again! The cannolis and gelato were both wonderful and customer service was great as well!

We stopped into *L’Arte della Pasticceria* without an appointment just two weeks before our wedding, and Chef Andrea was wonderful in accommodating our request for a small wedding cake. Despite the last-minute nature, he and his team were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The cake they created was both beautiful and delicious—exactly what we were looking for. Chef Andrea even came to our venue personally to add the final decorative touches. We couldn’t have been happier with the exceptional service and unforgettable cake. Thank you, Chef Andrea, for making our day so special! Nick & Jenn

Pastry in this place is just fantastic. They have a full assortment of cakes and pastry. We tried a Cappuccino and a cocktail and was very good as well. You will find unique pastry products in this place not found elsewhere in the area.

Yelp
This is such a cute little place. It was my first time here. it was a little fancy for me lol but the desserts were delicious. Definitely a little pricey, but it's worth it. Got to meet the chef as well. Who was there when I was at the establishment the first time. Very talented. Besides the desserts, you can get yummy sandwiches, different drinks and coffees, but it's definitely a cute little place to go for lunch or if you're in the neighborhood. What a cute town. Stop by if you're in the mood for some tasty treats.

Yelp
L'arte is a charming spot that has quickly become one of my go-to cafes. Their iced coffee is a standout, made with coffee ice cubes that keep it flavorful to the last drop--such a genius touch! The pastries are incredible, and I appreciate that they offer a few gluten-free options. We often order lunch here, and it's always delicious. The only downside is that they don't allow any customizations on the paninis, which I understand but can be a little limiting. My go to is their caprese panini which is perfectly sized and portioned. The only downside was they wouldn't allow me to add chicken for a source of protein. Service is friendly and helpful, many times there is a long line but they move fast. Usually the girls behind the counter are younger and sometimes a bit spacey but they mean well and you just need to be a little patient sometimes. The cozy seating, both inside and outside, makes it a perfect spot to relax. Overall, a wonderful cafe experience!

Yelp
amazing bakery! the staff is quick to greet you & overall very friendly. the shop has a limited but diverse array of sweet treats & cakes. there is also a freezer with some frozen desserts! some booth & chair seating line the bakery, which makes for inviting conversation with company. ordered some cookies & chocolate bark, as well as an affogato (vanilla gelato with 1 shot of espresso) - all delish ! the affogato was perfect. ordered cakes here in the past and they have been sinfully delicious (the chocolate overload cake of fudge, ganache, and buttercream is the fan fav).
google avatar

Yelp
What a cute little coffee shop! A delicious selection of pastries including cute sugar cookies decorated uniquely! (The designs are all different!) they also have gelato and decorate their interiors for the season. The latte was delicious and served hot. I enjoyed it.

Yelp
After spending a week in Sicily, I'm so happy to have discovered a bakery that will help me miss the food a little less! Just having pistachio cream options makes me happy! It's nice and clean inside, service is great - lots of patience for an undecided pastry lover haha My bf got the Italian Grilled Cheese (w/o pancetta), they bake the bread on site and it has the perfect crunchy exterior while still easy to bite through! Looking forward to going back and hopefully getting a Pistachio Cornetto before they sell out!

Yelp
Tried L'Arte Della Pasticceria with friends recently. I've been meaning to try this place for a while. I was stuffed from a nearby dinner, so I didn't try as much as I wanted. That said, I can still report on what I experienced. First impression, the place is absolutely gleaming. Clean and modern, with gorgeous cases filled with beautiful pastries and colorful gelato. The service was extremely friendly, they let my friends try a comical amount of gelato flavors. I selected their two types of mini cannolis. The chocolate dusted one has pastry cream and the pistachio dusted has the traditional cannoli filling. Both were quite good, if I had to quibble at all, they would benefit from being filled to order. (I understand why they don't in a busy shop) My friends absolutely loved their gelato. I'll certainly return to try more dessert and to give their coffee a shot!

I had the chance to meet the owner at an event networking last night and his gelato reminded me of sicily! My colleague went back 5x for more! Ty forvthe taste of home!

Yelp
I have visited L'Arte often for excellent coffee, cake, and pastries. For special occasions, I ordered the Italian cheesecake and apple pie. Both were delicious! I really enjoyed ALL of the cookies I took home. My all time favorite cookies are the cucciddati or fig cookies and the pignoli cookies. I've also enjoyed a quality chicken panini. There are savory items you can order. Definitely check out L'Arte if you are in the area. It's an excellent atmosphere with outdoor seating available. Looking forward to my next visit!

Yelp
I custom ordered a heart shape birthday cake here and it was delicious! Chocolate cake with chocolate cream and raspberry jam filling, pink vanilla cream icing. It was really really really the most scrumptious cake I have tried in this area! Everyone at the birthday party said that they love the cake and asked where I got it from. The chocolate cake was full of chocolate flavor and not so sweet where you'd just taste the sugar. The cake was so good that I went back a few days later to try their pastries. I got their most popular crumb cake, pistachio mousse cake, chocolate with vanilla filing cream puff and vanilla as vanilla with chocolate filling cream puff, and cannolis . I love the pistachio cannoli

Yelp
I love stopping here when in town for a hair appointment at Straight Ahead next door. The coffees, cookies, ice cream, and pastries are all delicious. And the service is friendly. A little expensive, but it is on Main Street, and well worth it for a special treat!

Yelp
Cute bakery in town with friendly staff! Lots of options to choose from, even near closing time at 9pm on a weekday, which is pretty late for a bakery. The baked goods were still very fresh and very aesthetically pleasing. I really liked the richness of the trio de cioccolato, and it wasn't too sweet. Although I did feel the base of the pastry was a little too dry. They also let us have a few baked goods on the house because they didn't want to have to throw away anything at closing, which I really appreciated! Will be back if I'm in the area!

Yelp
Stop in for some coffee instead of the green corporate coffee shop. Staff have been very friendly and pastries are quality as always. Most aren't too sweet. Recently tried their donuts and they are very good.

Yelp
Horrible Service, Above average cake... I Was excited to order a special B-Day cake (confirmed twice with the manager) well in advance for my mother's special milestone celebration. Our large group had a 530pm reservation across the street at Café Panache restaurant, and when I arrived at 525pm to pick up the cake, the counter attendants couldn't find my cake anywhere in the place. Turns out, they never prepared my order, so they grabbed a pre-made cake from the display and I had to wait 20 minutes for them to write her name on the cake... My dinner party, and the restaurant were not amused that I was 20 minutes late for the reservation, and held up the process of ordering... The cake was good, but not great... The Service and professionalism was horrible... BE WARNED!!!

Yelp
We ordered a birthday cake for my kid and the staff was very courteous and friendly when taking the order, made it easy to order and accommodated the Harry Potter cake design we asked, it was not exactly how we wanted it but the end result was really nice anyway. The main reason for a five star rating is how good the cake tasted, their chocolate cake is perfect and I would definitely recommend this place again! We got compliments from our guests and we loved the cake too. The cake shop is cute with nice ambience! Thank you!

Yelp
In downtown Ramsey lies a gem. If you have a sweet tooth this is place to come. This bakery also offers a savory menu which is a plus. There are small tables that line the walls of the shop with a large center counter filled with the most delicious desserts. Sadly there are no gluten free options of bread. We decided to grab lunch and I had the apple arugula salad and chamomile hot tea. The almond flour cake that's a must. It's not too sweet and does not leave you feeling guilty. This place has so much to offer. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Finding parking on the street is your only challenge. Bon appétit

Yelp
Delicious, fancy pastries, gelato, coffee and paninis. I got the "chef's kiss", which was a miniature, rich, velvety textured chocolate cake confection with a delicate touch of raspberry jam, a chocolate eclair, and a decaf americano. They also have some great panini on the menu, which I'm looking forward to trying the next time. They also do fancy, custom cakes!! Atmosphere at 9pm on a Saturday night was pleasantly chatty with nice music playing in the background. Decor is cute, with decorated masquerade masks hanging in one wall, pleasant lighting, and greenery tumbling down another. Lots of tables for two, plus one large group table in the back, plus outdoor seating. Would be a cute date night stop, as well as a great place to get lunch, ice cream, coffee or other treats at pretty much any other time.

Yelp
delicious pastries, very small and not many indoor seating options so not exactly the best for a sit down- but great for grabbing some sweets
google avatar

Yelp
Been here so many times with my family and we love it! They have delicious desserts, and pastries. Can't go wrong with any of them. Services is great. Just wish they had more seating. Sometimes it can get super crowded.
google avatar

Jill M.

Yelp
The best desserts around. You can't go wrong with any cookie, tart, cake, muffin, etc etc etc. Everything is delicious. Highly recommend the gingerbread cookies.
google avatar

Mel Y.

Yelp
Pricey desserts/food, elegant atmosphere that's not stuffy We came here for dessert and they had quite a few options. Nothing was priced, which means $$$. They have a selection of cakes, cookies, bread, Gelato, drinks. They had only a few vegan items. The only negative was the Chai latte which tasted like water; i didn't see a tea bag so likely they forgot it. By the time I realized, it was too late to go back.
google avatar

Giada G.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place but other than the decor (very authentic) it s not even worth $5 of the $20 I spent on 2 croissants and 2 cappuccinos. The Croissants are the same as the chewy ones you buy frozen from the store. Not to mention the chocolate one has as little cream as you can get . The cappuccino was the most embarrassing I have ever seen, no foam, watery has ever and the waitress brought it over all overflown in the little plate underneath (she was super nice, but, really?!). I asked her to re make it with more creamy foam, she brings it over identical, so I gave up. I honestly feel ripped off.

Yelp
This place is a 5 star! Everything was AMAZING! I had the eggs in the basket, the BOMBolini was BOMB! Latte hit the spot! The service was very professional! Andrea, the head chef was very friendly and you can tell he's passionate about his work the way he talks about the different items.
google avatar

Jenna P.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best Italian spots around! Everything they serve is delicious. Highly recommend the Italian grilled cheese and the Passionfruit Gelato. I've tried a bunch of food and pastries here and love everything!

Alphonso R.

Yelp
Everything was great! The paninis were awesome and the almond croissant was unlike no other. If I had one little complaint (which doesn't affect my 5 star rating because everything was so strong) it would be that they don't do free refills on coffee. What's up w/that?!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Regina and her staff are incredible and delivers great baked goods and coffees consistently. We always have a great experience when we visit to stay or take out. The selection of her cakes and desserts are awesome and delicious

Yelp
I frequent here during work breaks and order their pastries and it's always gorgeous in here. One day I'll try their drinks.

Yelp
let's start with ambiance, nicely done. very nice inside white decor, tables along the wall and two in each window. lovely coffee shop. Service, depends on the night and who is working. Sometimes it pleasant and sometimes it's not. Service is not very consistent. i have been coming here since it opened and I feel it was much better and better tasting at the beginning. A few times I have brought fiends here and they are never impressed tonight I purchased the following; Cannoli, soggy shell Trio Di Cioccoleto Mousse Square- way to much mousse TriColore - we all over tricolor cookies. theirs were a bit bigger than usual and ok. might of been the best i ordered. Castagnole- a donut type pasty with a ricotta filling. it was and overload of cannoli cream. more filling than pasty. took most of it out before i ate it. Sfogliatella, a classic, not here. not worth the purchase Gelato, expresso, very good. and i ordered vanilla with Italian cherries. very good but barely any cherry syrup and absolutely no cherries. The gelato came with a cute heart shaped butter cookie on top, yet it tasted like the fridge. Not that my suggestions would steer them in any direction, due to they have a following which to appears to be people that are unfamiliar with real Italian pastries. But cut back in the fancy boxes and put more into the true essence of your product. This place was so much better when they first opened.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place but left disappointed and uneased. I must have done something unforgivable to the lady behind the cashier to be greeted with rudeness. My first time here never met her in my life I didn't finished my ordered and she already made my latte, which I didn't even get the chance to let her know I wanted to use half and half for my latte. When I pointed it out to her. She was like, "we already made it, well, we can remake it." At this point, her attitude already made me felt so unease. I just don't want anymore interaction with her. I should've just walk out since I didn't complete the order with payment. Anyway, pasties are good but definitely not worth the bad feelings. Life is too short to made feel like sh*t. On top of that, the latte was extremely tasteless, luke warm (almost forgot to mention how do you just made the latte and it is luke warm?? Made it yesterday??), and ugly looking. Yes, ugly looking, if you are latte lover like me then you will know what I mean.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
I came here because of all the great reviews. Perhaps, I came here on a bad day, and the pastry chef took off for the holiday weekend. I bought a brown butter Nutella cookie and a Nutella filled crumb cake. They tasted like they were made the day before Thanksgiving on Wednesday and didn't sell. Today is Saturday. I'm guessing the pastry chef took off for the holiday weekend, and just left whatever leftovers she had to sell for the weekend. I can tell the crumb cake filled with Nutella would of been delicious if it were had been made today. I'd still come back and try their desserts on another day because of the great reviews.

Yelp
L'Arte Della Pasticceria created a beautiful cake for our daughter and her fiancé for their "proposal luncheon." It not only looked beautiful, but tasted delicious as well.

Laura M.

Yelp
Gelato was absolutely delicious! The pastries were amazing too! When we went, it was a bit busy but the staff was courteous and efficient. Highly recommend!

Vanessa S.

Yelp
This is my all time favorite bakery! Not only is all the food and pastry amazing but when I mistakenly used a wrong address for delivery, Regina worked with me to remedy the issue quickly! Best food, best service!
google avatar

Emma K.

Yelp
We have eaten here many times for lunch or dessert and the food is always good. We chose to do our wedding cake through them and the process was effortless. We were given perfect portions for tasting and everything had great flavor. In the end we chose lemoncello with less frosting than a traditional cake. It can put beautifully and our guests loved it.
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
A very cute Italian style patisserie/cafe/gelateria offering mouth-watering desserts, gelato, and even a selection of sandwiches. The decor is modern and airy, the staff friendly. I tried the gelato and sorbet, . The cappuccino could stand to be a bit hotter - it was only on the warm side, but I will definitely be back soon to try some of their other tasty treats!
google avatar

Mary R.

Yelp
Delicious cakes! Had a scrumptious limoncello cake for my son's wedding. Can't wait to go back to try some of the other cakes. Lovely place to sit with a yummy pastry or gelato, mango is my favorite, and a cappuccino.
google avatar

Susi G.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing desserts ( cakes, cookies and homemade gelato - perfection!) Definitely 5 stars for this gem.

Yelp
If you're in search of a custom cake, look no further! Chef Andrea and his team at L'Arte do an exceptional job. I knew I wanted a unique cake and smash cake for my son's 1st birthday, but Chef Andrea prepared a masterpiece that far exceeded my expectations. I had the opportunity to connect with him directly to discuss what I wanted and share example thought starter pictures. He was prompt in his reply to all communication and the cake he prepared not only brought my vision to life but took it to the next level. Everyone at our event complimented the cake but most importantly raved about how delicious it was. My son's smash cake was also a resounding hit! He devoured it and had a ton of fun in the process. I highly recommend placing your next custom cake order at L'Arte if you're looking for a piece of art that tastes even better than it looks!

Yelp
Cookies by the pound are so delicious and fresh here. Everything baked on site and done every day. The girls are always so helpful and we always do a variety of their cookies. Hazelnut and lemon butter cookies are fav of ours. Buttery, crumbly and perfectly not oversweetened. Two outdoor tables available to indulge right away with a cup of tea or espresso. They are also open until 10pm which is awesome for an after dinner treat.

Ruby F.

Yelp
My wedding was blessed with one of Chef Andrea's wedding cakes. From the beginning of our wedding planning journey, chef was such a pleasure to work with. He took the time to chat with us about our vision for our cake as well as help with gauging how much we need. He is so thoughtful and even reminded me of potential allergy concerns showing just how much he cares. I initially wanted a pistachio cream cake and ended up with chocolate and vanilla cake which was such a hit at our event. I've had so many people come up to me to tell me how delicious the cake was and some even went back for multiple servings! Thank you so much chef - you are so appreciated!

Yelp
Cute little pastry shop. Always great service. Absolutely delicious every single time. The little chocolate mouse cups are my favorite and the tri color cookies. Highly recommend

Yelp
L'Arte is the best bakery around! We moved to CA a few years ago and my husband's fav was the torta caprese al limone cake. Guess what? Right now, they are shipping across the country for free! (Take advantage while that is happening!) For Father's Day I had the cake shipped to us - it arrived in perfect shape and tasted amazing, as always! I am planning to have my favorite, the sbrisolona - shipped to us for a weekend getaway at a friend's house. I can't recommend L'Arte enough - their cakes and pastries are amazing. They also have great breakfast and lunch items and their gelato was just named #1in NJ!

Jeanne R.

Yelp
I have wanted to go here for a long time and finally had an opportunity. The girl who took my order was very friendly. I ordered the Egg and cheese on a brioche bun ($6.95) and coffee ($2.95). I charged it and when the tip popped up I left $2 even though you order at the counter I felt obligated to do that. When the waitress brought my order she said I don't know how they got this done so quickly (and it was) I agreed with her. I was shocked at how "little" the sandwich was and even more shocked when I started to eat it and it was cold. Yes, I should have sent it back, but I decided to just eat and leave my $11 plus breakfast and never return. The sandwich btw was awful and it must have been premade to be brought out as fast as it was. I think the waitress was even embarrassed- hence her comment. The pastries look great maybe they should stick with that!!!

Yelp
March 2023. I remain a big fan of L'Arte and saw over the last year some very good authentic talent there. However some constructive remarks here - San Giuseppe zeppole were have to say remarkably bad. I've had better at shop rite bakery. Taking their scratch made pastry and filling it with pastry cream / so far so good - but then putting hard white chocolate icing on it and topping it with an industrial grade chem ridden "cherry" is crazy. Especially for this shop with great Sicilian tradition. They also didn't say it had that icing on it. Second was the Baba - great well made pastry again but soaked in cheap industrial rum flavoring and then providing a squeeze bottle of artificial lemon flavor makes me wonder where the shop rite pastry chef went to .... Hmmm. I keep my 4 star review. Not many scratch bakeries around but for San G zeppole I May try Uncle G ! Not really but wow. ..

Yelp
Basically writing reviews at this point to keep track of places I like. This place I like. A lot. Great coffee - great sandwich (chicken romesco) - great cookies (brown butter nutella). Loved it.

Yelp
Since visiting a bakery in Spoleto, Italy, I've dreaming of the incredible pastries we enjoyed there. It took four years, but I was transported back that Italian bakery when I stepped into L'Arte della Pasticciera. Sublime. Each and every thing I tasted.
