Original Amor y Amargo, Acclaimed Cocktail Bar, Is Closing NYE - Eater NY

"Italian restaurant L’Artusi had filed a liquor license for 105 Christopher Street near Bleecker Street, which was originally the home of I Sodi, before it relocated earlier this year. A spokesperson confirms the Supper Club at L’Artusi will debut at the end of January 2024. With room for 45 standing and 30 seated, the space will be used for extended private dining as well as regular ticketed events." - Emma Orlow

My first time at L'Artusi's Supper Club location. The occasion was a Bruno Rocca wine tasting dinner with Luisa Rocca present to explain the wines and the process her family's vineyard still uses to this day. The 6-course dinner was very good with standouts including the smoked beet with caper-anchovy mascarpone, the Japanese eggplant with shitakes, and my absolute favorite, the confit duck leg with dates, olives and radicchio. It was a perfectly curated and managed evening. Kudos to the whole team. Also, I want to add that as a solo diner I really appreciated how welcome the L'Artusi group, the wine makers, and my fellow guests made me feel.
