"Equal parts grocery store, butcher shop, and taqueria, Las Cazuelas also has the avocado green walls and fluorescent lighting to set the taco-eating mood. Al pastor shaved off the trompo is just one of ten meats offered, including lengua, cabeza, and chorizo, all which are double tortilla’d to make messy eaters a little less messy. Also on the menu: gorditas, sopes, tortas, and breakfast served daily starting at 7 a.m. On weekends, soups and stews are a draw." - Faiyaz Kara

Google
Grocery store with meats and veggies and hard to find candies!!! Then there's the whole menu of authentic Mexican food which caught me completely by surprise! It is definitely worth the visit!! Can't say enough about the flavors. Service was quick and food was hot and delicious. Small unfussy place but very delicious!

Kiyoko

Google
Great experience lots of Mexican and Hispanic snacks and food! The tacos were 10/10 and so were the tamales. Would definitely come again for good prices and quality! There is a bathroom in the back as well as parking.

Brian Corder

Google
First time. Super polite man helped us through how to order and such. Such a cool little Mexican mart and restaurant. Food and prices were great!

Bryce Wangerin

Google
Great place for a quick bite after leaving the airport. The guacamole was delicious and fresh. The birria tacos are on point. They definitely will not disappoint!

Sharad Raj

Google
Amazing street tacos and their Horchata was on point!! The grocery store side has a lot of good variety of pastries too. Definitely worth stopping by if you're looking for authentic taste

Jo

Google
What a hidden gem! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. They have breakfast and lunch specials, very affordable and the menu’s pricing overall is fair. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

Mario Toro

Google
Food was delicious. Great prices and very good service. I'm glad I tried this place and I'm definitely coming back again. They have Taco Tuesday special 2x4 and a good selection of meats.

Evan Fischer

Google
The fact that this place is next to a church is probably not a coincidence. Mexican food sent " del dio!" This place is so good! The ingredients are fresh. The tacos are made in house. The tamales are on fire, and the chips and salsa are excellent. The prices are really affordable and the more expensive items are sharable. The chimichanga is gigantic!

Yelp
I drove about 30 mins here but I wouldn't do it again. The service was friendly and the portions were great. The prices are okay too. I do like that there's a grocery store attached with Latin American products not typically found elsewhere. (I purchased tomatillos and chiles de árbol!) Large menu with plenty of options for such a small spot. 4-5 daily aguas frescas flavors and lots of paletas (ice cream popsicles) That said, the taste of the food was okay- just not as flavorful as I have had at other hole-in-the-wall places. I had their asada burrito, al pastor sope, elote con todo, guacamole con chips and a large agua Fresca de horchata! Everything seemed fresh. But I just wish there was more seasoning on it. Even after adding the salsas (which you must- for flavor).

Yelp
This is a grocery store with plenty of seating to dine in. They offer traditional service with someone coming to your table to take your order. Our waiter was very friendly, approachable & knowledgeable. They had very yummy & fresh guacamole. I ordered a couple of items, a Gordita & a tamale, & I enjoyed both thoroughly. I must admit I had no idea if the Gordita was meant to be eaten like a sandwich, but it kept falling apart so I just enjoyed it with a fork :) this spot truly offered some of the best aguas frescas I have ever had. I enjoyed the cucumber lemonade while my husband ordered the passion fruit. He enjoyed his tacos as well. Very affordable also. 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
Moving from California, we've been desperate to find a great spot for Mexican food, and I think we've found one in Las Cazuelas! Located in an unassuming convenience store-type building, I urge you to not judge a book by a cover and try this place out! They've got a million dishes that I'm looking forward to trying, but I went with the thin-sliced steak, which came with rice, beans and delicious corn tortillas. Our server was really attentive and made sure we had their awesome salsa, so I appreciated that, too. A note for those planning to try out this restaurant-- bring cash! There is a small fee for using a card (whether debit or credit), so better to save and use cash if you can. It was so exciting to find authentic Mexican food in Orlando. We'll be back!

Michelle D.

Yelp
A little storefront with a diner on the side. Great little hole in the wall! The guacamole was fresh and seasoned perfectly. The Huevos con Chorizo was delicious. Very authentic and taste. The homemade tortillas were corn and perfect; just like mama would make. The Huevos Rancheros was absolutely delicious. Everything about it was cooked to perfection. The coffee was also delicious (not pictured). Our server was very attentive and answered all of questions. Overall a great place.

Sandy P.

Yelp
Delicious and quick great taco Tuesday Quaint because seating is in the middle of an actual Mexican convenience store, authentic and delicious!

Colton R.

Yelp
The chips are really good. They have a mini bakery and a selection of candy. The service is amazing. The enchiladas are really good, the Mexican Street corn is also really good. The shrimp is also really good. The chimichanga is also good. 100% recommended.

Kheyt C.

Yelp
Sad to be rating this place so low. Decided will never go here again, especially when there are two other Mexican restaurants within the area that I know offer good quality food, therefore are delicious PLUS worth the money. However, staff did seem friendly during our brief encounter. Ordered for pick up. Looked at the photos on here ahead of time, so requested for pico de gallo to be added in my carne asada quesadilla. Was told they don't have the option to add pico inside and it does not come with anything else aside from the meat and cheese. So a side of pico was going to be $4.99. Expected a tub of pico for that price, but nope. The quesadilla was tasteless and so was the side of green sauce. Glad I had the pico and red sauce to give it some flavor. Bf had chicken enchiladas with red sauce. His feedback was: stale leftover chicken loosely wrapped in dry tortilla with red sauce poured in it and no cheese to be found. If you pay with card, they charge a 4% fee for this. I was only verbally made aware of this after I asked for an ITEMIZED receipt and AFTER I was asked to select from the tipping option. So bring cash if you wanna give this place a try.

Yelp
We haven't been to any other Mexican spot since we found this one. Tacos are always fresh and super super good! The Elotes are Customer service 10/10. Thank you

Kevin B.

Yelp
Most excellent authentic Mexican. Just call in order for takeout as it gets busy. Has a dining area that is part of the retail store and many people eat in as it is convenient.

Carlos J.

Yelp
One of my favorite places for authentic tacos! Las Cazuelas makes everything fresh and accurate. The grocery store inside is a great chance to get some items not available at Publix or Walmart while you grab your food. Easily the best authentic tacos around. Don't be afraid to try them out because of the storefront. Very friendly inside and most employees also speak English

Mercedes E.

Yelp
Las Cazuelas has become a new Tuesday tradition for us. If it's your first time and you're dining in, you can pick a table, have a seat and wait to be served. If you're ordering take out, you can order at the counter across from the entrance and then pay at the register. Tacos are 2 for $4 on Tuesday's and they're fantastic. Juicy, flavorful meat, wrapped in two tortillas and topped with cilantro and onions. Lime wedges on the side, of course. My favorite tacos are the carnitas, chorizo and nopales. They have a self-serve topping section and hot sauce on the dining tables. Their horchata and coconut agua fresca is delicious and they also have drinks you can grab directly from the fridge. 10/10 spot and I wish I had found it sooner.

Camille C.

Yelp
Hands-down the best Mexican food that I've had in all of Orlando! I highly recommend you check this place out. The portion sizes are great for the price. The food is well seasoned and comes out hot. There's multiple tables you can sit out to eat as well as they're pretty busy if you were to order takeout. They have a variety of different beverages available and there is a mini grocery store attached to the restaurant. If you are passing by this place make sure you stop in!!!!!!!

Melinda S.

Yelp
I've had this place bookmarked to try forever and I finally made it in! We stopped in to order lunch to go. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside you'll find a little dining area, the counter to order food, and a small grocery area. They even had a little produce section. The people that greeted us were very nice and gave us a menu to review. I wanted to try a few things, so we ordered a carne asada taco, quesadilla, and gordita. I also added a side of rice. While waiting for our order, we walked around the shop and grabbed some drinks. The order was ready after a short wait and the nice woman that brought it out offered mild or hot sauce so I got some mild sauce. We got home and dug in. The food was all so fresh and yummy! It seems like a more authentic style versus the Tex-mex style you find at some places. The rice was one of my favorites and everything else was delicious as well. The mild sauce was a perfect accompaniment and not too spicy for my wimpy tastebuds. The steak was not as seasoned as some places, but still good and I kind of liked that it wasn't overpowering so it let all flavors shine through and blend together. This is a great little gem and I'll definitely be back!

José A.

Yelp
Great default Mexican spot. Never been to a Mexican grocery store that made bad food. This place is no different. Consistently good food at low prices. Plus taco Tuesday special on tacos every Tuesday!!!

Alejandro M.

Yelp
Really bad service servicio asqueroso y de mala gana muy sucio y nada de sabor que lastima que quemen el Sazón mexicano de esa manera, les recomiendo el potro y mi rancho muy cerca de ahí, limpio y delicioso en estos dos lugares

John G.

Yelp
I love this place! Great authentic mexican cusine at reasonable prices. It's a hole in the wall, so don't expect fancy, but they sure do have great food and a great little market as well.

Zai S.

Yelp
Best place! I love the food and the service, staff is super friendly. I order from them every Tuesday for lunch. My favorite spot for real Mexican food!

John M.

Yelp
I love these little hole in the wall taco joints. Authentic and made with passion, I believe tacos are best from the small, nondescript places. This is a perfect example of such a place. Whatever you get on the menu oh, I am sure you will love. My son is the one who turned me on to this location, so I have been going to their new location on East Colonial Drive for a while now. I strongly recommend here.

Shawn G.

Yelp
This is such an interesting location. It's a small grocery store with a full service restaurant right in the middle of it. I've passed this place so many times and finally decided to stop in and get a Togo order. I ordered chicken taco and Al pastor taco. I wish I was blown away but they were just ok. The regular chicken taco didn't have much flavor. The Al pastor had more flavor but was dry. I loved that they gave me plenty of lime slices. That helped kick it up. There was also two hot sauces on the side. The green sauce was mild and the red was really hot. I'm not big on spicy foods but next time I'll see if I can handle the green sauce. The rice and beans were just ok too. The service was good. I was immediately greeted when I walked in and the young man was friendly. Overall I will definitely give them another try. I love chimichangas and enchiladas so I will try one of those a different time.

Alexis M.

Yelp
Best Mexican food in Orlando! Great drinks, affordable, and locally owned. Go check it out!

Clara G.

Yelp
So we're not from around here and I was searching up Mexican stores and came upon this one that also has a restaurant and gave it a try we got the Quesa birria tacos and it's consomé it was delicious we also got the caldo de birria and menudo all of it was delicious most definitely going back oh and also there agua frescas are delicious as well and they are very nice ppl

Dominique C.

Yelp
Amazing service! Stopped on our way from the airport as we had a long travel day and it was Christmas. Billy was our server and he was GREAT. 10/10!!! I live in California and it was very authentic Mexican food. A hole in the wall but worth it for a quick bite and a good meal!

Jordan O.

Yelp
Great tacos for $2 each. You cannot go wrong. That being said the nopales (cactus) taco is one of the best things I've eaten in orlando and I a normally a MEAT eater. It's just so freaking good. They also have a ton of interesting items in the grocery store to try.

Tim S.

Yelp
Sorry, but the food, service, and ambiance were all subpar. If you are looking for good Mexican cuisine you don't have to go very far to enjoy better.

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
Came 5 de Mayo ordered corn had none ask to add shrimp to our food had none when the food came our waiter said there's no beans. Won't be coming back!

Nifertiry R.

Yelp
Food authentic and delicious. I ordered because I noticed it was a small place in case there was no tables. Picked up my food and the small was so inviting that I did not wait to get to my distinction. I ate one and could not stop very well seasoned. It ws so much more then I was expecting. The horchata was good too. Fyi call ahead and order. Service was good. Definitely a gem for good tacos.

Noelia V.

Yelp
If you looking for eutectic Mexican food this is the place for you. Is very cozy place and also a mini market, averting is made from scratch is a family business so employee are very welcoming.

Stacy F.

Yelp
If you're looking for a hole in the wall place that doesn't focus on ambiance but serves up great food, you've found it. We went here with friends who suggested it and to be honest we debated going in after a quick look. We were very glad we did! They are super unassuming with a cafe and grocer sharing the same space. We were greeted and given menus right away. Drinks can be ordered or taken from the cases. Heads up that it was super cold in here! Maybe bring a sweater. The food too a bit to come out but it was delicious. The rice and beans were comes perfectly. Tacos had tons of flavor and we're good portion size. The salsa was a great add to the chips. Overall: A May be a hole in the wall, but the food is well worth it! Grab a bite and maybe some groceries you've never had!

Patty P.

Yelp
Delicious food and fantastic customer service. Love that they have beers!!! Very convenient location that offers delivery and pick up as well! Excited to order some DoorDash! Support this outstanding small, local business!

Christina L.

Yelp
Authentic Mexican food! Great prices. Everyone greeted me and were helpful. I look forward trying more items from the menu

Adam B.

Yelp
Great tacos friendly staff go get some produce after you eat Will be my new place to dine

Jessica P.

Yelp
The food was great! I love their tacos and green sauce and it's really affordable. They also kind of like a market with mexican and central american, you can buy snacks and drinks you haven't seen before in a while. They also sell ice cream, which is tasty and homemade. I definitely recommend!!

Bobbi S.

Yelp
We have family living within two blocks of Las Cazuelas who have picked up take-out here & suggested we go for dinner. What a great find! Food is freshly cooked to order in-house, including, I believe, the nacho chips, tortillas (SO fresh tasting!), tacos, & all that goes into making these dishes delicious, amazingly moderately priced & well worth the wait. Las Cazuelas is small, simple, clean, has a deli area, bakery, snack & fruits & vegetables area since it doubles as a grocery/tienda. All staff were wearing masks (although no people eating here were, other than us), everyone is super friendly, portions are huge & perfectly-cooked. We are told that the lunch crowd, nearly all Hispanic workers/laborers from nearby, fills up the space, &, although almost every table was filled on the Saturday evening that we were there, service was not slow. By the way, the bakery items, pastries, breads, sweet rolls, etc. look & taste amazing & are very easy on the wallet.

Bianca T.

Yelp
Place is freaking awesome !! Literally a hole in the wall! The food was awesome it's a Mexican grocery store that has seats in the middle. The tacos are delicious with fresh meat cilantro and onions. The service was quick and friendly I will defiantly be stopping by more often.

Michelle M.

Yelp
This tiny little food market unexpectedly serves up some great authentic food! I tried the al pastor tacos which were fresh, flavorful, and filled up nicely unlike some other taco places that skimp on the portion sizes. It took a little wait for the food but I was in no rush and it was worth it.

Rebekah C.

Yelp
Did somebody say Taco Tuesday???? Honestly I am a major advocate for tacos EVERYDAY, but since everyone else has embraced the alliterative celebration of the world's perfect food let's talk about the deal you can get here at Las Cazuelas! Two tacos for $3 on Tuesdays. Yes, that's right. THREE DOLLARS. And these aren't some shrimpy tacos, Las Cazuelas PACKS their tortillas with goodness! I always order more than I can eat, but I just don't want to miss out on the deliciousness! My favorite tacos are the lengua (beef tongue) and unfortunately they are not included in the taco Tuesday deal but still worth getting because the prices here are very affordable. You can dine in or take your tacos to go, the seating is somewhat limited but clean and comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Their sauces are out of this world! You can grab a drink from the grocery or I recommend trying one of their agua frescas (my favorite is the pineapple!) I've also enjoyed their chilaquiles on another visit so if you're not in the mood for tacos (how dare you?!) you can rest assured the rest of their menu is also prepared with care.

Robbie G.

Yelp
We went here for the first time ever at a friend's suggestion when we met them for dinner. I've driven past it many times going to said friend's house, but never stopped in. In what appears to be an old convenience store, you could easily miss it as you're driving past unless you're looking for it. This is a combination Mexican tienda and restaurant. When you walk in, it's cramped and small, and the shelves and floors are stuffed with merchandise. There are about a half-dozen tables squished in together buy a small bar, which abuts the kitchen. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and traditional Mexican fare is all you'll find. You get complimentary chips and salsa when you're seated, and if you don't care for any of the drinks on the menu, you're welcome to pick one from the tienda cooler to complement your meal. Collectively, we tried a chimichanga and several tacos. The food was all quite good and ridiculously cheap. As far as bargains go, you can't beat the prices here for the tastiness of the food. The only real downside of this location is the service. All the food came out correct, but wait staff were incredibly slow to respond or check on the table, and after getting our food we practically didn't see her again until the checks were brought out. location also seems like it could have been a little bit better on the cleanliness side, but this looks like it's a building has been around for a really long time, so it could just be age. All in all, not a terrible experience, and I would recommend trying it out if you like authentic Mexican food. (Or at least as authentic as a gringo like me can understand something to be!) I would certainly go back and give them another go.

Joseph R.

Yelp
Love this place !! Food and natural fruit drinks !! Authentic Mexican food not Taco Bell lol

Saerah G.

Yelp
Honestly, they have the best horchata in town. Their taco salads are great (i liked barbacoa over carnitas). Their elote is pretty good. Their fish is good too. Great portion sizes. Wish they add more rice but overall 5/5.

Jenie D.

Yelp
Next best thing to my moms home cooked food. Reasonable prices and large portions. Really authentic, come here if you want the real stuff!

Clark F.

Yelp
I am reluctant to write a 5 Star review because then the secret will be out. But the people here are so nice and they have a great little business, I just had to do it. It is a small restaurant and Latin Market. It is hard to describe, but just go there. They have a Taco Tuesday Special you need to try. You will not be disappointed.

Janet G.

Yelp
Our neighbor is Mexican and declared their food authentic. We had Al Pastor, Fish, Beef, Barbacoa, and Cactus Tacos, Alotes (Mexican Street Corn they serve in a cup), and Pork Tamales. They also make their own ice cream bars. We had Pistachio and Vanilla with Raisins, they were so tasty!

Melissa N.

Yelp
Las Cazuelas is a new Mexican restaurant & grocery store. It seems like they are still figuring things out. Nevertheless, my experience was fantastic. My lunch was excellent: warm corn tortillas swaddle juicy flavorful shredded chicken topped with just the right amount of cilantro and onions. I daubed them with a mildly spicy Salsa Verde and added a plentiful side of rice and beans. Plus, service was great! I enjoyed everything.

Iam K.

Yelp
Amazing Mexican food tucked in with a grocery store. Affordable, delicious food!!! The sopes and the tamale was bomb.com. If you love spice, try the red sauce for fire; the green sauce for a kick. The fresh squeezed juice is a MUST, especially the pineapple. I definitely am looking to come back!

Patricia S.

Yelp
Las Cazuelas is a small store that sells groceries and serves prepared authentic Mexican food. I enjoyed their food back in 2017 and have yet to order again. I've gone grocery shopping there during the pandemic crisis. If you want to shop in person and want to avoid the crowds, I recommend coming here if you need some essentials. The store is less chaotic and not crowded. If you're looking for something specific, I recommend calling. The cashier speaks English and I am satisfied with the customer service there the 2 times I went this year. Can't recall everything in the store, but hope the below helps. Produce- red/white onions, green onions, bell peppers, carrots, and limes. Dairy: cotija cheeses--not familiar with the dairy products but there is a selection next to their produce. Dry goods: jasmine rice, beans, instant coffee, split peas, canned vegetables/tomato, tortillas, powdered seasonings, hibiscus tea Cleaning/Laundry supplies: Fabuloso brand; dish soaps, cleaning sprays. Not familiar with the brands except Fabuloso I recommend checking the expiration dates before purchasing as well.

Darwin G.

Yelp
For $2 a taco, this is some of the best price to portion to quality ratio for authentic Mexican tacos. Tried almost all the meats on the menu and they are recommended. Tacos comes with double corn tortilla and are packed full with filling. Usually these style tacos are 2-3 bite tacos and having a handful is no task. These are easily 4+ bite tacos and you will get filled on 3. The highlight are the tamales with meat and cheese. Rich corn flavor, soft and crumbly. Fantastic home style version of the dish. No elotes if any online menu might say.

Matt T.

Yelp
You want authentic Mexican?? Go! It's a tiny little Mexican grocery store, that has tables and serves up some awesomeness! English can be hit or miss but the menu is in English. Taco Tuesday is where it's at but all very good flavors and service is good. The hard part is that the place is very small and sometimes have to wait for tables. Get the horchata and make your food spicy! It washes down perfect lol!

Luis M.

Yelp
Looking for authentic Mexican food? Than this is the place. Very good food. Always fresh and flavorful. On Tuesday they have taco Tuesday specials. El Pastor is my favorite. You will not be disappointed.

E B.

Yelp
Gracias hermanos! Man originally from Miami lived in California and drive down to Florida often from North Carolina now. Everyone in #Las Cazuelas -Tienda Mexicana & Restaurant is amazing; quality is . If you want authentic Mexican food, look no further trust me.

Juliana P.

Yelp
It's cheap for reason! My family and all tried different plates and they have no flavor. Service was not welcoming. I wish I could give them zero stars. Not worth your money
