The Miami Pastelito Power Rankings - Miami - The Infatuation
"When it comes to pastelitos, the inside matters just as much as the outside. The ones from Las Delicias have an even bake, guava filling that slightly peaks out of the sides, and a pillowy puff with a respectable rise. But the guava is just a bit too sweet and the pastry has no exterior glaze. Still, it’s a pastelito that’ll get the job done for when you need an 8am sugar high to go with your caffeine high." - mariana trabanino, virginia otazo, ryan pfeffer
The 13 Best Restaurants For Chisme Lovers - Miami - The Infatuation
"Las Delicias is a Cuban Bakery in Hialeah that’s an early morning ritual for local commuters. The bakery is open from 5:30am to 8pm and works great for getting a quick buttered tostada with a cortadito. They also have bigger breakfast options if an egg sandwich on cuban bread is what you need to get through the day. Even before the sun rises, this place is generally full of regulars waiting for their colada fix, loaf of cuban bread, and opportunity to vent about intimate details of their personal lives to the staff. It’s a great breakfast to-go, and if you become a regular, you can look forward to some top-notch Hialeah chisme." - julia malave, ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino

I made the mistake of ordering from this bakery today. I’m sorry but their pan con bistec tasted like a (chanqleta)was days old and over cooked I paid $28 for a pan con bistec & orange juice. At least make an effort to make a decent meal. Won’t be ordering again, this was their first impression & I'm not impressed. Quite the opposite.

Prices aren’t current on the screen. Price for steak sandwich says 5.99 but actually cost 6.99 and $1 for lettuce and another dollar for tomato. $9 for a steak sandwich that cost $6.99 every where else with everything already on it. $14 for a steak sandwich and 2 sodas what a rip off

Yelp
I found this place while one day early in the am seeking for a place with some cafe con leche. It was 5:30am & it was OPEN!
Just went in for a quick grab & found it delicious
I heard the person in front of me ask for a house croqueta so i gave it a shot. Even thou it was a little cold I did enjoy its flavor. It was a nice hefty croqueta which 1 was just right. I ordered a Cuban toastada w butter. Can't really mess up a Cuban bread piece smothered with just right amount of melted butter & a cafe con leche made to order. Not sweet lite on coffee & warm. Everything was DELICOUS. Will be back for sure

Yelp
This is the second and last time I order uber from this restaurant. First time around they messed up my order plus the food was cold, I had to inconvenience my self and drive to the restaurant to fix my order.
Second time my order was incorrect AGAIN, I drove to the restaurant and instead of apologizing for the mistake & my inconvenience they blamed the 80 year old Uber driver for bringing me the wrong order. Once I got home and opened my pastelito box I was horrified by the dryness and old guava inside. I will (NEVER) order from them again. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Place is decent doesn't have great customer service only good pastelito is the coconut one. Last time i went one of the staff members which has attended me before grabbed my pastries with her bare hands pretty gross. And that particular staff member is always on the phone and others aren't very attentive

Yelp
Las Delicias prepares phenomenal pastries and sandwiches; while inside seating is limited, all the pastries and cakes that they provide are wonderful. They also offer pressed sandwiches and assorted breakfast and lunch offerings. A knowledge of Spanish will help in ordering, but even if you have to point and wave, it will be so worth it you will wonder why it took so long to find this spot!
