Amazing authentic Mexican cuisine. The food was prepared quickly but with care. The presentation was great and the taste even better. The staff was friendly and attentive. Taking time to make sure the meal was served correctly and keeping the drinks full. It boasts a small and cozy dining area with a mix of booths and tables. They offer free chips, salsa and guacamole upon being seated. Everything looks homemade. The portions are plentiful and leave you satisfied. I would highly recommend giving this place a try if you already haven’t. Two thumbs up for sure!

Another authentic Mexican cuisine spot. Warm welcome upon entering. If you decide to dine in, just sit anywhere you want and you’ll be attended to. The chicken corn tortilla soup is very very good! Nice and thick with wonderful flavor. Your provider with chips and salsa on the table. The salsa was very good. Stayed on the trip and did not runoff. 😉 The chorizo and scrambled eggs were light and came with corn tortillas and rice and beans. I recommend requesting for some picante ‘pepper sauce’ (that’s what I call it). So flavorful and a great additive to my meal. I was given some to take home 🙏🏾🙂 This restaurant is such a convenient and easy place to get to. Thank you Las Frida’s!

We’d go back just for the ceviche - excellent! Queso was interesting. Service was great and friendly. Constant noise coming from the open kitchen along with terrible acoustics made the dine-in experience interesting. I’ll update my review after my next visit.

Beautiful restuarant! My first experience and the food was incredible. The smell of the grilling will suck you in door. Authenticity cooked and fast but hot and fresh. I had the loaded fries, chicken fajitas and companion had chicken enchiladas entree. Fries were enough for four. Fajitas came with four tortillas but could feed six! Wait staff very friendly and kind. I had unsweetened ice tea I was able to bring home along with caramel filled churros. Came with a dipping cream I never had before. Delicious!! Usual sides of mexican rice, guacamole, lettuce, chopped tomatoes, cheese, sour cream and salsa Verde. Though the fajitas came with sauteed green peppers and onions, one sliver of red pepper was mixed in and I would have loved more....but this was an excellent experience for early Friday dinner and place filled up quickly and take out was fiercely gaining momentum. Adored my dinner with plenty leftover to bring home!!! Most definitely a favorite to return. Thank you!

Food was very bland no flavor. Dissatisfaction across the board in food category. Mexican you want some flavor only seasoning we got on our tacos was from the sauces which barely tasted like anything. The spicy sauce was good. Spent $50 for me and my wife and never again. I do not recommend. Friendly staff

Yum, yum, yum!! Had a yearning for authentic Mexican food and gave Las Fridas a try for the first time and they did not disappoint!! We ordered loaded nachos, chicken enchiladas with green sauce and chile rellenos. The nachos were supreme! House made chips loaded with queso, beans, pico, jalapeños and guacamole. The chips were thick and crispy and held up well considering we didn't eat them for a 30 minutes, as we had the food delivered. Huge portions that allowed for sharing and leftovers for the next day, which is always a plus. The four enchiladas were delicious with moist shredded chicken and tasty sauce. The chile rellenos were tasty, the type of cheese used was a bit thick/stretchy rather oozing/melty but it worked well. Both entrees came with a side of rice and refried beans, which were also very good. Bottom line: This place is a keeper. Would definitely recommend.

First time at Las Fridas Mexican Kitchen on Limekiln Pike, Maple Glen, about 30 minutes from home. In a small commercial strip, it has a dining room with about ten tables and impressions of Frida Callou on the walls and menu. Otherwise the booths and fittings are utilitarian. Service was friendly and patient as we took a long look at the large menu. I went with Esquites (street corn) - a bowl of fresh corn just off the cob with delicious spices and a large dollop of crema to mix together, and Chili Relleno (poblano pepper, roasted and stuffed with Oaxaca Cheese & covered in a red sauce. Also tender and tasty. My son ordered Elote (street corn on the cob covered in spices) and Frita's Torta (huge sandwich on home baked roll, pork Al pastor, Oaxaca cheese, pickled jalapeño, Chipotle mayo, lettuce & tomato). That sammy was amazing to behold; oversized and loaded. Delicious. Everything else was also notable , especially the street corn appetizers. The Relleno was good, but not best of breed. Looking for a reliable Mexican meal in Montco, you could do worse than Las Fridas.

This is our go to place for the most delicious mexican food! It is so flavorful and fresh! We are always greeted with a big smile and receive the best service! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Okay so for food and drinks: Horchata 9/10 Mexican Chimichanga 8.5/10 Chips and Guac 10/10 The food was incredible here. The sauces and guac were so fresh and flavorful. I heard the mole and flan are not so great though but the food I had was EXCELLENT and the server was SO nice!

Had excellent lunch! It was summer time. There were lots of folks sitting outside at the patio of the restaurant. We sat inside. The server was very helpful and attentive. She was able to customize the shrimp quesadillas( cheese, onions, shrimp and peppers )and gave salsas on the side. The other dish we tried was the huevos divorciados. It had two corn tortillas and sunny side up eggs on top. Each tortilla had a different sauce; so each bite had a different flavor. Rice and beans added an extra layer of goodness. For dessert, had treche leches. Was good, would have liked the cake more soaked in milk

Delicious. Was quickly served after ordering. So much flavor in just 2 tacos. Very filling. Love the salsas. Yum!

We did take out and the food was good - and the portion sizes were big in my opinion. Can't tell you what the ambiance or service is like as I have only done takeout - but they are quick and the food is good.

This Las Fridas review I write in a rush, but it does not hesitate to praise the quality of this place. I wanted to get a bite and I immediately was offered a table rather than a sandwich on the go. My order was taken. The staff is phenomenal.I sat in a very comfortable booth. The chips were hot and prepared well with a layered, sensational, mild salsa. The torta was epic with a soft, well ,toasted fresh bread surround the combination of beef tongue and toppings. It is clear they dance in that kitchen. The tongue was so good and so soft and savory. I plan to return to capture the essence of a delicious enchilada. Worth it.

Bland food - nothing had flavor with the exception of the chips and salsa. Ordered the shrimp quesadilla and it was mozzarella cheese which was barely melted and tiny cut up pieces of shrimp. Had zero taste/seasoning or flavor of any kind! My husband had tacos and a chile realano- he said they were okay. Better off going to Pancheros or bubbakoos. Sad there isn't an authentic Mexican restaurant around!

Used Las Fridas to cater a small get together and it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and everyone raved about it. Ceviche was off the charts. Will definitely go back. Truly a hidden gem.

The service was good. Food authentic. Not the best I've had but still decent. But we ordered an horchata drink and it was pretty awful. No cinnamon. What?? Not sure if this was a mistake or their usual fare. Also lots of greasy smoke in the air. Maybe they were having venting issues that night? So, okay. But wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again.

Best-tasting (ribeye steak) fajitas I've ever had! The meat was grilled perfectly, and the flavors were nicely blended.

My family and I wanted to try somewhere different and I'm glad we did! Walking in I was a little weary because they don't have a great table setup, but they made up for it in the service and food! I had the Enchilada Trio special with a side of a Tamale. Not sure how authentic it was, but it certainly tasted very good. So good in fact that I forgot to take pictures. If you're looking for a Mexican place to try, I'd say give this restaurant a shot. They also seem to do a lot of takeout.

So it's been a year since this place opened and as promised, I have tried it a few more times. Food is great and the service is so much better. There is a younger male server who has been there the last few times I have dined and he is very helpful and always pleasant. The owner will also help when things get busy which is nice to see. I have become a huge fan of the chori pollo burrito bowl. Amazing flavors in a big bowl. It's amazingly good.

Been eying this place every time I get Chinese next door. Finally stopped in today. Chicken quesadilla is DELICIOUS!! Well stuffed with chicken peppers and onions, and not a soggy tortilla. Yummy . Ordered a side of rice too which was quickly devoured, good flavor. Service a wee bit slow with respect to filling my drink but the waitresses were hustling. Free chips to boot which are salty and good. Will definitely come back.

I was very disappointed by the food. I ordered a tamal the cornmeal was dry, even though it was drowned in tasteless red sauce. I think it was frozen and then microwaved. I didn't eat it. Also ordered a trio of tacos. The same - tasteless meat that was obviously frozen and microwaved. Will not go back.

This is our first visit to this restaurant. Our waitress was very pleasant. Chips and salsa were provided upon arrival. Once our food was order. The wait time was not too long. Our food was authentic, fresh and temperature hot. Small side of hot and mild salsa provided. We enjoyed our meals. Highly recommend this restaurant. We visited this restaurant on a Friday at 1130am for lunch.

Amazingly fresh and delicious authentic Mexican food which was exactly what I was looking for since moving to Pennsylvania. The service was really great too. Super fast and friendly. I got a taco flight of 3 tacos, Supreme tacos with the lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes. I went with carnitas, steak, suadero. The suadero was my favorite followed by the carnitas. Then the steak. The mystery kids had kids quesadilla. My husband went with the taco flight as well but he got chicken instead of suadero and he loved all of them. The chips and salsa were a nice touch. Very tasty. Really good food and amazing service. Highly recommend.

Authentic Mexican restaurant with fair prices, substantial portions, and an extensive menu. My tinga sope would almost have been enough for a light lunch on its own, but not knowing this, I'd also ordered the veg and shrimp tacos. The sope was one of the better I've had outside of Mexico, but the tacos were less impressive (especially the veg, which was onion-heavy). Still, though, I enjoyed my meal and would definitely return to try more of the variety on offer.

The food here is just amazing. We had the Birria, which is very hard to find in this area and it was delicious. Also portion sizes are great. Also to note as it's not on their website but on their menu it is BYOB.

Don't even second-guess coming here! My fiancé and I have been here twice and absolutely loved it both times. The food and the service is absolutely wonderful. I love their Birria tacos, but they are Carnitas tacos are also good. I have never had tacos so good. Their chorizo queso dip is also delicious! Also, don't forgot to try the tres leches cake, you won't regret it.

I'm from Mexico City, we eat out on the street quite a bit. Our food is what you Americans call home cooked and from scratch . Yes, on the street as in vendors, it's some of the best food . Fridas is this. Fresh, delicious food.

First time but will definitely be back. Excellent service, food arrived hot, was tasty, and generous portions. Even complimentary margaritas were great.

Stopped here on a long car ride. My 15 year old is upset that he will most likely never get a chance to eat here again. I had a mix of street tacos which were all delish. The aforementioned 15 year old had enchiladas and he raved about all them. My husband churi pollo bowl and his bowl was cleaned first. We were met at the door with a friendly greeting. We had a slight wait (less than 10 minutes while a table turned over. Our server was very helpful with narrowing our options and provided prompt service. I wish this place was local to us as we were all drooling over the breakfast menu. Perhaps it will be worth the effort to time the ride home so we can compare it to our super yummy dinner!

The food and service is great. I am there at least once a week for takeout, soon I will dine in. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is a new local Mexican joint that popped up in my hometown. Love the food here and the location! Parking is easy since it's in a plaza. There are plenty of seatings on the inside so it is good for groups. The food is pretty good; they give you warm chips to start and your choice of whatever food you order. I got the burrito; very balanced in its filling. Just the right amount of meat to rice to all other toppings ratio so that each bite gives you maximum taste. I personally like the sauce on the side so I can control how much I get on each bite; I also recommend sauce on the side so that you can use it as a dipping sauce for the chips. The staff moves quickly but being there's only (what seemed like) one server, the delivery is a bit slow but understandable. Check it out if you're in the mood for Mexican/Spanish food!

The food is decent. Prices are more than reasonable and actually pretty good for eating inside as well. A few times the chicken has been dry. The platters I believe are a very good deal. There is ample parking, which is a definite plus.

Outstanding food! I am always a bit hesitant at first with new (new to me) restaurants as I am not sure they can always meet my picky standards. I am happy to report Las Fridas in Maple Glen met and exceeded my expectations!

I came here with my boyfriend for lunch. He had previously come here with his mom for dinner and loved it. They brought me tres leches cake and it was tasty. Food seems authentic and has a wide selection. The food we ordered was delicious. My boyfriend loved his breakfast burrito. My food was okay. Nothing too special. The chips and salsa we got before our meal could have been better. Chips don't seem fresh and the salsa needs more flavor. My boyfriend's coffee has good flavor, but was weak. The place was not busy when we came. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a good experience. I would come back to try dinner time and other foods, especially tacos.

Very clean and nice new restaurant in the Maple Glen area. Very fast service and friendly staff. Food looked very good, although lacked some basic seasoning such as salt. The fresh guacamole was blend and needed a lot of salt and cilantro. The Birria tacos looked and smelled delicious, but were slightly on the cold side (not sure if they were just sitting on the counter while other food was being prepared) and the consommé was bland and watery. Overall, it looks like it will be a nice new spot for many people. I will give it another try sometime.

After coming back from a recent trip to California, I've been on the hunt for some good street tacos and street corn. As luck would have it, I stumbled upon Las Fridas Mexican Kitchen and could not have been any more delighted. The restaurant was super clean, spacious and has clear views of the kitchen. The wait staff was on their game and very friendly. However, the food stole the show, as it should. I got the carne asada street tacos, esquites (street corn), chips and pico and churros for dessert. The food was delicious, served hot, full of flavor and reasonably priced. It was all prepared fresh. It was not sitting around all day. I cannot recommend this place enough. This will now be my regular haunt for when I'm craving tacos!!

Continuing my wing tour at a new spot in town at Las Fridas of Doylestown. Honey chipotle lime was the name of the game. Flavors busting with every bite. I enjoyed the grilled marks and flavors from the sauced wings also had the street tacos asada and Carne. This is a BYOB spot also on weekends comes with complementary margaritas This is a tasty spot with great authentic flavors. I'd recommend giving them a try.

Hit this relatively new spot in maple Glen yesterday. As soon as we walked in we knew it was the real deal. Small place but big flavors. Service was great and the place was clean. Wife ordered the shrimp tacos and loved them. We had some cheese and pork tamales which were killer. My daughter had the lamb tacos and they were some of the best lamb I've ever eaten. You can taste the slow roasting and time it took to prepare. It's a must try . The enchiladas were equally as good . Definitely can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Just ate here and it was amazing - street tacos (pork and birria) were excellent - soft meat, tastes like they were marinated and slow cooked for hours. Nachos with chorizo were tasty and fresh - chips were out of this world Chimichanga was also excellent And service was great! Highly recommend, one of the best restaurants in the area.

Food was incredible, and everyone was so nice! We had birria sopes, a ground beef burrito, esquites, chips with salsa, a pineapple Jarritos soda, and a large Jamaica (agua fresca). The meat (birria and beef) was tender, juicy, and flavorful in both dishes. The homemade sopes were perfectly fried, chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The esquites was a great off-the-cob version of elote and was bursting with flavor. The homemade tortilla chips were warm and fresh and awesome, and the salsa was smooth and great, not overly spicy or oniony. This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant in the entire area. So happy to share the news of our great experience with everyone! Please try this place out. You will not be disappointed!!!

Came in here for late lunch today and was excited since being relatively new. The place is on the smaller side when it comes to space. Service was fast, attentive and kind. Chips and salsa came out first, chips were good homemade but salsa lacked flavor. We ordered the various street tacos: steak, chicken, Al pastor, birrias and carnitas and then a chimichanga with rice and beans. Food came out in a decent time, presentation was nice but the flavor was not there. They were also on the dry side as well, it was pretty disappointing. Each taco came with a lime that could have been a flavor enhancer but even the limes were dry when squeezed there was barely a drip. We asked for hot and mild sauce and the sauce had no heat to it. I couldn't have made these tacos taste any better with condiments. The chimichanga was okay, it was hot but I've had better and this one had more beans as a filler than I would have liked. I was looking forward to a New Mexican spot but this fell below a lot of benchmarks.

Greeted warmly when entering. Ordered the chicken street tacos with rice and enjoyed the meal. Quite a few take away orders being picked up while I was there. Pleasant staff, good food and nice environment.

I'm kind of obsessed with these shrimp tacos. I find myself ordering them about once a week. Comes with a choice of side: rice, beans, French fries or a salad but I put a note requesting chips instead and they were accommodated my request! The guac is very lime-y but it's good. Keeps it green longer!

First time visiting the restaurant located at Maple Glen area. Too many good options in the menu. We had tamales pork and chicken, tostadas al pastor, tostadas carnitas, street tacos and churros. Everything was excellent. Authentic Mexican food. Service was great as well. Highly recommend.
