Fun food and beautiful place! So huge...both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is very spacious and beautiful and at night there are blue lights and yellow lights all around. It's very pretty. The inside is very spacious also and you can find a nice table to enjoy a romantic lunch or dinner. I will see the ambience. Here is the best, and given that many places in Chicago are not that big, this would be a great place for family, dinners, and parties with work people. The food was fresh and good. The taco bowl with avocado had a whole avocado in there plus Fried beans and salad and cheese and tomato pits and cilantro and sour cream. The pork enchiladas were very good also with sour cream and had a side of rice and refried beans with salad or lettuce pieces and tomato bits. The only part I didn't like about it was that it was a pasty sauce The enchiladas didn't taste as good as the salsa that we got chips when you sit down and it's free. The second bowl of chips with salsa is three dollars extra though. Overall nice experience so enjoy coming here in the heart of Lincoln park. The food comes out fast and they also have fried ice cream!

Great Mexican spot, especially in the summer when you can sit in the outside area. Ground beef tacos, chicken tacos, and margarita pitcher were all great!

I passed this place and thought to myself "that I have to try them out!!" Checked out the menu online and it sounded heavenly! They have been around for 41 years and have a few locations in the suburbs. They have a beautiful space! I think it could seat about 150 people. They also have a patio that's probably popping in the summertime. We had guacamole and steak quesadillas for our appetizer. Both were delicious! They have the most tender steak I have ever had at any Mexican restaurant! The steak was very fresh and extremely tender. My mom and I both ordered steak enchiladas with Mole sauce which was amazing as well. My kids had steak nachos and rice for their meal. Everything was delicious! I also tried their Passion Fruit margarita was was delicious and packed a punch! I tried their Pina Colada and it wasn't great. The mix tasted artificial. Skip that and try their passion fruit margarita. We also had fried ice cream and churros which were also stellar! Our waiter Benjamin was great too. Great service and great food!! I highly recommend them!!!

Interesting spot on Halsted. I was pretty excited to come here, but I would say that I was kind of underwhelmed. He ordered a picture of regular and a pitcher of frozen margaritas. The frozen margaritas were not very good at all. The ice melted, extremely fast, and it was oddly very foamy. The regular picture was fine, but nothing to call home about. I ordered the Carne Asada quesadilla and wasn't very impressed. There wasn't that much cheese and the Carne Asada seemed a little over cooked. In addition, we waited almost 30 minutes to have someone come give us the check and for us to pay, which was pretty frustrating.

very pricey. 2 plus people with drinks is easily over $100. Service was quick but it was also a Tuesday.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Lincoln park! The burritos are the size of your head and the patio has a nice ambiance when the weather is nice enough to sit outside.

Waited 2.5 hours for our food, was told there were no chips after continuously seeing other people get served chips, were not told what we were being served, told our food was coming out "in ten minutes" for 1.5 hours, were told we'd be compensated with free beverages and never received them, tried to reason with staff and they gaslighted us trying to tell us we got here an hour late, had a horrible time trying to come to an agreement with the manager, and finally left almost 3 hours later rather hungry, with no chips, no drink compensation and not even an apology. Didn't even receive money off of the bill when we should have gotten at least a 50% refund. If I could give negative stars I would. If you're coming with a large party, MAKE A DIFFERENT RESERVATION, YOU DO NOT WANT TO EAT HERE

Celebrated my husband's 70th birthday at Las Fuentes last night with family. Food and drink were delicious. Service was impeccable. Looking forward to hosting more celebrations there.

Manager/Owner is extremely rude. Food is just okay, nothing special. Put a large drunk group in main dining room and allowed them to walk around disturbing other diners and kept serving them. When I was leaving I went to speak to the manager and was told that those are regulars and he'd rather keep their business.

Normally get tacos to go here. Decided to randomly go here on a Tuesday afternoon. We noticed everything was different starting with the parking lot it was turned into a outdoor patio. Nonetheless we proceeded. We looked at the menu we were looking to get tacos but being $5-$6ea we decided to share some chicken nachos. The nachos were okay but I'm not sure why it was only 9 chips you need more. But overall it was good. The overall dish lacked flavor we needed salt the chicken was extremely bland. The waitress was very nice and polite. Great at explaining things. Overall, I recommend because the food was decent. I probably won't return I don't need fancy tacos or the cost of fancy tacos. I can go to Pilsen or Little Village and get great quality tacos without breaking the bank.

We did have a huge party but the service was terrible, waited 3 hours for minimal average food, no chips for the guacamole, they said they ran out and were cooking more, and when one serving came for 10+ people they were stale and store bought. Never received water and service was horrible. I get it was a large party but come on. Be better

My friend and I did not have a good experience at this restaurant. We tried to order drinks then they proceed to say our IDs were fake (we are both 22) because we are both from Ohio and they do not accept out of state IDs. It was very strange to me that a restaurant in a city as big as Chicago wouldn't accept out of state IDs. After pleading with our server and telling him to just go scan our IDs we finally got our drinks which I will say were good and strong. The food we ordered was not very good except for the guacamole. Their chips were not my favorite but that could just be personal preference. We ordered the queso (which was not what we excepted and very greasy, veggie tacos, and quesadilla. This place was WAY over priced with mediocre service and our table was dirty and sticky when we sat down. Overall I wouldn't recommend spending your money here.

Parking available down side streets. Called ahead for reservations. No issues. Extremely spacious inside. Beef Tostaditas de Tinga. Great appetizer, serves up to 4. It's basically a massive nacho chip with all the toppings neatly placed. Veggie enchiladas. I asked for both roja (red) and mole (brown) sauce. The mole sauce would a little sweeter than expected, would have preferred straight roja sauce. Shrimp tacos were average sized, shrimp sizes were small, but plentiful. Both entrees were average at best. Cute surprise. We were treated to tequilas shots at the end.

Just okay. I enjoyed the guava margarita, and the salsa and chips were good, though served in a small bag instead of a basket. I liked that the salsa came in individual little cups and we got extra when asked. It said online more chips and salsa was an extra charge, but we got lucky and it didn't get added onto the bill. I got the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce, and it was a lot sweeter than I expected, but still decent. However, it wasn't anything mind blowing and I thought overpriced for what you get. My friends got the burrito suizos, one chicken and one steak, the steak quesadilla, and quac and chips. The guac and chips were decent, and the guac came in a fun cabbage cup. One of the burritos still had chicken bones in it, so it wasn't made very carefully. Service was okay. It took a while for the server to bring us water when asked, and we had to remind him. We were treated to tequila shots at the end of the meal, so that was nice. I'd come back to check out the patio, but not sure if I'd get food again. As I said, none of the food was mind blowing, but I enjoyed the margaritas.

My friend and I decided to go here because we were close by after getting happy hour. Well....that was a mistake. We were given a table outside in the patio since it was a nice day out, it worked out great. We ordered drinks....they were okay. Chips and salsa were given to us when we sat down, but the chips were in a paper bag full of grease outside the bag....you know the chips have been sitting in there for a while. My plate was dirty & it took me some time to flag someone down to ask for a new plate. My friend and I shared a taco dinner plate. It was way too overpriced & the food came out at room temperature. We got one carne asada taco plate which came with 3 tacos, rice and beans....which was $19! I have never had to pay that much for a taco plate before. We also got queso fundido to share and it was just alright....wasn't worth it. My friend and I both love cheese and we don't waste any of it but we couldn't even finish this. We also noticed that once the food was ready from the kitchen, it is sitting outside at the window just waiting for the server to come and bring the food out to the table. That's pretty unsanitary, especially with some bugs flying outside as well. I will not be returning.

I hate to give a 3 star as it was not horrendous, but I leave my 3 star and lower reviews for places I wouldn't go back to. In my opinion, this place is far overpriced for what you receive. They nickel and dime their customers for everything. They presented us with only 3 very small plastic sauce containers of salsa for 5 people. I initially thought they were doing this due to COVID and just miscounted, but no. We had to pay extra for each of us to have our own. They gave us two small paper bags of chips. We paid for an additional two and there were maybe 5 chips in each bag. The menu was online which is becoming more common, but it wasn't very visually appealing. The 3 taco meals were $17. Id say this is city pricing, but other Mexican restaurants in the city weren't this high for this menu item. We all ordered a different type of taco and swapped. The food was fine, but nothing that special. We also had pitchers of margs. The fruit flavors were also all an up charge. They must have a steady enough business for their marg pitchers and don't feel they need to provide a great service to their customers. Had a good time as I was with good company, but really wouldn't return or recommend it to anyone.

I desperately wanted to like this place. The patio takes you to another world. With a 7pm reservation that I specifically ask for the patio, they turned us down since it was full but we're willing to seat us indoor. The manager upon seeing my face decided to seat us in the Patio nonetheless. Kudos to him. However the wait for the food took forever!!! Would that have made a difference if we sat inside? We got here at seven got seated shortly after that and it's now 8:19and the food is still not here. As of this writing we had the guava margarita subtle and sweet at the same time excellent. The Paloma drink is just a touch sour without being overwhelming. It's actually pairs well with a margarita because it's sweet and sour. We also had the mango margaritas not bad it's actually pretty good except at the guava it's just amazing. Unfortunately it's already 8:18 and the food is not here yet!!! For the sake of transparency I won't alter a single word on my review above. Except to give it 3 stars as opposed to 2 earlier. It's now 2:46AM. I am now not upset like several hours ago. The food finally arrived after that. We had the molcajete trio(shrimp steak chicken), mole en poblano, and flautas. They were all fine quality dishes. However by the time they came I was too upset to enjoy the experience. Part of my problem is the lack of communication of our server as to their issues on food delay. Not to mention the host in denying us the patio when that was the main reason why we went there. My only guess is that it's difficult to staff a restaurant now a day's as the "collateral damage of COVIDs effect to our country even as it is dissipating" P.s I know the early review is filled with so many errors my English teacher would be embarrassed but I wanted to post that in real time and that was my cleaned up rough draft.

Whyyyyyyy does this place have to be so bad! This place is so upsetting. They only got the 2nd star because easy location, beautiful space and nice patio but honestly a complete waste of time and money. Everything was so expensive and not even worth it type of expensive. They are charging just to charge at this point and that's sad and unfair to customers. We ordered fresh fruit margaritas and specifically asked If it was fresh fruit, where the server confessesed only the strawberry and Mango was, which we said great, we will get that. NOPE! We got super sugary fruit syrup juice back and I couldn't even handle more than a sip and returned it. The margaritas are $12 which is standard but I have had phenomenal margaritas in other locations for the same price or cheaper. We ordered the veggie nachos begrudgingly but the thought process was for $16 its got to be enough for 2 and decent tasting. AGAIN such a disappointment- they gave 9 chips, yes 9, they were soggy and the whole plate was gross- see pic. No extra chips or anything. They do give a complimentary chips and salsa in pandemic style fashion- a white bag of chips and 2 tiny plastic cups of salsa. Overall not enjoyable experience- we spent about $50 and didn't touch our drinks and ate the 9 soggy chips. They definitely need to change some things around. I know it's very expensive times and honestly don't mind spending the money but you have to give quality that matches that price!! Not asking for much else.

Service Great. Food good. We received chips and a small plastic container of salsa. Got our food. Then asked for more salsa. Salsa came in another small plastic container. We were charged $2.00 for maybe 3-4 tablespoons of salsa. We were not told we'd be charged. We paid our bill and paid the $2.00 extra. Not the waiters fault except they should have warned us. Wow. Really bummed me out. Not only is that nickel and diming. It bumped our check up which bumps the tip up. Talk to the manager. They were willing to remove it. But come on. She proceeded to tell me every Mexican restaurant is doing this. NOT. Also, all that plastic is not good for the environment. This is not the way to have repeat business. Really sad. Been visiting this place for years.

Place is really cool. As for the food I went with 3 stars. It's average. The price is pretty high. There are way too many options to go back here.

I've been here three times and it's always just been meh. The patio vibes are awesome, except it seems the staff can't be bothered to sweep or power wash the spider webs off of everything. There were literally spiders crawling from the gate onto our table and drinks. Service was fine but nothing to write home about. The menu seems to have gotten smaller and much pricier over summer 2021. Chips and salsa for the table are no longer free after the first tiny little cup of salsa! The house marg was good and I love the little cactus glasses they come in. I got a burrito and my partner got a taco plate. We both thought everything was totally flavorless. The red sauce on my burrito tasted like the water used to rinse out a can of tomato paste before recycling it. I actually brought half of my burrito home even though I was still hungry just so I could put some hot sauce on it and add flavor. I really with I could give a higher rating since this is such an important part of LP, but the quality has gone down so much while the price has drastically increased over the last couple of years. I hope they take the recent reviews to heart and make some improvements.

The patio in the back is very cute, but music would have been a nice touch. Our service was also super slow and neglectful so I had to go up to the waiter stand for our check. Other than that, our skinny margs were refreshing with the chips and salsa (spicy). The shrimp taco salad was okay too with lots of shrimp and not much veggies. Everything was pretty average.

I was desperately looking for a new Mexican restaurant to try and I found this one on a list to try so I made a reservation and we sat on the patio. The patio is massive and great to enjoy a nice sunny day in Chicago. I would not come back for the food but I decided to give this place a 3 star only because of the patio. Most restaurants give an endless supply of chips and salsa but here we got 3 very small plastic sauce containers for 6 people and if you wanted more salsa there was an extra charge. We got a pitcher of margaritas, which wasn't anything special. I felt it was quite water downed. I got the enchiladas which were quite small and were not memorable. This place is overly priced for the food quality and service quality. It took our server 40 mins to come by and ask if we wanted something to drink or even come with water. I will definitely not be coming back!

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Table was sticky, food was mediocre, service was slow, and we were charged for a second order of chips and salsa even though we didn't ask for them and they didn't explain there would be a charge. To be fair, the menu does say "first one is on us" but when it happened, we didn't have a menu in front of us and have never been to a Mexican restaurant that charged for chips after the first one. When we spoke to the manager, he was rude and so unhelpful. He said "well when I go to a restaurant I read the whole menu" Also they let customers walk through the kitchen where they're cutting vegetables which seems unsanitary to say the least

I have been to their Mortan Grove location but the Lincoln Park location is absolutely their best. Love love love their drinks like soooo good. Definitely try their especial margarita and/or skinny margarita ( the drinks were amazing at Morton Grove location as well). The food was amazing, we tried their queso, vegetarian tacos and vegetarian enchiladas. The only funny thing is how they add broccoli to enchilada ls and tacos. I personally do not like broccoli in Mexican food and have never seen at any other place as well.

Had been eating at this restaurant literally for decades. Then one day I came home for a visit and everything had changed. Go ahead and change the interior if you must. But what did you do to the food?! It is the worst! And so over priced! Shame on you! Everything seems fake. No authenticity whatsoever. They destroyed my chicken Pollo. Their soups used to be amazing. But now? That is not Mexican style by a long shot! Their nachos used to be so delicious and so abundant. Not anymore. The rice is an abomination. I guess The original owners sold it which is fine, but wish they would've not sold it out to these greedy corporate fools. Now the food is a joke. I loved this restaurant so much. Been going to it since college in the 80s. But never again will I step foot in whatever this has turned into. Save your money. So much good Mexican food all over Chicago.

The patio is incredible and so are the margs. Everything else is very average and honestly not super memorable and it's more expensive than I would expect. But, this place will always be a classic and I will never stop going! Any of the margs are great, personal favorite is the house marg or the strawberry. The sangria is also really good. Food wise: the chicken quesadilla, tacos vegetarianos and the queso fundido with chorizo are some favorites. Honestly nothing beats drinking a marg on their patio in the summer. (Only suggestion is that that add some music).

Love coming to Las Fuentes and enjoying their outdoor space. They have done a wonderful job modifying their outdoors to space out tables and still keep it fun and inviting. Masks are required, chips and salsas come packed in a to go bag, and menus are digital. Tables are cleaned regularly with one way flow of traffic. Now onto the food. Had a lot of things from here but I love the chimichanga! So good, enough said. Big portion, tender chicken, great guac, and sides of rice/beans. Tamales verdes were also excellent. Great salsa and good portion of food. I feel the margs and sangria are slightly over priced for the flavor, but you always need alcohol so they get me every time. Sangria is no good, so just pay for the beer or marg! And now you can get them to go. Great service and great atmosphere. Will continue to enjoy coming here.

I wanted to like this spot more, but with so much good Mexican food around the city it's hard to say I'll be back here. Our server was way overwhelmed, we were out of water, chips, salsa, our drinks, and every time we had to flag him down. I don't think this was our waiters fault though, I believe maybe they were understaffed? We ordered tacos and they took almost 45 minutes to come out... we think they maybe forgot about our order? The skinny margarita was good, as were the coronas. Even though we paid to dine-in, we were given chips in a half filled to-go bag and a small plastic throw-away condiment container of salsa(?). It was so strange, maybe they ran out of chip and salsa bowls? The tacos themselves were fine, we got the al pastor, carne, and pollo. Nothing to rave about, and definitely not for $17-$18 a plate for 3 tacos. Cute patio, but overall I think I'll stick to other spots when I have a craving for Mexican food.

So disappointed!!! First off, this place is way overpriced. A typical taco dinner that would cost approx $8-10 costs $20 here. So badly priced, it's unfair. The food is average at best, really nothing special. You can go to the smaller Mexican restaurants here in Chicago and get the same meal for half the price and the same quality. Don't come here for food. My friend got a drink and said it was decent. Service (the waiter) was poor. Our waiter greeted us by saying, "food or drinks?" He was very awkward. The extra star is for a nice patio, but that's about the only highlight of this place. Maybe the most overpriced place in the city for seriously average to below average eMexican cuisine. There is easy parking on Halsted if you need.

This place deserves better reviews than it gets, especially in recent months. Las Fuentes is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the Lincoln park area, for a few reasons. The interior is nothing to write home about, but the patio is beautiful with murals, a fountain, and twinkling lights. Their margaritas are good and strong, and every time I've come here we've had so much fun. The staff is so friendly and kind, every waiter we've had we've loved. As for the food, it's a bit on the pricier side, but the ingredients are so fresh and the portions are pretty large. Some options are more authentic than others, but the waiters I've had have been excellent at pointing out recommendations. The shrimp are so good, it was butterflied garlic shrimp with citrus, avocado, and rice that was so good and a special plate - ask about it if you go! Their fajitas and enchiladas suizas are very good too.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Brought a large group here for my bachelorette and it was an awful experience. The food was awful and they forgot the rice and beans, yet still made us pay for it. In addition they made us pay an additional $150 for people who did not eat or drink. When we tried to speak with the manager he was insanely rude and disrespectful. Very bad experience and will never go back.

I posted this a few days ago but it does not seem to be posted. Was bringing over a couple friends to try this place on Labor Day. I have always loved it. They were closed for a bit, but when I noticed they reopened I wanted to go back. What a disappointment! It is clearly not run or owned by the same people. We sat down and were looking forward to chips and salsa. They do not offer that anymore. We ordered guacamole and chips. They brought so few chips it was comical and they served the salsa with the guacamole in a 4 ounce to go container with the lid on it. We all wanted fajitas so we ordered fajitas and the shrimp tacos. Of mention, we never saw our server again. The tacos came and there was nothing to them but baby shrimp, no seasoning no slaw or flavor or anything. Basically, plain shrimp in the mini tortilla. The fajitas were apparently made 4 days before and came out on a plate that was 3/4's rice and beans. The steak was more like beef jerky and totally inedible. We had to flag down any person for napkins or water. THEN our bill comes with 20% gratuity added. BUT THERE WAS NO SERVICE. And all of their prices were raised beyond what is reasonable. So bummed what happened to this restaurant. Would never go back!

Okay so honestly this is a hole in the wall place!! I've struggled to find a really good Mexican resteraunt and this one definitely hit the spot. Their salsa was really good and they used alot of veggies for their enchiladas. I truly enjoyed it and will be going back! Their patio is very cutely decorated and a fun ambience.

While I was impressed with the efficiency of the hostess to seat large parties without reservations, I was sadly disappointed by the margaritas, which I came here for. The margarita mix came straight from a giant tub and it was just too potent. I felt that I needed to water it down just to tolerate drinking it and I didn't even get a buzz. The outdoor seating area is huge which makes me want to come back, but the food and drinks were pretty lame.

We made a reservation and called after we made the reservation to request outdoor seating and the person on the phone said yes. When we arrived they said we didn't have a reservation. They denied outside seating until we insisted to sit outside. They said they didn't have seating outside but when we finally got our seats there were plenty of open tables. Before we sat down the manager asked would we be fine once we were seated. He then stated that we would have a 30 minute wait for our food. When we were seated our server was nice and said it would be a 45 minute to an hour wait for our food. 2.5 hours later our food was delivered to our table. Another table who arrived after we did received their food before us and our server said it was because they called in their order. When the billed arrived, we asked for a discount and the server said he couldn't do it. He suggested we not tip him. We let him know that it wasn't about him because he was great. It was about the wait and the service from the beginning. The manager was rude and cut us off as we tried to explain from the time we walked in the door until the time we left. As we paid our billed they said they didn't accept AMX. It was not listed on the website or mentioned at any time. We had to go find the manager and have a whole discussion about the situation. We arrived 6:17 and we are leaving at 10 PM.

Beautifully decorated outdoor seating perfect for socializng but the food was terrible! Their sauces and salsas were obviously canned. The mild salsa was orange with no herbs or vegetables In it and tasted like and had the consistency of tomato soup. We had steak tacos and steak enchiladas. The steak was a bad cut of cheap meat. The beans were a very thin consistency and had no flavor. Its so annoying that they bring you chips in a paper bag. Dang it - put the dang chips in a basket or bowl and stop wasting paper bags! They brought you the salsa n tiny 'to go' plastic extra sauce containers which is only enough salsa for 3 chips. Dang it - put the dang salsa in a nice bowl like customers want it and stop using all of that plastic waste! Its a sad waste of a beautiful location. We had to pick up some Chipotle down the block to satisfy our Mexican food craving!

Came here late Saturday night and it was absolutely electric. Lots of Spanish music, lasers, a smoke machine, and sparklers all combined for a whole lot of fun. I don't even really speak any Spanish but it didn't matter. The vibes were immaculate and ideally I'll be back again soon.

Came here on a hot day for some chips, salsa, and beverages and had a pretty piss poor experience. Everything is overpriced for no reason - you do not get what you pay for and service was pretty meh. Really good looking place with a great location but the actual product they put out is pretty bad - especially for the price.

Fantastic service! We were here celebrating my friends birthday and we were treated like royalty! We were sitting outside and it started raining so we were moved inside. Then brought us a round on them and a fried ice cream for my friends birthday. Staff and manager were lovely

I feel really bad leaving a negative review since I never have before. But I do not recommend this place whatsoever. Outdoor patio is a cool spot, so the ambiance is there. Service was fine, food came quick. The guacamole, for $13, was the worst I have ever had. So bland. I think it was just mushed up avocados. Veggie fajitas were also a joke. Aren't they supposed to come out sizzling? Quesadilla was also not good. I am just annoyed because it is so expensive for food that isn't worth the price. There are a million other places, take your business elsewhere. I live a block away and will tell everyone who asks me to avoid this place and head somewhere else instead. What a joke.

COVID stuff - Beautiful outdoor seating in the back. Gets really romantic at night time with the lights, mural, and little fountain. Make reservations for sure, they do sanitize tables regularly, you're supposed to wear masks if not seated, the staff wears masks all the time, tables were kinda close to each other and the place was packed so maybe not your cup of tea if you're extra cautious. Drinks - Ask the server for margarita flavors and please get the passionfruit one. It's tart, sweet, bursting with flavor, and just plain delicious. Drink two of those and you'll be having a good time. Mango one was alright, passionfruit is better. I'm not sure about the food but appetizers are decent. They do serve chips upon seating so that was nice too. The ambiance is great, the server was attentive, maybe a little too much and if you're an online influenzaaa.. I mean influencer you'll love to get some pics in here as well.

This place is horrible! We sat at the bar at 7:00 pm, and realized there was no dedicated bartender. The bus boy brought over stale chips and salsa, I asked for mild sauce and was given sour cream(?)! When we finally got service, we ordered 2 drinks and queso fundido as an appetizer. 30 minutes later we get asked if we wanted another drink, as our empty glasses are on the edge of the bar as a signal (ex bartender here LOL), and still no queso appetizer. Then a few minutes later the server yells across the bar "your appetizer will be out, the kitchen is short, not my fault". Another 15 minutes goes by, no additional service so I ask our server to cancel our order and please bring us our check. She quickly does, and says again "not my fault, it's the kitchen". We noticed many people complaining, no manager on shift and no accountability. It was an 80 minutes of time that was nothing but a waste. As we were walking out we chatted with a couple who heard us say "okay where can we actually try and eat", they waited 1 hour 15 minutes for a taco salad and steak tacos. Oh, and as we were leaving, they were setting a table for a party of 18!! Ha good luck to that party, that is just greed. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

Food is delicious and fresh. Staff is friendly and courteous.Restaurant is clean and spacious.

Las Fuentes should have more stars! The patio is so cute. It feels like your taking a mini vacation from the city. The staff was very attentive and our waitress, Melissa helped me with choosing what to eat. Melissa also was able to quickly box up our friends dinner to-go because she had to quickly leave. I had the shrimp burrito and it was excellent. Another person ordered the steak fajitas and she thought they were fresh and delicious. The other dish ordered was the chicken mole enchiladas and he said they were holy mole good! The final dish ordered was the Al pastor tacos and she says they were great!

The food is good, very tasty. When we got the bill we noticed there was a $2 charge for a spicy 1 oz salsa. The "manager" said it's on the menu, which she was unable to find and we were not informed of a charge. It seems like a minor charge for a bill of $150. How embarrassing for this restaurant to nickel and dime your loyal customers (which was questioned because the manager "hasn't seen us before" - tell that to my credit card bill).

The only redeemable thing about this place was the free chips and salsa and the large amount of outdoor seating. Otherwise, the margaritas were disgusting, and the service was discombobulated. I do not care to come back.

Good atmosphere, the patio has cute lights, fountain, and very laid back style. The drinks are good! We had mango, strawberry, lime, passion fruit, and spicy mango margaritas. We ordered the queso fundido with chorizo, Chicken Tinga, and Steak Tinga. One item to note is please be prepared to wait for food and drinks. This restaurant has lots of seating along Wrightwood, the patio, and inside. Therefore, it can be very busy at times and the server might take a while to get to you. Amazing huge patio!!! Perfect place for a large party. Delicious ceviche! Great fresh chips and guac. Other than that food is average but atmosphere on the patio,service and ceviche are top notch.
