Stopped here after a wine tasting in the valley to try grilled quail and rabbit. We ordered a mixed plate with half of each. The place looks like it's run by a family, with the husband at the grill and the wife at the roadside cart making the plates and serving chips, salsa, and beverages. There's also a cat and little girl running around. It's a very cute setting. Loved the music too. The quail was, by far, our favorite. It was marinated perfectly and grilled just right. It reminded me a little of duck meat. The rabbit was also very good, but if you told me it was chicken, I wouldn't bat and eyelash. My only suggestion for you is to negotiate the price before you are served. We didn't do that and they stuck us with the gringo price at the end. We overpaid but were happy to do so, since this is obviously a small family business.
