Hole in the wall. Hidden Gem. Family owned or run business with people who seem to actually like their job. The food was amazing. I thought this was a chip and salsa bar where I could just stuff my face with chips. Oh well. Came up on Google and I was willing to try it. The chips are ok. The guacamole was great. The fajitas sang. They have booming Mexican music and I'm the only white person here. But they still treat you like family. Love that. I'll be back to try this place again for some late night chips most likely.

Jessica was so sweet to let me use her restroom even if I didn’t ordered any food! She insisted to not pay nor leave tip! This is a place where you want to go! Getting service while you don’t pay for any is really showing character!! Definitely will bring my family here bc of the hospitality 😍

Delicious food, comforting atmosphere and LOVELY staff. Went twice within 3 days, and wish we could have came back once more. Would highly recommend the margaritas and carne asada. The second time we went it was karaoke night and it was just an overall feel good, happy vibe. Next time we are in the area we plan on returning!

My girlfriend and I stopped by on a Tuesday night for dinner. Aside from one other party seated at the bar, the place was fairly quiet. Our server, Jess (I believe--that's the name on the receipt), was great. She brought us a basket of chips and salsa to enjoy while we waited, which was a nice touch. The food took a little while to come out, but it seemed well worth the wait. My shrimp fajitas arrived sizzling loudly on a hot stone dish--fresh and full of flavor. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp empanadas, which came as a plate of four. They looked beautifully golden, plump, and very inviting. The only downside was a faint odor inside the restaurant--almost like a urine-like smell near our table. It wasn't overpowering, but noticeable enough to mention. It could be due to the age of the building or a cleaning issue, but it might be something worth looking into for future guests' comfort. Other than that, the food and service were solid. A cozy spot for comforting Mexican fare with welcoming vibes. We'd come back!

This Place is not it The food was soggy when it was not supposed to be. I was drinking alcohol when I would need assistance.

As someone who eats and makes ceviche & aguachiles weekly, this is my favorite spot to get it from! My boyfriend and I found this place on accident years ago and have been going ever since. The chef & staff is also very friendly!! :)

We stumbled upon this spot by accident. Did they Santa Ana cruise night and we wanted tacos. I'm so happy we found it. The service is great and the food is so good ! Got a mocajete bowl and dammmmthe green chili they cooked it in is so good. Thank you we will be back!

Order thru uber, Caldo de Pescado had alot of bones. Aguachile shrimps tasted sandy. Not the best quality.

Cooks and servers are good but the owneris over her head and never let's no one give her or his opinion because she's always right and if you don't line something she will tell you to fuck off or ignore you or give you your ticket so you can leave

Just ordered from here off UberEats and whoa - what a good deal! I ordered a beef quesadilla and shrimp ceviche and the portions were absolutely massive. These two dishes could easily feed 4 people. I didn't expect the portions to be so large because the prices were the same as other restaurants. The shrimp ceviche was about $15 and came in a huge bowl topped with easily half an avocado. I've gotten ceviche from MAR Poke in 4th Street Market and their ceviche bowls are $14-$16 a bowl but their bowl is maybe a third of what this spot gave me. And the ceviche was so fresh, packed with lots of tender shrimp, and bright flavors like lime, orange and red onions. I also liked that it came with lots of juice cause then I could let the tortilla chip really scoop up all that flavor. They also included free tortilla chips and various little containers of salsa, which was quite nice.

Omg. I ordered the macho nacho to go and I did not know what to expect but holy moly cowy smoky bodily mercy! These were yuge!! More macho!!! Than nacho libre! Anyway it was a whole tin platter full. It must have weighed like 10 lbs! So 10lbs of goodness!! Also when I walked in they had karaoke going on! Looked like they had a full bar.

This is not $17 worth of ceviche. I made 1.5 tostadas out of it. The ceviche itself is not bad, not amazing but not bad. However, I will not be returning. The place is shady looking and the servers/ cashier forget that you already paid with them 15 mins ago.

You MUST try this place. I ordered through UberEats and Food was delicious and the Agua fresca Jamaica hit the spot. Portion sizes are great. Definitely we are going to order from here again.

I ordered a shrimp ceviche on door dash. First off where are the shrimp!?? $17 for a couple shrimps! This place is really good and has potential but cmon I paid 18 for some cucumber. Totally unacceptable!

This place is actually reallllllly good! Green enchiladas like Mom used to make us The michelada was fabulous!! The house salsa with the chips was so good my hubby ate it all himself He had the street tacos and enjoyed them and all the toppings Plates came with Mexican rice and beans and small salad pile (( memories!!)) If I'm ever out this way again I'd definitely stop here again!! Fabulous server he was very attentive.

The salmon tacos are where it's at. Some places just put a small piece of fish on the taco but that wasn't the case at all- generous portions of salmon! I ordered chips and salsa in addition to the tacos because seriously, is a meal complete without them? I'm a little confused on the sauces but here's my breakdown: the salmon tacos come with a chimichurri sauce, but they were unsauced when delivered. There was a green sauce on the side which tasted like a traditional green chimichurri sauce (and was delicious!). I also received a creamy red sauce which I thought *maybe* was the red variety of a chimichurri sauce? Whatever it is- it was FIRE. I don't use that word lightly, and have an inhuman spice tolerance, but I was close to having heart palpitations. If you know me, you know that means I loved it. I ended up putting that on the tacos and just sweated my way through. There was also a mango/onion/jalapeno mix which a normal person would probably put on the tacos as well, but since there was no actual salsa in the order (hence my confusion on the sauces) I ended up treating it like a salsa and eating it with chips. Anyways, great meal overall, and now that I have found a restaurant that can actually meet my desire for spice so good it (literally) hurts, I'll be a return customer for sure.

Where to begin. We found this place on yelp assumed positive intent that the four star review would hold some weight. It didn't. At all.... Most of my tacos had burnt crisps in them of what I can hope was meat and not char off the stove top. The food asada had no flavor it was bland and dry. The chicken was dry and had no flavor. The carnitas was dryer if even possible and hard. Overall the food was very bad. And the service was sub par it took 3 attempts of asking for a water refill and the water was warm and tap water. So best advice bring your own water if you even eat here. I'd personally never eat here again. If the owners read this the food quality isn't good at all your servers need to be a lot more attentive to every customers needs.

They won't honor any Restaurant.com vouchers here. Super lame. I received a Restaurant.com voucher as a x'mas present and decided to redeem it for this place. The restaurant itself is a hole in the wall, hidden in the corner of an old run down strip mall. Wifey and I roll up and sit down to eat. The first thing the owner notices is the printed out Restaurant.com voucher on the table and he immediately says they don't accept any promotions. Even after explaining that I literally redeemed, printed, and came over he still said, they won't honor it. It put a damper in the dining experience. I get that there must be some sort of miscommunication between the restaurant and Restaurant.com, but we came out of our way to use this voucher. It was only a 10 dollar off, so I just let it go. Food & Service was just okay. Wife ordered a shrimp burrito and I went with a carne asada salad. Wife said that the shrimp burrito was amaze-balls, but my carne asada salad was sub-par. The meat wasn't seasoned very well and the salad looked like it was condiments from a burger or sandwich. Portion size is fair, but the service was pretty slow considering there were 2 servers + owner and only 4 tables. Overall, I was disappointed with this restaurant. The food could have been better, the service was okay. and the management should have dealt with the voucher situation with more compassion. I probably won't be coming back here again.

Inconsistent food all around , lucky it still has a good taste , but they need to stop using the same ingredients for the al pastor adobo that they use to make the birria

Would not recommend going here. I ordered to go and ordered one taco governador and a chicken enchiladas plate. Once i got home and looked at the order i realized they gave me the wrong taco. And when i went to try the enchiladas, the chicken tasted rancid. When i woke this morning I was having severe stomach pains and definitely got food poisoning from the enchiladas. The only good part of the meal was the salsa.

Love my gueritas... the ceviche is made fresh and when ordered!!! So good! The tacos are super adorable for taco Tuesday. The manager is amazing, make sure you become her pal! Every time we go there's a band or karaoke or something fun going on as entertainment while enjoying their delicious food.

Las gueritas , this place is absolutely good place to hangout with ur love ones and the food here is freaking boom , if you guys are looking for good traditional Mexican good I would recommend this place ,you people should try this place , I will definitely come back ..,

We were looking for a spot late, we found Las Gueritas open on the way. We don't usually risk it when choosing seafood but we dared. We had octopus ceviche it was good size. The DJ is awesome. Great atmosphere. Best House Margaritas! Buenísimo Karaoke. The after spot you want to be at on Friday nights

Disappointed. Ordered some tacos and fajitas to go with chips and salsa. I asked three times for lots of salsa, even asking when she handed me the food, and was assured it was in there. What I got was two tiny containers with a huge bag of chips. Fajitas came with disgusting corn tortillas and no guacamole or sour cream or anything like that. Tacos were decent for $1. The worst part was the enormous puddle of oil the chicken fajitas were in. Definitely won't be back and don't recommend.

Food is delicious. Everything on the menu is good! Micheladas are crafted perfectly! I had the three chicken crunchy tacos with sour cream and cheese. Rocio one of the owners is an amazing singer. This is a karaoke restaurant so if you're looking to sing some chill Spanish songs you will enjoy this place. Music is nice and up beat clean. Nice place to come and unwind have a couple drinks. Come alone or with a group. You'll have a good time either way! Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Las Gueritas is a delightfully casual and festive place to watch Latin Soccer games on the many large screens, throw a kids birthday party, celebrate a Quinceañera, listen to stadium volume level Mariachi music on the PA, even hang out with vaqueros- perhaps all at the same time! I had a HH margarita that was loaded to the gills with delicious ice and lime soda with a whisper of house tequila. To start my dinner, I received a complimentary mug of shrimp stock consommé which was pretty good- it had a strong shrimp and cilantro flavor but no actual shrimp. My main course was a carne asada salad that was absent when the Italian dressing was being applied so I simply used the limes that came with it for my dressing. The salad had plenty of beef and about 1/3 of an avocado, so that was good. I think Las Gueritas is still getting their table service dialed in, but its still worth a visit. Party on "blond baby's" ;)

Ivan was such a sweet waiter. He recommended all the yummy dishes! We had their special fish which was a snapper. OH MY GOD!!! The melted cheese (fundo) and the homemade guacamole was to die for! Make sure you go on Monday's...there's live music (Noche Bohemia). The guy that sings is named Luis Edgar...he has an amazing voice!

Too bad there isn't a minus scale, my food had a piece of plastic that I almost ate, to make matters worse my friends chicken enchiladas had uncooked chicken that still showed blood on it. By far the worst place I have ever been to.

False advertisement.. I asked for dollar tacos.. waitress told me what I would like and I told her 4 asada tacos and she said ok, then came back saying we don't have them anymore and said they only have regular tacos ... they need to remove that dollar taco poster outside the entry door..

Wanted to watch some World Cup and a pervious review said they had soccer on. Shady looking strip mall almost didn't go in. Nice clean inside. Got cold beer on a hot day in a frosty mug. Heaven. Food was fantastic!!! They got sauces to make Rick Bayless jealous!! Very very good sea food restaurant. Wished I lived closer, just passing through.

Really raunchy restaurant. Their food not properly priced. It's overpriced. Service is not bad but is not great either. Food is mediocre at best. Overrated

What can i say about this restaurant awesome service, karaoke time, and specially food. Im in love with the different varieties of dishes they have there my favorite one i can recommend is the "Casuela El Golfo" which is a plate served with different types of seafood. Im impressed and happy with the service. The owner Rocio makes you feel like home. I will deffinitely be back each week as often best place i can be at everything is fresh and it makes me feel like home.

We ordered a mix of 30 Carne Asada and Al Pastor tacos including plenty of chips, salsa and guacamole. The food was not only delicious, they delivered on-time and they were friendly over the phone and in person. We ordered extras and everything was gone by the end of the evening. We'll be calling for more Taco Tuesday deliveries in the future! Thank you!

Great place for $1 tacos, mariscos and karaoke. The salsa is good and the customer service is very friendly. I guess this place turns into a dance/club situation on some days. Michelada was really good too (lots of lime). My bf likes the steak and shrimp plate. This is our new go-to spot.

Bad service. Over pricing me cause Im not Hispanic. I don't understand if they have Hispanic pride or what but as soon as I got there( I'm not Hispanic btw), they said to each other, "they don't speak Spanish" uhm hello even though I'm not Hispanic, I can still understand you..., it's 2016, what you're telling me that you don't understand English? Like hello...? everyone understands basic Spanish nowadays. I know what you're saying lol, Just cause I'm Asian doesn't mean I don't understand what you're saying . I couldnt believe this l. I'm an activist for Hispanics movements but today, really threw me off, like okay...? Te pasa, I would not recommend this to anyone .. Never again.

Went with co-workers for lunch and it was busy... so be prepared to wait. The food was delicious and the salsa was bomb. Definitely worth the wait.

Had a great time and great vibes. They supported us and gave us awesome food. I came in and felt right at home I respect and appriciate the environment so much. Rocio is an amazing Women with a huge heart and helps feed the homeless. Definitely going to come back and eat here again.

Great food, great energy, great people. The manager Rocio has a huge heart and she was full of genuine kindness not only in serving food to people, but serving positivity to people. Highly recommend if you're looking for genuine Mexican food from genuine people.
