Las Hijas de La Chilanga

I've driven by their restaurant and the smell of chicken cooking on the grill is so tantalizing! I had to try it. The chicken was excellent, it was very flavorful and tender without being overcooked. The charred smoky flavor is so amazing. Their beans are really good, and I'm not a fan of refried beans, lol. We would order from them again, even via delivery, the food was hot and delicious. This place is way better than El Pollo Loco!

Tortilla chips were kinda stale, and there was ground chicken in the chimichanga, which was disappointing. The menu is way too large - it would be better to have fewer options done exceptionally well. The pollo asado was delicious! It was smoked outside, very flavorful! The flan was better than average. They did provide very large portions! The micheladas are huge!! So if you’re looking for great beer, this is a great spot to sit back and have some drinks with friends.

When I came in I was immediately acknowledged, my order was taken and less than 10 minutes later my food arrived. The quesobirria was bursting with flavor, freshly made and served with an incredibly savory consume. This place is not to be overlooked.

Very good salsas and freshly made aguas. English is not fluent but charming servers. Very clean as it’s newly opened. Supreme burrito is a mixture of meats and it’s wonderful. A signature dish.

So delicious! Finally good Mexican food in the denver area! All the salsas are so fresh and flavorful— and there’s actually spicy options. Love this spot. The ladies working were also very nice and very fast. Unfortunately the juices weren’t very good this time of year, but that’s because we’re in denver so not count on that against them- they were made authentically.

Ordered through Uber Eats & chose Las Hijas because of the photos of their Chicken on google & great reviews. It was fantastic! This is enough food for 4-6 depending on portion size! Delicious food, first time I tried the restaurant. Hope to eat in person or pick up to go and try some more dishes in the near future. I loved that I also received four different salsas with my order! I ordered the chicken combo that comes with rice, beans, tortillas, onion, jalapeno, salsas & soda. I wish I would have ordered a juice.

The winner had to be the pambazo sandwich (in the picture) which is torta except the bread is dipped in a red salsa and cooked on the grill filled with chorizo, potatoes, cheese and sour cream. This thing was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for your fix on authentic Mexican food

Love this place! The ladies are awesome and serve the best food. I’m in here with my workers 2 sometimes 3 times a week! Great tacos!

We looked for a small (hopefully) authentic Mexican restaurant when we were down near Alameda/Morrison/Sheridan. We saw Las Hijas De La Chilanga. It was definitely authentic and delicious. The employees were friendly and efficient too. I had the birria soup and it was really yummy. Good food with a very real Mexican vibe made this a place that I would come back to.

Good food, service was good, small place but still amazing. We had the chicharrones which were amazing.

Amazing, authentic Mexican food. My boyfriend and I moved here a month ago and have been trying to find a place to be out "go to" for Mexican...we found it! What made us stop was the smell of outside grills with some delicious looking chicken cooking on it. The inside is nice, clean and spacious and very nice servers! . We had the Birria burrito and it was SO GOOD! Can't wait to go back and try something else!!

Espectacular!!!! The food is GREAT, fresh and authentic!! Every time I go I forget to take pics... the tacos, mole enchiladas and the CHICHARRÓN with guacamole is everything! Try the aguas frescas- go try these people out- you'll love it! Chill nice place to eat!

I did not like that they verbalize the overall total of the bill. I trusted and went with it. Then doing the math questioned why was the bill so high. So next visit I asked for the paper bill, and the bill was right (not higher than the first time and ordered the same) which means they add extra charges if you don't ask for the bill.

This place is absolutely AMAZING. I love their chicken and while some may argue about the price, i believe it is worth every single penny. The service is so nice, although they seem overwhelmed on the weekend, they try their best to make sure you get the best service. The place itself is very colorful and usually has very nice music playing in the background.

Quesabirrias (not pictured) were the best thing we had. The molcajete was super good and came with great portions. Chile colorado was not to my liking but I think the color was just off putting bc it was so bright. I never had it like that

Best Mexican food in Colorado!! Outstanding meat and seafood quality grilled fresh in front of the restaurant all day daily, great spice use, great salsas, delicious tortillas, great rellanos... Everything on the menu is a win - try it all. I could eat here every day.

Tasty everything, but do not skip the chicharonnes! Relaxed vibe, very authentic employees and tasty chicken dishes.

The food was really good! Especially their agua frescas! They are really good and you can taste the fruit! Made right there! The service was really kind. The ambiance is pretty, loved it, the first time I ate outside, the second time inside due to the weather! But loved it! But I will say that after paying we noticed and calculated that the amount that we where supposed to pay was off. We added all of the amount from the menu and what we got, it should have been $84 and ended up being 100. But the food was really good!

Best breakfast burrito I've had in awhile... I saw the grilling and was like yup got to turn around and check it out! Definitely worth the random stop.. I will be back! That yummy verde sauce

Excellent customer service! I ordered the pollo asado combo and it definitely did not disappoint! The chicken was delicious and juicy, just absolutely excellent. I will definitely be back.

This place is great. The Pollo asada is excellent. Have eaten here 3 times and had fresh food every time. Don't pass on this place!

The tacos, salsa, tortilla chips and service were awesome. I looking forward to returning and exploring the rest of the menu.

Mask wearing not enforced. Waited 30 minutes for food prep, the staff seems disorganized. The chicken is still good, fries were undercooked. Third name change in a year. Prices much higher (20-30%) than before, service is slow, probably won't be back as often as we were in the past. Lack of masks is concerning. Partner's "hamburguesa de champiñones" was missing ham which it always had in the past - very plain.

My cousin and I had lunch there today and was overly satisfied! I had a chicken chimichanga, horchata, and the chips with bean dip. WOW! Truly the best Mexican food I've ever eaten at a restaurant. The bean dip that came with the chips had so much flavor. We could have eaten 5 bowls of it. My chimichanga was packed with flavor and freshly cooked juicy chicken. Can't wait to go back!
